So maybe this is unwelcome because I don't see your asks being open anymore but...
I had a minor horrifying idea? I know your AU is meant to be sweet and it does have comfort at the end but still.
Anyway, as it goes, Danielle ends up in the past. Vlad cares for her, comes to see her as a daughter of sorts even.
But then her instability hits.
This is the first time that he meets Clockwork, but probably gets forced to forget it until... Clockwork shows up in the future, maybe a year after Danielle's initial disappearance.
Too be canon compliant, Vlad forgot about her because of Clockwork but, subconsciously, he knew he was missing a child. And when he saw Danny? Part of him knew that his child was tied to him.
But Danielle doesn't feel right to him, and he needs more time, he needs to loosen the grip his obsession holds on him before he can be allowed to remember.
But during that year Danielle was gone? Clockwork was allowing his memories to show up real-time in comparison to his past, and he slowly realizes. And he struggles to put together an even stronger method of stabilization, maybe even using his own mid-morph because he's grown, he's not going to bother Danny, and it's really just a bridge, doesn't cause much difference. So when Danielle finally returns to him, he's able to stabilize her.
And from this point on, you get Present-Day!Half-Redeemed!Vlad. You get him putting her in school, even if it starts out with her deaged a little to preserve ectoplasm. You have him very carefully introducing her to Jack and Maddie (who may or may not notice the similarities. You've got him being a dad again.
Danielle is confused, but, to her, it seems like Vlad is closer to the him he was when she was living with his past. Plus, he probably buys her the entire Jem series or something.
I dunno but It seems like a good way to merg your AU with Canon.
But yeah, not only for Vlad lose his friends but then his daughter kindred spirit and then he lost his memories. Poor guy.

-a classic deaging fic, len is heartbreakingly cute
Stand Still by Taste_of_Bitterness [2022-09-15, 25k]
-len doesn't go on the waverider after running to stand still. Barry's kind of a mess here, tbh?
I Think I Love You by youmakemesoangry [2023-05-03, 67k]
-it's post Len and mick's legends trip, and they're helping out team flash. there's a truth spell involved. It's a classic trope. (also there's this bit where mick's reading Frankenstein and he calls creature victor's kid, and that's such a mood, my gothic fiction class spent like an hour talking about his daddy issues once)

Hello! You know what? I love your blog. And you know what assassin mentors as ymbryns. (I know they're female but anyway...) And they are desmond protectors and friends.
What if Altair pecked(is it right?😐) out one of William's eye after he hurted desmond during training.
What kind of eagles do you think they whould become? And what do you think abstergo whould do after finding out their secret?
And I have another question for you. Idk if you remeber the fic which Altair and Ezio were behaving like animals due to their isu DNA but do they purr? Like Ezio purring when he is cuddling Caterina? Idk. I'm just imagening this.
Maybe in their world, ymbryns can be either gender. Or, they’re special in the sense that the Isus ensured that they would become ymbryns regardless of their gender.
Maybe it would be more accurate to call them anomalies.
They can shift their form into humans or eagles any time they want but they lack the ability to create loops. They can manipulate memories but it seems to be limited in terms of how ‘much’ memory they can change or remove at a given time before they need to rest for a week or so.
They don’t necessarily take care of any peculiars because of their inability to form loops so they usually roam the world.
They first met in South Dakota on March 13.
At first, there were three.
Then four.
Then eight.
Desmond grew up seeing them watch over him and they befriend him, taking their human forms but deaged to match Desmond’s young age.
He grows up thinking of as his only friends.
And it always makes him sad knowing that he cannot shapeshift himself.
Some things changed. Maybe Desmond never ran away from the Farm, as his friends helped him to be an Assassin. Maybe he gets to save Clay because he ignored Bill’s orders. Maybe he doesn’t kill Lucy because she’s taken into custody when he learns of her betrayal.
But Desmond Miles still activates the device on December 21, 2012.
That must happen for the world to survive.
And so Desmond places his hand on the device.
He screams.
And his friends all wish for the same thing.
To save him.
And that’s how they create a loop.
A permaloop that keeps Desmond alive as long as he stays inside the loop.
What kind of eagle would they be:
Altaïr: Lesser Spotted Eagle
Ezio: Bonelli’s Eagle
Ratonhnhaké:ton: White-tailed Eagle
Edward: I kinda want to make him a jackdaw instead of an eagle XD If you really want him to be an eagle, Spotted Eagle.
Arno: Booted Eagle
Evie: Short-toed Eagle
Jacob: I kinda want to make him a rook XD If not, Short-toed Eagle like Evie and you can’t distinguish the two. If you want him to be a different eagle, Golden Eagle
Well, Abstergo would definitely want to capture them and experiment on them, try and figure out how they are able to shapeshift then use that information to create their own shapeshifters and also… find a way to profit from it XD
(I can’t say I remember any fic like that. It’s certainly not one I wrote, sorry. But if they behave like animals due to their Isu DNA then purring is not out of the question. Maybe even some kneading XD)

So I just finished reading de-aged Sanji fic and I'm like 💡💡💡, what if warlord!Sanji got de-aged. So Jinbei call the others to inform them what happened, so the duration of Sanji who got de-aged there's just warlords in the Sunny lol, the Strawhats feel awkward with all of this warlords but they knew it's good for Sanji since he looks so relaxed ever since the warlords is in the Sunny. Sorry for the word vomit lol.
You just want Mihawk holding baby Sanji don't you? It's okay, I do too. I get it. Those deaged Sanji fics are pure gold I love them. (you made me write a fic again)
As for warlord!Sanji getting deaged. What a mess. He gets hit by a stray devil fruit or jumped in the way of Luffy or Zoro and is suddenly ten years old with no memory of the last eleven years. Blinking at Luffy and Zoro and Robin and trying not to cry asking where Mr. Mihawk is. And like Sanji is small, I don't think the Orbit really gave Sanji enough food to counteract the dungeon and then the rock? Sanji probably looks like he's seven or eight but he's ten if he's asking for Mihawk.
Aboard the Thousand Sunny Sanji sees Jinbei and runs to him and hides behind him. Jinbei knows this child well, spent a lot of time with him and listens when Sanji is pointing at the crew and asking who they are and where is Mihawk and why isn't he on Kuriagana? Jinbei asks him how many warlord meetings Sanji has been to and so far he's been to eight, so enough for Sanji has visited everyone, Jinbei concludes. Still, Sanji is young and still pretty fresh from the rock.
Jinbei tells the crew to expect the other warlords and to go find the Devil Fruit user did this and leaves with Sanji to go make the call. The crew goes and finds the devil fruit user and find out it'll wear off in like two weeks. Luffy keeps trying to cajole Sanji out to play and Jinbei tries to explain to Luffy that Sanji hasn't really seen any other children yet.
Then Boa arrives and squeals when she sees tiny Sanji and he's hoisted into the air by the pirate empress and then just held to her as she coos and Sanji looks uncomfortable as Crocodile arrives next with the mandatory punch to the face which doesn't really work because Croc's not wet and neither is Luffy. He just pats Sanji's head and asks what he was cooking recently. Doflamingo arrives and adjusts his pink coat and takes Sanji and holds him like he did the first warlord meeting Sanji was ever in, with the tiny cook hidden with one arm while gesturing with the other.
Sanji answers and talks with the warlords and the crew stares. They just stare because the warlords are fine but Luffy and them wanting to play isn't? When Mihawk arrives Sanji bolts straight to him, cutting whoever was talking off. Mihawk easily scoops Sanji up midstride and holds him. Jinbei has already explained to them what was going on and what Sanji remembers and Robin tells them that they don't know what effects the truth will have.
It's like a weird little science experiment for the crew to watch Sanji and his parents. Especially since Boa was in charge of bringing clothes and Mihawk is looking actually pained as she and Sanji go through it.
"He's training physically." Mihawk says almost on autopilot.
"LET ME DO THIS! I HAVE NOT GOTTEN TO PLAY DRESS UP IN FOREVER, HAWKEYE!" Boa yells at him which makes Sanji flinch and Boa just hugs and soothes him. Then leads him away with a pile of clothing they picked out.
"It really is just like when he first showed up." Crocodile chuckles.
"Hawkeye is certainly having heart palpitations like he did then." Jinbei laughs. Chopper immediately asks if Mihawk is having heart problems and Mihawk has to assure the little reindeer he's fine, everything is fine. He just went through everything with Sanji and them once and didn't think he'd have to do again. Doffy shoves Mihawk playfully at that and a Sanji like kick sends the man flying into the mast.
"That's where he learned it from?" Nami asks with her voice breaking in disbelief.
"What? No, he learned it from Zeff and Jinbei. Every swordsman needs to know how to kick." Mihawk says and Zoro nods.
"That's true." Zoro agrees. "I didn't realize you had Sanji for so long, I just thought you found him and took him to Baratie."
"No, Zeff talked him into adoption, and it's not like the Marines would exactly miss an opportunity to kidnap a pirate's kid." Crocodile says.
"Oh, you got Sanji off the rock." Luffy nods. "Why'd you let everyone else take Sanji though?"
"I wasn't going to take him on jobs, that's idiotic." Mihawk says. "Or let the marines have him."
"So you let Doflamingo take him?" Robin smiles.
"No, I kidnapped Sanji." Doflamingo grins widely which makes the strawhat crew gape and then attack him until Sanji and Boa come out. Sanji is in a long skirt and flowy blouse and has his hair clipped back which make Robin and Nami coo and call him adorable.
"Can you fight?" Crocodile asks.
"Of course he can fight! I only put him in things he can fight in!" Boa hisses.
"So if I toss him in the water you won't cry about the clothes?" Mihawk asks as Sanji runs back to him.
"You're awful." Boa seethes.
"I'm a pirate." Mihawk shrugs as he looks at Sanji. "Do you want to go in the water?"
"Not right now." Sanji mumbles as he eyes the strawhats. "When are we going home?"
"Soon, we just need to help them find someone and then we'll go." Mihawk assures him as Doffy grumbles and hands Crocodile a wad of cash who splits it with Jinbei.
"Did you bet on this?" Usopp asks.
"We always bet on Sanji." The three say. Mihawk groans and Boa nods in agreement. Mihawk and Sanji take the aquarium and Boa joins Nami and Robin in the women's room. Doffy and Crocodile decide to just sleep wherever is most convenient. The crew watches them all train Sanji in their own ways. Crocodile takes Sanji to Nami's navigation room to help with budgets. Boa and Doflamingo train Sanji with his physical abilities and then Mihawk and Jinbei focus on haki mostly.
Luffy and Zoro feel terror and horror from Sanji at one point in the middle of the night and rush to the aquarium where Mihawk is talking quietly to a crying Sanji while pointing at the fish. Mihawk simply invites them to join and they do. They listen to Sanji and Mihawk talk about fish and Luffy just asks a ton of questions as Zoro eyes the elder warily.
"Ya know, he's never really told us about any of his families. He asked me not kill them in Tottoland though." Luffy says after Sanji falls back asleep, tucked safely into the nook under Mihawk's arm. "Is he why you guys all turned against the government?"
"We were simply standing in for your crew." Mihawk answers.
"He's so small, I wish he would play more." Luffy whines which makes Mihawk think momentarily.
"There's still a couple days left. You could try." Mihawk says.
"What, he never played before?" Zoro huffs with disbelief.
"Not really, no." Mihawk answers which makes them stare at Mihawk. "Well, in a way he did but not like you lot do. More dress up and training than anything. Softness was very new to him."
"Shocker, even back then the cook didn't say shit." Zoro grumbles as he focuses on the fish.
"Maybe you haven't been listening." Mihawk responds as the aquarium goes quiet. The next day all of Sanji's parents are joining in on the trying to get Sanji to play with Luffy and Chopper while the others handle everything and it kind of works. Kind of, Sanji is still really timid but tag is easy enough to make it seem enough like training but fun. His crew is still shocked about how fast and nimble Sanji is.
When Sanji is big again, he wakes up with the worst hang over of his life and stumbles outside for a cigarette only to see his parents on deck and is very confused. Boa is holding him and squealing and Crocodile is ruffling his hair and Mihawk is rolling his eyes as Doffy and Jinbei laugh. The crew is happy to have their Sanji back and Luffy is immediately asking for food. Nami tells him he was a cute kid which just puzzles Sanji and suddenly Doflamingo is explaining what happened very quickly and in another language as Sanji stares at him with deadened eyes.
Sanji will never live this down.

First of all thank you so much for the deaged fics.
They both made my day and little Max is especially close to my heart 💙
I have some questions if you have the time?
Do they remember what has happened to them in their childhood up to the age they age down to and do they know their adult life?
What made Max go to Daniel when he aged down? Did he remember Daniel’s promise to take care of him or was it something else?
What is Max and Daniel’s favourite thing to do together when Max is small?
I have about a million more but I’ll stop there🤣
And again thank you thank thank you ☺️
Little Max is also very close to Daniel's heart, if that helps.
Some waffling thoughts under the cut :)
okay, so if you think back now to being seven, those memories are pretty fuzzy or have gaps or feel quite far away? That's what it's like to age up after being small. I guess some people might have very good memories for when they're little irl so might remember things better, but Max when he ages back up just remembers things in a gently fuzzy kind of a way. And it's the same going the other way. Like, baby Max asking for his cats isn't because he remembers being grown up and having cats, it's because he knows that when he's small and with Daniel, that they go and get his grown up cats and bring them to Daniel's and he gets to play with them. But also, he fuzzily knows of these people - Charles and Christian etc, they're not strangers, but he also doesn't know them, know them. And he knows that he's supposed to go to Daniel when he first gets small but he doesn't know him like he knows him as a grown up. (Of course, not being able to fully remember what it's like to be small and have Daniel love you/love him in return is very confusing/strange/weird for a grown up Max, SPOILER)
He remembers that he's supposed to! And I'm making it so that they still live in the same building so it's not that difficult. People are supposed to make contingency plans and have ICGS contacts in their phones (in case of going small) so they can ask someone for help but baby Max in particular is not really able to ask for support, which is why he goes to Daniel's place by himself like a very, very scared but really very brave tiny person. He also has it written on a little card, a little message from grown up Max to him. It's in English and Dutch.
Max doesn't like bedtime stories so they read his flag book together instead, and Daniel knows it upside down and back to front, so he tries to widen the collection to include another geography book and a different flag book. They also have some flag jigsaw puzzles and one of maps. Max likes to tell Daniel all about all the Pokemons and he also likes to look at pictures of grown up Max and Daniel and ask Daniel a lot of questions about if Max is happy in this picture or if Daniel is happy in this picture or if Daniel thinks that grown up Max would like him. Mostly Max likes to talk a lot and Daniel likes to indulge him.

#18 - Guide, for your Ashton gets deaged into a kid with Bell's Hells scenario.
So here's my quick(ish) notes on Ashton Getting De-aged, just for reference/those interested.
Imogen thinks it's kind of cute and jealousy inducing to see this child version of Ashton cling to Laudna's skirt.
One small, soft hand fiercely twisted into purple fabric, the other fisted in the brown fabric of Orym's old pants that still leave jade shins on display. The careful, determined shuffle of his footsteps so FCG won't have to heal another ring of bruises where stone and normal skin meet. How he lets Laudna keep a gentle guiding hand on his shoulder, a tentative little smile on his face as she rambles about how nice Ms. Alma is and why they don't need to stick around for "boring grown-up business" (which is figuring out how to turn Ashton back into his normal self).
A part of Imogen aches that something as simple and good as this little walk through Zephrah had been denied to Ashton when they were actually this young.
(That her own memories of such simple times with her father are tainted by the distance grown between them. That her mother was never there for something like this at all–)
But it's nice to see the joy they (though mostly Laudna and FCG) have coaxed onto the not-quite familiar face now.
The memories of her own wants, a desire to be part of the peace and happiness Laudna crafts, guides Imogen's hand to ruffle curled hair as she offers her own thoughts on Alma.
"Don't worry. Alma's real sweet. And I bet you could convince her to give you some of those tasty bran muffins with honey real easy," she says conspiratorially with a wink.
The idea earns her a shyly embarrassed aversion of heterochromatic eyes. And a swipe of pink tongue across small lips.
Hook, line, and sinker.
Even as an adult, Ashton's tell for I want food and am thinking about it is quick flicker of tongue over lips.
Then a small hand gently tangles in the sheer fabric of Imogen's own skirts, and she finds a slight blush on the cheeks of the little culprit when she looks to them.
And really, brash and blunt and self-admitted asshole Ashton has no business being this cute, even if it's all because they've been reduced to a lost little kid.
But the small act of trust is just heartwarming.
So is the soft look Laudna directs at her.

your blog title ‼️‼️‼️ finally someone who gets it. i am asking you about it
THANK YOU it’s something that’s really stuck with me in the ~100 episodes of dc that I’ve seen so far.
The first thing that really disturbed me was thinking about his teeth situation. I’m assuming Conan is physically around 8? So he would have a good portion of his baby teeth left, and his 12 year molars would have yet to erupt. Supposedly. Or does Conan still have a full set of adult teeth, too big for his mouth? Or did de-aging give him back his baby teeth? Did he spit out all his adult teeth when he deaged? Did they un-erupt back into his jaws? What about when he sometimes reages? What about losing his baby teeth as he grows up again?
And while teeth is like. The most viscerally upsetting lasting change he experiences, there’s also just the brutality of the process of deaging. Conan/Shinichi describes it as it feeling like his “bones are melting” which is. Alarming to say the least. And this happens to him multiple times as he ages and deages. Does it scare him? As much as he wants to be 17 year old Shinichi Kudo again, does he fear the pain that comes with it? The loss of control?
A good portion of it is also the body dysmorphia of once being the size of a 17 year old, now the size of an eight year old. Misjudging jumps and strength due to muscle memory, out of body feelings of floating above himself because he should really be much taller, the feeling of wrongness and discomfort as he hears his own too-high voice when he speaks- and that’s only a few examples.
Plus, socially, I imagine it’s so frustrating that nobody takes you as seriously as they once did aside from the few who know his secret. One thing that’s really stood out to me as a running theme of dc is the powerlessness of childhood. Nobody listens to or respects what you have to say. You’re physically so much smaller than everyone else. Those episodes where Conan and the Junior Detective League go out on their own to solve a crime are the most stressful ones for me, because they’re all just a bunch of little kids trying to stop real crimes. The criminals are physically so much larger than them. Adults don’t consider what they have to say with the same level of severity as other adults. It must be so dehumanizing and terrifying.

ALLEN WALKER IS A CLONE
okay, i KNOW this sounds SO FUCKING CRAZY, but hear me out.
alright, are you listening? good. i think Allen Walker is a clone for several reasons; a) his Innocence, b) Neah and the Noah memories, and c) the Second and Third Exorcists.
Reason A:
so the one theory i've seen circulating in the DGM community is that this mysterious man that the fandom has apparently dubbed "Past Allen" was deaged into the Allen we know and love. who did this? we don't know. it could have been Crowned Clown, a random wizard, or Apocryphos.
BUT! it doesn't make sense. (then again, DGM hasn't been making much sense lately, so..)
we've seen how some of the Parasite Type Exorcists get their Innocence; Krory got bit by a man-eating flower that passed it to him and Timothy had his stuffed down his throat to hide the evidence. (which is actually kinda fucked up? how exactly did his dad think he was gonna get that out? even if his Innocence would have survived that, he didn't know that! what was his plan? cut his own son up or wait for it to be shat out? i..don't think it would have, considering..)
Allen originally tells us that he was apparently born with it, though he doesn't have anyone able/willing to back that up. HOWEVER! we see (i think it was in that recent mega flashback, when Allen was telling Kanda his past) that the ringleader of his former circus did actually receive him from people he thought were his bio parents. that suggests that they looked enough like him that the ringleader didn't think twice about it!
(...anyone else thinking of Past Allen? or maybe a sibling that was in on the whole scheme?)
why i bring this up is that this ALSO suggests that Allen really WAS born with Crowned Clown. the synchronization didn't happen at a later date, and i'm pretty sure Allen was a newborn. like, MAYBE a month old. the process probably would have killed him had it happened then. why i think it didn't when he was supposedly still in the womb? his body was still developing, so it probably wouldn't have known that THAT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN.
i mean, i'm not a biology nerd, but i'm pretty sure developing baby bodies don't really know what's right or wrong in the shape of the baby. like, they have instructions, but sometimes those manuals are wrong in some way and things like deformities or Down Syndrome happen. this is normal. Allen's still developing baby body probably thought this random Innocence shard was apart of it or something..
anyways, i don't know how it happened, but i do believe Allen is not Past Allen because of this. he was most likely born with it instead of deaging and picking it up somewhere along the way.
(Crowned Clown could have either snuck it's way inside Allen's container, or Past Allen purposefully put it in there. or maybe there's a secret third option i'm not thinking about.)
moving on!
Reason B:
@wearethehallowe brought up a very good point the other day; Neah's Noah memories did not exist prior to his separation of Mana.
we know that ever since the Great Flood, every human who has ever lived had dormant Noah memories in their DNA waiting to activate. this means that Past Allen should have had one of the original 13 Noah memories - not Neah's. they didn't exist by the time Past Allen was born.
so...how, exactly, did Neah pass his memories onto Past Allen?
he got Cross to help.
Cross is a necromancer. i don't know if he can manipulate souls like the Earl can, but he can definitely do things. (Grave of Maria and the reprogrammed Akuma.) he would totally be able to help pass Neah's memories onto Past Allen.
now, you might be thinking, "How does this tie into Clone!Allen?"
Neah's memories didn't exist beforehand, he had to manually put them into another person. that means Allen wouldn't have the memories in him if he was a normal human.
now, there IS a chance he actually is a normal human, and he just got the memories because Past Allen is his bio dad....
but..that doesn't really explain why he looks so similar to him. normally, a human child would look like a mixture of their parents, NOT an exact replica. yes, Allen currently does not look like him due to his hair and scar and arm, but had he not been cursed he would have looked like a twin of Past Allen's or something. i don't think that's normal in biology.
onto the next point!
Reason C:
ah, the Second and Third Exorcist projects.. you guys were NOT okay whatsoever, but you did prove something!
and that something is that artificial humans can be created and that at least ONE group knows how to make them!
now, it's pretty obvious that Allen isn't the same as Kanda or the Third Exorcists. Kanda has a weird orb in his body that keeps it together and regenerates/heals his injuries. the Third Exorcists can heal from their injuries, but can't regrow lost limbs like Kanda. Allen has not been shown to have that same ability that those with artificial bodies have - if you don't count his regenerating cursed eye and his slightly faster than average healing (i remember this being mentioned though i could be wrong).
HOWEVER! that does not mean he isn't artificial! it just means that, if he is a clone, whoever made him knew how to create artificial bodies right.
i think Cross was 100% in the dark about the cloning. jury is still out on Neah. his reaction to Allen's face that one time when he slammed Johnny's head into the wall could have been because he wasn't expecting the cloning to work or he truly didn't know about it. (or, the Deaging Theory.) either way, it definitely happened after his death.
Cross didn't recognize Red in Allen's retelling to Kanda and was pretty damn surprised when Timcanpy prevented him from killing Red. so, whoever did the cloning either didn't do it with magic or they learned enough magic/science to pull this off.
that just leaves one person who could have done this. Past Allen.
now, i remember seeing another theory about Past Allen being Bookman's previous apprentice before Lavi, so he could have learned something from him when he was a Bookman member. OR he learned the magic from Cross. either way, he was the one who did it.
why did he do it? i think it was supposed to be a back-up plan. Neah's back-up plan was passing his memories onto Past Allen in case he died. with the knowledge of how rare and important these memories are, Past Allen would be just as paranoid and would have a plan c in case anything happens to HIM before Neah could awaken. (he is literally one in a million! he needs to keep those memories safe at all costs!)
so Past Allen learned how to clone himself after Neah's death AND without Cross' knowledge, passed the torch onto Allen (possibly because he knew his time was coming and Neah was still not making any signs of life), sold him to the circus and dropped off the face of the earth. i believe he died shortly after Allen was handed off to the circus but i don't have an exact date. probably within the first few years of Allen's life.
i don't know how he died or if the Noahs were involved at all, but i HIGHLY doubt Mana knew about him/his death. it was most likely an accident/normal death or one of the newly awakened Noahs. i also believe the reason why he chose a CIRCUS to take care of him instead of an orphanage or something similar is because it was a traveling circus. less likely to be found by the Earl if he's constantly moving, you know?
anyways.
that..still leaves about 20 years between Neah's/most of the Noah Clan's deaths and Allen's "birth". i don't know what he was doing during this time, but he started making clones at some point. there might be multiple clones and Allen was just the lucky one. or, the only one to survive.
but there you have it! all the reasons i believe Allen Walker might be a clone!
(..i have a Mana theory if anyone's interested in hearing it..)

Forever off anonymous am I. Anyway, I noticed some of the folders have pictures in them, so I'm picking from those. Number 52 I am my mother's child (I'll love you till my breathing stops), or if someone has already asked for that, Number 26 and with every step forward put a little more sword in your heart. Please and thank you <3
The illuminated void welcomes thee ✨
The pictures are generally reference images; whenever I go, "surely I will remember this pose/art/post," I end up regretting it because my memory is kinda fickle.
And you get both! Especially because 52 is gonna be...something of an acquired taste.
26
Title: and every step forward put a little more sword in your heart (from “The Grey” by Bad Omens)
Ship: Nanami/Yuuji, Gojou/Yuuji (both endgame)
CWs: None, for once. Yuuji's over 18 in this.
Premise: Canon divergence where Shibuya doesn't happen because Gojou burned Getou's body (which is my go-to rationale for no-Shibuya AUs) and is considerably more fucked up because of it. The Tokyo trio live to graduate, they celebrate it, and Nanami spends the aftermath playing human handkerchief to an extremely drunk Yuuji, who's sobbing into his neck about his teacher being too pretty. Nanami takes him to his own place to sleep it off, they fuck it off instead, and Nanami's attempt to be all "this can never happen again" about it devolves into an FWB arrangement with absolute shit communication. Yuuji's still in love with Gojou; Gojou is oblivious until he really, really isn't. This is a three-part monster of an idea that will cover Nanami PoV, Yuuji PoV, and Gojou PoV, in that order, assuming I ever write it.
Inspiration: You know how Part 1 of the deaging series leans heavily into platonic Nanami&Yuuji. Well, I wound up liking their relationship so much that it stopped being platonic, leading to this idea. It was also the start of my descent into Yuuji multishipping hell. I've since discovered that nothing—absolutely nothing, no relationship dynamic—is safe from me if I'm invested enough; this will be relevant for #52.
52
Title: i am my mother's child (i'll love you till my breathing stops) (from “Writer in the Dark” by Lorde)
Ship: Kenjaku/Yuuji, Gojou/Yuuji (goyuu endgame)
CWs: Incest, underage, human experimentation, body horror, monsterfucking
Premise: Pre-canon where Kenjaku pays their favorite child a few in-person visits, finds that Yuuji's body is rejecting Sukuna's fingers, and lets their scientific curiosity run a little wilder than usual. The end result is a Yuuji who's more curse than human, nigh indestructible, has a few extra prehensile limbs, and is also furious at his "mother." Since Kenjaku's got important plans of chaos to execute and can't babysit their monsterfied kid, they put Yuuji to sleep, stash him away, and fuck off to arrange the Shibuya Incident (a few years delayed, probably). Gojou finds Yuuji while investigating unusual curse activity. Cue tentacle sex and Gojou acquiring a new "pet."
Inspiration: This was the collision of two separate urges. One, my interest in Kenjaku's connection to Yuuji growing to the point I wanted to write about it, except I can't write genfic to save my life. Two, my desire to write tentacle!goyuu that's not an AU. I've done that for MCU, and it's fun, but it's way more rewarding to find some way to work in freaky sex into canonverse. And Kenjaku is my go-to plot point when I need to put Yuuji through the horrors, but this time, I figured I'd make it a hell of a more hands-on. Two birds with one stone.
Thanks for asking 💝

Au were all the straw hats are deaged 10 years.
So
Chopper- 7
Luffy and usopp - 9
Nami - 10
Zoro and sanji - 11
Robin - 20
Franky - 26
Brook - 80
Jinbe - 36
They immediately split into factions--
Luffy's just a little on edge because he knows if he stays lost wherever he is for too long Ace will get worried, also he's pretty sure he was kidnapped
Usopp's freaking right out because he's certain he was kidnapped and so were all the other kids, but Luffy recognized who he was from his father and Luffy seems strong so he's sticking with Luffy
Chopper cannot speak human, he's had human intelligence for like a month and he's scared out of his mind because he can't find his heard and its really hot outside. He tries escaping into the woods but Luffy followed him and called him "My new friend so I'm not lonely while Ace is looking for me" but Luffy and Usopp seem harmless and everyone else Does Not so Chopper will stick with them.
Zoro ended up yelling at Usopp and then Luffy yelled at him and Jimbe scolded him so he doesn't have a faction he's pouting in the corner
Nami doesn't know Who kidnapped her or Why but she was in the middle of a scam and this detour could ruin her credibility, she's trying to cozy up to the adults so they'll trust her enough she can steal the boat or at least let her pay her own ransom (she doesn't have any money, but she's pretty sure she knows what adults that kidnap poor orphan children want and it's not money. Anything to get her her village back)
Sanji has been adopted by Robin because Sanji is Very stressed without not being around Zeff as much as he's hissing and spitting at the adults. Robin is nice to him though, so he stays pretty close to her at all times. Just until they find Zeff
Robin has figured out no one has any memory of getting here, she assumes something wiped part of their memories, she's still trying to figure out how many of the adults are responsible for all the children being away from their homes so she doesn't castrate the wrong person
Franky is sure he got kidnapped for his inventing ability Again and is waiting for Kokoro to come pick him up, he is kinda concerned about all the children but Kokoro's never turned away a child so he's sure they can just take the kiddos back to Water 7 with them until their guardians find them
Brook is sure this is one of his weirder hallucinations so is just singing until they go away, all the youngest children keep sitting around him which he isn't surprised by but it is a little cruel that that Usopp boy looks scared of him. Why would his hallucination not give him back his old body?
Jimbe is really confused but as the oldest (he's not sure about the skeleton) he feels it's his responsibility to get everyone back where they belong. Jimbe's still scrabbling to keep track of the sun pirates he can't afford this detour. He just hopes these children weren't being trafficked, but all things considered it makes the most sense

Deaged Oz AU - The Cardin Incident
For @maskyartist, this is what happens when Tip gets angry and doesn't have to protect others.
"Hey, kid!" A sneering voice echoed through the corridor. Tip sighed and resolved himself to just ignoring Cardin Winchester. Again. For some reason, the young man had decided that he made a good target, but it was better just to ignore bullies than to respond to them. Especially those like Cardin.
"You deaf as well as crippled?" Cardin asked, stalking closer to where Tip was walking, looming over the smaller figure in what he fondly hoped was menace.
Tip said nothing, just continuing to limp down the corridor. Hopefully he'd go away soon, it was late and he was really tired. It had been another long council meeting and he just wanted to go to bed. He couldn't quite suppress a yawn, which just seemed to enrage Cardin even more and... really? This young man was just a few short months short of graduating, surely he should have learned better by now?
"I said, are you deaf as well as crippled, you waste of space?" Cardn sneered out. "Why are you even here, do you really believe any academy would let something like you in? You're pathetic, just as bad as the Faunus trash! You should have fallen off the edge."
Tip couldn't quite suppress a flinch at that and Cardin's eyes lit up.
"What, scared to think about it? If I was there, I'd've dropped you over myself. You and all the other wastes that came in from Mantle." He reached out a hand and shoved Tip, hard. Tip let out a cry of shock as he impacted a wall, his aura flaring briefly to keep him from any real damage.
He levered himself back to his feet, turning wide, furious eyes on Cardin with a snarl. He had tried, had suppressed and suppressed and suppressed his anger, but he couldn't do it anymore. He suspected that, even as an adult, what Cardin stated might have pushed him over the brink of his rage, but as it was.
"THEY WERE MY FRIENDS!" He screamed at Cardin, face getting redder as he relaxed into the unfamiliar feeling. "Do you even know what a friend is?" In the haze, he only realised that he'd drawn his weapon after it was already in his hands, taking an automatically defensive position and glaring up at Cardin. If looks could kill...
"Aww, touched a nerve did I, little cripple? At least you can take a hit, so I'll try to leave enough of you left to mail home to your parents. Oh, that's right... you probably don't even have any."
Tip roared again and brandished The Long Memory, too, taking comfort in its weight in his other hand. Dual wielding wasn't his favorite means of fighting, however under the circumstances it felt oddly fitting and he hated to think what might happen if Cardin got his hands on the ancient weapon.
The fight would have been short and brutal, but a body inserted themselves between the pair, drawing Tip behind her. Tip blinked up at Velvet in surprise, he hadn't really expected to see her there, after all, team CFVY were mostly away on missions. The rage still bubbled just under his skin like his blood was actually boiling, so this was what it felt like to be this angry? He couldn't say he enjoyed the experience. He really, really needed to hit something right now but that something was definitely not going to be Miss Scarlatina. He shifted just enough to be in line with the wall he had impacted earlier and punched it. It didn't really make him feel any better.
"Aww, baby throwing a tantrum because the Faunus bitch had to swoop in and save you? Freaks should stick together, after all."
"What did you just say?" A dangerously quiet voice hissed from behind him as the edge of Coco Adel stalked into view. "What did you just say, Winchester?"
"And now you needed to ruin it too? I was just going to teach the little cripple a lesson, Adel. Why did you two have to ruin it?"
"I think that we'll be the ones teaching the lessons, Cardin. Bunny, can you look after the kid while I educate this piece of trash?" Not taking no for an answer, she grabbed Cardin by the arm and started to drag him outside, the boy protesting the entire way.
Velvet turned to Tip, looking concerned.
"I'm sorry about him. I'm Velvet by the way, I hope he didn't hurt you?"
"Nothing my aura couldn't handle." Tip said softly, trembling now as his anger drained away. "Thank you, Miss Scarlatina, though I could have handled myself. You didn't need to interfere."
"Two things, kid. One, you're a child, as a Huntress I'm supposed to protect those that can't defend themselves and Cardin is over a foot taller than you. And two... how do you know my surname?"
Tip flushed, not fully having realised that he'd slipped up.
"About that, I... I am not precisely a child."
"Wait, really?" Velvet looked him up and down for a second, one eyebrow raised. "You could have fooled me, kid. You're what, ten?"
"Twelve. Physically at least, I knew you before, though."
"Before what?" She looked suspicious, but there was something strange building in her eyes as she took another look at the boy.
"Before I was a child. I knew you at Beacon, you see."
"Beacon? But... wait. Are you implying that..."
"You knew me as Professor Ozpin, I'm afraid. Wintertip Pine as I currently am. Would it be possible to set up a meeting between myself and your team at some point? There are things we will need to discuss."
Velvet just stared as a visibly satisfied Coco returned. "Professor Goodwitch saw our fight. She's having... words... with Cardin now. I don't think it's likely to end well."
Tip winced slightly at that, since although Glynda was still very angry with him, he was aware that a cursory description of the boy Cardin was attempting to bully would be more than enough to identify him. He rather feared than Miss Adel may just have rather understated Cardin's position. Normally he'd feel bad about it, but... no. Not today.
Coco grinned over at Tip, looking a bit surprised that he was still there. "Oh, hey, kid. I'm so sorry about him, I promise he doesn't represent all of us, most hunters are really nice people. Are you here to visit family, or something?"
"Not precisely, no. Hello, Miss Adel." Coco blinked down at him, eyes landing on The Long Memory and narrowing in thought.
"Let me guess, you're Professor Ozpin and there was magic involved?" her voice was flat even as Tip gaped at her for a second in surprise.
"Well, yes. I was attempting to set up a meeting later..."
"Later. Not now, I don't think I could deal with this right now. Come on, Bunny. Uh, you have our contact details?"
"I do" Tip nodded, smiling back at her. "I will see you later, then, but yes, magic was involved."
"Uh huh, of course it was..." Coco and Velvet walked away, looking dazed as Tip let himself yawn again, noting just how badly he was trembling now. He had actually thrown a tantrum, hadn't he? he blushed, mortified. He wasn't actually a child, there had been no excuse for that at all. Ah well, best not to tell anyone about it. He glanced over at the wall he had punched and winced at the slight indentation from one small fist. Hopefully they'd think it was due to someone else?

So I'm in my group chat right and the idea of What if Moria and Charles raised baby Erik when he got deaged and Eric the red was like stopped in time and shit.
Now I'm picturing Erik being siblings with Rahne. Erik joining the new mutants and be in a Chaotic trio with Roberto and Magik.
While also dealing with the fact his old previous life is haunting him like a fucked up obi-wan kenobi.
Oh wow, that would have been really interesting! What kind of person is Erik without the trauma that defined his life? I wonder, would he still have the memories of the trauma somewhere in his mind? Erik definitely would have prevented Doug from getting killed, he could have trashed the Animator’s robots and thrown a shield over Rahne, easy.
But then, without an adult Magneto, who would have taken over the New Mutants when Xavier got taken into space with the Starjammers because he was dying? One of the X-Men? Would Cyclops have come back to train the kids and leave Maddie early? Or maybe Banshee could have come out of retirement and run the school with Moira, like a proto-Generation X.
Didn’t the rest of the Brotherhood that was with Erik at the time also get turned into babies, or am I miss remembering? What ever happened with that? Presumably they all got aged up somehow.
Blob like, “Everyone is talking about Erik! I got turned into a baby, too, you know!”

Let's hear about the Undertale AU!
I SHALL TALK ABOUT THE UNDERTALE AU
AND I HAVE OLD ART FROM IT TOO!!
It's still on ao3 lol, it's just there if ya'll wanna check it out.
It's called Big Brother, an AU where Chara (he/him in this au), after many genocide runs by the player, causes a strong glitch in the game with his emotions going wild.
He wakes up in an altered Undertale where he's alive, is 16 years old, (he's about 12 when he died) has a little sibling who's coincidentally enough, Frisk (they/them) who's deaged to be 8 years old instead of being 12 and apparently Asgore is what Toriel actually describes him as; ruthless, deadly, and determined to get his people free after the death of both Chara and Asriel.
Chara has memories of a life on the surface, a life that he knew he didn't have before. He remembers a woman, his suposed mother, and his father. He still has his heart locket, which instesd contained an image of him and Frisk when Frisk was still a baby.
Aa for the characters...
Toriel remained relatively the same, but she wore black/gray like she was eternally mourning the dead children and Flowey is nicer, he actually helps Chara and leads Toriel to them.
Another difference in thus AU is that Papyrus is the same age as Chara. He's way younger. Because of this, Sans is much more protective and so much lazy as his original counterpart, he became a sentry to protect Papyrus, the Royal guards actually wanted him to be one of them but he declined, not wanting to hurt children.
Undyne is not the head of the Royal Guard because Asgore isn't really that merciful in this AU, she's one of them, yes, but she's not the head because she refused to have the same ideals as the other trigger happy guards that want to kill every human that fell. She actually hesitated to kill one and got a scar from her superior because of it.
Alphys... Sweet sweet Alphys is insane in this AU. Very insane. She experimented on one of the fallen children, obsessed with finding out the secrets to DT and what makes human souls persist through death, far different from her nerdy og self.
Asgore is... Well... Ya know... Brutal.
There's additional characters here and there and the main protagonist being the player (who's a programmer) trying to figure out how Chara was suddenly in control of the story.
I HAVE SOME ART TOO!!!
But it's very old and in my old style which... Is... Ew but hey!! At least i have it!!

I should probably redesign them and redraw the last drawing

hello I have a very chaotic and open ended scenario for you:
imagine a scenario where Desmond gets the power to bounce around to different time periods at will after the solar flare. There might be a bit of a learning curve to it, but ultimately it's not a one way trip and he can direct where he goes. The only limitation is that he has to arrive somewhere with a direct ancestor nearby. He can hide from them once he's arrived if he wants, but they're sort of like his landing target, the thing that lets him actually travel and not just careen off into the infinite.
The problem: he doesn't know if the PoE letting him do this is broken in the weirdest possible way or if for some insane reason it was *made* to do this. But wherever he goes, the ancestor he uses as an anchor de-ages as long as he's there.
So say he randomly pops in on Brotherhood!Ezio? Congratulations, there is now a squalling baby in the middle of a pile of robes and armor and no one knows what the fuck just happened.
Eventually, Desmond figures out that--again, this is the weirdest fucking glitch or the Isu who made this is straight up evil--it's not exactly that his ancestor instantly Becomes Baby. It's that somehow Desmond is like, hooking into his Ancestor's presence in this time to also exist in this time, but something about Desmond being 25 when he touched the Eye, is maybe still touching the Eye? how does he know if he died, if he traveled, or if he's existing in multiple places, multiple states, at the same time?
Whatever the reasoning, Desmond and his anchor ancestor's combined age can never exceed 25yrs, 9 months and 8 days.
Which makes it kind of hard to 1) be incognito or 2) work WITH his ancestors in the past. Like sure he could split the difference, but they'd both be twelve, and that's next to useless. Five and twenty seem like the sort of optimal split inasmuch as five is at least old enough to communicate, but it's still just, insanely awkward. "Hi I'm here to warn you about the Borgia, sorry you're a toddler right now" or "Hi, I know I look like a child but actually I'm a descendant of yours from the future and--hey, put me down!"
Okay, so I’m going to assume that Desmond and his ancestors retain their memories and personalities up to that point even as they deage and it’s only their body’s limitation that hinders them. (for example: deaging AC2!Ezio to 8 will let him keep his memories of AC2 plot BUT not AC Brotherhood or Revelations)
But we need to remember:
Desmond’s ancestors are already menaces as teenagers.
Altaïr:
While Altaïr’s teenage years are a bit ‘???’ at the moment, he had been training as an Assassin since he was 11 so Desmond splitting 18-7 or even 16-9 with Altaïr would work physically. He’d be a bit young, sure, but a 7/9-year-old body is developed enough that he could talk without any problem and Altaïr’s teenage body would probably lack the muscles and maybe have a shorter stamina but Altaïr was built for speed, not brute force so he’d manage. He’d be looked at weirdly because he won’t act like a child or they’d think he’s a child trying to act like an adult but, you know what? Fuck them. Desmond has bigger fishes to think about.
So, really, the problem with Altaïr is where in his character development Desmond drops by. If this was before AC1, he’d have to deal with a confused Altaïr who may or may not believe him. If he dropped by during Altaïr’s Chronicles to before AC1 timeframe, he’d have to deal with an Altaïr who already has a huge ego and that makes things complicated. If it was during AC1, Desmond has to deal with an arrogant Altaïr who has something to prove and has a lot of repressed anger and guilt that, really, would only be aggravated by Desmond’s presence. So after AC1 would be his best bet and maybe even make his life a bit more easier by dropping in when Altaïr had ‘settled down’ in his role as the mentor. But then… that would be an Altaïr who will absolutely be curious about so many things concerning Desmond and how this time traveling thing works that Desmond would need to satisfy.
Ezio:
At 18-7, Ezio would be able to handle whatever Desmond throws at him since he had been shown as having a teenage body adept in freerunning at 18 anyway. Wherever Desmond dropped by, Ezio could probably take whatever weirdness this brings. Leonardo would probably ask to sketch them though.
Also…
Claudia and Machiavelli(Brotherhood)/Mario(AC2)/Yusuf(Revelations) would have to know what happened because they need allies who can help them and they’d stare at the deaged Desmond and deaged Ezio and would be like…
“Soooooo… Ezio’s gone out for a bit, something hush hush for the Brotherhood and all that, and these are Desmond and uuuhhh Ezio Junior.”
“JUNIO- (Desmond covers his mouth) muffledindignantshouting”
“They’re Ezio’s children from… different mothers and they’re staying here for now.”
Cue shenanigans of Ezio and Desmond being treated as Ezio’s own love children.
Bonus points if the rumors are Ezio (Junior) is the son of Cristina Vespucci while Desmond is the son of Rosa.
Ratonhnhaké:ton:
This is the one where Desmond found a certain loophole.
Because the limitation is always Desmond and his anchor ancestor's combined age can never exceed 25yrs, 9 months and 8 days, that means any combination of the two ages is possible.
So say…
Desmond was to have a 7-18 ratio with Ratonhnhaké:ton on…
November 2, 1760…
The day Charles Lee came to the village.
So, in this scenario, the child that Charles Lee tried to beat up suddenly becomes even younger and there’s suddenly a teenager that seemed to have split off from the child, everyone would be surprised.
Desmond’s 18-year-old body isn’t that great, yeah, but he’s still fit enough to take Charles Lee and his men out thanks to the skills and techniques he learned from the Bleeding Effect. By the end of it, he manages to save the village before it could be burned and no one has to know.
Except for Ratonhnhaké:ton who stares at Desmond with wide eyes and loses consciousness soon after.
And that’s how Ratonhnhaké:ton starts to believe there is another person inside him.
So the next time Desmond pops into Ratonhnhaké:ton’s timeline, Desmond is utterly confused to why Ratonhnhaké:ton believes he is another part of him, a spirit that guards him and that this whole ‘deaging’ thing is because Ratonhnhaké:ton’s mortal body cannot contain Desmond’s spirit.
You know what?
Yeah.
Desmond would go with that explanation.
Screw it.

sorry. gonna talk about both the kenobi show and the irishman in this post SORRY anyway okay so one of my favorite irishman takes is someone saying the sometimes kinda clunky weird looking deaging cgi down on de niro and co for the parts of the film decades apart doesn't really bother them anymore because they intrepret it as like. as he tells the story of his life, frank's perception of himself (and some of the others around him) gets clouded by the man he becomes, and how now he is old and even when he is talking about being young, he is still old. so like the malleable nature of memory means the depiction of his younger self is influenced by all the life he, as the storyteller and rememberer, knows he has lived, and in essence he is Reliving those memories and his age shows in that reliving. which is like. sick. love that. love that perspective. the clunky cgi doesn't bother me in that case through that lens.
and it occured to me like. in ep 5 when vader is doing his own remembering of training with obi-wan pre aotc, and he's supposed to be 18 or 19 and obi-wan is like 35, but irl hayden and ewan both have wrinkles on their faces that appear even through the special effects and whatnot.
what if like i take that as vader's memory being fallible and weak (read here: communicating something to him he doesn't want to admit) and like he's imagining lines on his face where there never have been any (and can not be, not like that), he's imagining signs of age and time passing evident on them, examples of their individual growth that he would have seen, would have bore witness to the changes of his own face in the mirror over time (and how those lines would have been indicative of being a husband and father and perhaps even a full blown jedi master and the stresses and joys of his life would have been apparent in scars and laugh lines etc etc), and his best friend's across from him in practice spars for years and years, and where there should be New experiences of two men aging in parallel lines there are only his memories, all of them getting Older by the second (and so are they but not together!), and the sad conclusion at the end of reminiscence, so that annoying desire to have gotten older as anakin is matched with a memory and he can't tear the two apart

You Send Me (Honest You Do) / firethesound
(37k // E// Potions Accident // DeAging)
Summary: As far as potion accidents go in general, and deaging incidents go in particular, Draco knew this could have been so much worse. Harry only lost about ten years, and all his memories are still intact. But the sight of him looking as if he’s stepped straight out of Draco’s Hogwarts memories has dredged up a whole mess of complicated feelings Draco thought he’d buried years ago, and Draco really doesn’t know what to do with any of it.
Why I loved it: well @firethesound is probably one of my favorite fandom authors, but there is something special about this one! Harry is de-aged from a potions accident, and it sends Draco into a tizzy. It’s one of those fics that both makes you laugh out loud, but also makes you grip your heart because of how tender it is. It’s told entirely from Draco’s POV as well, and it just gives it this deep and meaning energy to the fic, because you feel Draco’s emotions so plainly.
I also love that they are a bit older. Long enough for the terrors of the War to have ebbed and for them to have slotted into each other’s lives as both friends and Auror Partners. Draco is even friends with Ron 😂
This was written for @gameofdrarry Wizard Hearts 2022
