hello mk/mk11 fandom! i’ve wanted to try writing this form of reader insert/imagine since i first began playing mkx/mk11, and i’ve finally done it. at least, i’ve written one part of it — i’d love to make this a miniseries for fun.

this particular set includes a divine/goddess reader interacting with a few male characters. i plan to add more roster characters in a second part, so please look forward to that. if there are any character inconsistencies, please let me know; i’d love to improve as much as possible. enjoy!

Bi-Han had never tried s'mores before. He only vaguely knew what they might be, and you explained it to him.

It was a cold night, and you wanted to have a bonfire. He helped you to collect the sticks and put them in the fire pit. You grabbed the lawn chairs and set them up. It was still too early to have a fire yet. You wanted to wait until it was darker.

You grabbed blankets and walked outside. Bi-Han was already sitting in his chair.

"Do you need help with anything?" He asked as he looked at you.

"Could you grab some graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows, please?"

"Sure." He stood up and walked inside while you continued to set up things.

It was Bi-Han's first Halloween and colder weather with you. He did live with the Lin Kuei clan before his death. After he died, he moved away and decided to live elsewhere. No one knew where he went. He had vanished. You met him one day by accidentally walking into a portal. It closed before you had the chance to go back. Bi-Han had seen it all. He waited for you to find him before he decided to help you. He wasn't very trusting of people, but after watching you, he assumed you would be a good person. It took many months before the both of you went on a date. It was many more months before both of you became a couple.

He returned, and you sat watching the blazing fire. The orange light glowing in the darkness. The stars were out, and he sat down and began to hand you the things.

You took a marshmallow out and stabbed a stick through it. You handed it to him, and then you stabbed another marshmallow and placed it over the flame.

"How long do I cook it?" He asked as he watched his marshmallow catch on fire.

"You cook it as long as you'd want until you think it's ready to be eaten." You said as you handed him your stick. He took it and held it slightly further away from the flames this time.

You waited until you had your marshmallow perfect, and you put it on the cracker with chocolate. Bi-Han's marshmallow went up in flames again. You offered him your s'mores, and he thanked you but declined the offer. He wanted to get his marshmallow perfect. He tried again, and again, it went up in flames. It took several attempts before he was finally able to cook his to perfection. No matter the advice you gave to him, it didn't work.

The both of you continued to eat some s'mores and keep warm from the fire and the blankets. You waited until the fire was beginning to burn itself out to pack up and head inside. Bi-Han enjoyed the s'mores and wouldn't mind doing it again. He would, however, do something different when it came to cooking the s'mores. It had been painful watching each of his s'mores go up in flames.

one of my many favorite headcanons of bi-han is that he likes to observe. whenever you or any of the lin kuei warriors are doing anything, he just stands there with his arms crossed. this can cause a couple of heart attacks because he is very good at hiding his footsteps and presence, so you may not even notice him until you look back.

even funnier when he is turned into noob saibot and gains the ability to actually hide in the shadows. sometimes you just see a darker shadow in the corner and you can't tell if your eyes are playing tricks on you or if it's just bi-han.

First off is Nerrez. She's a Balakian (combined order and chaos realm in my au) who doesn't subscribe to the idea of order or chaos despite her birth realm. She's a necromancer who only does things that benefit her. Quan Chi made a deal with her to create Scorpion as his servant in exchange that the bodies of the people Scorpion kills goes to her. This is how she acquired Bi-Han's body and made Noob Saibot with an experimental method.

This is Gentaro Hitora (I've posted him before but I changed his first name because it was too close to Sento). He's Kenshi's yakuza friend who, after Kenshi declares war on the yakuza, becomes his man on the inside and informant. More of a background/kameo charcter.

This is Sero, an Edenian. He's the patron to the Edenian goddess of health and fertility. As her patron he has her healing magic. After Shao Kahn conquers Edenia he is absorbed into Outworld's court with Shao allowing him to worship and build temples for his god as long as he works at his beck and call. He is the reason many come out of mortal kombat alive despite their injuries.

And the last one (for now) is my only civilian character, Kung Huai, Lao's younger sister and Jin's mother. As per Kung tradition she was placed in an arranged marriage to Jin's father. Compared to Lao she is quiet reserved (mostly because of the pressure the Kung family placed on her, Lao is more outspoken because he was raised by the Shaolin instead). She's also in the closet (I genuinely can't imagine her with a man willingly)
