Quincy is house sitting for the Grand Sorcerer over the holidays while they go on vacation. He hopes this good deed will grant him some time alone, but it turns out Blade did not go with the rest of the group, leaving the two clan members to spend the holidays together.

In the end, this is how the list ends up being the not-very-secret topic of conversation. Blade hasn’t quite managed the art of confidentiality, and Garu didn’t make him promise, therefore by the end of the following day, every person on the list is aware of where they sit.

Eiden’s made a list (and probably checked it twice), deciding which clan members (and familiars) are naughty or nice. Everyone has a theory about what it all means. In the end, Quincy is more than happy to fill both roles as long as Eiden’s willing to join him.

Eiden is coming up in thirteen years old and he's been living at the orphanage for as long as he can remember. Every year during the holidays they visit a shrine. It's a big shrine where they make their wishes each year but Eiden's wishes are never granted. When Eiden encounters Kuya, the weird kind of sleazy owner of the shrine, their lives both change in strange ways.
