Tell me about your cosplays

HAI!!!! depends on what you wanna know :) i've been a cosplayer for a while now, started in 2018-19 with my sander sides cosplays (i hand made vigils jacket, its still somewhere in my closets) but ive been admiring cosplayers for wayyy longer, i love the craft so much

then in the peak age of 2020 covid hit and i saw a influx of cosplay comps on youtube, i made my fair few fnaf cosplays (which have no documented proof)

the following halloween i made a Thanatos from Hades cosplay for a library event, big prop sythe and all, ive gotta revit it but i was proud at the time

i never got seriously into it till around 2022 when i made my sweetheart from Omori dress, was the first time i had seriously approached a cosplay with dedication and excitement for a halloween event i planned with friends

(as seen here) and then it kinda continued to spiral!! got very into danganronpa for a while so i made and brought my share far of those cosplays styles many wigs. also did Mari and Sunny from Omori in this time too (hence where my name comes from!) then i expanded out to my other interests, Sara Chuidon from YTTD (Your Turn To Die), Stephanie Lauter from NPMD (Nurdy Prudes Must Die), Kagamine Rin (Vocaloid) and now getting into the nitty griftty of my longest hyperfixation and special interests, Supergiant games (Sybil Reisz being my latest one) I am currently working on the following: Zagreus, Melinoe (Hades) Gabriel, V1, V2 and Mirage (ULTRAKILL) and Sal (Griftlands) and if you ever looked at my detailed milanotes you'd be more concerned for the amount that i wanna do but if you really ask me, i love to cosplay for me and me alone. i only got a tiktok and instagram in the past 2 years so i can post for me, and its fun. my cosplays don't have to be popular and ive only ever been to 1 con in my entire life (too overstimulating haha!) i love to explore makeup and expression, i love to film videos and preform what ive always looked up too and if that convinces someone else out there to try it out, then I've more than done my part in sharing my fav hobby

Chromebooks können das immer noch nicht!

Automatische Sicherung des Linux Containers ist bisher immer noch nicht umgesetzt. Darauf musst Du achten!

Die Entwickler des Googles Betriebssystems chromeOS basteln seit vielen Wochen und Monaten wieder an allerlei Neuem. Und wie so oft in letzter Zeit zielt so vieles davon darauf ab die großen Unternehmen glücklich zu machen, welche sich darauf eingelassen haben auf Chromebooks umzustellen. Die fordern vor allem immer Dinge welche deren Nutzer von Windows her kennen. So recht kapieren was chromeOS eigentlich ist und was Chromebooks eigentlich sind tut da scheinbar keiner. Wir, die wir Chromebooks seit Jahren bereits nutzen und vieles davon schätzen gelernt haben schütteln da nur den Kopf, denn wir haben uns ja für Chromebooks entschieden, gerade weil wir das Microsoft-typische nicht wollen.

Zugegeben ein paar Dinge die in Windows so funktionieren, wären auf etwas andere Weise natürlich auch auf einem Chromebook schick. Da wäre es beispielsweise schön auch endlich mal bei der verwendung eines zusätzlichen Monitors das Hintergrundbild unterschiedlich anzeigen zu lassen und derlei DInge. Ein ganz wesentlicher Vorteil bei Chromebooks ist aber das uns hier das meißte automatisch in der Cloud gesichert wird. So lassen sich Chromebooks sehr schnell wiederherstellen. Oder auch wenn das Gerät mal defekt geht, so kann es einfach gegen ein anderes ausgetauscht werden. Anmelden und in Kürze ist alles wieder da. Im Prinzip ist das so und gilt auch seit längerem für Android App.

Doch nicht nur chromeOS, Android Apps oder spezille die Browser Themen sind das was Chromebooks heute ausmachen. Gerade Entwickler können auf Linux auf ihren Chromebooks nicht verzichten. Es ist viel wichtiger auch hier die Umgebung wieder herstellen zu können. Doch das geht eben immernoch nicht automatisch. Dabei wäre es so wichtig. Wer also die Entwicler-Umgebung auf seinem Chromebook aktiviert und Linux Anwendungen im Container laufen lässt muss da mit ein paar Einschränkungen leben und das Thema Backup zählt immer noch dazu.

Es ist zugegeben auch etwas anspruchsvoller, denn wir müssen bei Linux ein paar Dinge beachten. Allein schon die Arichtektur des Chromebooks und seine Sepzifikationen spielen hier eine Rolle. Für chromeOS selbst ist das eigentlich egal. Im Falle von Linux und Linux Apps fängt es aber bereits damit an welcher Prozessor in Deinem Chromebook verbaut ist. Tauschst Du das Chromebook aus und hattest vorher einen Intel Chip darin und das neue Gerät hat einen AMD Chip, kann das bereits bedeuten das Dein Backup sich nicht wieder herstellen lässt.

Das mag ja eventuell alles sein, aber es dürfte uns dennoch nicht davon abhalten regelmäßig Sicherungen zu machen. Dazu müssen wir in die Einstellungen/Entwickler/Linux Entwicklungsumgebung/Sicherung. Jetzt können wir ein Backup anstoßen. Desto umfangreicher eurer Speicherplatz für Linux ist und je mehr ihr da an Apps und Daten habt, desto länger wird das dann auch dauern.

Ein automatisches Update im Sinne wie es bei chromeOS funktioniert wäre also hilfreich und absolut wichtig. Es könnte auch immer wieder im Hintergrund ausgeführt werden und nur synchronisieren. Also nurdie Daten sichern bei denen sich etwas geändert hat. Genau das ist es was wir fordern. Ja, schon ma kann sich sowas selbst programmieren. Doch sorry, das ist eigentlich nicht unser Job!

Zudem gibt es ein paar Dinge zu beachten! So einfach lässt sich nicht direkt in die Cloud sichern. Ist die Verbindung da nicht stabil ist die Sicherung gescheitert. Also sichern wir in der Regel auf eine Micro-SD Card die uns ausreichend Platz bietet und ein schnelles und sichers Beschreiben ermöglicht. Eines der Gründe warum ich nie ein Chromebook kaufen würde das keinen SD-Card Slot mehr hat.

Sicher gehen einige von euch das Thema ggf. auch etwas anders an. Doch der Beste Weg wäre ja wenn die Google Entwickler uns das Problem endlich mal abnehmen könnten und ein automatisches Cloud Backup und Recouvery integrieren. chromeOS mag ja toll sein, doch ohne Linux wäre es für mich heute nicht mehr nutzbar. Dann würde ich mich wohl ganz sicher von dem Thema Chromebook trennen und für ein anderes System entscheiden müssen!

As much as I like Klaine,I am always upset over Chandler episode... first of all,that Kurt gave that dude his number,and secondly,it makes me sad that he spended more time texting him than his own bf. Also,were the texts he was sending back to Chandler flirty as well,or it was just Chandler's side? I mean,Blaine claimed that HIS texts to Sebastian were family friendly while being upset, which made me think if Kurt's to Chandler weren't,but rn I am just confused. It also made me ship them a bit less and now I am just sad. I would like to sweep Chandler incident under the rug though,but I am not really able to defend Kurt here.

Oh gosh it’s a shame this has upset you so much.

Firstly, the whole Klaine story in that episode is how they roll. So we see that Blaine has been pulling away from Kurt physically, which is what he does when he gets upset in their relationship, and that has Kurt therefore pulling away emotionally, which is what he does in response. This is the crux of so many Klaine problems - neither of them communicate what they’re really thinking to the other, until it all goes wrong, blows up and they have a huge row. Then they calm down, and they are able to talk and edge towards understanding each other better. So here Blaine is pulling away because he is worried and upset about how it’s going to be when Kurt moves to New York. At this stage, Blaine’s not got many friends in the ND, he relies heavily on his friendship/relationship with Kurt; added to that one of his biggest fears is being left alone or behind with no one, he needs to feel loved or give love and help in return. I could go deeper into Blaine’s meta and why he reacts like this, but not now.

Blaine’s been pulling away physically, Kurt gets upset, he’s in the music shop and some random nurdy bloke starts chatting to him, and asks for his phone number to keep in touch when they get to NY. Kurt, flattered by the attention , which he’s not been getting from his boyfriend agrees and gives him his number

And yes it’s sad, Kurt then spends the next few days regularly texting Chandler, and Blaine hardly at all. Not the best way to behave in a relationship!!! Blaine says you’ve been texting together for days…. So it’s clear Kurt is responding, yes and probably flirting, and talking of NY. Whereas Blaine was always polite to Sebastian, but probably made it clear he wasn’t interested in him because he was with Kurt.

Yes it was very upsetting for Blaine to find out Kurt’s been texting someone else, potentially making plans for NY. They row, then of course, they sing their solos and make up. Yes, it is hard to justify Kurt’s actions at this point. But yet also, we’ve got to remember they do often have this lack of communication problem, and it does lead to further issues in seasons 4-6, and they both need therapy to help them deal with their issues.

That’s the thing to remember as well, they do have issues, every couple have their issues irl as well as Glee. It doesn’t mean they love each other less, or won’t be happy long term - they just have to learn to deal with things properly and communicate. They are still teenagers here after all. That’s the way I look at this Chandler incident.
