[Day 27] Hermitaday - Scar Goodtimes! Scar is showing Bdubs how to use his crutches!

It’s a pretty good day for Scar, so he’s ok with just using his cane today. As he was putting his crutches away, Bdubs came up and asked if it was ok to try them. Scar was overjoyed that someone showed interest in learning more about his disability, especially since most of the hermits just ignore it (which he likes more if he’s being honest), but it’s nice to be able to share about it and teach people.

"Of course!" Scar exclaimed while waving a big grin spread across his face. "Let me just adjust the height for you," he added with a soft laugh. Bdubs pouted a little, but Scar could see he was actually super excited. With a practiced ease, Scar lowered the height of the crutches and passed them over to Bdubs.

Bdubs grabbed the crutches with an excited giggle and slipped his arms through the cuffs. "Is this right?" He asked looking over at Scar.

"Other way around. I can never remember, so I put stickers on the cuffs. Stickers on the outside so everyone can see their whole glory," Scar quipped with a laugh. Bdubs nodded and switched the crutches with a small smile and a tear in his eye. "Oh Bubbles, what's wrong?"

Bdubs looked up at Scar with a light stream of tears rolling down his cheeks. "How do you do it, Scar? This looks so simple but I feel like it'd be exhausting pretty quickly."

Scar quickly pulled Bdubs into a soft hug and nodded lightly, "It is hard. No one ever wants to talk about it, and it can be relieving sometimes, just forgetting about it all, but at the end of the day, it'll always be there. Some days are better than others for sure, but even then, even like today, it's still rough. But listen to be Bdubs," he started before taking a step back and lifting Bdubs head with his finger. "You asking, you caring, and you coming to me and just being here makes it so much better. It will always be hard, definitely exhausting, but people caring and being there for me makes it better."

A gentle clatter could be heard as the crutches fell to the carpeted floor as Bdubs wrapped his arms around Scar. Scar whipped his tears away and hugged Bdubs back tightly. "Thank you, Scar." Bdubs mumbled into Scar's shirt.

Scar chuckled softly as he picked up his crutches from the floor and offered them to Bdubs again, "wanna give them another go~?"

Sooo like I know this is daily bdubs, but this one means a lot to me. Scar is an amazing public advocate for people like me. He proves that disabled people can do things. Disabled isn't useless. And that is really important to me. I work full time but that's only because I push myself through my pain and exhaustion becuase of an ablist manager. But people like Scar who just live their best lives reguardless of their disability and are just truly happy.. those are the people I look up to the most.

The crutches are based off mine but I just changed the stickers and bracelets. Idk if they can be seen or understood very well but I tried :)

obsessed with the divorce arc between beef and iskall.

they hate each other, they're obsessed with each other. iskall makes excuses to go to beefs house just to make him miserable, beef stews in frustration about it.

the newest update is my favourite somehow, iskall had a villager that beef stole and beef has moved him into the house to be his brand new chef boyfriend, I hope iskall is FURIOUS

also okay. look i know ren and doc play into the rendoc thing all the time but it is IMMENSELY funny to me that doc has decided to start directly calling ren his husband....... but only for the purpose of recusing ren as a witness because he can't be called in to testify against his own husband as a conflict of interest thing. this is insane to me. rendoc marriage is real (it is real for purposes of crime),

[Day 21] Hermitaday - Iskall! They’re serenading each other ❤️

Iskall is like… top 5 hermits so this piece means a lot to me. He’s so sweet and silly and deserves the world. If whoever sees this hasn’t watched Iskall I highly recommend watching them because he is… baby. He’s baby girl. Precious. Not to mention they have a few dozen hours of content on iskall and vodskall. Noms.
