AU where the real reason Damian has a grudge against non-blood brothers is because a long time ago Talia told him Jason was his brother and Damian loved him for that but then Jason "abandoned" him (left the League and seemingly forgot about him) and Damian has been holding a grudge ever since

Meanwhile Jason either can't remember or he just believes that Damian had been too young at the time to remember

If you know Jason is Damian's brother, then this is sweet as Damian is returning highly sentimental and personal item.

If you don't know Jason is Damian brother, then this looks like Damian saw the pelt as some kind of hunting trophy, valuable only for its rarity.

I love it when the batfamily is allowed to age.

And they are still fighting crime.

Part of the whole appeal is how they're just normal ass people without any powers, minus Duke, but still go out there stopping some major crime scheme.

Even better if you compare them to athletes or gymnasts, who retire in their 20's.

Has the batfam ever cared about this? No. So it's not stopping them.
