Like everyone, the NY Tech Alliance is closely monitoring both the local and global situations regarding COVID-19. We have decided in the name of caution and safety to suspend all of our in-person events for the time being. Stay tuned for updates regarding virtual events and other online programming supporting our amazing community.  
We ask that you all do your part to stay in good health. Use information from reliable and verified sources only. Stay cautious, but do not panic, and remember that we each play a role in making this incredible tech ecosystem the best in the world!

NYPD’s bomb squad was on the scene and site visitors was closed across the Midtown transit hub after 11:24 a.m. on May 30, Memorial Day, in keeping with officers. Police deemed the package deal “non-hazardous,” round 1:15 p.m., in keeping with a Department spokesperson, although the rep didn’t elaborate what the machine was.  The MTA suspended subway 7 practice service between Manhattan and Queens for the investigation, with trains in Queens turning round at Queensboro Plaza and Manhattan trains being held in stations at 34 Streed-Hudson Yards‌ and ‌42 Street-Bryant Park‌. Update: 7 service is briefly suspended between Manhattan and Queens whereas NYPD conducts an investigation. Manhattan-bound ‌7‌ trains will flip round at ‌Queensboro Plaza‌.
