LMAO. literally close to fucking killing myself right now i dont want to be back by my classmates i dont its so fucking isolating and during rehs i always drift from my online friends bc i get so busy esp things are so fucked up rn with my department and they are like the only people i’ll have any real and constant interaction with and i just dont wanna i could handle it when i could see my nontheatre friends around campus or just other production people or my coworkers but i dont have that and god this cast has so much overlap with people from my last show and it felt so bad i dont have the words to describe how fucking isolating my program makes me feel and im just a stupid fucking idiot who gets out of wack when i get lonely and then im so depressed i cant reachout to people and they dont reach out to me because people dont really like me in the first place and man i just want to avoid it i just want to kill myself so bad and i could and i should but i wont i guess

1. your favorite fic that you've written (or just one you want to give a shout out to)

my favorite fic that i’ve written is you never quite say (but i hear) which is an atla fic about sokka feeling like nobody cares about what he has to say. i talked about that a bit here, so imma also say my second favorite which is called threshold of eternity and it’s an atla fic about azula processing her trauma and beginning to recover! i actually really struggled to write this one because i was so worried i wouldn’t write for azula post-canon in like... an okay way? but i’m actually really happy with how it turned out and i have a lot of love for this fic <3

2. your favorite fic title that you've come up with

oh absolutely the urge to love you is stronger which is one of two original titles i’ve posted but it’s about premonitory urge and i just have. a lot of feelings about this title.

3. how do you get inspiration to write?

oh music definitely helps me out! sometimes i hear a line and something just clicks in my brain! but also like... self-projection is definitely where i get some of my inspo iugvhjuhgvfgbh

4. your favorite genre / subgenre of fic to write.

h a n a h a k i ! i love hanahaki! there are so many different routes and possibilities... the angst and the comfort and the found family... wow it’s just. it’s so good. i’m already planning a sk8 shadow hanahaki fic like. ontop of my atla sokka hanahaki fic and my original hanahaki story. i love. hanahaki. (but also like character analysis stuff and stuff that really gets into morals and morality)

5. do you have other hobbies?

other than reading and writing... wow that is pretty much my entire personality. i am an english ed major and creative writing minor ummm. okay! i make a lot of friendship bracelets! i also like doodling even tho i’m not very good at it and i like reading other people’s essay and helping my friends with english work ! i also love theatre !

6. a fun fact about you that a lot of people may not know.

uhhhh uhhhh uhhhh pigs are my favorite animals and my friend got me this pig plushie for christmas 2020 that’s like big enough to cuddle with at night and her name is vanessa (like after vanessa from the hollow) and like. wow she is my emotional support stuffed animal like no joke. i literally take her with me almost everywhere. i’ve taken her in the car with me and when i worked / lived at camp, i would take her to staff meetings with me like. she is very special and important to me <3

7. pick one character to self project onto, go!

sOKKA let’s be real. sokka. who am i if i DON’T project onto sokka? he gets all of my deepest insecurities and all my problems <3 but also recently, reki from sk8 and king from sds. can you tell who my favorite characters tend to be iugyuhijuhg

8. favorite genre of music.

tHEATRE i literally solely listen to theatre and cartoon music. like mlp and steven universe and kipo songs. i love theatre so much. i have a playlist called “normal people music” which has nontheatrical / cartoon songs in it. there are nine songs. one is a joke song.

9. your favorite singer/band

i don’t listen to individual singers or bands, so imma do musicals. my favorite musical is aladdin (favorite song ever: high adventure), my 1.5 favorite musical is come from away, and my second favorite is a chorus line! i also love anything by starkid!

10. and finally, how has your experience in fandom been?

wow that’s a loaded question lol. i’ve been involved in fandom since sixth grade (i am a junior in college) and i have had a lot of different experiences lol. my fandom experience on tumblr has primarily been in the ninjago (created my account for ninjago) and atla / lok fandoms, and i’ve had great experiences! all of my mutuals are so kind and i’ve made so many wonderful friends here! i’ve become penpals with some mutuals and i live with one of my mutuals who i got even closer with due to atla / tumblr / fanfiction! sometimes i feel like the reki of the fandom in a negative way and a positive way. but above all: fandom is fricking fun!

Sound In Kitchen

This is an experimental music, I found 4 sounds in my kitchen. The first sound is blowing bubbles in water by using straw. Second one is pouring the wine in the empty bottle, third one is opening the cork, the last one is pouring the soda in the empty bottle. Then I combine four sounds and adjust the sound frequency, level and speed also reverse. Based on George Brecht, he did a drip music, he poured the water which is from different place and water dripped into a empty container. In Seeing, Hearing Fluxus this book, composer describe George Brecht flux event is “strive for the mono structural and nontheatrical qualities of the simple natural event, a game or a gag.” I think experimental music has some unpredictable configuration and unforeseen rhythmic structure. You will never know what is going to happen when you drip the water, different frequency, different distance from the container both will affect the sound. When I did the subject, I drip the soda in container, I never thought there has very long bubble sound in container which can really keep a long time. This are very random things. I adjust the frequency and combine 4 sounds together, at first the sound are normal, and at last the sound become strange, these sound I adjust are all unconscious, I just did what I want. There is a chaotic behavior, there are many repeating and periodic change, and in this behavior, it can produce many unpredictable things. These elements play a important role in flux music.
