what are some of the best magical girls and memoria for the current Kimochi? I’m not familiar with the meta at ALL and I’d like to know which girls - both limited and unlimited - are the best for this Kimochi. Are there any non flame attribute units that are good for this battle?

This kimochi is a magia-oriented one, so any attribute-strengthened magia-type flame girls are going to be best for damage. The best memoria are going to probably be mp gain up.

For magia-focused kimochi, you typically have a few roles:

damage dealer

buffer/debuffer/whatever

mp regen/mp regain

Some characters will fill multiple roles. Some characters will only fit one role. An example would be that for the recent dark kimochi, a common team you saw was:

Damage Dealer: Devil Homura, Kushu Irina, Kuroe

Buffs: Ebony, Kushu Irina

MP Regen: Kuroe, Madoka & Iroha

Kushu is a good damage dealer but her magia/doppel also buffs the team. Kuroe could deal good damage but she also gives everyone mp on her doppel, and so forth.

So this current kimochi is no different. You want to make a team that gives yourself a damage dealer, someone who will buff everyone, and someone who will assist in mp regen.

Going along with buffs, you also want someone who will remove granted effects from the enemy, as it will give itself damage cut. This makes units like Shizuka Tokime or the new Scene Zero Kyoko very good.

So I'll just break down the possibly useful flame girls here in the Damage Dealer/Buff-Debuff/MP Regen role.

Which magical witch was the most pain in the ass to desing?

Ough... definitely a doppel. Probably one of the variant doppels because they are almost always insanely detailed. The trouble with detailed magical witches is that I want to make sure I include everything of the base witch so it's a tug of war with what to include and what not to while also making it not look an ugly mess

Luca, Livia's doppel is a tricky one to translate into a character/outfit and I'm still not happy with her outcome. This one might need a redo, Livia's got pretty delicate theming to make a witch for...

Carmela, Manaka's doppel is really not one of my favourites. I struggled hard trying to fit the mismatch of ideas together. I love me a non traditionally pretty magical witch but i think the first try on Carmela just looks ugly in a bad way...

I remember really not wanting to do the halloween doppels but I think looking at the outcomes now, they're fine. I don't know if all the aspects of the originals are captured but I did my best...

Doppels like Swimsuit Kriemhild or Haregi Oktavia were really tricky but they were a few of the complicated ones that I think came out/are coming out well

I think Cuauhtitlan, Lavi's doppel is going to be difficult. I really want to do the proper research to give her a good and non offensive appearance (but I also hate research waaa) and then I'm gonna have to do the Kimochi version, oh please help me...

I have yet to do the eternal darkness and fairytale doppels, they don't look too bad but Tara, Shizuka's doppel does....
