Day 277: Thursday October 3, 2024 - "Season Wrap Up"

Its wild to think that a ten team league, with 12 H2H categories, would have the whole season come down to a single base hit in the 9th inning of the second game of a makeup doubleheader the day after the season should have ended...but thats baseball. As improbable as the win was 2 weeks ago to put my Dad in the finals, he got an incredibly bad beat of his own, giving the championship, on account of a tie breaker, to Matt - a back to back champion for his team that led us in roster moves this year. I settled it up this week and got the trophy ordered for Matt, his address still saved from last year. I got to keep my money as the regular season champ. I am already ready to come back for next year.
