The running tap water feels so cold against your fingertips. The make-up they put on you looked so magical as you stared at your damp face in the bathroom mirror. Why is your lipstick still intact if you already wet your face? And why is the water so cold if this is all just a dream?
Unconsciously, you pulled the jacket covering your bare shoulders. A reminder that what happened outside the halls is real. But how much of it was real? Did Yuta really confirm his feelings?
“I don’t want her in danger so I try to push her away but I also want to hold her in my arms and never let go.”
“I want to kiss her but at the same time, I want to see her face.”
“...I felt that when I met you.”
Yuta’s words kept on repeating inside your head. This is all too much. You’re freaking out.
No. None of this was real. It might be a dream. A fairytale-like dream. Maybe you were thinking so much about his feeling that your head started creating scenarios for your own sanity. Yes. That is probably right. This was all on you.
You were drying your face with a paper towel when the door opened and in came the hostess of the party. She already looked so beautiful when you first saw her in the store and although something evil is in her smile, you can’t help but gush at how classy she still looks. “You’re Johnny Seo’s date, right?” Oh yeah. You went here as Johnny's date. “From what mafia family are you, Y/N?”
A confused look was all you can give her but she already apologized while putting on some gloss on her lips. “I thought you were from one. You seemed close with Yuta.” The mention of his name made you wary. You only heard about what Yuta feels about the girl. You don’t know what Kyoko feels about him. And if you remembered clearly, Lexi mentioned a proposal. Are they that serious about each other? “I hope you’re not two-timing them.”
What? Two-timing? “Yuta is a well-respected man and I understand that little flies…" she glanced at you from the mirror. "would want his attention. I care about him and I don’t want him hurt…”
“Then why did you choose to marry an old man instead of him?” The sentence came out even before you could think of it. You bit your tongue to prevent yourself from saying more. Why are you meddling in their own business?
Kyoko stepped forward, smirking. “Shall I tell you something, Y/N?” The smile on her lips is sinister. “I don’t need to choose a person I own. If you think Yuta likes you just because he saved you once, I’ll assure you that Yuta will always choose me.” Not only is her smile that cynical, but her personality is also that. How can she think of that when all Yuta does is love her?
Maybe you really are a masochist. “You don’t own Yuta. He’s his own person.” Why are you defending Yuta in front of the woman he loved?
Loved. Because everything that happened earlier is real. Yuta doesn’t love Kyoko anymore. He realized what love is when he met you. And if everything isn’t real, Yuta wouldn’t even know about this. You pulled his jacket closer, your courage lies on the remaining scent on his coat. “And Yuta doesn’t just like me.” You exclaimed, a mischievous smile playing on your lips, “He loves me.”
Her eyebrow raised, a chuckle escaping her red glossy lips. “You and he don't belong to the same world. How shameless of you to think that he's in love with you? He hasn't moved on from me,” she scoffed. “A guy in a high status as Yuta will never be attracted to a low-life like you.”
It now made sense. You and Yuta are not the two sides of the coin. You’re from different worlds but not opposite worlds. Like the poles of the magnet. “Polarity.” You claimed as a matter of fact, “Opposite attracts and same poles repel.” That was a stupid statement but it was the only thing making sense in your head. “I honestly don’t care if Yuta chooses you. If he hasn't moved on from you." You must really be a masochist. "But I will always choose Yuta. A thing you didn't do.”
Her hand went in contact with your hair, roughly tugging the ponytail that made you yelp in pain. For a classy woman, she has such a bad temper and a firm grip. “Yuta is mine.” She exclaimed but you only smiled, hissing through the pain of your hair getting pulled by her. You don't want to hurt her. She's needed for this party. “He only cares about me. He only loves me. He only needs me.” Is she some kind of a crazy woman? “He’s crazy about me.”
You laughed wholeheartedly. “Yuta is crazy about fighting.” Why are you even taunting her? Maybe you are the crazy one.
A voice from outside startled you both. Yuta. Calling for your name. Before the restroom door opened, the woman in front of you sat to the ground which startled you. What is she doing? The mafia boss looked puzzled when he came inside as the woman in front of you reached up a hand for him. “Yuta, she just pushed me to the ground.” Wow, you thought, she really is crazy in the head. “She…”
To your surprise, Yuta just faced you. Face stoic as if angry at something. “What is the number one rule of the Nakamoto group?”
You knew that. The first sentence you heard from him. A bittersweet first meeting. You gulped before answering. He's mad. "Never hurt a woman."
From the corner of your eye, you saw how Kyoko smiled in triumph. Yuta smiled, surprising you. “I guess I’ll have to punish you when we get home.” The smile on the other woman’s face was replaced with a look of surprise. You can't blame her. You were feeling the same. Punish you? Yuta held your hand and faced Kyoko, “We’ll excuse ourselves. Thank you for the invitation and the amazing food, Kyoko.”
She called for his name but he was quick on his steps to leave the same room as the other girl. Kyoko looked pitiful looking at the two of you. She's on the floor. Her dress will go to waste and get ruined. She's the hostess of the party and if someone were to see her seated on the bathroom floor, it would be embarrassing. Yuta should have helped her stand up.
Yes, you are a masochist.
But that is not your problem now for Yuta’s hold on you was so strong that you started to assume that he was still angry. Is he mad because he thinks you hurt Kyoko? You should have just run away when she said that crazy stuff. That’s what you’re good at. Why would you even talk back to her and pretend to be confident when you're not?
Maybe what she said was true. Even if Yuta likes you, he will always choose her.
You haven’t seen Johnny in the crowd even if you passed the hall. All the faces were blurry as your eyes started heating up, tears threatening to fall.
In the end, Yuta still confused you.
In the end, Yuta still cares about her.
In the end, Yuta is still in love with her.
Not with you.
The way to the parking space was quiet, everyone might still be at the party. He opened the backseat of a familiar car, pushed you inside, and closed the door behind him. If you thought your chest might explode earlier, it is worse now. Your heart kept on beating in your chest in nervousness, eyes forming tears. “Yuta, I didn’t hurt her.” You started but were cut off by his lips on yours.
It was exactly like the first time you kissed: the feel of his soft lips, the smell of his musky scent, and the warmth of his tongue slipping between your lips. The way your heart kept beating crazily in your chest, your body heating up as if you were getting a fever, and your lungs gasping for air reminding you of that first time. It felt like a nostalgic fever dream.
His strong arms pulled you close, sweeping you off your feet so that you were almost seated on his lap. "I know," Yuta mumbled before kissing you again. It was like the second time you kissed but this time, you weren't drunk on alcohol but the scent of him. Unlike the first one, this was shorter but breathtaking.
You can feel his warmth. You can smell him. You can touch him. Yuta is real.
He isn't just your imagination anymore.
The tears sprung from your eyes and his reaction changed quickly. "What's wrong?" He asked in panic, staring at you with a lot of worry in his eyes. "Did I hurt you?"
You shook your head, hastily rubbing your eyes. You didn't know why you were crying but everything was just overwhelming you. You've only considered the possibility of Yuta liking you but you don't know how to react now that you confirm his feelings. You don't know him that well to know if he's serious about you. He moved on from his first love, are you sure that he wouldn't move on from you?
This is scary.
"Y/N," the way he called your name, all throaty and breathless made you gasp. "Say it again." Yuta trailed butterfly kisses on your neck. "Say that you'll choose me."
Wait. "You heard that?"
A light chuckle can be heard from him. "Everything." Your eyes widened in surprise. You feel so embarrassed now. Yuta heard all the crazy things you said to his first love? "I'm not just crazy about fighting," he started, fingers rhythmically tapping your waist. "I'm crazy about you." This is more breathless than the kiss you shared earlier. "I didn't know when it started but you're all I could ever think about." The same as you.
He rubbed the tears away from your cheeks with his thumbs. "I thought it was a sexual attraction at first. You look so pretty with the nightclub lights. I started wanting you." His words were hushed like a secret he wanted to share. "Then I saw you looking so pale in the amusement park,'' That was when Momo was almost kidnapped, right? It feels so long ago. "I thought I'm going to go crazy. If you didn't live back then, I might have killed myself."
"Then is it true that you broke down when I woke up?"
He smiled. A million-dollar smile that is always attractive in your eyes. Happiness indeed looks good on him. "Who told you that? Sophie?" You nodded. "I was relieved that you woke up but I was so scared that I might put you in danger like that again." Yuta was scared? You made the mafia boss scared? This is making your head ache. "I was scared that for you to be safe, I should not see you anymore." His hold on your waist became tighter. "I won't force you to stay with me, I can't promise you that you'll be safe with me. But if you stay, I’ll protect you until my last breath.”
The danger of being in love with a mafia boss came to you like a wave. He'll be in lots of danger and that means, you will be too.
But this is Yuta.
And you want to be with him. You want to stay with him. "I'll always choose you, Yuta."
"I love the way you say my name."
Your eyebrow raised at that. "I always call you by your name."
He shook his head, chuckling. "The first time you said my name was in the hospital and then the night you were drunk." You did? But you have always been calling him Yuta Nakamoto. He smiled timidly, "Why do you think I can't resist kissing you those two times?" Just because you called his name? Why haven't you realized that? Is this some kind of a fetish? Then Yuta might really be weird.
A giggle escaped your lips, "Yuta." You called in a teasing manner. "Yu~ta~" You said in a sing-song voice.
He lightly poked your waist before nuzzling his head on your neck. "Fuck." Yuta cursed in a soft voice, his breath warm against your neck. "I want you so bad." Your eyes widened in surprise. Did you hear him correctly? "You look extra beautiful today. I hate that Johnny was the first person to see you like this."
Does it bug him that much? But Johnny is the one who brought you here tonight. “Speaking of which, I have to tell Johnny that I’m with you.”
He pulled you closer, removing his coat to reveal your shoulders and nuzzled his head to the exposed skin. His lips were soft as he placed butterfly kisses along your shoulder blade. “I’m holding you yet you’re talking about another guy.” He kissed the spot between your shoulder and neck, making you moan. “That’s just unfair, Y/N.”
Yuta stared at you. His brown eyes locked you in his warm gaze. “You’re like a magnet pulling me in. Am I the only one feeling this?” Magnet? He really did hear you earlier.
“No,” You whispered, holding his cheeks before giving him a quick kiss on the lips. “I also want you.” Then another quick kiss on the lips. “I’m crazy for you.” Another one, except this time it’s longer. “I will always choose you, Yuta.”
If you thought you were close to each other in the cramped backseat, you’re dead wrong about that. You were surprised that he managed to pull you closer that your bodies were almost melting at each other. He kissed you with more passion, a steamier kiss than the other kisses you shared. His hands rest on your waist and you were the one who moved them to touch you. Your fingers thread in his silky smooth hair, the other hand clawing his shoulder as his lips came in contact with the side of your neck. Your lips whisper moans against his ear. You want him. So bad.
You lightly grind on him but Yuta only pulled you away from him as if you’re in fire. Wait. Does he not like that? Did you do something wrong? He was breathless, lips already looking swollen from all the kissing, and his face was flushed. “We can’t do it here and I can’t wait that long to head home. Can I take you to my apartment?”
You've never said yes that quickly. Are you even that desperate for him? Instead of Mark who you always see driving a car, another man was driving you on the highway. Yuta's hand just rests on your thigh, his gaze outside the window. Your hands felt sweaty at the possibility that your first time will happen tonight. You should call Sophie and ask her if the intense beating of your heart is normal.
Your phone. You left it in Johnny's car. You have nothing on you right now.
There's no one to help you now but yourself.
The huge building startled you. When Yuta mentioned an apartment, you didn't expect it to be in the highest building in the city. You've only seen this luxurious building in magazines and knew that a room here would cost millions. Does this mean Yuta is not just rich but super rich? Should you reconsider the relationship you and he have? "Are you alright?" He asked and you smiled, nodding at him.
You are not alright. You're freaking out.
You were astonished when you both entered a glass elevator with gold embellishments. It looks so classy. Are the elevators here like this? But your eyes widened seeing him take out a gold card with the building's logo in front and the word 'penthouse' on the bottom. Penthouse? Isn't that the highest room in the building?
The glass allowed you to see the streets from below. The cars looked so small and the lights shone so bright as the elevator reached the top floor. If you weren't so distracted by Yuta's giggle at your awe-struck exclamations, you might think that you're already reaching the sky at how high you were. A feeling that perfectly describes you now.
"You can say no if you don't want to do this, Y/N," Yuta claimed as the elevator doors opened and a huge receiving area welcomed you. The smell of lemon and his musky perfume filled the air. "I can wait."
You can't. You've waited long enough. You're both already here. "I want to do this."
His lips were soft and warm but his kisses were rough against yours. You giggled when he grunted, complaining at how far the room is from the receiving area. Your eyes feast on the huge bed in the middle of the overly clean bedroom. "This room is bigger than our house." His hands wrapped around your waist, hugging you from behind. "Momo could have her own dollhouse here."
Yuta kissed your exposed shoulder. "She doesn't know this penthouse exists." His kisses went north. "No one knows." He kissed the side of your neck. "You're the only one I ever brought here."
Your heartbeat started ringing in your ears and with how close Yuta is, you're sure he can hear you. Is this feeling even normal? Shouldn't this be considered a near-death experience?  Or is it because you are nervous? "Yuta," you called turning around to face him. Your hands held on his shoulders as if grabbing for courage. It's funny how all your courage is dependent on Yuta tonight. "I don't know how this works. You are my first..." You gauge for the right word to use. "...everything. I'm scared and I don't want to disappoint you."
A smile played on his lips and you only felt your heart stammer much harder. This isn't just nervousness anymore. You like this man. You love seeing him smile while looking at you with a lot of warmth in his eyes.
Like is an understatement.
You love this man. You're in love with Yuta Nakamoto.
"If it helps, I'm also nervous." But he doesn't even look nervous at all. "You are my first and I don't want to disappoint you."
"You and Kyoko never did it? Even Lexi?"
"What do you take me for?" But he's an SVIP in the club. It's not impossible that he has some practice. Right? "You're talking too much. Right now, all I want is my name coming out of your lips." Your face started heating up when he placed his thumb on your bottom lip. "You're very pretty, Y/N." A gasp escaped your lips. "My Y/N."
It was a feeling you knew you don't want to stop. Your heart stammered in your chest in the loudest way possible. "My Y/N," He repeated, lips nuzzling on the side of your neck as he traced circles on your back. The spot he kissed felt so hot and you bit your lip to prevent a sound to escape your lips. He licked a spot on your neck before sucking on it which made you moan. "Fuck, I need you."
His cursing doesn't help for it became the last straw for your insanity. You quickly unbuttoned his black dress shirt, slowly revealing skin that you failed to see clearly before. Your fingers traced the intricate tattoo on his chest down to his abdomen. You've seen him shirtless before, that night when you both had tea in his house, and you remembered marveling at his lean body. Who would have thought that you'll get a chance to touch him? Maybe that's why your fingers are shaking now.
You were so drunk with Yuta's scent and the warmth of his skin that you didn't even notice his fingers undoing the zipper on the back of your dress. The air felt cold when the fabric fell on the floor but Yuta's eyes on you were so warm that your body formed goosebumps. Your breasts were now in full view since the stylist asked you not to wear any bra with the dress. "You can stop me if you feel uncomfortable." He claimed and you nodded. "God damn, you're very beautiful."
Yuta gently pushed you to bed, your dress completely forgotten on the floor. His mouth went from your lips south to your neck then to the exposed skin above your breasts. You don't have those huge mounds like Sophie's but you feel like they're pretty decent and Yuta doesn't have any complaints. His lips moved to the right breast as a breathy moan escaped your lips, his other hand playing with the other breast. This is too much for you to handle. His lips is just so good. When he took the hardened nipple in his mouth, playing it with his tongue, you tugged his hair. It didn't stop him though and just kept on licking your nipple, even moving to the other one.
Fuck. You wanted to curse out loud but the words can't come out your lips, only explicit sounds. Your stomach was churning, your abdomen suddenly feeling full as if you wanted to pee. "Yuta," you called as he started kissing your stomach. "Yuta." You moaned just as liquid started oozing from your core. Is your period starting again? Or is it that good that you wet the bed? But it feels completely different. Satisfying. Pleasurable.
The mafia boss only chuckled at the mess you made and you hide your face in embarrassment. "Let me do it again," Your eyes widened in surprise. He's going to do what again? Making you wet the bed? Making you pee on yourself?
Yuta kissed the inside of your thigh before pulling down your wet underwear. Wait, you wanted to revolt, what is he doing? Why is his face so near your... You screamed when his tongue darted out to give your core a lick. God, what is Yuta doing? And why does it feel so good? "You taste so good." You were surprised. But that is disgusting. You just peed and he was licking your wet vagina now? Yet, you can only moan at how amazing it feels.
For the second time, you came and Yuta sucked all the liquid you just released. Is sex this dirty? Isn't he disgusted that you peed in his face? "God, you are so sexy." He exclaimed while hovering above you. His fingers caressed your inner thigh before reaching your throbbing core. "You're so wet." He whispered, "Can you still go for another round?"
Another round? Another of this amazing experience? You nodded before you could even think of it. "Can you take two fingers?" Two fingers? In your core? You don't know but you wanted to know.
A gasp escaped your lips when he inserted his forefinger. You've never tried touching yourself before and the closer you ever reached with the sexual experience is your wet dreams of Yuta. Wet dreams that are now a reality. You grabbed his arm when he inserted another finger, moving them inside you. This is such a foreign experience. An experience you never thought would happen especially with Yuta.
A scream of his name resonated in the room when he hit something inside you. Your lungs felt out of breath, eyes only seeing light, as your body shivered on yet another oozing of liquid from your core. Wait, you heard this before. Sophie shared this experience before. Is this the orgasm she had been talking about?
Your body was still shaking when Yuta pulled out his fingers from inside you. "Are you alright?" And he had the nerve to ask that? After messing you up like this? "Let's get you cleaned up." Yuta stood up then opened one of the cabinets in the room, taking a white towel. Wait. You're already done? But he didn't even remove his pants.
"Should I do something for you?" From your vision, you can see the huge bulge in the front of his pants.
Yuta smiled then shook his head. "I'll take care of this." Sophie said that it will be painful for men to have a hard-on. You should at least do something and repay the pleasure he gave you. "What matters is making you feel good so don't worry about it." He wiped your thighs with the towel then kissed the side of your neck just below your jaw. "I think I pushed you too hard."
He didn't. But you don't have the energy to tell him that. Are you that tired already? "Stay with me tonight?" You nodded and even that felt like a huge task. If you're going to do this again with Yuta, you had to build some stamina.
Yuta lay down beside you, "I can't believe you will be the last person I'll see tonight and the first person I'll see tomorrow morning."  He wrapped you in his arms, back facing him. "This must be a dream." He whispered against your ear which sent shivers down your spine. "I don't deserve to be this happy."
You turned your body so that you were now facing him, smiling warmly. You touched his chest, leaning in to kiss him on the lips. A reminder that he isn't just a dream. An assurance that when you wake up in the morning, you will still be in each other's arms. He pulled you close, placing his lips on you before slipping his tongue and sucking your bottom lip.
Yuta was catching his breath when he let go of the kiss and his soft voice whispered,
"I love you, Y/N."

Five Senses: Part 1
Chapter One
Tumblr media
Yuta couldn't take it anymore. He needed to find his soulmate, his lifelong partner. No it wasn't for anything romantic, at least not for vampires, especially when you're a royalty. He's waited so long, but not once has he felt anyone was the right person, and by now was sick and tired of holding parties to meet more people.
Right now he laid in his bed groaning into his pillow in pain. If he didn't find his soulmate soon, his health would deteriorate even more, and he'd be the first royalty to actually die. His half brother stood aside shaking his head, earning a light smack from his own partner, now his beloved wife, who mind spoke to him.
Talk to him!
How? What's there left to do?
Idiot!
Hey! You married this idiot.
Sadly yes.
Taeyong pouted as his wife looked at him mad, then sat next to Yuta herself and tapped his shoulder.
"Yuta, take the medicine for now." she spoke softly. She was always kind, not just to him but everyone. She tugged him to get up and take the medicine the doctor claimed would at least keep him painless, but everyone knew it wouldn't save him.
And so he gave up. "What's the point Seulgi? I might as well be in pain. At least it'll take my mind off the fact that I'm dying."
Taeyong groaned hearing him and smacked his butt. "Stop saying that already! You're not going to die. You'll find someone, I promise."
Yuta got up and stared at him angrily. "IT'S EASY FOR YOU TO SAY!" he yelled, groaning again when his body hurt even more. Seulgi quickly got his medicine and forced him to take it before letting him collapse into his bed again.
"Listen Yuta." she spoke. "I know for a fact that you will not die, at least not before meeting your soulmate. You know I grew up with humans, and if there's one thing I learned from them is that no one dies unloved."
Seulgi wasn't a regular vampire. Her father was killed during a clan war, so her mother moved to live out of the clan to raise her more normally, and she loved it. The way she met Taeyong was something humans would call fate, as the two accidentally held hands in a club and both their five senses worked, the slight pain they had gone.
"It doesn't matter Seulgi..."
"Yes it does. Look, all you've done is stay inside the grounds and had parties to see people. In my opinion, it's time you go outside and explore."
Yuta groans again, this time Taeyong leaves getting annoyed by his stubbornness. Seulgi rolls her eyes at the two, then turns back to Yuta cocking her eyebrow.
"Well if you won't do it, I will."
The next thing he knew, Yuta was standing in the middle of a playground. His eyes widened as he took in the surroundings of children running around while adults walked or sat on the benches chatting.
I'll kill you for this Seulgi!
Well at least I'll die knowing I helped out!
Ugh!
Giving up, Yuta simply walked around in this foreign land, and realised Seulgi was right. He never stepped outside their lands, so seeing children lining up for an ice cream truck was a surprise.
Humans...
He shook his head and walked away, strolling around the place until he reached a more quite park. No one was really there, just passing by from time to time. Suddenly, he felt a stabbing pain in his chest. It's happened again, he crouched onto his knees as his hand grabbed the part that hurt. He didn't have the medicine, or enough strength to teleport back to his room.
"Oh My God!" he heard someone shriek and footsteps getting louder as the person ran towards him. "Are you OK? Should I call an ambulance? Hey, look at me!"
Soft hands grabbed Yuta by his arms and turned him around so his head laid on the their lap, and he got a glimpse of them. Suddenly, the pain receded, and he was able to make out the lady holding him.
"Do you need help? Wait, I'll call the ambulance." she spoke, and it felt as if it cured him. The more she touched him, spoke to him, the more he looked at her, his pain reduced.
It can't be...
"Wait..." he groaned and held her hand with her phone as she nearly called the ambulance. "Don't... They can't... do anything..." he said as he slowly sat up. The lady helped support his back, and his pain receded even more at the touch.
There were two more things he had to check, smell and taste. He looked at the hand he held and pulled it to himself, sniffing her wrist. The lady's eyes widened and she screamed.
"Pervert! What are you doing!?!"
Yuta held her hand tight again, panting as the pain was still there, just in his chest. "Please listen to me. What are you?"
"Excuse me?"
"What are you?" he asked again with pleading eyes. The lady sensed he wasn't a pervert, at least she hoped he wasn't with the way his eyes softened.
"I'm a store manager."
"A human?" he asked, causing her to look at him bewildered.
"Why? Do I look like a monster to you?" the lady asked cocking her eyebrow. Yuta sighed and shut his eyes, and once he opened them again she gasped. "You're..." she trailed off, bewitched by his red eyes.
"Please, let me kiss you." he cut her off. "Let me kiss you just once, and if it works I'll tell you everything."
Something about his eyes captivated her, she didn't know what came over her but she nodded. Yuta gently cupped her cheek and pulled her in, kissing her lips.
Until it happened. His fangs poked through, and he tasted her blood. And he knew for sure she was the one.
His soulmate.
The lady froze at the piercing feeling in her lips, not even blinking when he pulled away and stared at her. He sat up more properly and wiped the blood smudge off her lips, sucking it off his thumb after.
"Do you believe in soulmates?"
"I..." she staggered. "Maybe..." she managed to whisper. Yuta pursed his lips and slowly stood up holding her hand, tugging her to stand with him. He snaked an arm around her waist and smiled a little apologetically.
"What's your name?"
"Park Sooyoung..."

Five Senses - Part 1
Chapter Two
Tumblr media
The next thing she knew, Sooyoung was no longer in the park, but in a grand bedroom. Her hands which had grasped his arms stuck there, scared to let go in case something happens. Yuta slowly released her and pushed her away, taking her towards the bed.
"Sit for a little." he told her, and she complied.
Taeyong, Seulgi, please come...
The door opened as the couple walked in, and Seulgi's eyes widened in delight. "I knew you'd find her!" she squealed and ran to sit next to Sooyoung. "Which clan are you from? I've never seen you around here. Oh, are you from the Japan clan?"
Sooyoung leaned away a little. "No..." she answers softly.
"Oh, well... We're you raised with humans then? Like me. I mean, if you're Korean we would've seen you by now if you were in clan."
"What's a clan?" Sooyoung asked softly. Taeyong's eyes widened as he sensed what is happening, and grabbed Yuta by the arm.
"Yuta, where did you find her?"
"A park..."
"And?" he asked sternly, looking deep into his eyes.
Yuta bit his lip. "She's not from any clan... She's a human."
Seulgi gasped jumping up, looking back at Sooyoung who now pressed herself against the headboard of the bed. She kept looking between Yuta and the lady, while her husband paced around in stress.
"Is... Is that possible? How can your so-"
"I know." Yuta cut her off. "I've never heard of this before either."
Taeyong looked back at Sooyoung, scratching his head in frustration. "Will the council even allow this? What if they choose your death over this?"
"They can't." Seulgi answered. "You two are royalty. They can't choose your death. But, we don't know what they could do either..."
The three vampires could only stand around and think, until Yuta noticed Sooyoung's discomfort. He exchanged glances with her and smiled. "Well, for now let's make her comfortable. Taeyong, follow me to father's room. Seulgi, maybe you can stay with her and explain what's going on."
Seulgi nodded and smiled at Sooyoung as the two left. They teleported to their father's room, feeling too lazy to walk across the big palace. Yuta sighed, knowing he wasn't one of the children his father favoured as much, unlike Taeyong. Taeyong noticed his lip biting and held his shoulder, smiling at him in reassurance.
They entered the room, and saw the older man reading in his chair. "Dad... I found my soulmate." Yuta spoke right away as he walked in. Their father looked up at him and gave a small smile, suddenly noticing their expressions.
"Well that's good news. But, why do you two look so down? Don't tell me it's one of your sisters!?!" he panicked dropping his book, only to get a mad glare from Taeyong.
Disgusting...
"No dad, she's... A human."
Their father froze, holding his chest as if he had a heart attack. "How... How can that be?" he spoke staggering. His eyes trailed to Yuta, suddenly becoming a deep shade of red, and Yuta knew what he's about to say. "I knew you would be the most trouble. You always were!"
Yuta, for once, was timid and quiet unlike his usual self. Although he always was in the presence of his father, the king with multiple wives, soulmate or not. Taeyong wasn't lying, he knew how his father abused his power over the people and had multiple affairs, leading to him having several half siblings.
"Don't say that sh*t!" Taeyong gritted, eyes just as red, as he stood in front if his brother. "You were the one with multiple affairs, despite having my mother as your soulmate. If anyone is to blame for any of my siblings being trouble, it's you! And I don't see the trouble here at all. All you have to do is be supportive and tell him what's next, so man up and do that!" he snarled.
The old man however didn't like being corrected, especially by his own legitimate son. "You should know better Taeyong. This is unacceptable! How is he the only one with a human soulmate and none of the rest! Stop sticking up for him, and go spend time with your wife!"
Taeyong rolled his eyes as he scoffed and laughed like a maniac. "I'd love to do something you never did. But right now, we both stand for Yuta. You and the council can go screw yourselves!"
+
Seulgi sat next to Sooyoung smiling. "So, how old are you exactly? Oh, I should introduce myself first. I'm Seulgi, Taeyong's soul mate and wife. Taeyong and Yuta are half brothers, I'll tell you the family history some other day."
Sooyoung could tell that it wasn't going to be a good story by the way Seulgi went a little quiet, and decided to break the tension. "I'm Park Sooyoung. I'm twenty three, and I work as a clothing store manager..." she smiled a little.
Seulgi smiled back, and decided to explain the whole soul mate issue. "So, I guess I need to tell you why you're here. Well, I grew up with humans, and I know the concept of soulmates that some people believe. For vampires soul mates are real, but not the same. For us, once we hit adult age, we need to find our soulmates, or else we feel pain. In Yuta's case, his pain was even more than usual, which I guess now makes sense seeing that you're not a vampire. Our doctors even claimed he might have died."
Sooyoung listened intently, trying to process this new world she's got into. "How do you know who's your soulmate?"
"Well, it works with the five senses. I felt pain, but when I accidentally held Taeyong's hand once, it felt better. Then we looked at each other, heard each others voices, smelt each others blood, and finally..." she suddenly went quiet blushing. "We tasted each others blood when we kissed. Once you do all that and the pain is gone, you know you found your soulmate."
"That makes sense." Sooyoung said softly touching her bottom lip. Seulgi could tell she already went through the whole process, and held her hand in reassurance.
"Listen, I know it's all new to you, but trust me. Yuta is a great guy, so don't feel too awkward. He does everything in his power to make his loved ones happy."
"Will I have to marry him?" Sooyoung asked all of a sudden. Seulgi pursed her lips as she thought.
"Well, that's usually the custom. But... I think it's better you discuss this with him instead."
Sooyoung nodded, and they made casual conversation about their lives, until the door opened with a thud as Yuta stormed in with Taeyong following behind. He jumped into his bed beside Sooyoung who flinched, and groaned into his pillow.
"What now?" Seulgi asked looking at her husband. Taeyong brushed his hair back and she could tell something wasn't right.
"The old man gave him a choice... Either she becomes a vampire, or he'll just have to wait for the day they die."
"What!?!" Sooyoung shrieked getting up. "What do you mean I'll die!?!"
"No not that." Taeyong calmed her, and started to explain. "But you're not immortal, so when you do die, so will he..."
The three looked at Yuta when he suddenly groaned even louder. "Just get out you two!" he yelled at Taeyong and Seulgi. The couple sighed, sending apologetic looks towards Sooyoung before teleporting out of the room. Sooyoung stood awkwardly, and sat back next to Yuta. She could tell he was crying silently into his pillow, and felt sad for him.
Nervously, she reached a hand into his hair and gently stroked it. Yuta lifted his head slightly to look up at her, and she gave a small smile. He sighed and dropped his head back into the pillow while she continued to stroke his hair.
After a while Yuta got up and breathed out. "Well, let's take you home I guess..." he muttered. Sooyoung stared at him confused.
"I thought you need me to stay here?"
Yuta shook his head smiling slightly. "Not really. The decision is whether you want to become a vampire or not... But I don't want to force you. You're my soul mate, against your will. So..." he trailed off. Sooyoung pursed her lips nodding. She had a slight guilty feeling in her.
"Uhm... If I were to become a vampire, how would that happen?" she asked out of curiosity. Yuta sighed, staring into space as he wondered what to tell her.
"Well... You're my soulmate, so I have to be the one to turn you."
"How?"
"Uhm..." he trailed off, and she could see a slight blush creeping into his cheeks. "I have to bite you... But it has to be your chest."
Sooyoung's eyes widened as her hands automatically held her chest. "Chest?"
"Your left side, to be more exact. Where your heart is."

But moving away means huge money. And where would you go? Another country? That will cost a lot of money. Another city? But that won't guarantee that you will be safe from another mafia group.
A heavy sigh escaped your lips as you list your expenses for the month and the salary you’re receiving from this flower shop gig. Should you get another part-time job? A job that would pay you a hundred thousand a night perhaps? Is there even a job like that?
"What's with the long face?" Sophie, the owner of the flower shop, asked. "It's bad for the business." You apologized but she just stared at you worriedly. "What's wrong, Y/N?" She had always been the older sister you never had. It wasn’t the best impression when you first met her, but she had always been there for you and even took you in when she first built this flower shop. “Is it about your dad? I told you to just send him to the hospice, you can have the freedom by yourself.” But you cannot do that, he’s the only one in your family left. You cannot just abandon him like that.
You dropped the pen and then stared at her in question. “Do you know any job where I can get a hundred thousand per night?”
She laughed. A boisterous laugh that made you sigh. Of course, that would be stupid. There’s not a job like that. “You’re pretty and you’re young. You could sell yourself.” The older suggested which made you look at her. Sell yourself? How? Like in a market? “I’m pretty sure those old men would have a field day seeing you.”
What? You’re so lost. What is she talking about? “What? I don’t get it.”
Sophie gave you a frustrated sigh. “If you sell your body to those old men, they’ll definitely pay you a hundred thousand. Sometimes even more.”
“Really? How?”
“By sleeping with them and bearing them a child.”
Your eyebrows scrunched in question, “How do you bear a child?”
You can see how she looked at you as if you were stupid. And with how she judged you, you felt like you were. “You’re a hopeless virgin.” She claimed while shaking her head. “I’ll ask around.” You nodded, thanking her for that. “Y/N, please don’t let anyone corrupt your innocence.”
Your talk was cut off when the door chime rang and a customer entered. It was weird seeing a guy clad in black clothes and wearing sunglasses, asking for a flower suggestion. But you weren’t one to judge. A customer means business and you’re more than happy that someone is buying flowers at this time of day.
The guy kept on returning for three days in a row, sometimes twice a day, which you found rather odd. You were convinced that he was after your boss since Sophie would always entertain him and you would just arrange the flowers he would buy. On the fourth day, however, he came in the morning even if your boss isn’t around. He bought a bouquet of tulips, like on any typical day, without asking for Sophie. Maybe he really is a customer.
That afternoon though, instead of the man in black who usually comes in, a familiar dimpled guy appeared at the door of the flower shop that startled you. “You didn’t call me.” How did he find you here? Is this merely a coincidence?
“I lost your card.”
“Lost or threw?” He knows. He locked the door of the shop which made you revolt but he only stepped closer to you, pulling the sleeve of your shirt. “You didn’t clean your wound.” he whispered, “You could die because of this, Y/N.” It’s just a gunshot wound. How bad can it get?
If it wasn’t for Jaehyun, you wouldn’t notice how the part of your arm where the wound is was swelling. He explained it was natural and since you left the wound in the open, it is infected. You didn’t understand anything but felt bad that you dismissed his warning. But why is he so concerned about you? “I gave you my card so I can help you clean your wound or if anything happens, you can call me. I like brave girls but I hate stubborn girls the most.”
“You don’t need to concern yourself with me.”
He smiled, a dimple popping out from his cheek. Well, Jaehyun is rather handsome. You had to note that. But he’s related to a mafia and that’s a huge red flag already. “I don’t," You shrugged, he really shouldn't be.
"...but I’m grateful.” He claimed which surprised you. Grateful about what? “If it weren’t for you, the leader of the Nakamoto group would be dead. Of course, you don’t realize how big that is. But because of you, Y/N, the group is alive.” You didn’t know if it was his serious tone or the weight of his statement that made you hush. Jaehyun stared straight at you, “And a young child wouldn’t be more traumatized.”
“So Miss Y/N Y/L/N, like it or not, you’re already involved in this mafia group.” The words you dread to hear. “Unless you pay off your debt.”
Maybe Sophie’s suggestion of selling yourself would be a good idea.
Jaehyun stood by the door. From the outside, you can see the customer you have been noticing for days approaching the shop. He’s pretty late today. “And be careful outside. There might be people after you.”
If there is one thing that Jaehyun was right about, it is the fact that you were stubborn. It was the reason why you still went to the mafia’s house even if your father told you not to get involved. Yet why are his words repeating in your mind? It wasn’t a big deal. You pushed a guy when you saw that he was in trouble. Anyone could easily do it. But why is it bugging you like this?
Another is his warning. You didn’t try to notice it before but you were so paranoid right now that you do feel that someone is following you. Why did you leave the shop this late? You should have just come to work early tomorrow to do the inventory and not today.
From the windows of the closed shop, you can spot a tall man in sunglasses walking in the same way as you are. The same eerie man who kept coming back to your shop for days. Is he following you? Why? Hastily, you made a sharp turn to a dark alleyway and started scrambling to get something from your bag, the pepper spray Sophie had given you for this situation.
You weren’t surprised when he appeared in front of you. But your eyes widened in surprise when you heard a gunshot followed by the man falling on the ground, blood quickly pooling on your feet. You looked up to see a familiar pair of dark, predatory orbs staring at the body in front of you while putting down the gun he obviously used.
Why is the mafia boss here? And why did he kill this person in front of you? “Take him.” You saw how the man with brown hair, who you remembered as Mark, appeared in the alleyway and started dragging the bloody away. You only stared at the trail of blood, your heart thumping fast that you could feel your face heat up.
“You didn’t have to kill him, boss.” You knew that voice. Jaehyun. “How can we get information from him?” He walked to where you are, greeting you casually. “We’re seeing you too often, Y/N.”
“What’s happening? Why…?”
“His group is kidnapping girls and selling them as prostitutes to the black market.” It was Yuta who said those words, keeping his gun on the holster by his belt.
Jaehyun grinned. “You’re lucky you didn’t get kidnapped and sold.” Wow, you thought, you really attract the things you were thinking about. Aren’t you just considering selling yourself? You didn't know you could be near that plan because of that eerie man. “Didn’t I warn you to be careful?” he asked, wiping something from your cheeks. The handkerchief has a splotch of blood that startled you.
“You can keep on flirting all you want. I’ll leave first.” The leader just turned around and started walking away without looking back. You wanted to thank him for saving you but you cannot find your voice or your courage for that matter.
Jaehyun asked to drive you home which you didn’t turn down because of what happened earlier. You can still feel your hands shaking at the thought of the vivid scene. Instead of just the street heading to your home, he actually dropped you in front of your house. He handed you his card once again, “I’m not doing this to flirt with you. But if you needed anything, just call.” You nodded, putting the card in your pocket before going out of his car. You thanked him and he immediately left.
You breathed heavily before heading inside your house. You cannot show your father that you're shaken up like this. Calm down, Y/N. You're safe now. That wouldn't happen again. “Who’s that?” Your dad asked once you were inside the house, him staring outside the window. “Why are you coming home in a car?”
You didn’t want to lie to your dad but you didn’t want to tell him the truth either. “It was Sophie’s boyfriend. He just gave me a ride home since it’s late.” Maybe a little white lie wouldn’t hurt. You cannot let him know that you’re now involved with the mafia he owes money from.
Then that sentence replayed to you. Jaehyun was right once again. You are now involved with the mafia. They know who you are, where you work, and where you live.
The shaking of your hands came back, heart thumping real fast that you felt your face will burst from the heat. You will never be safe from now on, Y/N.

a/n: I am terribly sorry for the super late update (I have been saying that a lot) A lot of things just happened personally. I have a terrible time thinking of how to end this story and this wasn't the best option but this is the only thing that made sense. Thank you for coming with me on this wild ass ride. I am sorry if I disappointed you with the ending but I'm really thankful for the time you spend reading this series. I'll try to be better and update faster in the coming days.
It was the longest month of your life: one funeral, after another, then another. A lot of lives were already lost. And the last one is the hardest one to accept.
This is the reason why you planned to run away, why you wanted to leave in the first place, to save Yuta and Momo from you. In the end, you were the reason why they died. You cannot accept the reality presented in front of you. The people you once met and loved are now ashes jarred in a columbarium.
Doyoung and Jaehyun kept on assuring you that you were not at fault. It was an accident. Yuta was driving fast for someone who doesn’t drive that much and the roads are steep because of the cliff. Johnny hated to see you kept crying and forced you to come with him to his hometown. To forget and move on from everything.
But how can you move on from this? How can you forget the best yet most traumatic thing that happened in your life?
The voices were louder in your head. The nightmares became more vivid each night.
You just wanted the things in your mind to stop.
So when Johnny brought you to the best psychiatrist in Chicago, you didn’t hold back and kept crying at the stranger in front of you. You told him everything and you only got a piece of a fantastic quote from him, “If you put it out, it will come out.”
It didn’t make sense at first but when you found yourself listening to one of the doctor’s past patients, who became a great speaker, you found yourself inspired by how she managed to turn the things in her head into something amazing.
If your nightmares become your reality, why not make your reality into fiction?
You worked part-time, as Johnny’s assistant, to pay for writing courses in a nearby college and started to put your life back to pieces by writing a novel. With Johnny’s connections as the son of the feared mafia in Chicago, you got your book published. It didn’t take a year for it to become one of the best-seller fiction books in the country. A book about a friend and a traitor. Sophie and Mark. The love story you wished they had, if none of these happened.
Then the following year, as per the readers' demand, you created a story based on two of your friends who you found out are dating in real life. A well-known doctor and a nameless club hostess. Jaehyun and Lexi.
It still amazed you when Jaehyun came to Chicago and he shared that he was dating Rachel, a friend of yours. You didn’t know anyone named Rachel and when he shared a picture, you were surprised that it was Lexi. He did share that he first saw her when they came to check on Kyoko. And when you were confined to the hospital, after the whole ordeal with Mark, the feelings just developed. It inspired you to make the book that became your second shot at fame.
By the third year, you shifted to fiction from self-help books and it had been selling like pancakes.
Maybe this is your calling.
The voices come to you as a whisper now. The nightmares become blurry each night. The therapy is working. Putting it out is working out.
You’re slowly getting your life back together.
“Aren’t you going back?” Johnny asked one morning and you gave him a confused look. “It’s Sophie’s death anniversary.” You stared at the floor. Are you ready to face her? “You’re doing so well, maybe it’s time to tell her that.” He was right, you definitely should go back. Maybe you can brag about the books to her. That you made a name for yourself, that you created a new world for yourself. That you’re slowly surviving these all.
But you’re scared. “Will you come with me?”
Johnny shook his head, smiling at you. “I still have work here.” You pouted. You don’t want to go back alone. “But I’ll message Jaehyun.”
The airport looks the same as when you last left. Busy. Crowded. A lot of memories had happened in this same place. You remembered being nervous to board the plane for the first time. You remember crying so hard when you received the bad news on the phone. You remembered Johnny telling you how happy he is that you chose your happiness. You remembered being abandoned by your dad. You remembered being saved by a person with chocolate brown eyes.
You grasped the sling of your body cross bag at the memory. He’s passing your mind again. It’s making your heart hurt.
“Baby!” Someone called and you saw Jaehyun waving his arm while running to you, Lexi glaring at him. “I’m so glad you’re here. We have something to tell you…” You greeted the girl, “Love, tell her.” Before the woman beside you could speak, Jaehyun held your hand. “Rachel and I are getting married.”
It still makes you wonder who Rachel is. But when Lexi rolled her eyes, you gasped and then looked at her in surprise. “It’s a small wedding. Family and just a few friends.” She claimed as if it was not a big deal. But it is, your eyes are even tearing up at the announcement they shared.
“And she’s going to make you her maid of honor.”
Lexi slapped Jaehyun’s shoulder, “I should be the one telling her that.” The tears fell and they both looked at you in surprise. “I’m sorry. Don’t you like that?”
You shook your head. “No, I love it. But why me?”
The girl smiled warmly at you, “Because you were the reason why we met.” Jaehyun wiped the tears on your cheek with his thumb, “Y/N, you are the best thing that happened to both of us.” He claimed that it made you tear up more. Lexi scolded her fiance at how he made you cry but you only laughed at that.
Who would have thought that they’ll be perfect for each other?
Instead of heading to the hotel first, you decided to visit Sophie’s tomb located in a cemetery in her hometown. It feels nostalgic to be back in the place. The first time you’ve been here, you were filled with grief. Now, you have mixed emotions.
The marble was obviously taken care of. Sophie’s picture made you mirror the same expression as hers, smiling. “I miss you.” You started, brushing your hand along her embossed name. “I miss your burnt toast and that overly bitter coffee.” The side of your lips curled up as you fixed the flowers, camellias, to adorn her marble. “I miss talking to you.”
The tears automatically fell like waterfalls, “I’m sorry.” You whispered, “I’m sorry I put you in danger. I should have listened to you from the start. I’m sorry, Sophie.”
You didn’t know when was the last time you cried in pain, you’ve been crying a lot in joy for the past years. You let the tears flow, making their way to her marble as if wiping the sins you’ve done to your friend. You kept on apologizing, grasping the cold marble in your fingertips. The weather seemed to match your mood as it suddenly rained, masking your weeps of grief.
It was really dark when you left the cemetery and drove back to town. You didn’t even know if the road you’re traveling on is the right way since the GPS is busted because of the thunderstorm. It didn’t help that your phone was out of battery. You were getting frustrated that when your car overheated and stopped on the road, you just bumped your head on the steering wheel. Why is your day so unlucky like this?
A knock on the door of your car startled you, an old man with a clear umbrella looking at you in worry. You didn’t realize that you were honking the car so loud with your action and apologized to the man you bothered. “Do you want to have some tea inside?” You glanced at the small homey shop with the sign that said ‘closed’ on the door. You stared at him in confusion before he smiled, “No one really wants tea at night. But you might need some.”
You didn’t know why you said yes. But in your defense, the old man looks so nice. The scenario has an element of horror fiction or just a small funny anecdote that made you laugh. The old man left a tray of tea in front of you just as the smell of lilies filled the air. The last time you had tea with Yuta, the last time you saw him, you were having this exact flavor of tea. You smiled at the painful memory. “You’re not from here, aren’t you?” The old man asked, sitting in front of you.
You nodded before taking a sip of tea, the taste almost the same as you had before. Painful. “I visited a friend.” It must be a lot of information for a stranger but being put into therapy sessions to open up, you were so used to talking to other people. “The tea tastes great. And your place feels so warm.” You took in the interior of the shop: the wood tables and chairs, the warm atmosphere, and the flowers on each table.
The old man grinned, “My son loves tea so with the little money my wife and I saved, we opened this shop.” He smiled once again and you noted how warm it feels, must be why the small shop is homey. “It’s not that huge but we’re surviving.” This should be advertised more. Let some locals, and even tourists, know about how warm this place is. With the atmosphere, it will be good to put a library on one side. “My son wanted to put a small library on that side,” Your eyes widened in surprise, you were just thinking about that. “He works in the library.”
“I can donate some books.” You claimed before you could stop yourself, “And maybe I can write about your tea shop in one of my books and let some readers visualize the experience here.”
“You’re an author?” You nodded. “My son loves books. He’ll be over the moon if I get your sign.” He stood up and then took a piece of paper from the counter.
You were embarrassed. Why did you say that? Your books are catered more to female audiences. Even if you give your autograph, you doubt his son reads your books. But the older man looked so excited that you didn’t burst his bubble. “What should I put as a name?” You asked, uncapping the marker.
“Hayate,” he answered. “My son’s name is Hayate.”
—---
Lexi kept on talking about Jaehyun's quirks that would only make you smile. It still fascinates you how the person who hated you before is now talking about a person you first knew in this mafia business. Who would even think that Lexi and Jaehyun would end up together? It’s impossible. But then, there’s nothing impossible right now.
“Thank you for coming with me,” Lexi started and you gave her a heart-warming smile. This is something that you wanted to tap into for a long time. “If you feel uncomfortable choosing my flowers, it’s fine. You can tell me.”
You smiled then shook your head. You have to face the trauma. “I’m fine.” You said in a lively voice. “We have to get pretty flowers for your bouquet.”
The stalls were adorned with colorful flowers, a huge reminder of the work you first had. Before all of this. If only you stayed in that time, maybe Sophie is opening a stall here. The smell of flowers, woody and musky, filled the air. A very nostalgic sight and scent.
Since Lexi doesn’t have any ideas about flowers, the reason why she asked for your help, you settled on finding a very particular flower that you knew would look good in a wedding bouquet. Ranunculus. It is a very common flower but not that common in the season and when you spotted a certain stall selling that exact flower, you immediately approached the owner. She was an old woman, probably in her late fifties, with a nice smile. You found out that she has her own garden filled with ranunculus and with Lexi’s permission, ordered flowers for her bouquet. You even added some protea to decorate the wedding hall.
It was a fruitful errand. You were thankful that Lexi asked you to come with her. The flowers really did calm you down. You missed being surrounded by their colors and scent. The last time you were in a room full of flowers was at the flower shop, with Sophie. The last time you saw so many flowers was in the garden Mark cultivated. They would really love it here.
You glanced at Lexi and the old woman talking so you just looked around for flower species that you remembered. A certain six-petaled, white flower caught your attention. Lily. “Hi,” you heard a female voice say before taking a piece of the flower you were eyeing. “This is for you.” Your smile fell when you saw the young girl. “You might have liked Lilies.” Momo.
“Haruhi!” Another female voice called that made the young girl turn at the old woman talking with Lexi. She smiled your way before excusing herself and running to the older woman.
She looks so much like Momo. Are your eyes fooling you?
“Y/N,” Lexi called which snapped you back to your senses. “Are you alright?”
You nodded then smiled. Maybe you just miss Momo so much.
The Columbarium didn’t change. The jar where Yuta and Momo’s ashes were surrounded with dying flowers that you quickly replaced. Their picture, smiling widely, a bitter reminder that they’re both gone.
“I missed you both more today.” You whispered, fingers grazing the porcelain jar. “I keep wishing that you’re still here with me.” It was a selfish wish. But it’s the only wish that would keep you sane. The only wish that makes sense in your life.
You thought you could continue living without them: Sophie, Mark, Momo, and Yuta. You’ve been living well all this time. But right now, you realize how heavy life is without them. You cannot change the past. You were the reason why innocent lives were killed. You didn’t deserve to be happy with your life. You need to be miserable and pay for your sins.
It was the idea you wanted to instill in Doctor Moon Taeil’s mind in your therapy session. He complimented how you look well compared to when he last saw you and you hated that. “I thought I’m okay. That I’m done fighting the voices in my head,” You started. Taeil was still the same smiling guy as he listened to you and it frustrates you. “But seeing them, knowing that they’re dead because of me, I hate that I’m doing well.”
“You’re poisoning yourself,” Taeil claimed as his smile faded. “Do you remember what you desperately wanted before?”
“To go back to my normal life.”
He nodded, tapping his pen on the clipboard. “Now, you’re back to your normal life and more. You have everything that you wanted, Y/N. Shouldn’t you just live this life for them?” The smile on his face was back. “Yuta would definitely like it if you live your life happily.”
You didn’t know if the talk helped. But for the first time, since you came back, you dreamed of him. Yuta and Momo were in the middle of a large lavender field, calling you over. You were running in their direction but they seemed to get farther as you grew closer.
You woke up in cold sweats, voices in your head shouting ‘You don’t deserve to be happy, Y/N’. You tried to block them out by covering both your ears repeatedly. “I’m not crazy. This will stop.” You kept on mumbling to yourself to drown out the annoying noise but you can’t seem to make it stop. Your fingers kept on shaking as you poured the pills into your hand.
You need to fight these voices inside you before it kills you alive.
The pills aren’t helping. Even writing your thoughts isn’t stopping the voices in your head. A drive. Maybe a drive can help.
Johnny used to do it a lot in Chicago. Whenever you cannot sleep and your mind is clouded with dark thoughts, he would take you out for a drive and watch the city lights. It used to calm you down. It turns the voices into a whisper.
But Johnny isn’t here. And this is not Chicago. There are no night lights, just pure deserted fields. The weather isn’t helping at all. Why has it kept raining ever since you came back?
You didn’t know why your feet and hands brought you to a familiar place. Maybe you needed to calm down so badly and this is the first place, here, where you felt that calmness. The lights were closed, as expected for a small shop that operates in the daytime. The rain was falling hard and the thunder rumbled as loud as it could. You knocked on the door loudly, hoping for someone to open the shop for you.
The old man looked awake from his sleep and you profusely apologized when he opened the door. “It’s fine. Are you lost?” You’re not but you felt like you are. You nodded.
Apologies kept on coming out of your lips as the old man walked you to the table by the corner of the shop. You smiled at how one part had an enormous shelf of books, some of the books looking very familiar. Your books. The world you created. Maybe the old man bought your books after your encounter.
You are thankful that your feet brought you to this place. It really did calm you down.
From the inside, you can hear hushed conversations and wonder if there was someone else awake because of you. You were once again apologetic.
The old man came out with hot tea that made you thank him. It was a selfish request to prepare tea this late at night so you kept on thanking him while holding the hot cup in your hand. It was calming. A nostalgic feeling. “Are you having trouble sleeping?” You nodded, drinking the familiar tea. “My son said that chamomile can help you sleep better.”
Chamomile. That’s why it’s too familiar. It was the first tea Yuta made for you. How memorable.
Thunder rumbled and lightning came like a flash that startled you. You dropped the cup, earning a loud crashing sound. “I’m sorry,” You immediately crouched down to get the broken pieces of the cup, fingers shaking. “I’m sorry.” You repeated. The broken pieces of porcelain cut your fingers but it doesn’t hurt even if blood can be seen dripping from the cut.
The old man called for someone and you only heard footsteps before it stopped in front of you. Rough hands pulled your fingers away from the broken pieces which made you turn to the person who spoke up, “Does it hurt?”
You had to blink twice. The familiar black orbs. The familiar face. “Yuta,” you whispered, which made the guy in front of you stare in confusion. The tears fell from your eyes. He’s alive. He’s here.
“Miss Y/N, are you alright?” The old man asked before the guy in front dropped your hand, covering the lower half of his face while gasping.
“You’re the author Y/N Y/LN?” The younger man stood up as if he were on fire. “Father isn’t kidding. I can’t believe I’m in front of an amazing author and I held your hand.” He stared at his hands before shaking his head, “I must still be dreaming.”
It was your turn to be confused. He is Yuta. He looks exactly like Yuta. But why is he acting so differently? The old man chuckled when the younger ran back inside, “That’s my son, Hayate. He’s a huge fan of yours.”
You chuckled to yourself.
That does it.
You finally went crazy.
—---
“Hayate Suzaki,” Doyoung recalled, showing you the folder that is filled with information about the person you asked for help. “He is a researcher from Romania and is currently a librarian in a local bookstore.” You kept on glaring at the copy of his passport picture and ID presented in front of you. “He does look like Yuta Nakamoto but I can assure you that he’s legit.”
Jaehyun took the folder and nodded to himself, “He does look very much like Yuta.” He then glanced at you, “Y/N, you’re not crazy. It’s not a hallucination.”
“Doyoung, there must be something not adding up. How can he look exactly like Yuta?”
The said guy shrugged, “Y/N, I’m a policeman. Not a scientist.”
The doctor beside you tapped your shoulder, “Y/N, Doyoung already broke the rules in helping us find information about this Hayate Suzaki. Let’s cut him some slack.” The man beside you held his chin as if thinking deeply, “And it’s possible that they might look alike. Yuta has a very generic face.” You glared at him. “He wouldn’t be Yuta. Yuta is dead.”
“But what if he is Yuta?”
Doyoung shook his head while Jaehyun heaved a tired sigh, “Maybe this is Yuta’s way of telling you to move on.” You stopped and stared at Jaehyun, “Let him go, Y/N”
You tried to. Desperately. Jaehyun had always been with you that you didn’t have the chance to come back to the tea shop. Instead of moping over it and just kept on letting the voices get louder in your head, you busied yourself with the preparations for Lexi and Jaehyun’s wedding.
The white gown looks so good on your new bestfriend. The initial impression of Lexi looking like a Greek Goddess came to you once again. Jaehyun is such a lucky man. “Why isn’t my bouquet here?” She asked. Your eyes kept on glancing at your phone, biting your lip in nervousness. This is your fault. You should have followed up on the bouquet. Now, you’re in a rush.
A knock on the door can be heard and you open it to see the old woman you bought the flowers from, apologizing. “My husband’s car broke down. I’m sorry.” You shook your head. The important thing is that the flowers are here. Immediately, you fixed the flowers in the bouquet and handed them to Lexi. Before you could close the door, an old man came while holding the remaining flowers to use in decorating the hall. A very familiar old man.
The girl who looks like Momo. The young man who looks like Yuta. The old man in the tea shop. The old woman selling flowers. It’s not just a coincidence.
“Mr. Suzaki,” you called and the man smiled at you, greeting you. Both the old woman beside him and Lexi looked surprised. He introduced his wife and their flower business before introducing you as Hayate’s favorite author. “Hayate,” you called, “He’s not your son, isn’t he?”
The couple’s face obviously frowned, “Mr. Suzaki, Hayate is not your son. He is Yuta Nakamoto.” You claimed, “The young girl in the flower stall. You call her Haruhi,” You cried, “She’s Momo. They’re not yours.”
You heard a loud slap before feeling pain on your cheek. “Hayate and Haruhi are my children.” The old woman said, anger flashing in her expression. You held your hurting cheek. The room is spinning. Everyone’s eyes were on you. “They’re mine.”
The old man held his wife’s shoulder, trying to calm her down. “Miss Y/N, I'm sorry for your loss but I think it’s time to move on.”
When the couple left, your knees weakened and you quickly fell to the ground. Tears kept springing from your eyes but you weren’t sure if it was from the weight of their words or the slap of reality. “Y/N,” Jaehyun called, looking dashing in his black tuxedo. Lexi looked worried as she crouched down to check on you, ruining the form of her dress. “Are you alright?”
It’s time to move on.
You have to accept the reality.
“I’m sorry,” you whispered, crying. “I ruined your wedding.” Lexi shook her head. “I’m sorry I ruined everything.”
It’s time to move on.
You have to accept the reality. You have to face reality. A reality without the love of your life.
------
You kept on muttering an apology but both Lexi and Jaehyun just smiled at you, both shaking their heads. “You don’t have to come to Chicago with me. Johnny will pick me up from the airport.”
The newly wedded girl smiled. Radiance can be seen on her face. She looked prettier now that she was officially Mrs. Jung. “Think of it as our honeymoon.”
Jaehyun chuckled, pulling his wife closer and then kissing her on her temple. “And it might take a long time before we can see you again.” You smiled timidly. With everything that happened, you decided not to come back in the meantime. If you want to move on, you should forget everything. Fight the demons in your head. Face the reality.
This will be the last time you’ll run away from everything.
“Miss Y/N,” you turned to the person who called you, a young man running to where you are. He stopped and then breathed hard as if he was having an asthma attack. Jaehyun, a typical doctor’s reaction, checked on him and Lexi gasped that he looked so much like Yuta. “This is so uncool,” Hayate whispered, then shook his head while assuring Jaehyun that he was fine. “Father told me what happened and I’m terribly sorry that mother hurt you.” He came all the way here to apologize? “I’m so embarrassed. I’m sorry, Miss Y/N.” He hung his head low which made you smile.
They’re right. They do look alike but they are so different. Like opposite sides of the magnet.
“You actually came here to apologize for them, Hayate?”
His eyes, round and sparkly, stared at you. “You know my name? You said my name?”
You nodded, “Hayate.” He gasped then stepped backward. Why is he so weird? You stepped forward and he took another step back. “Are you alright? Your face is red.” You stepped forward to move closer to him but he walked briskly to hide behind Jaehyun. “Hayate.”
“He’s so opposite of Yuta,” Lexi noted. “He’s like the nerdy Yuta.”
“Yuta,” Hayate called. “Yuta Nakamoto.” You stared at him in surprise. “He was the guy you always describe in your blog posts.” Wait, he reads your blog posts? “The man crazy about fighting. The man who taught you how to love.” You smiled then nodded although his eyes were focused on the ground. “Your first love.”
It’s comical how he said those words. They’re really different. You can now fully say that Hayate isn’t Yuta.
“Yuta is a mafia boss.” He claimed and you nodded, “He isn’t just crazy about fighting. He’s crazy about you. He thought your dress was slipping. He dyed his hair blonde because your childhood friend said that you don’t like men with black hair.” You stared in surprise. How did he know those things? You never mention any of it in your blogs or your stories. “Yuta, who has a secret penthouse where he took your…”
“Stop,” you said in a loud voice. “How did you know all that?”
His eyes finally stared at yours. The black orbs turned chocolate brown, the warmness that you only felt from Yuta’s eyes. “They were dreams before. Fighting people, killing someone, holding someone.” The way he said those words were quiet yet it resonated so loud in your ears. “Then I saw you in the shop and the dream became clearer. The person I’m holding was you.”
No, it can’t be. “That can’t be possible.” Jaehyun claimed, “Yuta died.”
“There was a car crash, Haruhi crying beside me so I tried to push her out.” He stepped forward but it was you who stepped backward. “There was an old man who helped pull us out. Then an explosion.”
You choke on a sob. How can this be possible? Hayate is now centimeters in front of you but you didn’t make any move. “I always thought your stories were oddly familiar. That even if you used a different character name, it’s always Sophie and Mark in my head.” You released a gasp. “It’s always Jaehyun and Rachel.” You glanced at the couple who looked as surprised as you are.
“Your stories are my reality, Y/N.”
You are not crazy. Yuta didn’t die. He’s here. In front of you. Pretty much alive.
“I don’t have anything. I’m not even a mafia boss,” You chuckled, tears falling from your eyes. Hayate wiped the tears from your cheeks with his thumbs. “But I’m begging you to let me in your world.”
“Please choose me this last time, Y/N.”
—----
Our life is filled with choices.
What to eat for breakfast? What to wear today? Should you cut your hair short? Should you make a move and talk to that cute boy?
There are always choices.
A choice to fall in love. A choice to be happy. A choice to be crazy.
Just like how Cinderella chose to stay with the prince and not come back to the life she had before. Just like how Ariel chose to be a human rather than accept who she truly is. Just like how Rapunzel chose to trust a man she just met and live her life.
Choices that lead us to our own happy ending.
Is this a happy ending?
No one knows.
Because happy endings are always on the last page of the story. And only you can unlock the last page of your own story.
You closed the book as applause can be heard from the audience. It still feels surreal that your new book is loved by many even if it is way different from the usual ones you write.
A mafia boss and an innocent girl.
A story very close to your heart.
“Baby,” Jaehyun called, handing you a bouquet of pink roses. “You were amazing.” You giggled, thanking him. Lexi smiled widely, repeating the same thing her husband noted.
Johnny gave you another bouquet of sunflowers, complimenting your book and audience. “Where is the biggest bookworm of all?”
“Her biggest fan?” Lexi teasingly asked.
You pointed at the dark-haired guy standing in front of the bookshelf, totally immersed in the book he was reading. A smile escaped your lips watching him in his own world. A total contrast to the person he was before. “You’re going to London, right?” You nodded at Johnny’s question. It was inevitable since the book is gaining popularity across the globe. “Is he coming with you?”
“How about Momo? Are you bringing her to London?” Lexi asked.
Once again, you nodded. “We might bring Haruhi with us.” You claimed, “We can’t leave our daughter with her grandparents. I told Hayate not to come, his parents are already old, but he is stubborn.” You noted before sighing, “Father-in-law says he’s like a magnet stuck with me so wherever I’m going, he’s going.”
Jaehyun chuckled, shaking his head. “At least there’s still some Yuta left in him.” Johnny smirked, “Possessive.”
The mentioned guy started walking to where you are, slipping a hand on your waist then pulling you close. “Still a jealous freak.” Jaehyun nodded at what Johnny claimed, “I can’t believe you married a guy like him, Y/N.”
“You managed to charm the feared mafia boss in town and yet you married a nerd.” You giggled. Why does Jaehyun love to tease Hayate so much? Maybe because your husband wouldn’t retort and would just accept all their teasing. At least he’s not as hot-tempered as before.
You smiled at the person beside you warmly, “It’s still the same. Yuta is Hayate. Hayate is Yuta.”
Lexi teased that you are so in love with your husband that made you chuckle. Who wouldn’t? He’s perfect. The man who made you crazy and saved you from craziness at the same time. The man you’ll choose over and over again. Your first love. When Johnny asked you for any plans for your next book, you just gave him a huge grin.
You closed the book you recently published. The bright embossed silver letters of the title explain the concept you might just continue in your next story.
A popular book author and an easily flustered bookworm.
The current story of your life.
Opposites that attract each other.
Like magnets.
Polarity.

imo, for me, your most iconic story, Gamer Girl/Boy comes to mind, like idk why the plot stuck with me for a while, my first time coming across that kind of sexy stuff (idk how to say it😅)
ANYAYS HEHEH I will have to say Daughter, Black Widow, & that criminal Yuta one (the Bonnie & Clyde one, I forgot the name😭) are DEFINITELY iconic, loved them so much & reread them a lot heheheh💗
OMG. I didn't expect that you will say Gamer Girl / Boy. 🫣 But I do remember that you were one of the readers who requested for a second part back then. I just didn't think someone would remember tht story and I kinda failed on the second part (like.most of my stories)
Also, Daughter and Black Widow??? Those two were few of the concepts I have difficulty writing. 😂 So saying that you actually like them makes me so happy. 😁 The criminal Yuta one is just chefs kiss. I can't even imagine writing that, although I hated the ending. 🤭
Thank you @nuoyipeach It's a pleasure writing stories for you and a great honor that an amazing writer likes my works. 🥰

Please enjoy.  🥰
"I'll buy this."
You glanced at the male who said the same thing as you, pointing at the same game you're pointing at. "This is the last copy of our game." What? You have to get that game. You have been waiting for the release of the game for months now.
"I came here first." you said but the man beside you revolted, "I called for a reservation for the game." Shit! Game over. But you cannot give up yet. "I'll buy it twice the price."
The attendant looked worried, his head facing you then the other costumer as you each took your bids to get the game. "Can't you just settle this on your own? Or I'll sell the game to another buyer." What? No! You needed to play that game.
The young man faced you and you were momentarily stunned at how handsome he looked. "How about I buy the game first and then I'll sell it to you after?"
You shook your head. That can't be. You've been waiting for this game for months. "How about I get the game first?" You asked then put your hands together, rubbing them. "I need to play this game. I have to race my ex-boyfriend to it and since he's still probably fucking some silicon tittied girl, I have to play this first and boast to him."
The guy raised an eyebrow, smirking. The attendant looked surprised at your words. "I have another buyer coming in," he claimed then continued, "His name is..." He said the name of your ex-boyfriend that startled you. No way!
"No! You cannot sell him this game." You pleaded then stared at the guy in front of you, "Please."
"We'll buy the game." The guy claimed before handing his credit card, "The only solution to this is to play together at the same place at the same time." You nodded. That is indeed the best way to resolve this. The attractive man leaned on the counter, facing you that your bodies are centimeters apart. You can even smell his musky scent when he asked, "So, your place or mine?"
He is an attractive guy. Really handsome. And you're nervous to be in an unknown place with him. So you opted for your apartment because it is closer and it's safer. Besides, your roommate will be there.
But the moment you opened the door, with the gorgeous man tailing behind you, she was wearing her bright red pumps. Oh, the fuck-me-pumps. "Are you going somewhere?" You asked and she nodded before stopping to look at the guy behind you, "This is…" Wait, you don't know his name.
"I'm Lee Jeno." Wow, even his name is handsome.
Your roommate introduced herself while exclaiming that he is handsome and welcoming him inside the unit. "I'll call you tomorrow, Y/N,"
"Tomorrow? You're not coming back home tonight?"
"Jaemin promised me a great night," she claimed and you chuckled. Must be nice to have a boyfriend. "Do you think Jaemin would like my skirt?"
You chuckled, "He'll like it better on the floor." You slapped her ass while chuckling. A normal thing you always do with her. "Be a good girl."
"I'm always a good girl." She claimed while fixing her hair. "I should be telling that to you," She wiggled her eyebrow, gesturing for the guy who was looking around the place. "It was nice to meet you, Lee Jeno."
He greeted her, saying the same words as she exited the apartment. You stood there, the whole thing dawning on you, you're alone with him in your apartment unit. You do not feel safe anymore. "Let's play?"
You were preparing the things you needed: the player, the controller, and the TV while he sat on the pink couch. The couch your friend had desperately bought. "Do you want the pink or blue controller?"
"What do you usually use?"
"The blue one." You regretted that when he asked for the same controller while explaining that he had to make a hiccup since it's your home court. Wow, he knows his game. "God, I hate this pink one." You whined. It was your roommate's controller.
"Are you gay?" You stared at him in surprise. What? "You and your roommate."
You laughed at how absurd it was, "We grew up together. She's hot and all, but I still prefer guys." God, that was an awkward statement. You just waited for the game to load before saying, "Don't go easy on me. I want it rough." You hit start and waited for him to click on the game so you glance his way, only to see him looking at you with a smirk on his face.
"Oh, I'll be rough on you."
The implication of your statement haunted you. What the hell were you telling this gorgeous stranger? It's fine if you say that to your roommate or your ex-boyfriend, but God! This gorgeous creature? He might think that you're sexually frustrated.
Which, you are.
But that doesn't matter now. You have to play this game well. When the opening credits can be shown, you were grinning. Months of waiting for this game to come out and it's here. Your heart pounding so hard on your chest as the avatar for the character can be seen. You used to play it a lot with your ex-boyfriend, even buying all the versions of the game. And you were obsessed.
If only he didn't cheat on you, then you might be playing this game with him.
"Wait, why are you on the next level already?" You asked Jeno whose screen showed a different background for his player. How did he get there so fast? "Hey! Hey! Are you cheating?"
The guy chuckled in his low voice that startled you. Wow, that voice. It's sending shivers down your spine and into your core. Fuck you for being sexually deprived. "Focus on the game and not other things, Y/N." The way he said your name made your heart jump out of your chest. What is this guy doing to you?
Your attention was diverted to him, his long lashes and prominent nose. They said guys who have those nose shapes are packed. His lips looked so soft, his skin is so milky white that the veins of his arms can easily be seen. You wonder if his cock would be veiny as well. That must be hot. "Are you done checking me out?"
He turned to you smirking so you tried very hard to shift your focus on the game, which is relatively hard. You can see how his fingers pressed the buttons of the controller, wondering how that would feel exploring your core. Just the image of the long, slender fingers and veiny arms holding you sent your core to sopping wetness. "Your character died." You turned to the screen and saw how the words 'Player One has been slayed' can be seen. Oh great! "I thought you're good at this game."
You are. But you were heavily distracted. "I can't focus." You confessed as you put down the controller. "How are you in the third stage already?" You exclaimed. Wow, this guy is a game nerd.
"Focus," he said with a smirk, fingers pushing on the buttons as if it was on fire.
If you cannot play anymore, why not push this guy's buttons? Focus? You'll get him distracted so he can lose the round and you can play again. Feeling bold, you traced the vein popping from his arms with your forefinger. "What are you doing?" he asked, not removing his eyes from the screen.
"Ruining your focus." He smirked. Just wait until you can rub that off his face. You kept on trailing his vein up and down his arm before you placed your palm on his shoulder, finger heading south on his shirt.
A chuckle escaped his lips as Jeno leaned his back on the couch, allowing you access to his body. He likes it. How interesting. Your fingers trailed on his chest, down to his abdomen, and feeling valleys. So he does work out and he has six-pack abs? Wow, is he a sculpture? The irony of his body and his gamer actions sends your mind into a frenzy. What kind of a person is Lee Jeno?
When your fingers reached the waistband of his jeans, he didn’t have any complaints or revolt. So you pushed it to the extent of touching the middle of his jeans which made him smirk. You were surprised and automatically retracted your hand. God, he is huge. “That’s only the start of it.” Your jaw fell at his statement. He’ll get even bigger? He stared at you dead in the eyes, his dark orbs full of want. “Do you want to suck me?”
You didn’t need another invitation because you were already on your knees in front of him. He paused his game before opening his pants, a gasp escaping your lips. This exceeded your expectations. He is huge and veiny, that's a fact but his size is just amazing. "You're even bigger than those guys in porn." You exclaimed, staring at his cock in awe.
"You haven't watched too much porn." he started playing the game once again and you smirked. A chance to ruin his focus and distract him from the game. You licked the tip of his cock, flattening your tongue to the shaft heading to the base of his cock, the protruding veins throbbing against your tongue.
A groan escaped his lips which made you smile. It's nice to know that you aren't the sexually frustrated one. Slowly you took his length in your mouth, gagging when you're only halfway. Your hand started jerking the remaining part that didn't enter your mouth.
How can someone be this gifted? Maybe Jeno isn't human. You only felt his hand hold your hair as he jerked his hip up, whispering how warm your mouth is. His length reached the back of your throat and the way he held you made it difficult to breathe that you started tapping his thigh to let go of you. Saliva drooled on your chin as you stared at him, breathless. "Are you trying to kill me?"
Jeno smiled and you noticed how the controller was left on his side. When you glanced at the screen, the words 'Player Two has been slayed' were seen. You broke his focus. "Now, let me focus on you."
He pulled you up then pushed you on the couch, successfully pulling your pants without any revolt from you. As if you wanted to revolt. You just wanted him to touch you. Wanted his hard cock inside you. Anything to ease this wetness you're feeling.
And Jeno didn't disappoint. When you decided to buy the game, you didn't know that you could bargain for this amazing guy slipping his long, slender fingers inside you. "You're so wet." Why aren't you? You've been so turned on the moment you set eyes on him from the shop. "Damn, I can just slip my cock easily inside you."
That huge cock? You highly doubt that.
But he did. "Jeno!" you screamed, feeling him deep inside you. Your lips keep on shouting profanities and pleading, on top of the moans, at how he thrust long and deep into you. "Fuck, you are so deep."
You didn't know that it would be possible but he explored places that are untouched, sending you immense pleasure. He kept on whispering how tight and warm you are and you can easily feel him growing harder inside you. What are the odds that you'll get fucked by a stranger inside your apartment and on your friend's couch?
You scratched his arm, another hand clinging to his body as you were brought to your mind-blowing orgasm. Fuck! No one ever drove you to that level of pleasure ever, only a rabbit vibrator. But here is Lee Fucking Jeno making you breathless. "You are so tight," he whispered, head buried in the crook of your neck. "I want to cum inside you."
"Then cum." His thrusts slowed down and as he shoved his cock deep in you, his body pressing against yours, you felt the warmness filling you up. He really did release his sperm inside you.
"Oh my God!" you exclaimed, staring at Jeno at his afterglow. "That was the best fuck I had." He sat up, helping you sit as well. Jeno pulled you in his lap then leaned in to kiss your lips.
"You can keep the game," he claimed, brushing your hair behind your shoulder. "Just invite me if you want to play." Well, playing is the last thing you want to do with Jeno. "Do you want to have dinner with me?"
Is that his invitation for a date? How can you even say no to that? "But please, not tonight." He raised an eyebrow in confusion. "I feel so sore." He chuckled, eyes creating crescent moons as his lips formed a smile.
If you thought he looked handsome in the shop, he's more attractive now. Why is this guy God damn perfect? A perfect chiseled face, a toned body, superb gaming skills, and an amazing fuck. "You're not a dream, aren't you?" He chuckled, shaking his head. You assessed the mess you made on the pink couch then giggled, "My roommate is going to kill me."
"She's having a great night, I doubt that." You nodded then shrugged. She is. Maybe you'll just clean up when Jeno leaves. "Second round?"
You stared at the huge 'Game Over' written on the screen. "I'll make sure that I can defeat you now."
Jeno laughed, "Oh Y/N," He pushed you closer, attacking your neck with his lips. "I'm not referring to the game."
You'll probably have a great night as well.

“Yuta, be on your best behavior.” His mother claimed while handing him the clothes he had to wear. “The Royal family from the East Kingdom are coming to visit. Don’t pull your pranks on them.”
The then ten-year-old child laughed, “Mother, I promise you I’ll be on my best behavior.” He said before smirking. He’ll just be quiet until he becomes friends with the younger prince from the East Kingdom.
But to his surprise, it was a female who had a light blue dress and pins on her hair.
His mother looked so happy seeing a princess which is unusual for royal families. She looked younger than him or maybe because she’s shorter even if she’s wearing heeled shoes. When she introduced herself enthusiastically, Yuta saw how his father’s eyes lit up. Maybe he does want a daughter like what he heard from the maids in the palace.
While watching her play around the garden that his mother cultivated, he realized why.
She’s like a breath of fresh air. A ray of sunshine.
He never noticed how colorful the flowers are even though he always sees them. Just now.
And it was because of her.
She kept on running around, catching the butterflies and just feeling the grass on her toes. He wondered if she runs like this in their land or just here. Is it because their parents are inside? Or because they don't have a large garden like this? The North Kingdom palace is evidently larger than the East Kingdom’s.
He wonders what she usually does in their home. What do princesses do? Is it the same as princes? Ride a horse? Read books so they can talk to different people? Learn how to hold a sword?
Maybe different.
Do they learn how to tie their hair? Or how to sew their dresses?
Are princesses any different from princes?
The royal maid called for them, announcing that lunch was already served at the banquet hall but the younger girl pretended as if she didn't hear anything and just kept on running barefoot. When Yuta approached her, she stopped in her tracks. He took her shoes to her, because that’s how a prince should be, and helped her wear the shoes. “I still want to play.”
“We can play after eating.”
“Together?”
Yuta smiled at the younger, “Together.”
“Yuta! Y/N!” his mother called, smiling widely at them.
The younger girl ran to the older woman and Yuta just shook his head. Where does she get all this energy from? Even at the dining table, she kept on swinging her leg which made her mother scold her. “Y/N is such a darling,” Yuta’s mother claimed, making her parents thank her. “Don’t you think so, Yuta?”
The younger boy was surprised and almost spat his soup at the mention of his name. He only nodded as a response. “Yuta and Y/N would be a great match. How about we wed them when they get older?” His father claimed that made him successfully spit the drink. What? A wedding? “It will be good for the peace of both our lands.”
“Mother, what is being wed?” The younger girl asked which made all of the people at the table look at her.
“That means being married to him.” Her mother exclaimed while gesturing at Yuta.
Y/N shook her head, “What? No! I don’t want to marry him.” Everyone looked shocked, even Yuta was surprised. She doesn’t want to marry him? Why does he suddenly feel offended? “I want to marry a prince.”
"My dearest, he is a prince.” Her dad said but the younger kept on shaking her head, throwing a tantrum that made her parents apologetic at her behavior. “Yuta is a prince.”
“He’s not a prince. I want to marry a prince.” She shouted. “He doesn’t have a white horse. I want to marry a prince on a white horse.”
The laughter of Yuta’s father echoed through the banquet hall. “You are so adorable, Y/N.” he complimented. “Then we’ll surely get Yuta a white horse tomorrow.”
But the prince of the North Kingdom didn’t get his white horse.
First, it was tacky. Second, there aren’t any white horses in the kingdom. It will take years before he can even get one. And why would he change his horse just because of a marriage deal?
It’s not a big deal. They’re still kids.
That thought was what was running into his mind even if he saw her years after.
He was already nineteen years old which automatically means he can travel to different lands, even kingdoms, to make peace and learn the ropes of being a king. Which Yuta actually loathed. He would rather stay at the palace and read books. Why can’t he be a passive prince? Why does he have to be the one who had to promote peace with the other kingdom?
He was headed to the East Kingdom so might as well greet the king. Her family. It was a task, he convinced himself, not a way to see the princess.
To his surprise, he spotted her in the town market and playing with the children barefoot. A princess in the streets, how peculiar. Nothing changed from the image of her running in the garden, she’s still smiling widely. But she had obviously grown up.
He wonders if she even remembers him. Should he greet her? Or just let her and proceed with his tasks?
Once she spotted him, she did a curtsy that made all the children look at him in awe. Yuta unmount his horse to return the curtsy. “Your highness, what are you doing in this part of the kingdom?”
“Mother asked me to get some herbal tea. She claimed they’re the best here.” He answered and she nodded. “Do you perhaps remember me, your highness?” he asked, unsure of what to expect. Is that the right way to ask that question? Or is he just digging a hole for himself with his sudden curiosity?
The girl giggled. A soft giggle that sounded like music in his ears. Oh, how he loved her voice. “Of course, your highness.” She said with a smile. “All the maidens in the land kept on talking about you.” Yuta looked curious. They were talking about him? What about him?
“I’ll help you find the best merchants for herbal teas, just let me get my shoes first.”
“Oh, don’t bother. I’ll get it for you.” Before she could say anything, Yuta was already on his move to get her shoes from the other side of the road. He kneeled in front of her, asking her to place her hand on his shoulder. Yuta was reminded of the first time they met and how he did the same thing for her. It was a nostalgic feeling. “Is it alright?” he asked, making sure that she was standing comfortably. The girl nodded, staring at him in awe. “Why?”
She shook her head, whispering that it was nothing. “Should we go now, your highness?”
His mother was right, the East Kingdom had a lot of things from trade. Maybe because the kingdom is near the ocean. His father was right to make peace with this kingdom. Everywhere they go, the townspeople would give Y/N a greeting and a bow. Some of them would also thank her for help or just her mere presence in their stall.
Princesses really have it different. It’s like they make everything shine.
Or maybe it’s just her.
He’s used to seeing princesses all prim and proper, sitting quietly in their castles and hiding from the townspeople. His mother is a queen and he had never seen her outside the castle walls without his father. But Y/N, the princess, is actually roaming around the land without a lady in waiting or royal guards.
Maybe, it is her.
They stopped in front of a stall that sells different leaves which Yuta isn’t familiar with. “You said the queen wanted some leaves for her tea?” she asked and Yuta nodded as she pointed at some of the leaves on the stall. “These are Lemon Balm leaves, it is good for calming.” She then pointed at another stalk of leaves. “This one is Echinacea, this is for immunity.”
“How did you know so much about tea?”
“The herbalist would let me watch him while preparing tea for my mother.” she claimed, “It was an amazing job, I think I want to become one someday.” Her voice became quiet and she faced him with a smile as if she didn't say anything. But Yuta heard her perfectly.
A herbalist? Can a woman be a herbalist? Moreover, can a princess be one? Does that mean she’s going to throw away her duty as the princess to be a herbalist?
They kept on walking, looking at the different objects that the vendors had to offer. Maybe he should bring his mother here sometime, she’ll like all the gems and pieces of jewelry available.
Y/N stopped in front of a stall that sells different ornaments. The merchant greeted her while informing her about a necklace that she asked to keep, “I’ll come back with the golds for the necklace. I’m still three golds short but I promise that I’ll buy the necklace.” She said cheerfully before getting an ornament. “I’ll buy this for now.” She said while giving the merchant five golds.
That much for an ornament? And why didn’t she just buy the necklace instead of that ornament?
Wait, she is a princess. She can have all the money, her parents are royalty. If not, she can even get the necklace for free. It’s impossible that she can’t purchase a necklace.
Yuta looked startled when she handed him the ornament. “It’s a talisman to protect you in your journey.” She explained before putting it on his belt. “It’s a gift so you could remember the East kingdom and its people. May it always protect you, your highness.”
Before he could say something, she immediately clapped and in the same ecstatic tone claimed that she should buy the queen some porcelain. She then skipped going to another part of the street that startled him. She does know her way in town. Yuta turned to the merchant and asked for the necklace he mentioned, paying fifteen golds just for the accessory.
When they met at the other side of the town, the princess was carrying a lot of things. A box which she claims has the finest porcelain and a bag which has the silkiest robes, gifts for the king and queen back in the North kingdom. Yuta thanked her but she extended her hospitality by saying that he should stay the night in the palace since it was getting darker.
Her parents were very welcoming and although the stay is unannounced, they made sure that Yuta was served the best dinner and was given the best bedroom there is in the palace, overlooking the whole town. Different from their castle, their home was closer to people and maybe that was why everyone loved the princess. His parents should learn how to handle the kingdom from the royal family of the East.
A knock on the door made him close the window and Y/N’s voice can be heard, asking if he was still up. Yuta permitted her to enter his room only to be surprised when she stopped in her tracks and stared at him, wide-eyed. He stared at the spot she was looking at and realized that his torso is naked. “I’m sorry.”
But the girl shook her head as if her senses just came back and placed the linens on top of the bed. “Apologies, the ladies are too shy to enter your room so they asked me to bring this to you instead.” Yuta nodded, putting on the shirt so it won’t be too awkward. “Your highness, can I ask you something?”
He nodded, curious as to what it was. “Can I ride your horse?”
—--
Yuta almost gasped if not for the innocence in the princess’ eyes. He should stay away from the scholars and knights who always go to courtesan houses. She claimed that she had never ridden a horse before and that her father’s horse didn't like her.
Which is totally impossible, since Yuta was sure that everyone and everything likes her.
He also can’t believe that it was her first time riding a horse since she looks so natural. His brown stallion also looked comfortable that he was sure she was just bluffing earlier. He helped her unmount the horse as she laughed at herself. “That was fun.” She exclaimed before getting some carrots for the horse to feast on.
Surely, everyone and everything loves her.
“Y/N, can I ask you a question?” She nodded enthusiastically, “You said you wanted to be a herbalist. Does that mean you're going to throw away being a princess?”
She breathed heavily and for the first time, Yuta saw how serious she looked. Without a smile on her face. Yet, she’s still pretty. “If I get to choose what I can do, I want to get out of these castle walls.” He was shocked at the resolution. Get out of the castle walls? “I want to go to different lands, different kingdoms, and learn about other people. To watch the different flowers bloom.” The smile on her face was back as she glanced at the walls of their castle. “But I cannot do that.”
“Why not?”
“Because I am my father’s daughter.” It was a sentence that Yuta knew by heart. It was the same reason his mother would always say when he asked her why he should be the prince. Because he is his father’s son.
Like him, it must be suffocating for her not to do what she wanted.
“Do you still want to marry a prince on a white horse?”
The girl laughed. “When did I say that?”
“The first time we met. At the palace.” She looked at him in confusion. “You don’t remember that?”
Y/N shook her head. “I was so young at that time. I only remembered the butterflies in the garden.” Yuta felt dejected. So she really did remember him because of the maidens in town talking about him? She held the mane of the horse and stared at it with a smile on her face. “Rather than a prince on a white horse, it is better to marry a person who understands what he wants.”
Yuta smiled. It is. “Rather than a princess, marry someone who understands what she wants.”
She turned to him with a smile, “Exactly!”
Under the moonlight, she’s shining. A beautiful sight to behold.
The East Kingdom really is a pretty land.
“Before I forget,” Yuta started before taking the shining jewelry out of his pocket. “This is for you.” the princess’ eyes were twinkling, like her whole aura, and Yuta noted it as another thing he found pretty about her. “A small gift for coming with me to town.”
"I couldn't accept such gift, your highness." She said with an apologetic bow, "This is too much."
"Please. I insist."
The girl only breathed hard and he asked if he could wear it on her. She agreed, turning her back to the prince and thanking him quietly. “I’ll treasure this gift, your highness.” “Please just call me Yuta. We’re just the same, Y/N.”
She smiled, “Thank you, Yuta.”
Melody in his ears. He really loves her voice.
When the morning came, the royal family was already outside the castle to bid him farewell. The princess was holding a bouquet of flowers for his mother and the queen handed him a bag of meat. “It’s nothing much but it’s getting colder so I hope your royal cook can make a wonderful oxtail soup to keep your family warm.”
“I’m thankful for all the gifts. I’ll make sure my parents will show their gratitude to your family, your majesty.”
“It’s nothing, Prince Yuta. I am apologetic for letting you travel all this way from the palace and we could only give as much.” But this is too much already. It’s more than what he came here for. Even better than what he was supposed to do here.
The younger girl handed him the bouquet of violet and orange flowers then rubbed the mane of his horse, whispering, “Keep the prince safe on your journey home, hmm?” The horse neighed as if answering her and Yuta smiled. “I would like to to thank you once again for the precious gift, Prince Yuta.” She said with a bow which made Yuta shake his head and showed him the talisman hanging on his belt, thanking her for her time and the gift.
“I hope I can see you again, Princess Y/N.”
—---
Yuta didn’t have to wait that long. The next time he saw her was her debut. It’s common for maidens of the land, princess or not, to celebrate their eighteenth birthday. The transition of a girl to a woman. A momentous event for any maiden.
Yuta honestly hated this kind of event. He would always make different excuses just not to attend. Besides, his mother didn’t teach him how to dance. How can he dance with a maiden if he doesn’t know how?
But when the invitation to the princess of the East kingdom came, he didn’t bother making up an excuse.
In the back of his mind, Yuta had wanted to see the princess in her ball gown. He doubted she was less beautiful than when she was just wearing her normal dress. And the image before him didn’t disappoint, rather it excited him. She looks so enchanting. The fairest of all the maiden in the land.
And he was not the only one who thinks of that though.
Ever since she went out, in her silver dress, bachelors would ask her for a dance. After a song, another bachelor would come to dance with her and she would gracefully say yes. He was in his third glass of wine that night. He didn’t know how long he was standing, just watching her interact with people of the same sex as him, giving them her utmost attention that pained him. Is this what he was going to do the whole night?
“Princess Y/N is a darling. Why don’t you take a shot at wooing her, my son?” One mother asked her son who obviously had his eyes on the same girl Yuta had been staring at all night. Maybe his mother would say the same thing if she were here.
“Prince Yuta, you came,” Y/N said while smiling, doing a curtsy in front of him like what she did in town before. “I hope the party is of your liking.”
“It is.” He put down the fifth glass of wine that he drank. “Apologies that my parents cannot come.” But she only nodded, saying that the duty to the kingdom is more important than the event. “You are dashing, Princess Y/N.”
She smiled widely. A smile that Yuta wanted to keep in his memories. “Thank you, your highness.”
He was about to say something when the song came. Another guy, the one talking to his mother earlier, lend his hand to the girl asking her to dance. She excused herself before taking the other’s hand, making Yuta’s blood boil.
Yuta hated that she gave him the attention. He hates that she gives these men attention.
Is this what they call jealousy?
Then like a strong wind that blew him out, he realized what it was. Will he be jealous if he didn’t like her? He had always had his eyes on her, from the moment they first met. Her bright, shining aura. Her smile. Her voice. He likes everything about her.
He was enchanted by her.
And Y/N is supposed to be his.
Didn’t their parents agree to wed them when they get older? No one disagreed before but her. She said before that she wanted to marry a prince on a white horse. He is a prince. And he can easily get a white horse if she wished.
She wanted to marry a person who understands what he wants. And Yuta knew very much what he wanted.
Who he wanted, rather.
Her.
As the song almost drew close, he made his way to the crowd and to where the princess was. He tapped the bachelor’s back before asking for her hand just as the song stopped, followed by a slow song like a waltz. “Pardon me but I don’t know how to dance.” Yuta started and the girl just giggled, taking his hand. She was guiding him along the dance floor, their bodies swaying against each other as he felt her warmth.
‘Marry someone who understands what she wants.’ That phrase returned to him as he was holding her.
A phrase that perfectly explains her.
“Aren’t you tired from all the dancing?” She giggled, confessing that she does and complaining that her feet are already hurting from standing for too long. “And there’s still a long line of bachelors wanting to dance with you.” She turned around to see the other men looking at her as if waiting for them to just finish dancing then visibly sighed. “Do you want to come with me outside?”
Y/N nodded and Yuta was already guiding her, with the looks from the crowd, outside.
The air was cold and he almost cursed himself for bringing the princess outside yet she claimed that it was better than what was happening inside. “Can I remove my shoes? My feet are really hurting.”
“I’ll help you.” Yuta quickly kneeled in front of the girl to remove the strap of her sandals and she giggled, making him look up at her. “Why?”
“I just can’t imagine I’ll make the prince kneel before me three times.” Three times? So she did remember when they first met. “I remember the garden and your smile, promising me that we’ll play together.”
Yuta smiled. “I did.” Then stood up, holding the princess’ sandals. “Are you alright with being barefoot?” She nodded, smiling widely. “I can’t believe you can still remember that time. I’m sorry for refusing to play with you.”
The girl laughed, “I understand how offended you were when I rejected the idea of getting married to you. I’m sorry, your highness.” How did she know that? “I was young. I didn’t really understand what marriage was. But in my defense, they shouldn’t be talking about those things in front of a child.” Yuta nodded.
“Then does this mean you’re considering marriage now?”
“The whole party is for me to find a good husband. My parents wouldn’t tell me that but with the number of bachelors they invited, I’m pretty sure that was what they wanted.” She claimed then breathed heavily. Her voice sounded so serious, so sad. It wasn't that long ago when he had a conversation with the enthusiastic girl, why did she suddenly change? “My father is right. As a princess, I have a duty to the East kingdom and that is to find a qualified man to rule the kingdom.”
A qualified man? What does it take to be a qualified man?
“Am I a qualified man?”
She giggled and then nodded. “You’re the most qualified man.” Then her expression darkened that worried Yuta. “But I don’t want to marry a prince.” His heart dropped to the ground at the statement, “No offense, your highness. I enjoy talking to you and I like your smile. But marrying you would only make us both miserable. I’m pleased that our parents talked about us getting married while we’re young.” She returned her gaze to the small pond in the middle of the garden. “But you’ll be stuck with a girl you don’t love and I’ll be stuck in the box that the monarchy created.”
Of course, Yuta realized. She’s a girl who knows what she wants in life and being married to him, the future king of the land, would only be a huge responsibility for her. She might not achieve her dreams when he marries her.
But there’s always a flaw in the system. Yuta knew that even at a young age.
“You are my first love,” he confessed. The surprise on her face only made Yuta smile. Does she not expect it? “I always think about your smile, about your voice, about your laugh. When I saw you dancing with the other men, my body was raging in jealousy. I wanted to keep you for myself, wanted to keep that smile for myself.”
“Your highness, you can’t.”
“We’re both children of our parents, we’re both next in line to the throne. Why can’t a princess do the job expected of a prince?” Yuta turned to her, the smile in her eyes that he was so used to seeing was replaced with tears. “I can’t promise you a lot of things but I’ll make sure to keep that smile on your face. It is my duty as the prince of the North kingdom.”
Yuta kneeled in front of her once again, mumbling that this is the fourth time. “I won’t force you to marry me, I’ll wait until you make your decision. But if you accept me, let us break the traditions of this monarchy.”
“Together, my princess.”
—---
Yuta's mind was clouded with the thoughts of what happened that night. He didn't just confess to her his feelings, he even asked her for marriage. If he had all the hopes to see her again, he was sure that it's gone now. His mother, who returned early from their trip, kept on asking him about what happened during the ball but Yuta remained mum about it.
Then one morning, the royal maid announced that the Princess of the East Kingdom was visiting which surprised Yuta. What if she had made her decision? What if she doesn't really want to marry him and the princess already found the person she wanted to marry?
She appeared in a light blue dress, the same hue as when she first came into their palace. Except, she's more mature now. A lady. "Apologies, your majesty. I came here unannounced."
"I apologize, Princess. Your majesty, the king, isn't here at the moment. Do you wish to speak to him?"
She shook her head before looking at Yuta. "I wish to talk personally to the prince." Yuta stopped eating his meal then stared at the girl who looked awkward. "I will just wait outside."
"No, I'm done," he claimed then wiped his mouth with a napkin before standing up and excusing himself from his mother. "Shall we go to the garden and talk?"
It was awkward. If Yuta only knew that this will happen, he shouldn’t have confessed. How can he even face her now? But this is better. He did miss her. And seeing her today had boosted his mood. “I received Scholar Hong’s invitation to learn herbology from him. Thank you for recommending me, your highness.”
It is the least he can do for her. Yuta promised that he’ll make sure the princess will be happy and if she wanted to be an herbalist, isn’t it best to recommend her to the best herbalist in the whole of the four kingdoms? “I have thought hard about it and although father will be furious, I would accept the offer and be a herbalist.”
Yuta stopped in his tracks and then smiled at her. “I’m so proud of your decision, princess.”
“I also thought about what you said during the ball,” She started. Yuta turned around to hide the redness of his face. That was an embarrassing night. Maybe she is really here to reject him. “I remembered crying a lot when we were younger while heading home because you didn’t play with me. I remembered smiling to my sleep when I received the necklace you bought for me.” The girl giggled then touched the necklace she’s wearing. “And I think about your body at night.”
Yuta turned to her, confusion etched on his face. Is she trying to say what he thought she was saying? “You are also my first love, Prince Yuta.”
“But I was so scared that I will never be a great queen that would help you reign the kingdom. Maybe if I became a herbalist, I can still stay next to you.”
“Why can’t you be both?” Yuta asked as he stepped forward. “I told you that we’ll break the tradition together. I’m willing to let you go to every land you want and I’ll patiently wait for you here in the castle. Anything to make you happy, my princess.”
“If we get married, can I ride your horse?”
Yuta smiled. “I’ll buy you your own.” The girl smiled, tears welling in her eyes. But unlike the first time he saw this expression, she seemed happier today. Tears of joy, perhaps. He kneeled, the fifth time he had kneeled in front of her. And he hoped this time will be the charm. “Will you marry me, my princess?”
He held his breath as he watched her contemplate her answer. The moment she nodded while a soft ‘yes’ appearing on her lips, he felt his heart drop to the ground.
There’s no one he would love the most in the world but her.
—---
‘I am writing to let you know that I miss you’
Yuta crumpled the paper before throwing it into the pile of papers he had been writing on earlier. He groaned then hit his forehead on the table, annoyed. “I miss you,” he whined then stared at the huge painting of him and her on the day of their wedding. “When are you coming home, my wife?”
The scholar who was inside the room shook his head before placing a sheet of paper in front of him. “I can write the letter for you, your highness.” But Yuta shook his head. He wanted her to receive a heartfelt letter from him and maybe she’ll start thinking of coming back home to him.
He shouldn’t have let her go to the South Kingdom for the spring floral blooms.
The knock on the door disturbed his thoughts, the royal maid announcing that the princess is back which made his eyes sparkle in joy. He pulled the curtains and saw the white horse coming through the castle gates. She’s really back.
Yuta hurriedly ran to the entrance of the castle, cursing at how there were too many stairs before reaching her. The princess was already standing at the entrance, smiling at him when he reached the bottom of the stairs. Y/N did a curtsy in front of him, “I am back, my prince. Apologies I had to stay too long in the South Kingdom, their azaleas are really majestic and I cannot resist…" She stopped when Yuta hugged her.
"I miss you."
"Me too, my prince." she whispered, wrapping her arms around him.
He lightly pushed her to see her from head to toe. "Are you alright? Were you hurt during your trip?" The girl giggled, ensuring that she wasn't hurt at all. "I have to see it with my own eyes."
The princess squealed when he started carrying her bridal style, carrying her upstairs. "Why do we have too many stairs?" she complained and he giggled.
"I'll ask for a renovation tomorrow."
Yuta carefully removed the princess’ layer of clothes once inside the room, repeatedly hissing at how she was wearing too much. He pulled all the strings of her corset, kissing the skin being revealed. He made sure that she didn’t have any scratches or bruises, the same skin he feasted on the night of their wedding.
He kissed every inch of her skin sensually, making sure to ask what happened whenever he noticed something has changed even if it was just a slight change in the color of the skin. “It’s because of riding under the sun. It’s nothing to be bothered about.” she assured.
Her body was pressed to the mattress as he hovered above her, whispering how much he misses her as he pressed butterfly kisses on her skin. “Maybe I should take a bath first, my prince.”
But the male shook his head, “You smell like flowers, my princess.”
Yuta can feel his heart beating fast as his body was in contact with hers. The same feeling he had the night they first consummate their wedding. The taste of her lips, the scent of her skin fueling the senses that made the fire inside him burn. “I love you, Y/N.”
“I love you, Yuta.” she whispered followed by a moan when he thrust in her. He laced his fingers on hers, pushing himself closer. To be one with her.
He was startled when she pushed his body to the other side of the bed, sitting on top of him. “What…?” But the adulterated pleasure on her face, while riding him, earned a guttural groan from him. Her hands were placed on his bare chest, nails digging into his skin. Her body alternated in rocking and bouncing on his manhood which made Yuta laugh. Where did she learn all of this? He had always been turned on by her, even if she was clothed. But witnessing her, pleasured on top of him, makes him want to explode. “My princess…” he called in a breathless voice, “I’m close.”
She didn’t stop and if possible, he felt how tight she got at his statement. So tight that Yuta cannot take it anymore. He held on to the headboard of the bed before jerking his hip, earning a strangled moan from the female. She convulsed on his body, at the same time as he released inside her.
Her forehead was dripping in sweat when she cuddle on his chest. “The court ladies were telling me that the technique to have a son is for the female to be on top.” Yuta chuckled, kissing her cheek. “The majesty would be delighted to have a grandson.”
He smiled at her. How considerate of her. “I thought you don’t want to bear a child yet.”
She snuggled closer, if that was possible. “I’ve seen how adorable the children from the other lands are. I think I started yearning for one.” Y/N kissed him on the lips, his hands on her waist. “That is why I came home early.”
“You weren't supposed to come home?”
“I promised the princess of the South Kingdom that I’ll help her with her debut ball,” she claimed, fingers grazing on his chest. “We should go to the ball together.”
The prince nodded. “But before that, we should try the position of having a daughter.” Yuta had to push her to the mattress and she squealed, fingers threading on his hair as he hovered on her.
—--
The debut ball of the princess of the South Kingdom was extravagant, fancier than Y/N’s. But his wife is still the fairest of them all. If possible, she completely stole the spotlight from the debutant in her dark purple dress. She’s still very beautiful in his eyes.
A fact, he realized, after the prince of the South kingdom greeted him. “It’s a pleasure to see you here, Prince Yuta. I have always wanted to visit your kingdom.” Does he? The kingdom is open to everyone and ever since the East and North merged, the resources had been more accessible to travelers and merchants. “I would like to ask for your sister’s hand in marriage.”
“My sister?”
“Princess Y/N,” he whispered while staring at the said girl coming their way. “My parents are very fond of her and it’s love at first sight. She’s the girl I want to spend my life with.”
Yuta had an incredulous look on his face. Is he serious? If they’re in the North Kingdom, he’ll definitely come back with a lot of broken bones and a missing head. “Your highness,” Y/N greeted the two men. “Have you met each other?”
The prince from the South nodded, smiling widely which made Yuta glare. “I would like to extend my gratitude for the amazing wine you have sent to the kingdom.” Wine? Yuta thought. That was from him? He actually enjoyed that wine. Now, it feels like poison in his tongue.
“It’s a little gift for helping my sister, princess.” The song changed and Yuta just watched how the other male extended his hand for the girl to take, “Can I ask for this dance with you, princess?”
Y/N glanced at Yuta before smiling at the other male, “Apologies, your highness. I don’t think it is appropriate to dance with another male other than my husband.”
“Husband?”
Yuta smirked, “She is my wife. The princess of both the North and East kingdom.” he announced while holding her by the waist. The confusion on the other face was so comical that Yuta had to excuse himself to take the dance with his wife, emphasizing that term. “He thinks you are my sister?” Yuta claimed, laughing. “What a fool!”
The girl had to lightly hit his shoulder, “Why aren’t you introducing yourself as my wife?”
“I did. Maybe he just didn’t hear me or he didn’t listen.” Yuta squinted his eyes at her. But with how lovely she is, Yuta is sure that other males would still fall in love with her even if she’s married. How can he be so lucky with her? “Well, we cannot blame them,” Y/N said in a low voice, arms wrapping around his neck. “This is our first formal event as husband and wife.”
Yuta smiled. It is. From his peripheral view, he saw how some of the males were looking their way. Some young maidens would also stare and giggle whenever he would catch their gazes. Maybe he should claim her as his this way.
He leaned in to kiss her lips, hands holding her waist to pull her closer. His tongue slipped past her lips as he felt her fingers tugging his hair. Maybe this way everyone can understand that they are together. That they belong to each other.
“The princess lend me a room upstairs.” Y/N started that made him curious. “Do you want to try a new position I learned from the queen?”
Yuta chuckled before carrying her in his arms, causing everyone to look at them. “Lead the way, my princess.” At least there weren’t too many stairs here.
Maybe they’ll go to the castle in the West Kingdom and perform their marital duties there next.

Kiss
(Touch Part 1.5)
Tumblr media
Based on a request. This is the only fic that I can write as of this moment. Will there be another part of Touch? Yes. But I’m still plotting the story. Why can’t story ideas just write themselves? I might have finished all the requests by now. 😭

There was something wrong.
Yuta noticed it the moment he came home from his gig. She wasn’t waiting for him like the usual nights, she was already sound asleep. A large pillow was between his and her side of the bed. Maybe she’s just tired so he shrugged it off.
But Yuta knew something is indeed wrong when he woke up hearing the rustling from his girlfriend.
Why is she up so early? And why is she already wearing her work clothes? He licked his lips at the sight of her curvaceous hips hugged by the tight pencil skirt. Y/N was putting on her bright red lipstick that made Yuta smirk in admiration. God, she is hot!
He stood up then wrapped his arms around her waist, placing a kiss on her neck while grazing his morning wood on the back of her thigh. “Babe, let’s go back to bed. It’s still early.”
She stepped to the side, removing his hold on her then pick up her scrunchie to tie her hair in a ponytail. “A quickie then,” She glared then rolled her eyes while lightly pushing him to walk past him, leaving Yuta in shock.
Why is she mad at him? Is it her time of the month? He should have fucked a baby in her to stop these mood swings of hers. But isn’t it too early for her to have her monthly menstruation?
“My little princess,” he called heading outside the room to see her wearing her heeled shoes for work, glaring at him as if annoyed. She had always hated that nickname but looks so cute getting mad at him whenever he calls her that nickname. “No good morning kiss? No goodbye kiss as well?”
“Kiss yourself, bastard.” She whispered, which he clearly heard, took her bag, and stood up to leave.
Something is definitely wrong.
In an instant, Yuta was in front of her and blocking her way out of the door. “Did I do something wrong?” She only glared and he squinted his eyes at her. She’s so easy to read. Yuta leaned in to hold the back of her thighs, carrying her on his shoulder much to her revolt. He gently dropped her to the couch as he sat beside her and held her legs to prevent her from moving away. “I don’t want you to leave without telling me why you’re angry.” She remained quiet and Yuta groaned, “What did I do?”
He tried to remember everything he did the past week. Did he forget her birthday? That’s unlikely. And their anniversary is one of the most important dates in his life so it’s out of the equation again. What did he do to make her mad like this? Y/N took her phone from her blazer pocket, “You said you have a lunch meeting yesterday,” she started and Yuta nodded as she showed him a picture taken of him and a girl inside a coffee shop. “You could just tell me if you’re seeing another girl. Why do you have to lie? And can you please just let me look for another apartment before you throw me out?”
“What?” he asked in surprise, “Why would I throw you out?”
She gave a breathy sigh, “Well, you have a new girl.”
Yuta had a playful smile on his face. Why is she so fucking cute? “She’s an entertainment representative who happened to discover the band.” he claimed then pointed at the picture, “I treated her to coffee because she paid for lunch,” he explained. “This is all just a misunderstanding, baby. I don’t have a new girl and I swear that the next girl I’m going to love is our daughter.”
He reached out to hold her cheek but she moved her head away, earning an eyebrow raise from him. “No kiss and no touch? Aren’t you torturing me too much, Y/N?” Yuta had to pull her closer using her legs. “Why aren’t you wearing stockings? Those horny guys at your workplace will have a field day.”
She was now sitting on his lap and Yuta leaned close to her neck, placing a kiss on the side near her nape. He harshly sucked on the spot which made her squirm. He licked the reddish mark before giving her a wide grin. “You can keep your hair in a ponytail and let everyone see your hickey or put down your hair. I’m good with both ways.” Defeated, she tugged on her ponytail, rolling her eyes that made Yuta pull her closer, wrapping her in his arms tight.
A car horn can be heard making Y/N lightly push Yuta but he pulled her closer once again. “Give me five minutes,” he ordered, hugging her by the waist and resting his head on her shoulder. “Although you’re so cute when you’re mad, I don’t want you to be mad like this again.” He brushed her hair away from her shoulder, staring deep into her eyes. “You’re the only girl I want, Y/N. No other girl would replace you so don’t get jealous like this again.” The girl pouted, muttering an apology. “You’re so cute, you might send me into a heart attack.”
Yuta kissed her on the lips, a quick smack. “The missed goodnight kiss,” He kissed her again, “Good morning kiss.” Then he kissed her again, parting her lips with his tongue and sucking on her bottom lip. “Goodbye kiss.” He repeated the same action, kissing her until she gasped for air. “Go home early.”
The girl stood up, fixing her skirt and blazer. “I love you.” she said still with coldness in her voice.
Yuta chuckled. Why is his girlfriend so cute? “I love you,” He muttered, helping her with her bag and opening the door for her. “My little princess.”
Y/N glared and he chuckled as the door closed. God, why is his girlfriend so cute and hot at the same time? Certainly, there’s no one like her.
And Yuta makes sure to show her how much he only wanted her in his life. It probably is the right time to take out the handcuffs and her favorite rabbit vibrator for tonight’s punishment.

Cupid
(Last Part)

Part One - Part Two - Part Three - Part Four - Part Five - Part Six
pairing: musician! single dad! Yuta Nakamoto x researcher! Y/N  chapter word count: 4.3k words  genre: chaptered, angst, fluff  summary: What Keiko wants, Keiko gets.    warnings: cursing, drama, rushed writing taglist: @nuoyipeach @nominsgirl @what-sarah @anntheboneless @ytzvivi @nctcafe @channie301 @a-bts-world @starryneos @queensnowdon
I’m sorry this was late. Please enjoy and let me know what you feel about this series. Thank you so much for supporting me and believing that I can finish this series. I hope you have a good time amidst all the drama and rollercoaster of emotion. 🥰
Yuta woke up early and did his usual: stretching, drinking water, and thinking of what to cook for breakfast. Maybe he’ll cook some burger steak for Keiko, she loves that. Maybe they can also send Y/N some food for breakfast.
He glanced at his phone and realized that he forgot to call her last night. Fuck, he was so occupied with everything that happened earlier so he forgot. Why must he see that woman again? She's already back in the country? But then it was coincidental, nothing bad would happen, right?
He went back to his phone, hoping that Y/N isn't mad. Is she already awake though? Yuta was about to click her contact when he heard a loud banging on the door. Who would even come this early?
Once he opened the door, he was startled to see an older woman in fancy clothes standing in his doorway. “Where’s my granddaughter?” She walked inside his house without a word, glancing around. Why is she even here? How did she manage to find them? “I’m going to take my granddaughter.”
“What?” Yuta asked in disbelief, the words she said echoing in his ear. “You cannot take Keiko,” he said in a loud voice that startled the older woman. “You hated her, you cursed at her. You blamed her for her own mother’s death. Why would you want to take Keiko now?”
“She's ours. We can take care of her better. We can give her everything she wants.” the older woman claimed, making Yuta flabbergasted. After all these years? They never cared about his daughter. Why would she come now? Fuck! He knew something bad would happen.
“And you should know that we have the right to Misa's daughter.”
“Our daughter!" Yuta shouted.
The older woman shoved pieces of papers in front of him, pages of what looked like a diary. Misa’s diary. “Yuta, you were well aware that Keiko is not your daughter.”
He could clearly see the words ‘I told Yuta I’m pregnant and he’s willing to take care of my child. Where can you get a man like him?’ as he crumpled it in anger.
“You have no right to keep Keiko. I can sue you for kidnapping over this.” Yuta glared. Kidnapping? Is she kidding right now? “You took my daughter away from us, I cannot let you take away my granddaughter too.” He could feel his face heat up in anger. After all these years, she still hasn’t changed, doesn’t she? Doesn’t she realize that it was the reason why her daughters don't want to stay with her? Is that why she wants to take Keiko? "Now, give me Misa's daughter."
"You can't," Yuta said in gritted teeth, brushing his hair up in frustration. "Let me talk to Keiko first."
"I’ll give you a day or I can put you in jail, Yuta Nakamoto.” Then she left as fast as she came in.
He slammed the door shut, covered his face then shouted. This is so fucking frustrating! He then took a glass of water from the kitchen to calm himself up. Should he just run away with Keiko? They did it before, they can do that again. He should have told Keiko everything beforehand. But he shook his head, she's still young she wouldn't understand.
A day. He still has a day. He'll figure it out later but now, he needs to prepare breakfast for his daughter. What happened that morning kept on replying in his mind as the sizzles of the bacon can be heard. Should he seek legal help? Maybe Y/N knows some lawyers that can help with this. But he doesn't want her to be involved in this.
His phone vibrated. Y/N. He was just thinking about her. “Yuta, Keiko is here with me.”
"Huh? That can't be, Keiko is still sleeping." He lightly glanced at the stairs. There's no sign of Keiko yet. Is she having a good sleep? She should be up at this hour. Yuta didn't know what Y/N did but he can really hear Keiko's voice in her background. Wait, what?
Immediately, he ran upstairs and inside his daughter's room, surprised that it was empty. "Wait, how?"
"It's a long story." Yuta was already running down, looking for his wallet and a jacket to pick Keiko up. "She just stopped crying." He stopped and felt his heart drop from his chest. She was crying? “Can you just wait for us at the apartment? I kinda told Keiko I won’t call you.” Is she mad at him? "We'll get breakfast on our way back." He hummed to at least let her know that he was still listening to her.
"Yuta," she called weakly, "You should start telling Keiko everything."
Yuta kept on tapping his foot on the floor, pacing back and forth in the hallway of Y/N’s apartment unit. He should start collecting his thoughts to explain everything to Keiko. Based on what Y/N had supplied him, Keiko is already calmed. That only meant that she cried a lot. How much did she even hear from this morning to feel like this? What should he do now?
A ding resonated through the whole floor and he stopped to watch Y/N and Keiko exit the elevators. The younger girl stopped in her tracks seeing him, “You said you won’t tell him. ”He heard her say in a soft voice before hiding behind the older girl. “You also lied to me, unnie.”
Y/N quickly crouched down to be on the same level as her, holding her hands. “I’m sorry Kei but your dad will be worried if…”
“He’s not my dad.” So she really heard everything. “He’s going to give me away.” Her voice wavered, tears welling in her eyes. “He’s going to give me to people I don’t even know.”
“I won't.” Yuta revolted, voice raising in volume and the younger child flinched. She wrapped her arms around the older girl then cried loudly. The older guy sighed when Y/N glanced at him then leaned his back on the wall. Shit! He's just making everything worse.
“Kei,” Y/N’s soft voice can be heard. “Why did you come to my office today?”
The child sniffed before whispering, “Because I trust you.” Y/N smiled and Keiko continued her words, “You listen to me. You understand me. You always take care of me.”
The older woman smiled, holding her cheek. “Didn’t Yuta take care and listen to you since you were a child?” The younger girl nodded. “Then why can’t you trust him?”
Keiko’s glassy eyes turned to him. He remembered the countless thundering nights that Keiko would look at him like this. She isn’t sad, he realized. She’s scared. And it breaks his heart knowing that he did it to his daughter.
Yuta kneeled beside Y/N, hand caressing the younger girl’s arm. “Keiko, I won’t give you away.” he said calmly, “I would die first before they take you away from me.” She unclasped her arms from Y/N and transferred to Yuta’s arm, crying loudly on his chest. “I’ll make sure they won’t take you away from me, my daughter.”
—-----
Y/N was in the kitchen, in front of her laptop, when Yuta came in after tucking Keiko to sleep. Crying might have tired her out that she was knocked cold the moment she lay on the mattress. It’s not even nighttime yet. “Is she asleep?” Yuta nodded, sitting on the chair in front of her. “Are you alright?”
It has been a rollercoaster of emotion. He isn't even sure if he’s alright. “Can I borrow you for a while?” The girl smiled before nodding, closing her laptop. Yuta moved to the chair next to her and she opened her arms wide for a hug. He lay his head on her shoulder, her hands rubbing his back. “I’m scared.” He whispered, “I want to keep taking care of Keiko but she's right, I don't have any rights on her."
Y/N breathed hard while calling his name softly, fingers threading on his hair. “Do you know that she’s not your daughter?”
“I went out of town for a week because of a tour. Misa told me she drank with her friends and I was fine with it.” Yuta shared, remembering the moment his then-girlfriend told him about a stranger she met in the club with who she spent the night. He was so in love with her that he could not be angry so he let it pass. That was a drunk mistake, he reasoned out. “A few months later, she told me that she’s pregnant and we both knew that it’s from that one-night stand.” He smiled bitterly, “She wanted to abort the child and I made the promise to take care of her and her child. Our child.”
"I should have told Keiko everything. I was so scared that she'd hate me if she found out. That my parents would also hate Keiko if they found out that she's not mine." He snuggled closer, "I don't want to lose her. She's my everything."
Y/N breathed heavily then started fanning her face, surprising him. “Are you going to cry? Please don’t. I can’t calm another crying girl again.” He teased but she just giggled while shaking her head.
“This isn’t the right time but I feel like my heart will just explode because of you.” Yuta chuckled. And here he is getting worried about her. “I didn’t know it’s possible to fall that deep for a person.”
Yuta smiled and she mirrored the same expression, “Yuta, everything will be alright.” She slipped her hand on his, thumb playing with his fingers. “You have to trust your daughter. She's really smart, I'm sure she can understand everything." Yuta leaned his head on her shoulder, “I know she’s still young but you should let Keiko choose where she wants to go.”
"But what if she doesn't want to stay with me?"
"Just trust Keiko, hmm? She loves you more than anything in this world.” The side of his lips curled up, eyes focused on their interlaced hands. He should do that.
"Yuta, are you sure you're not Keiko's father?" He only gave her a confused look. What does she mean by that?
--------
Keiko was swinging her leg on the chair, fiddling with the napkins above the table. She must be more scared than he is. But he promised to trust her. Yuta realized how big Keiko is now. She isn't the same child he kept on carrying when she was young, the child who held his hand while learning how to walk. He should stop pretending that she's still his baby.
When the older woman came, he felt the cold sweat on his forehead. Yuta didn’t need to introduce her to Keiko but she was already posing her authority over the younger girl. “I’m glad you’ve decided to give Keiko to me.”
“I didn’t,” Yuta answered in a monotone that obviously surprised the older woman. “Keiko doesn’t know you well. It’s scaring my daughter.”
“I’ll let you visit her.”
“Keiko will make a decision for herself.” He breathed hard then glanced at the younger girl who looked surprised at what he said. “We should at least let her decide where she wants to go.”
He gave Keiko a warm smile, urging her to think about it. “I want to stay with Yuta.” Keiko said in a small voice. “He’s not my real dad but he took care of me when you didn’t. I want to stay with my dad.”
Yuta smiled timidly at the younger girl beside him. “You can visit Keiko if you want. I’ll let her visit Misa whenever she wants to but Keiko is staying with me.”
“Nonsense!” the older woman shouted which made Keiko flinch. “Of course, you’ve conditioned her to stay with you. She’ll have a better future with us. This is kidnapping, Yuta. You have no right…”
Yuta slipped a piece of paper on top of the table. “This is Keiko’s birth certificate,” He pointed at the box where the name of the father of the child is written. His name. “I have every right to take care of Keiko.” He looked at the older with fiery eyes. “And if you tried to take Keiko away from me, I can sue you for kidnapping.”
Another lady entered the restaurant and Yuta looked relieved that Mari was here. “You cannot keep her.” her mom shouted. “She’s ours. You have to return Misa from us.”
“Mom!” Mari shouted, holding her mother’s cheeks. She looked so tired, Yuta noted. “Misa is already gone. We cannot bring her back and she’s the one who decided to leave us.” The older woman broke down at the words uttered by her daughter. Mari breathed hard, “I know it’s hard for you, mom. But do you imagine how hard it was for Keiko to grow up without her mom? Yuta already did a great job filling that spot for us, let’s not make it hard for them please.”
It really was a good thing that Mari called him that morning asking why her mom received a call from him. She was surprised when he said that her mom paid him a visit and was threatening to get Keiko. Mari kept on apologizing, promising that she’ll talk to her mom.
Keiko stood up from her chair then went next to the older woman. “I’ll visit you from time to time,” The older woman only stared at Keiko who reached out a hand to hold hers. “...grandma.”
It was a good talk, he had to note. He promised that Keiko will visit monthly, even letting her stay in their place during the weekends. When the older woman left, Mari only gave Yuta a triumphant smile. “How did you even manage to get Keiko’s birth certificate?”
Yuta smiled remembering the conversation he had with the lawyer at Y/N’s company. It was a long shot and he was apologetic for disturbing her co-worker but Y/N was really persuasive. In the end, he just asked a simple question of ‘Are you written as her father in her birth certificate?’
“My girlfriend pulled some strings to get this from the hospital.” He honestly didn’t know how she did it, he only heard about the latest machine to be donated in the hospital, and she was already printing a copy of her daughter’s birth certificate. He honestly can’t do this without Y/N.
“Thank you for taking care of Keiko, Yuta.” He smiled at Mari, “And I’m glad you look happier now.”
Mari excused herself to leave for a shoot. “You should visit us sometimes,” Keiko said shyly then continued, “...auntie.” The older girl smiled.
Yuta breathed a sigh of relief then leaned on his chair the moment the door closed. He turned to Keiko who was reading her birth certificate, “Kei, do you want to see your mom?” The younger looked at him with shining eyes, nodding enthusiastically.
—----
“She looks the same as Aunt Mari,” Keiko noted, sitting on the floor while gazing at her mother’s picture next to her urn.
Yuta smiled, placing the flowers on the floor and sitting beside his daughter. “She looks like you.”
“Do you miss her, daddy?”
“Always.” Yuta whispered, “I’ve always imagined that you’ll grow up better if your mom is here with us. You won't cry that much and you’ll be happier.”
Keiko smiled, “But I am happy.” Yuta bit his lip to prevent himself from smiling. Keiko grew up well, it’s surprising to him. How lucky is he to have his daughter in his life? “I have you.” She said shyly then glanced at her mom’s picture, “And mom is looking out for me from heaven.” He nodded, brushing the younger girl’s hair. “Maybe mom is happy in heaven now.”
“She probably is.” And seeing Keiko now, he knew Misa would be. “Kei, thank you for trusting me and staying with me.” Yuta started that made the younger look at him while smiling, “I cannot give you everything that you want but daddy will try to do everything to make you happy, Kei.”
Keiko fidgeted on her seat, rubbing her legs as if nervous. “There’s something I want that you can give me.” Yuta gave her a confused look. “Unnie,” she continued, “Y/N unnie as my mom.”
His laughter echoed through the whole columbarium. “I want that, too.” He ruffled Keiko’s hair and she whined playfully, “Then, can you help me, my little cupid?” Keiko nodded, enthusiasm etched on her face.
—----
Yuta kept on pacing back and forth, biting his thumb while blowing heavy breaths. Keiko laughed, seeing him turn the plate again above the table. "Daddy, can you please calm down?"
"What if she says no?" He brushed his hair up. "Do I look fine?"
The younger girl laughed once again. "Unnie will love you so don't worry." she assured, "I am your cupid after all." She even played with her plastic bow and shot the plastic arrow which made Yuta laugh. He breathed heavily when the doorbell rang. Keiko skipped after giving her father a fighting sign. The lights were closed and he could easily hear her laugh when the door opened, "You looked cute in your outfit."
The younger convinced him to wear her white and red dress with small hearts, she even wore those little angel wings he bought for her last Halloween. When he called her a cupid, he didn't expect that she'd dress up for it. But she looks so happy. Who is he to take that happiness away?
"So you're a little cupid?" Y/N's voice was nearer and he could feel his heart stammering harder in his chest. When was the last time he made a surprise like this? What if he fails? "What's with the lights and…?" She stopped once they entered the dining room where Yuta was standing beside the table, adorned with candlelight and flowers. "Oh."
"Hi?" Yuta greeted her and pulled a chair for her to sit on. "I hope you haven't had dinner yet."
She thanked him quietly, "I already did but the steak looks so good so let’s eat some more." Yuta chuckled lightly, helping Keiko on her chair before sitting next to them. "But what's with the candlelight dinner?"
"Nothing." he reasoned out. Yuta took the wine and opened it with a pop. "Do you want some wine?"
Y/N nodded and he poured some on her glass. "Can I have some wine, too?" Keiko asked, which made the older girl laugh. She slipped the glass of wine in front of her, urging her to take a sip. Yuta was laughing when Keiko started wincing at the taste and just drank her juice. "It tastes so bad."
Dinner was full of Keiko's stories. She shared to Y/N that she visited her mom and that she looks very much like her. She even shared stories of when she spent time with her aunt Mari while she was filming a drama, "There were a lot of lights and a lot of cameras. But all the people were shouting at each other."
Y/N laughed and Yuta smiled. He remembered the first time she came to their home, he loved how her laugh was so contagious. The same laugh he wanted to hear again and again.
She was so attentive to Keiko, cutting the steak for her and even refilling her juice. A trait he had always found attractive from her. She had such a motherly charm. And she eats so well that even Keiko is picking up her habits.
"Do you want some dessert, unnie?" Keiko said that snapped Yuta in his senses. Wait, already? "We have ice cream, I'll just go get it."
"Do you need help?" But Keiko was shaking her head, grinning at them. Once they were left alone, Yuta sighed. So this is it? He should start saying his line, the one he practiced with Keiko. What was it again? Why is he suddenly so blank? "Are you alright? You seemed so quiet."
Yuta nodded. Great, he forgot what he was going to say. Fuck! Where is Keiko when you need her? The panic in his expression might be so obvious that Y/N laughed. “Why are you so nervous?” Keiko entered the dining area. “It’s not like you’re proposing.”
Shit!
“This is for you, unnie.”  the younger girl handed the older a glass with mango ice cream. Yuta gave Keiko a look, shaking his head. “And this is mine.” She put the glass of chocolate ice cream in front of her.
“I kinda want the chocolate one,” Y/N claimed but Keiko shook her head, saying that the mango ice cream is especially for her. “You should scoop deeper.” The younger commanded.
Fuck!
Y/N was staring at the gold ring on the spoon, covered by the yellow ice cream. Yuta hissed and immediately stood up, only to kneel in front of her. “I’m sorry, Y/N.” Keiko looked startled at his words. “I didn’t realize that everything was too fast. I just…” Yuta breathed hard then brushed his hair up. “Fuck!” he cursed that made the younger girl gasp. “I want you.” Then he shook his head. “That sounded wrong. I wanted you in my life. I wanted to be with you. I wanted you to be in mine and Keiko’s life.”
“When Keiko said that she wanted you to be her mom, I figured I should just propose to you without thinking that this was too fast.” Yuta hissed under his breath. “I like you so much I don’t want to lose you.” He hung his head low, looking at the ground to avoid her reaction. He should have thought about doing this surprise better. “I understand if you say no. This is such a failure.”
Instead of a serious no, he heard her giggle. Yuta was so surprised that he looked at her, seeing her staring at him warmly. “After your cute rant, do you really think I’ll decline? Yuta Nakamoto, you have no idea how much I’m in love with you.” She said with a smile, “Can you please stand up? This is kind of awkward.”
Yuta obeyed and sat on the chair next to her. “I have to agree that everything is so fast but I want you to know that I also want to be with you and Keiko. So…” She handed the ring to Keiko who was looking at it in confusion. “Please keep it for me in the meantime, Kei.” The younger one nodded. “Until I’m ready to ask your dad for marriage.”
“Y/N, you also have no idea how much I love you.” Yuta sighed and she giggled. “I would say yes in a heartbeat.”
Keiko lunged herself to hug Y/N before pulling Yuta closer. “I’m excited to have you both as my mom and dad.” Y/N and Yuta just looked at each other, smiling warmly.
“Daddy, that’s wrong!” Keiko whined with a pout and Yuta looked at the metal he was holding. “Please help me,” Y/N looked up from her laptop, smiling at the two of them. “...mommy.”
She stood up then sat cross-legged beside Yuta. “What’s wrong?”
Keiko sighed then fixed the part Yuta had been working on since earlier. “Daddy is bad at this. He can’t even make the arm of the robot.” Keiko explained some things that Yuta cannot comprehend and Y/N just nodded at her, confusing him. Does she understand what she meant? Is it a girl thing? Or because they’re both so interested in robots? He can’t blame Keiko for knowing these things since Y/N brought her to work as her little assistant once.
Yuta pouted while the two girls focused on building the robot. He remembered how they would bond in make-up and hair braiding, which he slowly learned. Now, they’re both doing robots. He tried to help by copying what Keiko was doing but the younger one just whined. “That’s the robot’s leg, daddy. How are you so bad at this?”
“Well I’m better at making real babies, not robots.” he whispered and Y/N giggled, nodding at him.
“Daddy is good at cooking though.” the older girl cleared. “And we’re both bad at it. I think that’s just fair.” Yuta laughed, pulling the girl beside him closer by the waist. She really has an unusual way of cheering him up. She always brings out the best in both him and Keiko that he cannot imagine a life without her. Keiko wouldn’t be this happy without her. His daughter wouldn’t even be here with him if not for her. He’s glad they met her.
And it was all because of a robot.
“What are you going to name your robot, honey?” the older woman asked as the robot was starting to form.
“Cupid,” Keiko answered. “Its mission is to find love like yours.”
Come to think of it, it really is meant to be.
If Keiko wouldn’t like Y/N first, she wouldn’t be here with them. His little cupid. His everything.
Also, if not for his lack of knowledge he wouldn’t even meet her. His now wife. His happiness.
He wouldn’t have his everything without his happiness. He wouldn’t have his happiness without his everything. He wouldn’t even have his everything and his happiness without his two girls. How lucky can he get?
“Cupid and I are going to find Uncle Taeil and Aunt Mari love.”
Y/N giggled and Yuta smiled, “I’m pretty sure you can do it, our cupid.”

pairing : dad! Yuta Nakamoto x mom! Reader, Shiho, Shin (ft. NCT 127 Members)
genre: fluff
word count: 1.7k

a/n: Welcome to another episode of dad! Yuta. I miss writing for Shiho. I tried my best to put all members of NCT 127 but I might make another one where it’s more focused on them. I also feel bad that I can’t post some AUs lately so I’ll post two scenarios today and ghost you all. 😂
Yuta watched in amusement as little six-year-olds started going out of the door in a line. They’re so cute. But what made him grinned widely is seeing his daughter, smiling. He doesn’t believe it at first when you claimed that your daughter is indeed enjoying school. But here she is, the sunshine of his life, beaming widely.
“Daddy!” She called, running to him. He was quick to carry her, giving her a kiss on the cheek.
He should really pick her up from school more often now. “Hi, princess. Did you have fun today?” Shiho nodded. Yuta opened the door of the car then helped her put on her seatbelt. Her bag was next to her and Yuta smiled at how it was creatively done. Truly, a one-of-a-kind bag. “I got you this.” Shiho smiled when he handed her two yellow roses wrapped in pink paper.
The younger giggled, looking at the flowers as Yuta started dashing to the driver’s seat of the car. “Thank you, daddy.” She said when he started putting on his seatbelt. “Did you get mommy some flowers also?”
“Later,” Yuta answered then adjusted the mirror in front to see Shiho who was just smiling at him. “Mommy is going to the doctors with Shin.”
The happy expression was replaced with a worried one and he smiled. “Is mommy sick?” Yuta shook his head. “Is Shin okay?”
Yuta nodded, smiling at her. “The doctor just needed to check if Shin is healthy. He’s fine.” He assured. “Can you come with daddy to practice today? Then we’ll meet mommy and Shin for dinner later.”
“We’re going to SM?” She asked, wide-eyed. Her dad chuckled, she’s too happy. “Is Mark oppa going to be there?” Surprisingly, he can hear your voice saying, ‘You’re really the same. Even Shiho is obsessed with Mark.’
--
The Japanese NCT member was smiling to himself when they entered the building and Shiho is becoming a real darling greeting all the staff with a bow and a ‘Good afternoon’. “Taeillie, Johnny samchon, Taeyonggie, Yuta…” She was singing the name of each member of her dad’s group inside the elevator that made Yuta chuckle. “Doyoung samchon, Jaehyunnie, Jungwoo oppa, Mark oppa, Haechannie...”
“Who taught you that song?” Yuta asked and she mentioned your name. “Why am I just Yuta? You call them samchon and oppa.”
“I’m not yet done.” Shiho revolted then giggled. “My handsome daddy Yuta who loves mommy, Shiho, and Shin.” Yuta grinned. “Winwin oppa, Jungwoo oppa, and Mark oppa, too.” She continued that made him laugh. Why are you like this? He’s going to make this a really long night for the two of you.
When the father-daughter entered the practice room, the other guys ran to where Shiho is that made the younger giggle. She showed the flowers to Jungwoo, and Jaehyun asked her what she did at school. Yuta put her bag on one corner of the room, next to his things, then watched his daughter in adoration.
He remembered when he first formally introduced you to the guys, they had the same reaction. He never actually saw you the whole night because they kept on talking to you. If not for Doyoung, you wouldn’t have some alone time that night. But that was the time he first realized how much he really liked you. Who would have thought that he’ll have the same feelings while watching his daughter interact with the guys he calls his brothers?
“Where is Mark oppa?” Shiho innocently asked that made Johnny laugh, teasing Yuta that she is indeed his daughter. The youngest kept on thanking Haechan who gave her a strawberry smoothie that he bought with Mark. Taeil gave her some papers to kill time in drawing, even asking her to draw him.
Yuta smiled at the younger girl, crouching down beside her in the practice room. “Will you be alright here? Daddy will just practice.” He said while Taeyong called everyone for practice. Shiho nodded, grinning at him with her toothy smile.
Surprisingly, she really behaved while they were practicing the choreography for their new song in Japanese. Doyoung was just smiling, noticing how she bobbed her head along with the song while busy with her paper and crayons. "You'll probably have a little idol soon." Jaehyun teased.
This is something that you and Yuta have talked about over and over. What if Shiho wanted to be an idol? As cool as you are, you just wanted to support her whatever she wanted in the future. And he wanted to be as cool as you so he promised to be okay with it.
--
You were seated on the couch in the lobby when Yuta and Shiho exited the elevator with the other members. Your daughter was running to you, giving her little brother kisses that made you giggle. "Did Shin cry in the doctors?" You nodded your head at her question. "I'm sorry noona can't come with you." She whispered. You smiled at that, she’s really growing up.
"Hi." You greeted Yuta who gave you a quick kiss on the cheek. "Are you tired? Should we go home?" He shook his head, telling you that you needed to eat dinner since you're all outside. Your husband asked you to take the bags that he placed on the couch as he carried Shin in his arms. You bowed at the other members, thanking them for taking care of Shiho.
Yuta was driving the family car, Shin and Shiho on their child seats. "You should have seen daddy dancing, mommy. He looks mashitta." You giggled at that. It must be really hard for Shiho to learn different languages at once.
"Honey, daddy is meoshitta. Mashitta is delicious." Her eyes widened in the mistake she did that made you smile. "Maybe daddy is also mashitta, do you want to bite daddy?" You teased that made the six-year-old chuckle. Yuta just shook his head, laughing.
He decided to grab dinner in a kids' café near your home. Shin was on a high chair and Shiho was next to him, eating her meal. Once done, she asked if she could play on the slide that made Yuta nod. You needed to tire her out or she'll just stay up all night. Kids' energy really is no joke.
"I can feed, Shin. You should eat more." Yuta volunteered, moving his chair near your son so he could reach him. You only stared at him, smiling as he gave your son some breadsticks to munch on. "I know that look. Do you want me to feed you?" He teased and you nodded, grinning like a small child.
He twirled some spaghetti using a fork then fed you that made him giggle. "Did Shiho bother you earlier? I'm sorry, I should have brought her with me to the doctor."
Yuta shook his head, smiling. "She's really behaved earlier." He explained then gave you some breadsticks as well. "I already feel bad that you had to bring Shin to the doctor alone. Next time we can do this set-up." You nodded, it really is easier since you only focused on one child. "So what did the doctor say?"
You shared what the doctor said, about his teeth growing and his increasing weight and height. "Yuta, I was thinking. Should we transfer to Japan?" He glanced at her in surprise. Why so sudden? "I wanted Shiho to learn Japanese."
"I can teach her Japanese." Yuta volunteered. "We're doing fine here. And Shiho is enjoying school here." He held her cheek. "She will eventually learn Japanese. We can go on a vacation to Osaka on her break."
"Don't worry about it, love. She's still struggling with Korean, Japanese will be easy for her."
--
You always trust Yuta in his decisions especially when it comes to your children. When you're planning to have a child, both your parents would always tell you to talk to each other when it comes to your child. That they matter the most. And it was something that you always keep in mind.
It was a weekend night. Yuta just finished up some things in the office before heading home. You were washing the dishes when you heard a certain voice humming. “Shiho.” You called from the kitchen hearing the six-year-old singing a song. You knew she sings great, something that she got from your husband. But she was singing an unfamiliar song in a foreign language. "What are you singing? Did you learn it from school?"
She shook her head, still focused on the task on her book. "This is daddy's song." You knew all the songs on their past albums. But this is relatively new. You decided to listen more and was surprised that she's singing in Japanese. They do have a Japanese comeback but why would Shiho know that song? "I heard it while the uncles were practicing." But how can she even memorize all that?
A jiggle of the keys was what you heard while folding the laundry, Yuta gave you a kiss on the top of your head. "Are they asleep?"
You shook your head then held your husband's hand, guiding him to Shiho's room. "Listen." You could hear her voice singing to the song she had been singing all day. Yuta's eyes widened in surprise. "Is it really your song?"
He nodded. Not only does she pronounce the words clearly, but she was also clearly in tune. But how? Yuta never played the song in the house. She only heard it while practicing. "Did you give birth to a genius? Her pronunciation is even better than yours." You raised an eyebrow at that. "And she's in tune."
"I do think our children are geniuses. Shin even said mama today."
"He did?"
"But Shiho was the one who heard it."
Yuta smiled, pulling you closer. "They're getting bigger. Maybe it's time for another genius."
You just shook your head smiling at him. "Put Shiho to sleep first and I'll finish things here." Yuta grinned, opening the door to his daughter's room.
You had to laugh at yourself. To think that you're worried about Shiho not learning Japanese. Yet, here she is proving you otherwise. She might really be a genius.
Your children might really be geniuses. Can your family be any more perfect?

His Girls
Tumblr media
Second and final part of His Girl, based on this ask.
characters: vice CEO! Yuta Nakamoto, daughter of CEO! Y/N, Yuri, NCT 96 liners
word count:  5.9k words (woah!)
genre: fluff, angst (if you call this angst)
warnings: an obvious plot twist, language, pregnancy, miscarriage (I’m not sure if that’s the right term), abuse, kidnapping (?), I promised to not put too much drama but yeah, we clowning. 🤪
idea by @nuoyipeach thank you so much Amina for this amazing idea. I had fun writing this. 😍
tagging: @junglewoos @sunshinein17 @locatingmyheart @a-bts-world (I thought you might want to read the second part because of your nice comments from the first one.)
The guy smiled seeing Y/N coming out of her car wearing a white dress. The image of her in the wedding dress flashed in his very mind, that pretty image of her. “You look really good.” He complimented that made her laugh. She whispered that she was nervous before holding his arm. “Like infiltrating an enemy base?” She nodded, making him chuckle. “You’re here as Y/N, not as the chairman’s daughter.” The girl smiled and he mirrored the same expression as hers before the doors opened to the living room.
Confused looks and murmurings can be heard as the two made their way to the ground. Yuta could feel the shivering in her hand and he tapped her hand with his free hand, reassuring her. They stopped in front of his parents and she quickly bowed at them, greeting them. Y/N handed a wine bag for the birthday boy, “Yuta said that you like wines, Mr. Nakamoto.” He nodded, thanking her, before asking his secretary to get the bag.
“Unnie!” Yuri called, grinning at her. “You came.”
Y/N smiled at her, taking her hand. Yuta suddenly felt disappointed that it got cold without her by his side. “Yuri, can you show Ms. Y/N your room?” The girl nodded. The older just gave him a thankful look as Yuri ran upstairs.
“Yuta, what were you thinking? Inviting her here?” His dad asked, making him sigh. “She might be a spy of the other company. What if she gets information for our latest product?”
He closed his eyes before breathing hard. “Dad, she’s not like that. If it helps, she doesn’t care about her dad’s company.”
“How would you know that?”
“Son,” his mom called in a gentle voice. “You’re not in love with this girl, aren’t you?”
Where is this coming from? “No, mom. Yuri just likes her so much and she’s really nice to my daughter. So please, just let this slip.” His mom looked surprised yet nodded at that.
Yuta doesn’t want to say those words, especially to his parents, but it just ticks him off that they’re being so emotional over these things. While getting some crackers, he realized that he’s also being too emotional over this. But really, it’s not that he’s doing something wrong. It’s not wrong to be friends with her. Besides, she’s getting married.
Yuri was introducing her stuffed toys when Yuta entered her room after knocking lightly. He placed the tray of food above the bed, sitting next to Y/N. “And this is Ellie Elephant.” The younger said handing her the pink elephant plushie which made her laugh. “Yuta appa gave this to me yesterday.”
Y/N lightly glanced at Yuta who smiled at that. “In my defense, I didn’t know you like stuffed toys.” He said before giving the younger girl a strawberry but she shook her head. “You don’t like strawberries?”
“I’m allergic to strawberries.” Yuri claimed.
“Me too.” Y/N said and the two girls high-fived. Wow, that’s a waste. And he thought they can finish the strawberries. “Wait, why didn’t you know that she’s allergic?”
Yuta lightly glanced at Yuri but it was the younger one who answered, “I’m adopted. Appa is still getting to know me.”
The other girl gasped in surprise. “Oh my God, I really thought you’re married.” Yuta chuckled, shaking his head. Yuri excused that she’s going to the bathroom that made the two nod. “Is it a legal adoption?”
Yuta shook his head. “I still have a month provision to show the orphanage that I can take care of her. When it gets approved, I’ll take care of the legalities.”
“That’s a big decision.” She whispered. “I never thought about adopting before.”
“What for? You’re getting married, right?” He asked while eating a strawberry, the girl gave him a curious look. “You were wearing the wedding dress.”
She laughed. “The model canceled the last minute so I have to model the dress I made.”
Oh, that makes sense. “But aren’t you dating that Qian Holdings’ son?” He remembered them as the perfect couple in their university. “What was his name again?”
“Qian Kun?” Him. “It’s been six years since we’ve broken up.” Yuta apologized but she only shook her head, smiling at him. It’s that long already? When Yuri returned, Y/N beamed widely while helping her fix her clothes. “Do you like to draw, Yuri?” The younger girl nodded which surprised Yuta.
He smiled as he went out of the room, a plate full of strawberries, as he let the two in their own worlds. Drawing on papers while lying on the floor.
Yuri was crying so much when Y/N said that she needed to go home. She greeted the father a ‘happy birthday’ which only earned a timid smile from him. “Will I see you again?” Yuri cried while Yuta carried her in his arms. Y/N nodded, wiping the tears streaming on her face when she hugged her. Yuta and Y/N's faces were centimeters away from each other that startled them both, one wrong move and they'll probably kiss. “Don’t leave me, eomma.”
The surprise made Yuta stare at the girl who also looked shocked. “Yuri, you’re hurting her.” He said softly. Yuri let go of the hug, crying on his chest. “Miss Y/N is going to call us when she gets home,” Yuta said while staring at the older girl, his hands caressing the younger girl’s back. “And we’ll visit her tomorrow. Don’t worry.”
Yuri looked at him while blinking her tears away. “You promise?” Yuta nodded. She turned to the older girl who only smiled at her nodding. “Pinky promise?” She held out her small finger and Y/N laced her pinky finger on her. Surprisingly, Yuri stopped crying when Y/N entered her car. Yuta sighed, girls really are different.
-----
Yuta found it odd that the two girls both liked flowers, sunflowers to be exact. Maybe it was a girl thing. But it's been constant whenever he and Yuri visit the girl in her shop or even if they ask her to meet them. The younger girl had found an incredible amount of comfort with the girl that she spends more time with Y/N than with Yuta whenever the three were together. Even at home, she can't stop talking about how cool she is and that when she grows up, she wants to be like her.
When she invited them to her home, Yuta felt the nervousness she once felt. Like infiltrating an enemy base. He fully understood why his parents were worried, fully understood why they shouldn't meet. "Is this alright? Your dad…"
But Y/N shook her head, taking the bouquet that Yuri handed to her. "He's not here so it's fine." But that is more dangerous.
Yuri was smiling widely when she entered the house. "You also have that?" The younger pointed at the crystals hanging on the ceiling. Y/N nodded, calling it Cinderella at the same time as Yuri, which made Yuta surprised. "I told you appa, it's called Cinderella."
She skipped to the wide doors that oversee the landscape garden full of flowers. "Cinderella?"
"I called that Cinderella when I was young." She said with a smile, asking one maid nicely to put the bouquet in a vase. "Yuri reminds me of myself when I was young."
"You're that talkative?" Yuta teased and she nodded. The guy shook his head. "Evidence or I won't believe you." The girl chuckled.
Y/N was kind enough to give them a tour of their house, which Yuta had to admit is bigger than their own house. When the older said that she has a walk-in closet, Yuri's eyes glimmered in excitement. The younger was skipping into her room and Yuta stood by the doorway which made her turn to him. "It's my first time entering a woman's bedroom." She giggled, claiming that it's fine.
While the two girls get drowned in the walk-in closet on one side of the room, he glanced around her room with her permission. There are pictures by the side of her bed, a younger her with her mom. Does she miss her? He remembered when they were in their second year of high school, she went to school wearing dark sunglasses for a week after her mom's death. The teachers only let her since she's grieving and female students were saying that she always cries in the bathroom.
Surprisingly, her dad can't be seen in the pictures when even her nanny, which she introduced to them earlier, was there. A younger picture of her, grinning while holding ice cream at hand, made him smile. She does resemble Yuri a bit, the chubby cheeks and the glittering eyes.
Yuta had to hold the picture behind it to observe it closely, it was an image of a pregnant woman. Originally, he thought it was her mom but on closer inspection, he found out that it was Y/N. She got pregnant? She's a mom? Where's…? "Appa!" Yuri called and he almost dropped the frame in surprise. When he turned around, Y/N was staring at him then at the frame in his hand. "Unnie said they have a movie theater. Her house is so cool!"
He returned the frame to its original place and followed the two girls outside. Yuri then stopped in one room, peeking inside. "Do you have a sister, unnie? Or is this your room before?" Y/N shook her head before opening the door widely for Yuri, letting her inside.
There's a crib inside the room then a poster bed with pink curtains. Stuffed toys were on one side and a rocking horse that Yuri already started playing with. "I want a room like this. Can I stay here?" The younger enthusiastically asked which made the older girl laugh. "Appa, can we stay here?"
"We can ask permission from your grandparents and we can have a sleepover together."
Yuri smiled widely, running to where she was and holding both her hands. "Can we? Really?" The older nodded while giggling and Yuri cheered her signature 'yey'. Yuta always thought that she had just this charm when talking to kids, the reason why Yuri liked her so much. But now, seeing her smile at the younger girl and finding a little bit of herself, he found out what it was. A motherly smile.
The mom Yuri needed in her life.
------
Yuta was surprised when he got an invitation to Qian Kun's engagement party. The other claiming that it was his mom who sent out invites. That's actually believable since he never once talked to Kun before. He wondered if Y/N was invited. She and Kun were a couple before, he should invite her.
Just days before the exact date of the engagement, the venue was changed to Paris. He was ready to cancel the attendance when he saw from Y/N's social media post that she was also in Paris. So she's coming as well. Might as well attend the party and hang out with her.
But Yuta was disappointed when she's not among the guests. Ten even had to remind him that she dated Kun so it's obviously awkward for her to be in this event. Doyoung even teased him for being chummy with her which he shrugged at. For a guy, Ten and Doyoung surely know a lot.
Instead of attending the rehearsal lunch, he messaged her where she was and went to her instead. The girl was talking to someone in French when he entered the empty place. She only gave him a smile to acknowledge him, motioning the couch. Judging from the way she spoke to the locals, he can say that she's been here a lot of times before. After talking to them, she sat beside him sighing hard. "I didn't know you could speak French."
"Isn't that a requirement when you're a chaebol?" Yuta shook his head, making the girl gasp in surprise. "Heirs have it easy." And Yuta only laughed at that. "Why are you here in Paris? Where's Yuri?"
Should he tell her? But she'll know about it anyway. "It's Kun's engagement party." She only nodded, asking that it should be in the Maldives. "There were last-minute changes. They announced it just two days before."
"Wow, Kun is indeed marrying a bitch." she cursed which made him wide-eyed. "She asked me where I was. Surprise, they had to change the venue here. What a loser?" She asked while rolling her eyes.
Yuta let out a laugh. "I didn't know you could curse."
"I'm human too." Again, he laughed. "And we're in Paris. I can do what I want without getting criticized for it." Yuta nodded.
That was right. They're in Paris. No one knew who they were. Yuta stood up then lend out a hand for her to take. "Then will you tour me around? It's my first time here without my mom." Y/N nodded, taking his hand.
He never let go of his hold on her as they stroll the streets of Paris, Y/N telling him the places where it's great to eat or shop. When she pointed at one stall that sells amazing chocolate ice cream, he didn't hesitate to get her one. The vendor even commented how cute they looked like a couple but it was Yuta who answered thank you in French. She stared at him in surprise but he only smirked, "What? We're in Paris. We can do what we want." The girl giggled at that.
They were at a small park to rest from walking around. Kids were playing on the side that made Y/N stare at them. Noticing this, Yuta stared at her. She really has a motherly vibe. Something he hasn't seen from other girls his age. "What?" But Yuta just shook his head, smiling to himself. "Why aren't you asking about it?"
And even if she doesn't mention anything, he knew what she meant. "I'm not in a position to ask anything." He sighed. "But if you want someone to talk to, I'll listen." Yuta tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear, staring at her. God, she's pretty. Prettier than the image of her in a white dress.
"Sunny should have been the same age as Yuri by now. But she died when I gave birth to her." A bitter smile escaped her lips as she stared at the flowers adorning the side of the park. "I didn't even get to see or touch her. Dad had to transfer me here in Paris just so the media wouldn't catch me in the States." She gave a shaky breath and Yuta slipped his hands to hold hers. "That time, I despised being his daughter. Even now, I still do."
"When I saw Yuri at the party, I immediately thought of Sunny so I talked to her. She's really lovely, I wish Sunny grew up like her." A bright smile replaced the sad one earlier. "She filled the void Sunny left." The exact same reason why Yuta adopted her. Yuri really had that effect on people. "Yuri is lucky to meet you." No, he thought, she's lucky to meet Yuri. To meet Y/N.
Yuta sighed. "Y/N, I…" But his phone rang that startled him. Such timing. She nodded when he asked if he can take it and he stood up away from her earshot when his mom's voice can be heard in a panicked state. "Wait, mom. Can you calm down? Where is Yuri?"
"The director of the orphanage came and she took Yuri with her. Her real parents are back to take her." What? Suddenly? "I tried talking to her but they had all the papers and even her pictures when she was a newborn. Yuta, can you come back? Yuri was crying when the director took her. She wanted to see you."
The guy sighed before glancing at Y/N, "I'll call the airline, mom. Please calm down. I'll head to the orphanage the moment I land." She agreed, breathing hard on the line.
"Yuta, is something wrong?" The girl asked, walking to where he is.
"I have to get back for Yuri." She nodded before he leaned in to kiss her lips. "I'll call you." She called for his name but he was already hailing a cab to his hotel. He immediately created a message for Y/N, confessing that he might have been in love with her and that they should talk about this after he takes care of Yuri.
Yes, he cannot deny it anymore. The magic he always saw when he was young isn't real. It's in his parents' eyes, how they look at each other. The way Y/N looks at Yuri. Love. That was the magic. The magic he felt knowing about her life. And the magic he's feeling now that he's on his way to protect his daughter.
But he failed her. Yuri wasn't in the orphanage when he came there. She was already taken by her parents. All the papers were presented confirming that they're Yuri's parents. He asked for their address so he can see Yuri for the last time and say goodbye to her properly but the directress cannot disclose that information to him. "Yuri's things. I have to give her things."
"You can leave it here in the orphanage, Mr. Nakamoto, and we'll deliver it to her."
He felt devastated. He only wanted to say goodbye to Yuri, wanted to see if she's happier with her parents. So he can have the strength to let go of her. Maybe it's not meant to be. Why are her parents back now? Why not earlier? Why not later?
He refused to talk to anyone, even his parents who just watched as he stayed in Yuri's room to arrange her things. He's going to send everything to the orphanage and hopefully, Yuri can get them: the stuffed toys, the dresses, the accessories. Everything.
There was a gentle knock on the door that annoyed him but when he gazed at the person by the doorway, he only registered a shock. "Your dad called me." His dad? "Yuta, I'm sorry about Yuri." She held out two paper bags to him. "I made these for her." He only gave a longing gaze before returning to what he was doing, folding her clothes. “Do you need help?”
Y/N kneeled in front of him, taking the stuffed toys and putting them in the box. “I shouldn’t have gone to Paris,” Yuta whispered. “I should have just stayed with her. She was begging me to bring her to Paris but I told her next time.” A sigh escaped his lips. “There’s no next time. I feel like I lost my child.” The girl bit her lip and he widened his eyes at the realization of what he said, “Shit, I’m sorry.”
“No, I understand.” She smiled timidly. “You care about her. And Yuri likes you so much.” A chuckle escaped her lips. “She can’t stop talking about you the first night I met her.”
Yuta smiled at the thought that the talkative Yuri kept talking about him. “I’m sorry, I can’t protect Yuri. You also liked her.” Y/N just smiled at him. Yuta took a small box and handed it to Y/N that startled her. “I can’t give Yuri this clip. Maybe if she grows up. But for now, can you hold on to this?”
“I’m sorry. I didn’t realize…” But she stopped seeing another thing inside the box with the diamond hair clip. A necklace. She held the sunflower pendant in her fingers, feeling the texture of the petals in her fingertips. “Where did you get this?”
He lightly glanced at the necklace. “Yuri has it.” Y/N stared at him in surprise. She flipped the pendant and saw the carved initials of her name. “That’s your necklace, right? I remembered you always wearing it ever since I first saw you in middle school. When did you give it to Yuri?”
“I didn’t.” Her voice came as a whisper. “I gave this to Sunny.” But Sunny died. Why would Yuri have that necklace? But as he saw the realization in her eyes, he finally understood what’s connecting Yuri and Y/N. The same admiration for flowers, same allergy to strawberries, and the way they resemble each other. How weird that they have to meet like this.
-------
It’s fate. Yuta had to think of that repeatedly as he drove Y/N to the address the orphanage gave. Of course, it’s a long talk and a lot of tears involved. But with the help of Doyoung, an amazing lawyer, the orphanage finally gave them the address of Yuri’s parents. He had to glance at the girl on the passenger seat, biting her thumb, to make sure she’s okay. What’s running in her mind right now? But he can’t ask her at the obvious distress she’s in. He’ll wait for her to reach out to him and tell him. For now, he had to assure her that he’s here. For her.
Y/N immediately held the handle for the car door when Yuta locked it that started her. “Let me talk to them first.” He slipped his hand on her, squeezing her fingers. “I’ll get Yuri.”
The house was messy. An unkempt yard, the roof looking like it might crumble anytime soon. How can they keep a child here? Yuta lightly knocked on a wooden door then lightly glanced at his car to see her looking at him. A man, with a cigarette in his mouth, opened the door. He blew the smoke on his face before asking what he wants. A smell of alcohol in his breath making him wince. “I’m here for Yuri.” The man stared at him before closing the door behind him. Yuta spotted a girl inside who looked nervous. “I just want to see her.”
“Why would I let you see that kid?”
He raised an eyebrow. That kid? “Are you her father?”
A laugh echoed on his big frame. “Didn’t we present enough evidence?”
“I demand to see Yuri.” Yuta stepped forward but he was blocked by the guy. “Just let me see her.” Cries can be heard inside as he desperately pushed himself inside. The bigger guy pushed Yuta to the ground before shouting at someone inside the house to make the kid stop. The cries stopped and Yuta refused to think of what happened inside. What have they done to Yuri? Yuta stepped forward again when the man pointed a knife in his direction.
The girl earlier came out of the house with a fresh scratch mark on her face, complaining that she hated it and that they should just give the kid to them. Yuta’s eyes widened when the guy held the woman’s shoulder while whispering that they need the money from the chairman. Y/N’s dad. The only confirmation he needed. Her father’s behind all this.
“You were that nurse when I gave birth," Y/N said, walking to where they are. Yuta hissed. Why does she have to go out? "Why?"
“It was all the chairman’s orders.” She confessed. “He told us to switch the baby with a dead one.”
“And now, we’re going to get a lot of money for blackmailing the chairman.” The guy answered before swinging the knife at Yuta which made him step back. “Get the kid.”
“Don’t touch her,” Y/N shouted. “I’ll give you the money. Everything. Don’t touch Yuri.”
In one swift movement, the girl held Y/N’s arms behind her back and pushed her to where the bigger guy is. Yuta was quick to catch her, asking if she was alright. The girl was explaining that she is the chairman’s daughter and that they’ll get more money if they could just keep her. “Then you’ll come with us.” The man said that made Y/N nod. “And we’ll take the car.”
“You’re crazy!” Yuta shouted, holding her hand.
“Just give them the key, Yuta.” He only stared at her like she’s such a crazy woman. “And please save Yuri.”
Yuta pulled her behind his back, trying to shield him from the other guy. “I’ll give you the car. There’s a clip inside that’s worth a million dollars.” He explained. “My wallet is there, you can use the cards however you want. I won’t ask for any authority’s help. Just don’t take Y/N and Yuri.” He handed them the key which the guy took. He pulled the girl by her arms, dragging her to the car which made Yuta breathe hard.
Quickly, he ran inside the house while calling for Yuri’s name. A faint crying sound can be heard inside a room with a large padlock outside. He cursed before kicking the door or pushing all his body weight to open the door. The little girl was tied on a chair, tears springing in her eyes while her mouth was muffled with a tape. As they heard the car engine going far, he gently removed the tape on her mouth and untied the bind on her wrists. “Appa.” Yuri cried, wrapping her arms around his neck. “I’m so scared.”
“I’m here.” He hugged her tight, caressing the back of her head as she kept crying and saying that she’s so scared. “You're safe now, Yuri.” He carried her in his arms before asking Y/N to call the ambulance using the phone in his pocket.
Yuri stared at Y/N, reaching out for her. “Eomma.” She called that made Y/N choke a sob.
“I’m sorry, Yuri.” She whispered.
It was Yuta who called the ambulance and when they came, Y/N finally let go of the shaking Yuri. The girl went out of the ambulance that startled Yuta. “Get in, Y/N.” But she just shook her head, watching the younger girl heave with the help of an oxygen tank. He had to ask the medical attendant to give him a minute before they can leave. “Y/N, we need to hurry and bring Yuri…”
“You need to hurry and bring Yuri to the hospital, Yuta.”
“I wouldn’t leave here without you.”
“Please, just save Yuri. She needs you.”
“What about you?” Yuta held her hand, trying to pull her close to him but she remained in her place.
Her eyes started getting misty with the tears she had been holding on to. “She needs you, Yuta.” The machines beeped and the paramedics were shouting that the kid is in shock. They have to bring her to the hospital immediately. Reluctantly, he let go of her and with one last glance, entered the ambulance. He needed to save Yuri first.
Yuta hated himself for being so lost, all he could ever think is to get Yuri saved that even if his parents were talking to him, he can’t answer them. There were bruises all over her body, a total sign of abuse. She’s so small. So sweet to suffer all of these. Then there’s Y/N. He asked some of his dad’s bodyguards to go back to the place and look for her but as he expected, she wasn’t there. He can’t call her, knowing that her things are inside the car. Even when he asked someone to check on her, they can’t find where she is.
The moment Yuri woke up on the second day, she immediately looked for Y/N. “I like her for you, appa. If you could let me choose, I want her to be my mom.” And that’s also exactly what he wants. She might be right, Yuri needs him. But she didn't know that he also needs her.
News about Y/N’s father shook the nation and startled Yuta. Embezzlement, fraud, his involvement with drugs and the black market, as well as the selling of his employees, including his daughter, as escorts for high-profile businessmen, were brought up. He’s way evil. How can he be a dad? And Y/N’s father? If not for his mom, he might have found ways to kill the chairman.
Luckily, Yuri didn’t get involved in all of these even if the truth about Y/N’s child was brought to court. A business investor got her pregnant and the chairman told his daughter that the child was dead, to avoid rumors and the end of their business. When it was announced that the old man is guilty of all charges, Yuta was there in court and watching him. What’s annoying is that he doesn’t even have remorse for what he did. It was Doyoung who warned him not to do anything rash that might make him regret. “How did this case come to you?” Yuta asked, leaning on the chair of the coffee shop they were seated at.
"She went to see me, gave me all the evidence needed." Yuta felt betrayed. She came to see Doyoung, not him or even her own daughter. "She also wanted me to give this to you." He slipped an envelope above the table.
A surprise was all Yuta could muster now. On his hand is a legal paper allowing him to adopt her daughter and become her guardian. There's also another contract claiming that the 15% remaining in the company which is her stocks will be handed to her daughter. Meaning, Yuri is now the owner of their company. A six-year-old, owning a large amount for the company. She might be crazy.
But this can only mean that he had full access to their company. A merge can happen, a merge will surely happen. And he was surprised that it didn't happen through marriage like other companies. "She thought of this through, everything is her plan. If you ever meet her again and let her go, I'll think you're a crazy fool."
"Then you can save yourself from thinking that, Doyoung."
------
In just two years, Yuta managed to become the CEO of the largest company known globally yet he always spends all his time with his daughter. Whenever he has to go on a trip abroad, Yuri will surely come with him. So it isn't that surprising when he brought her to Paris just before her eighth birthday.
What's different is when Yuta wore a familiar clip on Yuri and handed her a bouquet of sunflowers. The younger's eyes widened at the realization. "Are we going to see eomma?" Yuta nodded, smiling at her. She's grown up now. From the talkative six-year-old who first came to him with a smile, to a lovely eight-year-old who is a spitting image of her mom. And he badly misses her more now.
The cab ride was quiet. Yuri kept staring at the sunflowers while Yuta had his hand inside the pocket of his coat, fingers grazing the small box as if his confidence relies on it. "I'm nervous, Yuri," he admitted in a small voice. "What if she already forgot us?"
The girl held his free hand. "Then we'll make eomma remember us."
Yuta never thought that she'll be here of all places. How stupid of him. He had been here before. The empty shop looked so much better now that it has the name Sunny on top. Her own boutique in Paris. A dream he remembered she always wanted since high school. A dream she achieved on her own. And he's more than proud of what she has become.
With a heavy sigh and Yuri's encouraging smile, he opened the door that made the bells chime. "I'm sorry, we're already closed." The girl said in French. Y/N. She is here.
"Eomma," Yuri called which made her turn to them. The bouquet was forgotten on the floor as the younger ran to her. The older kneeled to meet her height, opening her arms wide for her. "I miss you." The younger girl sobbed in her mother's arms. "I thought you’ll forget about me.”
“I’m sorry, Yuri.” Y/N cried, holding the girl tight in her arms. “I was so scared when I saw you hurt. I thought it would be better if I’m not your mom. I’m so sorry.” She whispered but Yuri frantically shook her head. “I always think about you.”
Yuri held her cheeks, wiping the tears streaming from her eyes. “You are the only mom I want. I need you, eomma.” The older choked on the sob which made the younger hold her in her arms. “And appa is so lonely without you.” Yuta let out a small chuckle as she leaned in to whisper in her mom’s ear, “He cries while looking at your picture.”
“He does?” Y/N asked then stared at Yuta who only stared at Yuri in surprise. How does she know that? But he cannot deny it, seeing Yuri’s giggled and Y/N’s smile. The older tucked a hair behind Yuri’s ear, eyeing the hairclip. “You found this again?”
Yuta wanted to joke that it was the princess’ clip but it’s not the time for that. “I searched for it. Luckily, Ten went to an auction where it’s getting sold.” She smiled at that. “Yuri is getting older. She can wear the clip now. She also has a boyfriend.” Yuri revolted and Y/N laughed, asking if he’s cute which made the younger nod. Yuta rolled his eyes at that. “I swear if that boy breaks your heart…”
“He won’t.” The younger revolted and Y/N laughed at how childish they’re being.
He stepped closer, handing her the bouquet of sunflowers. “Yuri is growing up and she needs a mom. My own mom isn’t a great help. She needs you.” Yuri giggled, nodding. “I need you. We both need you.” A smile escaped her lips as she hugged Yuta, arms wrapped around his neck. He took the small box from his coat pocket, opening it for her. “I also thought you might want this back.”
The girl gasped. The sunflower necklace. “You also searched for this?” It means a lot to her. His mom kept on claiming how crazy it was for him to spend million dollars just for a necklace but with her expression now, he realized that money is nothing. Seeing her like this, smiling and eyes twinkling, is priceless. A treasure he wanted to keep forever.
“Y/N,” he whispered, holding her hand. “Will you come home to us?” Y/N nodded with tears in her eyes. Yuri smiled while whispering ‘Mission accomplished, appa’.
---------
Yuta thought that he had everything in his life: supportive parents, a wide range of friends, an extravagant amount of money, a fancy house, and a luxury car. But when he woke up, he truly realized how he had everything.
He glanced at the sleeping girl on his left, clinging on his left arm. The little girl who came to him with her little smile. The girl who changed his life. His daughter.
He kissed the top of her head as he fixed the blanket to cover her. “It’s so early.” The girl on his right complained, turning to hug his body and nuzzled her face on his chest. Yuta kissed her forehead, telling her to sleep some more as his right hand brushed her hair. The girl who showed him what love is. Y/N. His wife.
His girls.
The reason why he’s complete, why his heart is happy and content. The missing void he had been looking at all along.
Yuta chuckled, he’s living the luxury life. Who would have thought that he would share a bed with two girls?
What more can he ask for?

You’ll always be his Sakura.
Tumblr media
Weddings.
They were never Yuta’s cup of tea. The idea of getting married scared him. How would you get yourself settled with just one person your whole life? Is it really possible to commit yourself to just one person? Maybe. And that idea definitely scared him.
But this is one wedding that he cannot say no to. A wedding that he must attend even if it meant traveling from Spain to Korea just for a single event. Lee Taeyong’s wedding.
If there’s someone who will haunt him for the rest of his life, that will be Taeyong. It was in fifth grade when he met him in Seoul and they became the best of friends until their college days. He was one of the friends who kept with the communication even if he returned to Japan. He owed a lot to him, his knowledge in Korean, how he adapted well in a foreign country, and the one always next to him whenever he would miss her.
To his surprise, Taeyong is getting married to his highschool sweetheart. How long had that been? They’re still together? That’s amazing. And the idea of falling in love with one person all his life came to him again.
“Yuta.” an older woman called and he recognized her as Taeyong’s mom. She was the person who took good care of him back when he’s still in Korea. “You’re here.” She engulfed him in the warmth of her hug that made the younger giggle. She’s really like his second mom. “I always see you in the news.” she complimented and even introduced him to some of her friends as her second son. “Have you seen Y/N? She’ll be really happy to see you.”
The name brought unwanted memories to Yuta that made his heart tug against his chest. She’s here? But then, why shouldn’t she? It was her who introduced him to Taeyong, the princess of their trio.
As one of the best men at his wedding, he waited in front of the aisle next to the groom who looked fidgety. Yuta laughed at that, Taeyong is always confident. Are weddings always like this? His gaze was focused on the little girls gracing the aisle with flowers for the bride to walk at and when he turned to the next person, the bridesmaid, he felt his heart jump out of his chest. Y/N.
When was the last time he saw her? Seven years ago? His little vacation in Chicago. She looked more mature now. And even if some of her features change, he can still see the little girl who said hello to him on the first day of class back in third grade. His first friend. His sakura. His first love.
She beamed when their eyes met but he just gave her a timid smile. She shouldn’t know that he’s too happy seeing her after all these years. The feeling of being scared came again. But now, he’s scared to fall deeper.
                                                           --
The wedding ceremony is simple but truthfully, Yuta wanted to just leave the place. The only person he knew is Taeyong, his bride, his parents, and Y/N. They’re all busy with their tasks so there’s no one to talk to.
He was surprised to see a young boy walking to where he is, staring at him wide-eyed. “You’re Yuta Nakamoto, right?” the boy asked, making him nod, laughing at how he knew about him. “You’re really cool on TV.” His eyes were twinkling in glee and the older was reminded of someone, her eyes twinkling the same as his. “Eomma was right, she’s friends with you. That’s so cool.”
His mom is friends with him? “Your mom?” he repeated, making the child nod. “Who is your mom?”
The question was answered when Y/N turned to where they are, calling for someone named ‘Jae’. Wait, hold up? She’s a mom now? “Oh. Yuta.” she greeted with a smile. Why do they have to meet like this? In front of her son who was looking at both of them. Who is the father of this child? Her boyfriend in Chicago? “Jae, Taeyong samchon is looking for you.” The young boy nodded, skipping to get inside. “Did Jae bother you? I’m sorry.”
Yuta shook his head. A lot is running in his mind right now. But all of that was easily forgotten when she sat beside him. “I was surprised when I saw you earlier. I thought you’re in Barcelona.” He nodded, reasoning out that it’s a once-in-a-lifetime event in Taeyong’s life and that he doesn’t want to miss it. “Oh. I always see you on the sports channel. You’re pretty cool, Yuta.”
“You hated sports,” he said with a laugh.
The girl had to shyly smile at that. “Johnny does.” So they’re still together. “And Jae liked watching soccer.” So that’s why her son knows about him.
His gaze fell on her fingers, no ring. Are they not married? “You’re still together with Johnny?”
She shook her head. “Not anymore.” The sentence made him look at her. They’re not together? “We had a divorce when Jae was two years old.” Divorce? They got married? How come he doesn’t know any of it before? “I tried writing to you but the letters were always returned to me. Maybe you changed your residence in Osaka.”
“You should have emailed me.”
“I don’t want to bother you.” She smiled at him then stood up. “It was nice seeing you again, Yuta.” He didn’t know what to say and just nodded at her. When she turned her back at him, he left out a heavy sigh. Why isn’t he happy to see her again? Why does he need to know all of this now? And why is he falling deeper?
When he went inside the reception hall, she was talking to Jae and another girl taller than her son. If he thought her son’s eyes resembled hers, he was more amazed at how the girl looks like her. Her daughter? She had two children? There’s no denying that they’re a happy family next to each other. A dream she had always wanted. A dream he thought he could fulfill with her. But it’s too late. She had already reached her dream. Without him.
Weddings.
He had always hated the idea of that before she came. But now, he hated it even more.

And I’m back to making a chaptered AU. I only wrote until the fifth part of this and this doesn’t have an ending yet. But I wanted it to be shorter than Otou-Chan so we’ll see how the story goes and maybe take ideas from your comments and feedback. Once again, thank you for taking time in reading this.
(I didn’t use my Yuta’s angels tag list since this is a chaptered fic and I don’t want to force them in reading every chapter of this. But if you want me to tag you in updates, please feel free to tell me. Thank you.)

Secret
Tumblr media
characters : idol! boyfriend! Yuta Nakamoto x writer! Reader, mentioned Johnny and Jaemin
word count: 0.7k
genre: suggestive, crack
summary : What does Y/N mean?
tag list : (The Yuta’s Angels team) @ailoveyuta @aiforyuu @yutazen01 @2-3-t-i @cosmiclatte28 @nuoyipeach @dreamlesswonder86 @loona-4-eva
"Babe…" Yuta called while whining that you just hummed in response to him. It's unusual that he's here and not on schedule but you have too much work to give him that much attention today. "What does 'Y/N' mean?"
You giggled at the mention of 'Y/N'. It was a running gag in your head for a while now. "Yuta Nakamoto." Then your eyes widened at the realization, looking up at him from your laptop. Why is he asking that? Why does he know about 'Y/N'? "Wait, what the hell are you doing?"
"They're pairing me with Johnny? That's weird." He answered then showed you his phone that has a browser opened for Tumblr. "Johnny said that I can learn English if I read some fanfictions but these are plain weird."
You quickly took his phone away from his hand. "You should stop reading about those things."
He raised an eyebrow at you. "Why? Have you read some of it?" Not only have you read things, but you also run a Tumblr blog of your boyfriend. It's weird, you know. But no one knew about your relationship so you thought it's fine. And he doesn't need to know about these fantasies you had over him. "Are they pairing me with everyone in NCT? Even myself?"
You sighed then gave him back his phone. It's time to come clean and reveal your secret. "'Y/N' means 'your name'. That's how the writer addresses the readers who they pair to the member." You explained that made him nod, laughing.
"So you really read some of this." He teased. "I'm really curious about how they write about me."
"Actually, Yuta…" But your confession was stopped when your phone rang. "I'll be back." You said before disappearing to the kitchen, answering the call of your publisher. He was asking you to come to the office for some revisions of your article that made you annoyed. It's your day-off.
Yuta just chuckled when you went to your room and started dressing up to head to your office. "Sorry. I'll make it up to you." You said while putting on your sandals. He shook his head but you only sigh.
"It's fine really. You'll be home for dinner, right?" He asked that made you nod. "I'll cook something up for you." You pouted then reached out to hug him. Yuta is always so considerate towards you that it makes your heart flutter like crazy. "You know you're pretty when you're clingy like this." You giggled at that before saying goodbye to him.
You should have been at home with Yuta, cuddling on the sofa and not revising your article in the boring office like today. It really is annoying. But then he promised to make dinner so it's a little motivation for you to finish your work early.
What would he be doing now? You checked your phone and there is a message from him. 'Shall we invite Jaemin for dinner?' Jaemin? You thought. Na Jaemin? Why would he want to have dinner with Jaemin? Why Jaemin?
Did he find out that you're currently simping over Jaemin? You're having a huge crush on the younger guy that you were fantasizing about domming him in bed. Wait. Did you tell him about your blog? You didn't, right?
'You should close the tabs of your laptop, love.'
'I'm enjoying your fanfictions.'
'I'm going to show your blog to Johnny.'
'No, Yuta. Don't. It's embarrassing.'
'Why? It's amazing. You're really a great writer, love.'
'Makes me fall in love with you more'
'Come home early. I miss you.'
Maybe he's just being clingy. Honestly, it's supposed to be your time together. You should finish your work early. A buzz disturbed your typing.
'Do you honestly think I'm this dominant in the bedroom?'
You wanted the ground to swallow you whole. God, this is so embarrassing. And to think that Yuta always calls you his 'innocent angel'. You should have come clean earlier.
'Do you want to try it out?'
Fuck.
'I'll buy some strawberries.'
This will be a long night.
