Armored x Magic girls ‘title forever work in progress’ series 7

this series starts in the 1st kingdom capital at the time when the queen is still on the battlefield in the 3rd kingdom.

the mc is the eye patch commander we saw in the 4th series. now i didn't go into details and the part i didn't mention was that she was not alone. she was the first to attack and as she continued to attack magic projectiles just started shooting coming from her back passing her as she paused and just stood still. she then shouted looking at her outfit "i swear if i see a hole.." it was her right hand, her assistant. the assistant uses attack where she creates magical gatling gun.

this mc is from a race which is small but lives longer now as we know people in magic world live longer but they live even longer. her race is all about agriculture and she was actually the tallest among them but now that she's not with them she's just short among everyone else xD

now she might look like a girl but she was there 50 years ago on the battlefield as a soldier. and she fell but someone really capable saved her from surrounding enemies. BIT of info: thousand years ago before Order's armors were made technomancers borrowed their nowadays old fashion armors to people from 1st kingdom and they kept them. those armors had a visor like in biker helmets. so this man had that outfit and as he tried to help her get up visor was pierced by magic and the shards fell into her eye. she run away but when battle ended returned holding her eye with the doctor tagging behind her telling her he needs to get those shards out. she wanted to know the name of that person but couldn't find the spot and eventually went with the doctor as he just about gave up trying to persuade her.

now this capital has a problem as evil spirits got riled up and are all over the city. our eye patch arrives at a square where someone really capable in old visor outfit clears the place and joins others in the same outfits, our girl is holding her necklace where the shards are placed and lost in thought as spirits return and her assistant clears them out.. again, behind her with gatling. she then puts her hand on the shoulder of our girl saying "you trying to get yourself killed" as she realizes next to her pinkie a hole on the collar "umm... got a go" as she leaves our girl still looking like she's in thoughts pulls out a sword and slashes a magic wave at remaining spirits.. causing nearby windows to break so she runs away too. there's few comedic scenes like someone using the blizzard attack and purely dressed person really did not like that. then later the purely dressed person is sneezing with everyone in squad giggling because they know.

but at the same time a castle far away is being attacked. attacking monster army is about to breach the gates as the nobleman of this castle tells his daughter to activate the beacon. that beacon reaches the capital and activates bells but the capital can't help with all this spirits wreaking havoc. then at the castle some soldiers realize it's night and everyone is confused why did it get dark so soon as they hear a flute in the distance (skipping details) after the enemy is defeated day returns and soldiers can't believe it.. it was the 2nd kingdom but not just anyone from the 2nd oh no it was the mysterious clan of oni. (info: they're ruled by 2 sisters of which one can tell future by reading signs)

later in the story our eye patch bumps into another commander with an eye patch but on the other eye. they bumped exiting different streets and start apologizing as his assistants throws a no wonder you have the same dead angle to which he receives an elbow but our girl starts staring as she's having a flash back. she kinda remembers that the visor was pierced more on the guys right as shards fell into her left eye. seeing her staring at the guy her assistant then throws a love at first sight to which she receives a high knee step to her toes.

there's going to be a diplomatic visit and teacher will intentionally put both commanders as guards as everyone is misreading her now awkward behavior as crush. in a sparing match with the red leader we find out that she actually has a defensive skill that makes her impossible to hit but has to stand still so yeah. later she gets drunk with red and black leader in a pub xD but teacher spills the beans about what happened to her 50 years ago during a diner and the other commander says that could not have been him do to his age and everyone is crap we forgot about her age.

on the way back she's riding a horse that can talk and this mdrf is a gossiper who already found out everything so the whole convoy ends up stopping few times during their intense conversations because she was at front and she stopped. with soldiers now openly displaying annoyance and the other commander joining the front she just escapes to the back out of shame.

they do get married tho xD with their assistants at the ceremony joking if they both have an eye patch what their children are going to be like receiving a shut up everyone heard you. (maybe we remember this joke for first era finale, maybe)

crucial elements of my vision for a locked tomb animated series:

First season starts with Gideon falling to her death—freeze frame, Gideon voiceover: “Yep, that’s me. You’re probably wondering how I got into this fucking mess.”

We rewind all the way to Gideon choking Harrow out as children. Gideon says “Well, now that’s just too far.” The running joke of the season is that this memory REALLY wants to play out, but Gideon refuses to get into it. That way, we get a lot of tension building up to the full scene and, more importantly, the imagery of the blood in Harrow’s nails really sticks with the audience.

Regular jumps between the present day and flashbacks so that they’re baked into the format and the river scenes in HtN don’t feel out of place.

Gideon pauses scenes literally all the time for asides and narration, a la The Emperor’s New Groove. (I feel her voice is crucial to the story and must be preserved as much as possible in a visual adaptation. The goofiness inherent to this device is also, in my opinion, completely necessary.)

When we finally get to the season finale, and Gideon dies, she KEEPS cutting in for asides, except now she’s talking directly to Harrow, who is responding, and it’s not really funny anymore.

harrow the ninth is really like. what if orpheus didn't turn around. what if he wasn't going to turn around. what if he kept his face pointed resolutely ahead and trusted that she was there even not knowing what he was hoping for. what if orpheus had to be cajoled and threatened and eventually forced to turn around. what if eurydice hadn't been told the rules and also had a crippling fear of abandonment and spent the whole time pleading with him to look at her. what if orpheus trusted that she would follow him but eurydice couldn't trust that he would care. what if orpheus was told point-blank that eurydice was almost certainly not actually behind him and he chose to keep walking anyway. what if eurydice touched sunlight again and orpheus wasn't there. what then.
