one thing i love about chuuya's character is not only his loyalty, but that of others to him.
in the sheep, he was relied on but not fully trusted as leader. it was a job he had to take for no one else could.
in the port mafia, meanwhile, he didn't have to rise the ranks as he did. he need not be relied on but the members trust him, would follow him as leader should mori die.
the sheep were wary of him for good reason, but never had to be. the port mafia doesn't have to trust him as they do but choose to.

ok ok so
The Magnus archives is basically about this guy Jon who works at this institute called the Magnus Institute as the Head Archivist.
And in this universe there's these like fear gods who are basically fears manifested. They're also the reason for spooky stuff happening here like ghosts, paranormal activity, and other stuff like that.
The Institute is like basically the equivalent to a temple to one of the fear gods (The Eye, is like the fear you're being watched/having your secrets revealed, basically having everything about you exposed (I have the tiny headcanon that Rook is actually an avatar of the Eye and that's like the reason he's like super weird and stuff (this isn't rook slander, I love rook, I want to gnaw on him like a chew toy))) and Elias (Jon's boss) is like evil and a servant to the Eye. Jon doesn't know any of this in the first few seasons.
Elias really wants Jon to like be exposed to all the fear gods and be Marked by them (being Marked by a fear god basically means you encountered it in some form and are now like a candidate to become an Avatar (avatars btw are what the servants of the fear gods are called and they get like special powers and stuff from their god)) because Elias wants to like perform a Ritual that will bring all the fear gods into reality.
The rest of the story is basically Jon learning about the existence of fear gods and trying to stop Elias's plan of turning earth into a hellscape of fear.
-----
If you actually read through all that, I'm so sorry if it's is incoherent TT-TT
The next thing I'll be sending in will be which fear god would the black sheep would potentially be
- body horror anon
