out of all the annoyances of Nutdealer misgenderings, applying he/him to Chara and Kris is wild? Not only are both names, like feminine, but also they have both only been identified as they/them very clearly.

Both Dreemurr humans were around the societies that used they/them for them for years. If Frisk’s pronouns were any/any, then that might make sense, who knows. But the bizarre pattern of making the Dreemurr humans boys while having Frisk be female is really weird! Again, “Kris” and “Chara” are both girl names irl, while Frisk straight up isn’t a name.

The only fanwork I’ve encountered that decided that “yeah Frisk should be a guy and Chara should be a girl” (neither of which are canon (actually Frisk might be a he/they, who knows)!) was a Deltarune character swap AU thing where it turned out that they were Kris’s parents but Frisk murdered Chara and so the Dreemurs adopted Kris. They still made Kris a guy, though.

Anyways this just lead me to think that the infamous Deltarune fanfic Umriss should have bent Kris’ gender femwards rather than malewards, especially since the author didn’t even have the decency to let Kriselle spawn horrific abominations. They kept Noelle attracted to Susie, and I feel like she seems like a Predatory Lesbian™️ instead of some cringy doe who maybe wants a threesome or to be a swinger or something, but is too much of a loser to actually ask and so is either waiting on her crush or her wife to discuss it.

(Anyways, if Kris≠Chara then probably humans in the Nutdealer multiverse are hermaphrodites or something (we know that ghosts are dxab (designated nonbinary(X-gender at birth) based on Mad Mew Mew being referred to as they/them when they were Mad Dummy). If they are then it’d just be weird coincidence, or maybe split reincarnation or Chara somehow managing to convince the underground that all humans are nonbinary because they got a 20 on the associated persuasion check). This could also play into the theory that Ralsei exists as Kris’ ideal self, including gender, if humans are nonbinary by default. This has the bonus of upsetting everyone)

dustDealer AU plot

created as a joke but frick it make it edgy

so basically, I was just on Wattpad the other day, and I thought a bit too hard about stuff like THIS from the official Undertale Alarm Clock website:

there was also this bit from the Fangamer stream on Undertale’s 6th anniversary:

obviously, this refers to the Holiday family from Deltarune, with Rudy/Rudolph even being mentioned by name, while the antlered girl clearly refers to Noelle (her big sis is likely Dess). 

So, Noelle exists in Undertale’s universe.

...and I’m pretty sure that at this point we all know about the Weird Route/Snowgrave Route from Chapter 2 (an alternate route from the normal game that can be taken once Noelle joins Kris in the City, where you make her use IceShock to defeat all enemies possible while also making very specific, creepy choices outside of battle. There’s more to it than that but then we’d be here forever so just look it up I guess).

Where Noelle gets strong enough with her ice magic to use the spell SnowGrave after being equipped with the Thorn Ring (halving the TP cost of all ice spells, making SnowGrave actually accessible [it’s normally 200% people, literally unreachable, but with the ring it’s 100%, so you can use it once you fill the bar all the way up), giving you the first time you can actually KILL someone in Deltarune (normally enemies run away, get knocked out of the battlefield, or are non-lethally frozen).

So, if Noelle exists in Undertale, shouldn’t she exist in the AUs, from an in-universe perspective?

Could she still use the SnowGrave spell?

Undertale doesn’t have TP, so would she be able to us either without the Thorn Ring?

And that led to me making a joke that I eventually turned into this AU (the title is a reference to the joke rearrangement of Deltarune’s title, nutDealer, btw): 

Noelle in Dusttale uses SnowGrave to kill Sans before he can kill her, and then kills the human when they come around (originally made as a stupid joke you can find on my blog under the dustDealer tag, or the Dusttale tag since it has that and the original post I made about this idea in the first place).

And after that, I don’t know, she probably finds a way to travel the multiverse somehow (if any Sans can do it then why not her?) and just wanders for the rest of her days, still very shaken up about what had happened to her, and still carrying a bit of a grudge against Sans for taking away everyone she cared about, so she probably immediately has an aversion to just about any vaguely Sans-shaped skeletons... so that’ll probably create problems given how this fandom is like 99% Sans.

She’s not a crazed serial killer now though so that’s good. She was just backed up against a wall and felt she had no choice but to give it all she had.

(also Frisk ragequit so that’s why they didn’t come back again. wasn’t expecting the deer girl to rise up and seemingly be impossible to defeat since she got them on the first frickin’ turn of battle)

I’ll probably write more about this eventually, but for now this is the basic plot. Hope you guys enjoy this idea.
