But Buck needs to breathe and his body isn’t listening to him, throat spasming as liquid rushes in where there should be air. Buck’s chest is on fire. He’s drowning, lungs filling with whatever is being forced down his throat. It tastes like water, but there’s a bitter aftertaste. Something gritty coats Buck’s tongue just like at the bar.

oooooooooh buck breakdowns my beloved <3 you have good taste, meg >:3 the (current) buck breakdown fic started as a vent piece that got out of hand and now i'm not sure where it's going lol. Buck is just having one of those days, y'know? Here's a snippet:

The sound of the second hand ticking on his watch reverberates through his head, beating in time with his thumping pulse. It feels like the countdown of a bomb, time slipping away. Too much time. Someone is going to come looking for him. The fizz of panic snaps up his spine. He’s going to get yelled at. The day has barely started and he’s already fucking it up. He’s taking too long, hands trembling as he tries to do up the buttons on his uniform shirt. They’re so small and his fingers are so big and clumsy – the small plastic pieces slipping between his shaky fingers. He spits out a curse, biting his lip so hard he swears he tastes copper. 

Just push through it, he chides himself — shaking his hands out to try and get the jitter under his skin to stop. 

Buck nearly bites through his tongue when there’s a knock on the stall door he’s in. He freezes, muscles locking up as his heart beats in his throat. 

“Buck, you good in there?” It’s Eddie, voice bright and loud. 

“Y-yeah. I’m fine. I-I’ll be right out,” Buck croaks, fitting the last button through the correct hole on his shirt. 

“Alright, well hurry up. Bobby’s making breakfast. I’ll save you a plate, but don’t let it get cold,” Eddie says, voice echoing off the tile of the bathroom. 

Buck nearly gags, just the idea of trying to eat food while his stomach feels like it’s trying to tie itself into a knot is enough to make him feel nauseous. Saliva floods his mouth and he has to swallow past the way his throat cinches tight. 

And the car crash fic is the one that I've been posting about most recently! I'm too lazy to hunt down all the posts, but it's the one where Buck meets up with an old friend, Rose. Eddie may or may not be jealous, and some guy can't seem to take no for an answer. (i'm hoping it doesn't stay a wip for much longer)

this henren set - as soon as i saw this quote i thought of them! i really like the blending and the typography on the middle gif

the firefam set - even though i posted this a while ago i still love this edit so much! this quote is so fitting and i loved being able to show all the different relationships on the show

this hen edit - i spent ages trying to find the right scenes and fonts for the typography but i really love how it came together

this madney set - like the henren set, as soon as i saw this quote i thought of them - i also tried a few new things on this one and love how it turned out in the end

7. if you had to remove all your tattoos except for one tell us which one you’re keeping and why oh that'd be sooo sad. but definitely keeping my cat gadoua one that takes most of my upper left arm because i love it a lot, it means so much to me, and it gets compliments all the time (a confidence boost tbh) and it was quite expensive lol

8. if you could have any tattoo, any size/placement for free because you won a contest — whatcha gettin? i've been wanting a big sternum/shoulder piece for a while so definitely that. something neotraditional with florals and ornaments (think @jentonic style on instagram). it's pretty basic i guess but i just love this style very much and i think it's something i would still love years from now. for the colors i would probably go with something yellow/orange/red/pink. but yeah i've been thinking about this for literal years haha, it's just that it's a big comittment and also expensive (and painful)

12. find the most ridiculous tattoo you can on google images and share it now oh god dsfkjdnfskdjfdfs okay there's this facebook page called that's it i'm inkshaming and I KNOW it's mean okay, but sometimes people find the wackiest tattoos lol and it's just SO funny. like?? dsfkdjfndfdsf. so here's one from there. gonna put it under a read more just in case LOL. iykyk....
