Back on here after a few years decade away, hoping to find a slightly safer place for astrology community 🤞

I lean mostly towards hellenistic astrology and techniques with modern planets+asteroids+etc. and updated interpretations that always center the individual's background, marginalisation(s) and experiences. As a marginalised person, I put work into being accommodating to others' needs in my work as well as generally in my life 💝

I'm an animist and nordic heathen, deeply in touch with my native land, Iceland, and its many powers and wights. I'm slowly learning seiður from local practitioners too. I have absolutely zero tolerance for n*zis, f*scists and other hateful appropriation ✋️ I don't care either for new age-y love and light nonsense.

While I'm finding my sea legs again I'll probably be posting and reposting stuff a little all over the place, assuming tumblr hasn't changed that much in the last 10-ish years there'll be a ton of shitposting, astro and witchy memes and probably political outrage inbetween 🙃 I'm a mutable child of Mercury, with Jupiter conjunct my MC in Taurus, so my interests go far and wide, but at least for now I'll probably keep mostly to astro and magical/spiritual stuff on here ✨️

The beloved heathens who are my cats have figured out how to turn on my kitchen sink. Unfortunately, it's got one of those fancy lever handles & I couldn't find a child lock that would fit it, so here is my attempt to thwart their mischief:

Uses:

2 Velcro Command strips (usually for hanging pictures)

About 10-12" of Velcro strap (has hooks on one side & soft loops on the other)

The Velcro strap wraps around the handle & is held in place with the Velcro Command strips. With the strap in place, I can't wiggle it enough to turn the sink on, and the Velcro is fairly easy to put on & take off. It looks kinda MacGyvered, but the Command strips *should* be removable without damaging the faucet 🤞

I used to love Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Anne Rise Novels. I found out recently that she died and in back in the day (like 2003) I would write the worst Anne Rice fanfiction based on her Vampire Chronicles series (because I am a heathen). Lol Luckily none of it ever made it onto the internet! But hey, now that one of my favorite writer is no longer, it just feels right to tackle the genre. Though knowing Anne, she'll probably be rolling in her grave, but hey, thanks for all inspiration, Anne! You were one hell of writer and you help make me the monster I've become 🖤
