That's it for the favourite Precure poll! Thanks to everyone who voted. It was 141 votes total, of which one vote was removed because it had the same character more than once (which, if kept in, would have affected the middle of the following top 20 list but not the top 5).

So La Mer got both the most votes and most points, while Milky got the most first place votes. Also even with so many contestants, almost every Cure got at least one point, which is nice. And it shows that while some of them clearly got more votes than others, there's still plenty of variance of opinions in the fandom (which is also nice).

Overall I think this was a fun poll and having it be about the top 5 made it more interesting than expecting everyone to pick just one favourite. Originally it even had a top 10, but I ended up cutting it because I worried that google forms is such a cumbersome platform for a poll like this that people might ragequit halfway through.

Finally sorry about the Parfait situation again, if I ever have the same poll in a few years I'll be sure to remember to include her. She did get some write-in votes but I wonder if she got more if voting for her didn't require extra hassle.

why is delicious party pretty cure not your favorite pretty cure season?

So you'd like to know what it is that makes Delicious Party not as high on my list as others?

Well, pretty easy answer.

Character focus feels quite uneven, and I only really care about the likes of Kokone, Pam-Pam, Mari-chan and Takumi.

Yui seemed nice at first but she's kinda stayed the same and had no good growth to my liking. Compared to someone like, Nodoka.

And it has had some kinda repetive fights. Also, I expected more from Amane redemption arc :'D She was just mind-controlled in the end, sigh.

Anyway. I rather focus on the good stuff on seasons, and I don't hate any of the precure seasons. All of them have some good stuff, and in DeliPapre I also seriously enjoy YuiTaku lol. Pls let there be YuiTaku this week afsjhgsjhf.

i feel like every time i’m gonna finish rereading an arc i’m gonna come here to bother you but when i saw this it immediately brought up the discussion of how soun is really a better dad to ranma than genma .. here genma is literally watching these two idiots choking themselves to death and it’s soun who jumps in the middle (literally) to stop them both and then places the blame on genma (as he should) .. like, soun tendo really said ‘ranma is my stupid son and he belongs to my baby girl so no one can ridicule him but us’ and i think that’s beautiful

Right tho??? Ranma rlly is a sweetheart, I mean he’s always helping out around the house (repairing things he prob broke, running errands, shoveling snow, trying to bring in new students, etc) while soun could be begging genma to do literally anything and he’d just ignore him. Also we see soun training akane a few times and, even tho he doesn’t baby her, the way he trains her is soooo wildly different from how genma and ranma train. Again, sure, it forced ranma to be a quick thinker in battle, but like At What Cost

Man even in this instance where soun and ranma are arguing it’s so clear they care abt each other LMFAO. Soun’s a little french maid for the sake of making sure ranma’s not starving to death and relaying info he dug up on martial arts dining!!! (genma is there too but literally only to chow down)

SOUNS A GOOD DAD and he genuinely tries to take care of the kids, which is definitely more than can be said for genma AND nodoka
