growing up autistic and aspec for me was being really bad at noticing innuendos and allusions in songs to the point where I'd look up lyrics and worry I'd miss something when putting things on playlists that would give people horrible harmful mental images using romantic songs in sibling playlists and never sharing my fanmixes in large part because of that terror

growing up and adjusting better is me not bothering to take songs off sibling playlists if ik they were originally intended as romantic but there's nothing that screams to me as inherently so in the songs and I like them for those characters
