OKAY. SO. TWO VERY POWERFUL SCENES: i watched both nami’s “help me” at arlong park and robin’s “i want to live” at enies lobby in both sub and dub just now…and for those two in particular. damn theyre actually ALL GOOD?? LIKE ALL REALLY WELL DONE?? although. my favorite dub moment by far. is robin’s “i want to live” in dub. her english voice is my fav compared to the sub by far. if you havent heard it i HIGHLY recommend you check it out like please. for me. literally gives me chills every. time.

tbh that is one of my only major issues with the live action. i actually prefer live action luffy (DONT KILL ME. ITS ONLY BY A LITTLE BIT. INAKI IS JUST SO WONDERFUL AND ITS A COOL ALTERNATE TAKE TO HIS CHARACTER. HE’S..NICER. MORE KIND? The origin for Yotaro even existing is because of this pet website I used to be on called Pony Island-- I used to be obsessed with it and I gave the ponies I adopted "lore". anyways I got a pony from like the Pony Market and was like "OOOH i will base their lore off wolf in sheep's clothing" and initially my idea was to name them something relating to that however I was an idiot child and it didn't go that way at all and anyways I like the name Yotaro enough to keep it now. I mean, I got lucky and it didn't end up being anything BAD which is great but. still kinda embarrassing

anyways, shocker (/j /s) but the first thing I decided about them was that they're a manipulative... wolf in sheep's clothing VBRGYHFDBDUHD LIKE THE TITLE OF THE SONG BY HIT BAND SET IT OFF anyways yeah. they used to be a completely unfeeling cold and ruthless power-hungry bastard who only cared about themself and liked treating others like dolls. anyways I didn't ever really expect them to be much more than a pony island character but then i made them a human design and then i thought "oh haha it would be so funny if them and Alexandra met" and i liked that so much that they managed to sneak their way into her story and uh Yeah. also originally Laila and Yotaro were Not siblings! the funny thing is Laila and Alexandra used to be a ship and then I thought "oh fuck but what if Alexandra and YOTARO...... :0" and in my head i was like FREAKING OUT like oh my god who do i pick. pretty sure it's obvious who won the ship war LMAO. then as i developed them more i went "... what if i made them Relatable" so now they're still a power-hungry bastard but their desire for power is not because they wanna rule over others but because they don't ever want to get hurt again. let me rant about a few headcanons let’s GO

for canon era, i like to think that hanji probably skipped a ton of meals (not on purpose, they were just SO engrossed in paperwork and research and whatnot), so levi took a trip into the kitchens every single night and cooked a nice meal for his commander, even super late at night, entered hanji’s room without knocking, tool all the papers and sat his ass on them, refusing to move until hanji finishes all the food lol i like to imagine he’d cook hanji’s fav dish a lot, something with potatoes maybe? like baked potato cakes with cheese and greens on the side with a warm cup of tea, or a warm soup for cold nights. according to chuugakkou levi’s a great cook so i feel like he’d be good in canon too :’D

also i like to think that they probably slept together (i mean literally, like in the same bed, not having sex) A LOT due to night terrors, just hearing each other’s breathing and feeling the other’s body warmth close to them is enough to calm them down so i feel like it became a habit for them to just sleep in the same bed, not necessarily cuddling; at least, not voluntarily lmao they’re far too awkward 😩 but in the morning they ALWAYS wake up holding esch other, cue them being awkward as fuck i might be tearing up a little at the thought of levi being a lil spoon and being half awake half asleep cuddling closer to hanji bc “oh who cares it’s a dream” AND THEN NOTICING THAT HE’S AWAKE LMAOOO HIS SOUL WOULD LEAVE HIS BODY especially bc hanji wakes up in that precise moment and is literally holding him super tight around the waist, legs thrown over his, my god they would both DIE from embarrassment they’d jump away from each other so fast- bye this is too adorable for me i’m going to have a heart attack
