Weird Al made a Christmas movie where he played a villain who was kidnapping Santa’s elves, but people thought it was real and he got taken to court over it. There were posts all over Tumblr and Twitter about how he was now problematic whether he did it or not because even if he didn’t he still ENDORSED elf-kidnapping by playing this character.

!I don't support something like this, that's just my AU!
if canon Blitzwing had feelings for a Bee it would look like this
если у канонического Блицвинга были бы чувства к Би, то это выглядело бы так

Please Stop.
I wish I didn’t have to make this post, but it’s happened to me too many times for me not to say anything. Please stop telling people to kill themselves because you disagree with them.
Please stop telling people to self harm because you don’t believe what they believe.
Please stop telling people they are not valid or needed in the world because they are standing up for their beliefs.
Please stop telling people to disregard themselves to make you feel comfortable.
Please stop spreading hate and promoting bullying because you don’t have a good argument.
Please stop degrading people because you feel like they are wrong.
Please stop ganging up on people because you dislike a ship.
Please stop demonizing people on posts that aren’t even related to the problem your talking about.
Please stop going into spaces that are not meant for you and harassing the users.
Please stop invalidating medical and/or mental health issues because of something they cannot control.
Please stop sending hate to authors because you don’t like what they write.
If you do these things, YOU are the problem, YOU are the hateful one. YOU are the issue. YOU are the outlier, YOU are in the wrong. It should be common sense. If you don’t like something, you scroll away, you block the tag, you politely explain your position, you block the person. You DO NOT create a hostile environment. Shame on you. Shame on all of you.
And if you agree with this, remember it goes both ways. Whatever you believe there is someone on the other side you need to respect enough not to do these things. We’re all just human.

I mostly post positive happy/funny memes. But I think it is also important to post some about red flags and bad stuff. So obviously I hope nobody goes through this.

Types of problematic ships:
This is problematic in-canon, and is explicitly addressed as problematic in-canon by a character or narrator.
This is problematic in-canon, but it isn't directly called out. Characters still directly experience negative concequences as a result, but the author expects you to do the math.
There is evidence that this is problematic in-canon, but nothing bad ever comes of it. This could be because the author doesn't realize the implications, or simply doesn't want to go there.
The problematic subtext is there, but not everyone is looking for it or cares about it.
This ship COULD be read as problematic, but it could also be read as perfectly normal. It's ambiguous.
This would be horrible in-real life, but relationships of this nature frequently go unaddressed in canon, so it's very likely it wouldn't be seen as such in-universe.
A sequel came out, and retroactively made a ship problematic.
The author retroactively made something problematic on twitter.
Someone who isn't the author made something problematic on twitter.
The FANDOM decided they didn't like it.
This would be problematic in CANON, but we are playing a very different game than canon was, so who cares?
This wouldn't be problematic in CANON, but fuck you, we're going to talk about this realistically.
This is problematic, but due to the canonical setting, most relationships are. (picture the lack of female agency in historical fiction.) And it frustrates me that these are all considered the same amount of bad. Stop lumping things under "icky" and have an honest talk with how the subject-matter is portrayed. But you won't, because you have no media analysis skills, and make it everyone's problem.

one of my favorite things in online society is that if something is made by a problematic person, it's automatically hatsune miku instead.
notch made minecraft? no, miku did (in collaboration with philza)
you have a fursuit made by dont hug cacti? no, that's one of mikus suits.
joe hawley in miracle musical and tally hall? no that's just miku.
miku is the fallback
miku is love
miku is life
miku created everything
miku

Really great piece on the idea beauty = virtue, or as we now say being unproblematic, but it's the same rhetoric.
The heroine (not the protagonist) of the novel within the novel of Long Live Evil is considered the most beautiful woman in the land, and thus the best and purest. It's a complicated trap, this intersection of the impossible aspiration of meeting everyone's criteria for physical beauty, and the impossible aspiration of being without moral flaw.

If I collected money for all the times I've been called a pedophile because I enjoy Freddy Krueger Remake, I'd be a millionaire right now.
I am an Anti-censorship person within fiction. I really suck the dick of people who enjoy immoral content, such as Incest, Non-Con, Lolicon, etc.
Because they are FICTITIOUS tastes.
I have watched Lolicon, Shotacon, Incest content and I consider myself a healthy person, with a normal life.
This because I know how to differentiate real life versus fiction.
I insist, other people's tastes totally sweat my dick. Why can that make you a target of harassment from ''morally correct'' people on the internet? They should focus all that shit on real problems.
If there are sick people who don't understand these differences, it's THAT person's fault. Not the artist's, not the writer's.
Also if you see tags or content you hate, no one is holding a gun to your head: You are totally free like all of us to ignore, block that content.
''It's just that this reminds me of my traumas.''
Sorry if this sounds cruel, but your traumas are not the fault of others. Even your close friends don't have to deal with your problems. This is purely your struggle, your improvement and your overcoming.
I'm writing this, mostly because of everything that's going on both on Wattpad and other platforms.
Long live the misrepresentative content, the debauched and enjoy without fear, this is all fictional.
