Fun fact that, in Denmark, the National Museum has put together a reference collection of LARP (Live Action Role Playing) coins, because archaeologists started finding them in digs and got really confused!

One campaign, Legendernes Verden (World of Legends), minted 10.000 of their tin coins for a one-week LARP, and since they, and most other home-minted LARP coinage, use old Danish coinage terms on their creations, the confusion is both understandable and hilariously complete.

Here's an example:

Those in the know would immediately recognise the inscription "Narabond" as a location withing the fictional Danish LARP world 'Niraham'. Those not in the know would be endlessly puzzled, as it looks perfectly reasonable for, for example, a medieval coin.

I remember discovering the fire of Notre Dame on tumblr, so I'm very sorry to inform everyone that the Danish Stock Exchange in Copenhagen, completed in 1625, is burning. Its unique spire has fallen, and as the building is, to a larger degree than Notre Dame, made of wood, mortar, and stucco, there may be very real structural damage. As you can see from the image, they were in the process of restoring it, just as it was the case with the church. Very real reconsideration should be done to how we restore very old buildings if we keep setting them on fire during the work.

People off the street have been seen running into the building and bringing out historical art pieces, primarily paintings. If you are close by, DO NOT do this! I know it appears the heroic thing to do, but no human life is worth the risk to save a painting, no matter how significant.

Are there any regrets you have with this blog?

Sometimes. There are moments when I wish I didn't make this just sfw (even though I toe the line a bit with mentions of sex or alcohol). Mostly cause I want to talk about stuff then remember, "Oh, probably shouldn't cause minors follow this blog".

(the reason this is sfw is cause I had a different writing blog before this that was sfw + nsfw but it got shadowbanned and Tumblr was a nuisance with that blog so I remade this one as just sfw. I think that was around the time Tumblr was being weird with no nsfw stuff and what the line was when it came to it but idk for sure)

Then, of course, there are moments I worry that I'm too strict/too lenient with things. It's definitely a balance that's still a bit tricky to find. Overall I am happy with this blog and how well it's done, so it is just small things that I think about wishing I'd done differently.

It's come up before! But if no one feels like they could do him well, or run him on top of other blogs they may have, then that's simply the way it is.

Ehhh besides, it'd be fun for there to be more people in the scope of this maybe, I think. Idk. I'm enjoying getting to see other people's love of the media; more people to theoretically engage with is just appealing to me I guess.
