Something that annoys me so much is that there arent many transfem spaces. Sure there are plenty of spaces that call themselves transfem, but they mean trans women.
I dont have a space to go to which doesent instantly gender me. I want to be in community with transfems but binary trans women just forget enbens exist while still using the language of non binary acceptance.
This is what I meant in my post about the binarisation of nonbinary and intersex language. It will eventually push out those who it was made for, those who created it to be seen and heard and find community by forcing them back into binaries they do not fit and cannot fit even if they tried. I hope you are able to find a transgender community soon. You exist as a transfem and an enban, and there are others like you. You will find your community soon enough 🫂 💛🤍💜🖤

Also like what's up with the nonbinary people. I haven't seen a single thing about them where are they.
#Something something nonbinary erasure#Nonbinary erasure#nonbinary#non bianry#Or anyone else of other genders#Where are you guys seriously#Have we gone so far down that their voices are nothing? The oppression they face?#“Transandro vs transmiso” “argument” bullshit to distract us from staying together as a community#From taking care of each other. out of all the annoyances of Nutdealer misgenderings, applying he/him to Chara and Kris is wild? Not only are both names, like feminine, but also they have both only been identified as they/them very clearly.
Both Dreemurr humans were around the societies that used they/them for them for years. If Frisk’s pronouns were any/any, then that might make sense, who knows. But the bizarre pattern of making the Dreemurr humans boys while having Frisk be female is really weird! Again, “Kris” and “Chara” are both girl names irl, while Frisk straight up isn’t a name.
The only fanwork I’ve encountered that decided that “yeah Frisk should be a guy and Chara should be a girl” (neither of which are canon (actually Frisk might be a he/they, who knows)!) was a Deltarune character swap AU thing where it turned out that they were Kris’s parents but Frisk murdered Chara and so the Dreemurs adopted Kris. They still made Kris a guy, though.
Anyways this just lead me to think that the infamous Deltarune fanfic Umriss should have bent Kris’ gender femwards rather than malewards, especially since the author didn’t even have the decency to let Kriselle spawn horrific abominations. They kept Noelle attracted to Susie, and I feel like she seems like a Predatory Lesbian™️ instead of some cringy doe who maybe wants a threesome or to be a swinger or something, but is too much of a loser to actually ask and so is either waiting on her crush or her wife to discuss it.
(Anyways, if Kris≠Chara then probably humans in the Nutdealer multiverse are hermaphrodites or something (we know that ghosts are dxab (designated nonbinary(X-gender at birth) based on Mad Mew Mew being referred to as they/them when they were Mad Dummy). If they are then it’d just be weird coincidence, or maybe split reincarnation or Chara somehow managing to convince the underground that all humans are nonbinary because they got a 20 on the associated persuasion check). This could also play into the theory that Ralsei exists as Kris’ ideal self, including gender, if humans are nonbinary by default. This has the bonus of upsetting everyone)
#Deltarune#undertale#frisk undertale#chara dreemurr#kris dreemurr#nb erasure#nonbinary erasure#nutdealer#nutdealer multiverse#the fallen child#umriss#umriss (Deltarune fanfic)#nightblogging#the cliffhanger ending would have been the calm before the storm of them (her in this context?) asking Susie and Berdly to go swinging#the Nutdealer multiverse absolutely runs on a gender ternary#I do subscribe to the theory that Undertale is in Britain while Deltarune is in New England#for thematic purposes#and also I am sorry i don’t like Noelle. it’s a stupid die for our ship thing I’m sorry#she was cute as a little thing but I feel she overstays her welcome#probably she’s going to be important as the angel or something but I find her annoying in large quantities#also I dislike Suselle and her general lack of agency. Snowgrave didn’t end with her reclaiming agency#the Virgin Snowgrave Noelle and the Chad Genocide Chara

just saw someone call the use of tme transandrophobic and. boy. i don't think tme/tma as terms are useful for anything but enforcing the ongoing fracture the trans community (as far as that can be said to exist) along perisexist bioessentialist lines, but to act like the existence of the term is used to target transmascs and transmascs exclusively is so "i am uncomfortable when we are not about me?" that this guy whole-ass forgot about the existence of unaligned nonbinary people and intersex people
#queer intracommunity issues#perisexism#exorsexism#nonbinary erasure#intersex erasure#i also don't think transandrophobia describes anything exclusive to transmascs but that's neither here nor there#and before you come yap in my inbox this is a gentle reminder that intersex people exist. again. even though you read it 15 seconds ago.#that is for BOTH topics and i will be grading you on your ability to incorporate the existence of intersex people into your politics

I went to one of the protests that have been happening all over the UK due to the recent bullshit and so many of the speakers either just,, barely mentioned non-binary people as effected by the bill (other than a brief 'trans and non-binary people') or didn't even seem to register it effected anyone but trans women. I'm really glad that the protests happened, and that trans women rightfully got support, discussion and focus, but I wish non-binary people's utter erasure was talked about :( I might see if I can speak about it in the next protest, I know there are plans for more, and a lot are open to speeches from the crowd.
If you can, try to contact the organisers of these protests with information about how these rulings affect (and have effected) nonbinary people in the past and how it is just as detrimental to the nonbinary community as well as trans women (and trans men for that matter. This court ruling has misgendered them as women). You could try email, SMS, or even on a public platform like Twitter. I personally have been emailing. Speaking out creates change.
If you can't, then try your hardest to spread awareness: educate people in your local community, submit posts on this and other blogs, contact trans/queer charities and news outlets with the information about nonbinary erasure and exorsexism and explain that they must run stories and articles about us and our struggle too, they must make nonbinary specific resource lists and spaces because we are legally forced into non existence, and that should not happen in spaces for queer safety. There are many ways to get the word out there, even if it's not in the larger protests. We can do this, stronger as a community.

(i agree with op)
this might sound like i'm reaching but i feel like a lot of forcing a binary onto chara/kris/frisk reeks from micro aggressive enbyphobia. a lot of this enbyphobia is just very surface level of a much deeper issue that is rooted in society.
cis people are unable to view things without forcing cisnormative gender norms on everything. this cisnormality results in non-binary not being seen as a genuine identity and just as a weird third, secret unnatural thing. all of this results in a lot of microaggressions and gender debates on heavily-implied non-binary characters (mangle for example). everything outside the binary is stigmatised and seen as unnatural, which leads to people pushing gender norms onto everything.
it is a product of cisnormality being forced onto society. if cisnormative gender norms ceased to exist, would you really still see people debating on identities of non-binary characters? people being unable to comprehend that characters can be non-binary is simply just a surface level product of this issue.
now obviously, are people debating identities on non-binary characters as bad as an issue of real life enbyphobia? obviously not. but it is still a surface level product of enbyphobia. it is a result of people looking at society and all media they consume from a cisnormative lense that when they see something that doesn't fit those lenses, it challenges their thought process that they were usually taught growing up.
the utdr fandom being able to accept that frisk, chara and kris can be their own people and have their interests, but are unable to even comprehend that they might not be either male or female, is surface level enbyphobia. you are able to accept whatever frisk, chara and kris do outside of our control is them being their own person, but gender is where you draw the line of something not being up for interpretation?
maybe back then, i can understand. a lot of people were pre-teens/young teens when they first got into undertale so gender out of the binary was a very new concept to them. so projecting their understanding of gender onto the human characters was their only way of identifying them. but if you are pulling this shit today?? you definitely need to check up on your beliefs.
also did you guys know that toby fox never said anything about the human character's genders being up for interpretation? that was a straight up lie made by undertale fans back in the olden days just to justify pushing frisk/chara into a binary.
there is no way all of this isn't a byproduct of enbyphobia and society being obsessed with forcing gendered roles onto everything. if you see a character, being their own person, strictly using gender neutral terms and you somehow find a way to force them into a binary? that is a product of your cisnormative beliefs. what other reason is there to force gender norms onto them?
i think just accepting that characters can be non-binary and may not fit into the lenses of what makes a person male or female, can be a small but right step towards stepping away from one part of cisnormative beliefs. it can make non-binary representation a lot easier to present in media, and it makes topics about non-binary characters a lot easier to understand and talk about since there's less social stigmatism around it.
Deltarune chapter 3 is gonna start by asking you what Kris’ pronouns are and if you choose anything other than they/them it deletes all your save files and uninstalls your game
[image description: a digital comic. In the first panel, Toby Fox (as represented by a small white dog) gestures towards Frisk and says, smiling “Name this character whatever you want!” In the next panel, he winks as he says “Sike! This character was actually their own person the whole time!” In the third panel, a vague person shape holds Frisk, saying “Oh, so their gender is open to interpretation!”
In the fourth panel. Toby looks to the side annoyed, saying “Maybe that was too subtle…” In the fifth panel, he gestures towards Kris and says “This is Kris. They are their own person who is just being controlled by you. Everyone uses they/them for them.” In the sixth panel the vague person shape holds Kris, saying “Oh, so their gender is open to interpretation!”
In the next panel, Toby Fox smiles blankly at the viewer, and the last panel is a close-up of his face with his dead, stressed out eyes. End ID]

Hey, a blog I used to follow (nonbinary support) reblogged a post talking about how “trans men are the men of trans people” and I really advise all of y’all to stay away from them. It scared me, because I’ve been following them for some time, and they’re supposed to be for nonbinary support. You cannot support nonbinary people while also being transandrophobic. You can’t. I unfollowed them, and will probably block them like I did with another blog, a popular sex ed blog, and I’d really advise y’all to do the same. Trans men are men, but they are NOT privileged over other groups because of them being TRANS MEN. Nobody is privileged for being trans!

ok but racism and fatphobia in the queer community is crazy btw. Like sometime you gotta ask,
Are they butch/masc or are they a poc? Are they fem or are they white? Are they androgynous or are they skinny? Is their hair style choice non conforming or is it just not straight/fluffy? Honestly sometimes I see some strange things being said up in here, and irl too. I just. Idk mann

Anyways. I hate how being misgendered is seen as a privilege if the person being misgendered is nonbinary. Like. No. Being seen as a man when you aren't one isn't a privilege. Likewise, being allowed into "women's spaces" isn't a privilege when it comes at the cost of your identity.
By in large, non binary people can't "pass" in the same way that *some* transgender men and women can. Because "passing" involves being gendered correctly by others.

nonbinary erasure my hated 😊 ppl do this to my rp characters too like one person KEPT DOING IT like 6 or 7 times after being told repeatedly that they’re strictly nonbinary
And like yeah they’re mostly pink but i feel like it shouldn’t be too hard to get it into your head that they’re nonbinary
crazy how there's collectively maybe a dozen they/them characters in pieces of media that anyone talks about and if you go to look up things about them in queer fandom spaces then you'll still see them getting misgendered a good 60% of the time
#nonbinary erasure#nonbinary#the character that im talking about is also intersex#they were reclaimed from a deleted webcomic and basically became an entirely different character over the span of 3 years#but they’ve always always been nonbinary#i once blocked someone because they wouldn’t stop using she/her on them
