Gonna be busy for a while again (requests still open, just gonna be further delayed, I don't think I need to explain further since it's just academics mostly)
But I just wanted to make a little announcement and say that the Tumblr account for my oc is currently in the making
Meet Dr. Annabelle Callahan :DD a certified physician who also specializes in research of the occult (more information about her background will be unveiled in the form of journal entries and interactable posts!)

I'm making a short film where a young female moves to a new city and starts working at an office. She's getting along great so far and at the end of her first day BAM
Cup o noodles
On the desk
A note that says hello, welcome! but there's like five scribbled out things
One of them may be a dick
But she just shrugs it off and throws away the note, eats the noodles
Free food is free food
Next day she gets another cup with a note, this time it says 'why'd you throw away my note sad face'
She's just like 'creeper alert'
But whatever, another free lunch
Several more scenes of noodles popping up at random places:
In the break room
In another office
Taped to the door
On the coffee machine
All with notes
Finally she's like who tf is writing these notes
At some point she writes back
And leaves it with an empty cup
"who dis be"
Several more shots of her eating noodles and someone leaving notes
And one day she was walking into the elevator
She runs into a guy
BAM many things on the floor
Cup noodles everywhere
That little shite
He's not exactly handsome
But that's okay
He won her over with food
NOODLES
MANY OODLES OF NOODLES
And that's where it ends
I want to add a couple of things in the background/foreground where he's there, you just don't notice him because *main character lady hrrdrr* OHSHITEAMANFUCK
So basically that's my idea have fun
Also I'm working on this for class, lemme know if I should put it on youtube

Lo mein....kinda
Oodles and oodles of noodles.
Tumblr media
I loosely followed this recipe but I also added some random veg I had in the fridge--two bell peppers, and a bag of cauliflower/broccoli slaw. I also topped it with the Trader Joe's crunchy onion chilli oil, which is my new favourite thing.
but also....oh my god I think I made enough noodles to feed everyone I've ever met.

The Flying Pan in Salcedo Village Makati offers hearty delicious breakfast items as well as Filipino food with a modern flare. Why we love The Flying Pan's hearty breakfast food  IN THIS ARTICLE Our experience at The Flying Pan  We discovered The Flying Pan during our random walks in the Salcedo Village area. We were just newly-renting in Makati and we were still excited with the thought of having casual and leisurely dinners in the business district. All of a sudden, we were loving Makati at night.  You see, when we were still commuting from Makati to Novaliches on a daily basis, we would always eat our food express when we eat out in Makati unless we wanted to be home by midnight.  Anyway, what drew us to The Flying Pan were the quirky name and the relatively small interiors which was not intimidating at all. It was a homey ambiance, accentuated with soft lights, that set the mood for a cozy dinner.  The Menu  The Flying Pan’s menu is an eclectic mix of European and Filipino food. It’s actually quite interesting and also exciting to see those food choices. Even so, the items on the menu were not too diverse to the point that we would not know where to begin or which to taste first.  If you are interested to know the items on offer before deciding to visit The Flying Pan, here is the line-up included in its menu:  Wings 200  Adobo wings   Buffalo wings  Inasal Wings  Lemon Pepper Wings  Binagoongan Wings  Starters  Sweet and sour shrimp poppers (P305) Calamari (P230) Garlic mussels (P155) Beef sisig (P235) From the garden  Nicoise Salad (P230) Caesar Salad (P245) Chef’s Salad (P260) Monique’s Salad (with grilled chicken and dried cranberries, French beans, and blue cheese) (P250) Tummy warmers  Lomi (P225) Creamy tomato soup (P150)  French onion soup (P180) From the pizza oven  Three cheese (P290) Sisig pizza (P330) Smoked salmon and arugula (P375) Smoked fish and red egg (P245) Shrimp and garlic pizza (P320) Oodles of noodles  Mi Goreng (P205) Linguini with smoked salmon, spinach, and capers (P325) Fettucine with bacon, mushroom, and roasted tomato (P270) Frutti di Mare (P260) Linguini with garlic longganisa, fresh tomatoes, and basil (P260) In the hand  Salcedo burger 2.0 (P415) Flying pan club sandwich (P375 Longganisa burger (P340) Reuben (corned beef with Swiss cheese on rye bread) (P465) Hangover burger (P500) Korean fried chicken sandwich (P325) Filipino all day  Angus beef tapa (P415) Homemade chicken tocino (P310) Cabanatuan pork longganisa (P360) Chicken adobo flakes (P290) Pork sisig (P345) Danggit (dried rabbit fish) (P295)  Franco’s breakfast (Angus Sisig hash with fried egg and garlic rice) (P410) Specialties of the house  Corned beef and cabbage (P440) Porchetta (P390) Crispy binagoongan (P310)  Soy and ginger miso salmon with wasabi fried rice (P465) The best fish and chips (P340) Just chicken in  Chicken inasal (390) Piri piri chicken (P390) Hainanese half chicken (P490) Nasi goreng with fried chicken (P255)  Off the grill  Slow roasted Angus beef belly (P580) Mushroom steak (P695) Barbecued spareribs (P460)  Vegetarian  Chickpea burger (P220) Pasta primavera (P260) Shakshuka (P200) Dessert as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are also available in the menu. What we ordered  It was our first time at The Flying Pan so we scanned the menu thoroughly. We came here for dinner but we were drawn by the breakfast food selection.  Thai Shrimp Salad We ordered Thai Shrimp Salad (P240), Franco’s Breakfast (P410), crispy pork binagoongan (P310), and extra rice. We also had a salad  There were just a few diners during the time we went to The Flying Pan so our food arrived quite fast.  We started with the Thai Shrimp Salad, which was good. The greens were fresh and crisp, and the shrimps were plump and sweet. The light dressing also went well with the vegetables and seafood — it definitely did good in whetting up our appetites.  Franco's Breakfast But among our orders, we were excited to try The Flying Pan’s Angus sisig in the Franco's Breakfast plate and it did not disappoint. It was delicious, flavorful, and really tender.  The Angus meat was perfect with the fragrant garlic rice and the fried egg. This Angus sisig is absolutely something that I could have any time of the day. You really cannot go wrong with breakfast food. Pork binagoongan The Flying Pan’s pork binagoongan, meanwhile, was served interestingly different because the meat was hidden among slices of vegetables. It did not look like the typical pork binagoongan at first but upon closer inspection, there were generous servings of meat underneath the slices of green chili and tomatoes.  Pork binagoongan is also one of our favorite dishes so whenever it is available in the menu, we would always try it. The Flying Pan’s version of this Pinoy dish is hearty, slightly crunchy, and savory. You cannot not have plenty of rice with this.  The verdict  All in all, we had an awesome meal at The Flying Pan. We have read varied reviews about this restaurant, almost half of it was negative. It was good though that we had a different experience.  The Flying Pan was not crowded when we went there so our food was served immediately. Our server was attentive and was very good in giving suggestions.  The food was delicious and enjoyable to eat. As for the price, we found it to be commensurate to the quality of the food. In the end, The Flying Pan is one restaurant that I would recommend for its food and ambiance.  The Flying Pan is located at Ground Floor, Citadines Building, Valero Street, Salcedo Village, Makati. For inquiries and reservations, you may call telephone numbers (+632) 8556-8100 and (+632) 8869-1963. They also accept orders for pick-up via Angkas, Lalamove, Mr. Speedy, and Joyride. Community Management Best Practices: 3 easy steps to Achieve Immortality for you and your Community
This post was written by Community Vanguards member +Azlin Bloor
The Foodies+ community has grown and grown over the last 4 years and is one of the most popular communities on Google+. Not quite immortality, but getting there.
Here’s a rundown on how we do it:
1. Hold regular themed events that encourage every member to participate. We’ve had:
· Themed Months – Healthy, Croatian, Tapas, Breakfasts, etc
· Weekly Hashtags – #JapaneseWednesday, #FrenchFriday
· Topical/Festive – Christmas, Chinese New Year, etc.
· Random Topics with catchy titles - Zing & Zany, Reigning Rice, Oodles of Noodles
The whole campaign is led by one member, who writes an introductory post, introducing the topic with any background information. This topic curator would have previously sounded out a handful of members. As soon as the introductory post goes live, the rest of the members are free to post relevant recipes related to the chosen topic. This continues for the rest of the month.
These regular campaigns inject an awesome rush of activity into the community, encouraging conversations that very often continue into the night.
2. Don’t just rely on the Mods
One of the things to note here is that Foodies+ views these regular themes as a way of promoting its members. Past topics have been curated not just by moderators but by valued members who not only post regularly but also spend a lot of their time talking to each other within the community, which is the foundation of our success.
3. Encourage all members to reshare each other’s posts with the public.
This not only promotes the members, but the community as well and has in turn, attracted good quality new members.
* Bonus Step! *
Taking the collaboration one step further, we also organise a non-virtual cookie swap amongst our members at Christmas and, more recently, we published our very first cookbook, for charity.
So there you have it. Immortality in 3 easy steps (with a little author’s licence). Now take action and see your community join the gods. Use your own imagination to come up with similar projects – better still, ask your members!

Dofe Expedition: Weird Moments (Day one)
So here’s a list of all the shit that went down:
We arrive late at the starting point
We literally cannot fit the tent into any of our bags bc of the oodles of noodles and various useless shit
We get lost on our way out of a park and take ages to get to the first fucking checkpoint
We finally stop for a break and eat half of my Jaffa Cakes, most of our lunch, half of my Italian friends’ chocolate and most of the Russian guy’s Pringles
We stop at a pub to pee
We walk through a fucking graveyard to get to our next checkpoint bc nOBODY FUCKING LISTENS TO ME
We finish the Pringles and lose all hope
My Portuguese guy-friend who is generally really sweet and never curses got so fed up and for the next five or so minutes, he basically punctuated the start, middle and end of every sentence with ‘shit’, ‘bitch’, ‘fuck’ and ‘motherfucker’.
The Russian guy also loses it after he gets stung by stinging nettle. He at some point said with the strongest Russian accent ever (and I quote): “Guys, this whole time I’ve been saying things like ‘Fuck DofE, fuck England, fuck Mother Nature, and now, Mother Nature has just fucked me.”
We take a completely wrong turn and only realise it 4 FUCKING HOURS LATER WHEN WE END UP AT A RANDOM FARM
We ask two locals (who my Egyptian friend later called pedophiles bc they looked hella shifty) where we are and we were at least 7 kilometers off track
We just fucking laugh for an hour bc we knew we were fucked
With the help of our teachers, we got back on track
The other group was already in camp, enjoying their fucking meal and tucking their lucky fuck selves into bed
We nearly fall down a steep-ass hill
After another few hours, we make it to the campsite and start making tents and cooking
My Egyptian friend cooks the noodles and sausages for us and ate her own like a fucking savage.
We lay in bed and my Italian friend and I literally cannot stop laughing about the dumbest shit like Princess Fiona being thicc and my Egyptian friend gets pissed until like two minutes later when she’s in a laughing fit, claiming that ‘I’m in so much fucking pain, it’s not even funny’
We all freeze to death while we sleep
Welp that’s it for day one. This was probably way too long. Sorry if you’ve made it this far.

I'd have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice and they both equally hit me in the gut
@i-am-cheese-fairy
(anyways to any moots on here who didn't know i have a twin....surprise)

This genuinely happened to me earlier while I was sitting on a window sill in my school building (me and my close friend)
(I do not expect many people to see this lmfao but I just need to post this somewhere)
Tumblr media
Context about the drawing below:
(tophat guy: complicated to explain my dynamic but all I'll say is that it's a close friendship with unintentional-intentional romantic undertones??? Idfk IT'S COMPLICATED, I'm just gonna label him as "close friend")
I decided to sit on the open window and wait for my close friend "Pineapple" to come back from somewhere
When he came back I stared dead into his eyes and smiled because usually I would "fuck around and find out" so sitting on an open window on the 2nd floor is definitely dangerous (dw I was facing the classroom interior, not the outside)
He straight up went to me, scooped me up, and bridal carried me off the window with ease, take note that he's lanky and is the same weight as me despite having a 7 inch height difference between us, yet somehow he carried me with so much ease
Usually he would tell me to get down from the window a few times before I comply but bro literally went "nuh uh" and did it himself, wtf?!??!? (I am a flustered mess and it literally happened 6 hours ago, I am definitely normal)

Context: it's Christmas season in the Philippines, from September to December, there's no Halloween here unfortunately.
So why not do something for Christmas season by letting you guys Carol in my inbox for some art (I do not have money to give, pls have mercy)
If there's anything fandom specific just notify
