Longstuffing is ....The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Matthew 24:13
The Lord is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation. Numbers 14:18.

Numbers 14:33-35 Link: bible-illustrated.blogspot.com/2019/03/Nm1433.html And your sons shall be shepherds in the wilderness forty years, and bear the brunt of your infidelity, until your carcasses are consumed in the wilderness. According to the number of the days in which you spied out the land, forty days, for each day you shall bear your guilt one year, namely forty years, and you shall know My rejection. I the Lord have spoken this. I will surely do so to all this evil congregation who are gathered together against Me. In this wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die.’” This illustration was made possible thanks to the generous donation of an anonymous Orthodox priest; consider pledging at: www.patreon.com/BibleIllustrated

True Worship
Moses and Aaron would fall on the faces in prayer to the Lord in their times of trouble. They humbled themselves before their Maker. Such as when they were about the be stoned by the Israelites, who rebelled and spoke against God.
“Then Moses and Aaron fell facedown in front of the whole Israelite assembly gathered there. Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had explored the land, tore their clothes and said to the entire Israelite assembly, ‘The land we passed through and explored is exceedingly good. If the Lord is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us. Only do not rebel against the Lord. And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will devour them. Their protection is gone, but the Lord is with us. Do not be afraid of them.’” (Numbers 14:5-9)
They’d turn to Him and seek Him in a way that demonstrated their fear of the Lord and awe-inspired reverence towards Him. A form of true worship and prayer.
Our God is a great God and the ONLY God.
He meets our every need. He never leaves us in trouble. He always comes to our rescue.
So when we come before Him and pray like Aaron and Moses and repent from our wrongs, God who is slow to anger and abounding in love will forgive us.
“And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, ‘The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.’” (Exodus 34:6-7)
“Now may the Lord’s strength be displayed, just as you have declared: ‘The Lord is slow to anger, abounding in love and forgiving sin and rebellion. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.’” (Numbers 14:17-18)
The Israelites had again rebelled against God and even wanted a new leader; God was going to punish the people....
“The Lord said to Moses and Aaron: ‘How long will this wicked community grumble against me? I have heard the complaints of these grumbling Israelites. So tell them, ‘As surely as I live, declares the Lord, I will do to you the very thing I heard you say: In this wilderness your bodies will fall—every one of you twenty years old or more who was counted in the census and who has grumbled against me.’” (Numbers 14:26-29)
But Moses prayed for their forgiveness...
“Now may the Lord’s strength be displayed, just as you have declared: 18 ‘The Lord is slow to anger, abounding in love and forgiving sin and rebellion. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.’ 19 In accordance with your great love, forgive the sin of these people, just as you have pardoned them from the time they left Egypt until now. The Lord replied, “I have forgiven them, as you asked.” (Numbers 14:17-20)

God will use people and situations to posture you in the position of prayer, praise, and a deeper pursuit of Him. Don't just see trial and tribulation as is. Delve deeper, and truly see God's hand leading you to the posture He needs you to be in so that you can survive the realm in which your promise and your next resides. : : : #whenenemiespostureyou #praise #prayer #thanksgiving #worship #seeithowGodseesit #pursuit #pursueHim #goafterGod #chase #Godisincontrol #Author #Finisher #divineOrchestator #sovereign #sovereignty #seek #deeper #truth #numbers14 #joshua #caleb #different #believe #tookGodatHisword #taylurwithau #thescribesheart #instagood #instadaily #igers

Goodmorning🇹🇿🇬🇧🌏#cupoftea☕️israel Refuses to Enter Canaan 1 So all the congregation lifted up their voices and cried, and the people wept that night. 2 And all the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron, and the whole congregation said to them, “If only we had died in the land of Egypt! Or if only we had died in this wilderness! 3 Why has the LORD brought us to this land to fall by the sword, that our wives and children should become victims? Would it not be better for us to return to Egypt?” 4 So they said to one another, “Let us select a leader and return to Egypt.” 5 Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Israel. 6 But Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had spied out the land, tore their clothes; 7 and they spoke to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying: “The land we passed through to spy out is an exceedingly good land. 8 If the LORD delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us, ‘a land which flows with milk and honey.’ 9 Only do not rebel against the LORD, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the LORD is with us. Do not fear them.” 10 And all the congregation said to stone them with stones. Now the glory of the LORD appeared in the tabernacle of meeting before all the children of Israel. 11 Then the LORD said to Moses: “How long will these people reject Me? And how long will they not believe Me, with all the signs which I have performed among them? 12 I will strike them with the pestilence and disinherit them, and I will make of you a nation greater and mightier than they.” 13 And Moses said to the LORD: “Then the Egyptians will hear it, for by Your might You brought these people up from among them, 14 and they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land. They have heard that You, LORD, are among these people; that You, LORD, are seen face to face and Your cloud stands above them, and You go before them in a pillar of cloud...#Numbers14;1-45#PraisetheLord#wordoftheday#WordofGod#beblessed#lifestyleblogger#RachelSiwa🙏🏽❤️☕️
