Bomerano, Italy — March 2025. They don’t call this hike the Path of the Gods for nothing. It’s nose bleed high on the mountain with stunning views up and down the Amalfi coast. Walking the trail roundtrip from Agerola to the village of Nocelle with endless steps clocked us 11 miles. This is definitely one of the most beautful hikes Chris and I have ever done — and we have done quite a few over the years. Not only was the view magnificent but there were century-old stone cave houses along the way that people still live in today. One local was whistling up a storm with his donkey as he enjoyed his blissful day. As we walked, the hills tinkled with the sound of goat bells or nothing at all. Really quite magical.
