Liam Gallagher: “We put an offer on the table for Oasis and Noel said no.” Speaking exclusively in MOJO magazine, Liam says Noel Gallagher turned down an offer to reform Oasis for this year’s Definitely Maybe anniversary. Liam Gallagher By MOJO Staff | Published22 Minutes Ago February 16th 2024
Speaking in the new issue of MOJO magazine, Liam Gallagher has revealed that Noel Gallagher turned down an offer to reform Oasis for the forthcoming 30th anniversary of Definitely Maybe.
“Noel? He ain’t fucking doing it,” Liam tells MOJO’s Ted Kessler in this month’s MOJO cover feature.
In June, Liam Gallagher embarks on a UK arena tour to mark the anniversary of Oasis’ debut album. Noel Gallagher recently suggested on Talksport Radio that all Liam had to do was call him up to see about healing the rift that’s existed since Oasis split in 2009, but Liam claims an offer to reform was rejected by his older brother.
“I did call him! Well, my people called Noel’s management team,” reports Liam. “We put an offer on the table for an Oasis thing – because we got offered it – and he said no. It was a big tour, a lot of money. He turned it down. I get it, he’s got a divorce going down. I’ll do the Definitely Maybe thing and have a nice time without him.”
2025 will see the anniversary of Oasis’ second album Morning Glory? So perhaps Liam is holding out for a future rapprochement?
“It’s down to the universe. It’ll happen when it happens, it’s not in our hands anymore,” says Liam. “Me, I love nostalgia though. I’m doing the lot. Every album, even… what was the last one?”
Dig Out Your Soul?
“Fucking right, man! You never enjoy them the first time round, so I’ll be milking the lot. People say it’s the comfort zone – I want to be in the comfort zone! Bring me my slippers and my little blankie and put me in the comfort zone, please. Life’s stressful enough.”
Oasis: Every B-Side Ranked!
Elsewhere in MOJO’s exclusive interview with Liam and former Stone Roses guitarist John Squire, the pair discuss the origins of their new collaborative album, how The Stones Roses inspired Oasis, the injury that almost meant Squire never played guitar again and why Squire’s former outfit never recorded a third album.

Anticipation over an imminent Oasis reunion is “premature,” leading music figures say, after a fresh bust-up between Liam and Noel Gallagher.
The long-awaited reformation of the Britpop giants appeared to move a step closer following reports that Knebworth House, scene of the band’s legendary 1996 shows, has been put on standby for four masssive comeback gigs in 2025.
Noel, 55, who previously dismissed speculation of a reunion, had softened his opposition in recent interviews.
However one industry figure told i: “The talk is premature. Liam is constantly pushing for the reunion but Noel is not there yet. There is still too much mistrust between the brothers.”
Their latest spat erupted after Noel called Liam a “coward” for not contacting him directly over the mooted concerts. “If he’s got a plan he should speak to me,” Noel told talkSPORT.
Noel appears reconciled to sharing a stage with his younger brother at some stage, telling talkSPORT he would have a conversation with Liam and his live booking agent, Wasserman Music.
Reports suggest Wasserman has placed an option on booking four nights at Knebworth for Oasis shows in front of a total audience of 680,000 people.
Those shows would generate around £80m pounds with an ensuing tour netting the Gallagher brothers far more.
“A world tour could hit £300m, and then there is the merchandise sales and a possible deal for new music. It immediately puts them back up there with Ed Sheeran and The Rolling Stones. But it’s still a big ‘if’ if the brothers can’t bear to share a stage,” one live-music figure told i.
A 2025 Oasis reunion would mark the 30th anniversary of (What’s The Story) Morning Glory, the band’s 22 million-selling album that featured era-defining songs such as Don’t Look Back In Anger.
Liam has been pushing a reunion for years. Noel, who walked out on Oasis mid-tour in 2009, releases a new album Council Skies with his High Flying Birds band next week and has tour dates lined up for the rest of 2023.
Changes in Noel’s domestic circumstances have propelled the reunion forward, one figure in the music industry said.
“Noel divorced his wife (Sara MacDonald, after 22 years together) and the financial consequences of a marital split is the biggest driver of lucrative reunions,” the person said. “Liam did not have the easiest relationship with Sara and has reached out to Noel since the split.”
Noel’s solo career has also plateaued. “Noel had huge success to start with whilst Liam’s band Beady Eye fell apart after two albums. But then Liam got his act together and his first solo album was a huge hit, overshadowing Noel’s more experimental material,” the person said.
“Noel still headlines festivals but he’s looking at smaller shows now. Liam sold out his own Knebworth gig last year. He is no longer the junior partner. Together they would sell out the world’s biggest stadiums and command huge fees.”
Liam is playing a limited number of summer festivals before his next solo releasem expected in 2024.
Noel Gallagher, Wasserman Music and Knebworth House have been approached for comment.

Thanks for sharing this.
I also think Noel is not there. Not sure when and if he will get there. Sara will likely take half of the money but he still has plenty, so not sure if financially he will feel the need to reunite.
I want to point here to "[Liam] has reached out to Noel since the split".
Then why Liam does not say that??
This makes no sense. We know Liam reached out in the past but if he did after the split, assuming end 2022/beginning 2023, then he should simply say that and stop Noel talkative for once.

He’s such an idiot.
That’s not news to him in any way, but he thought maybe he might have outgrown it while raising two teenage boys all alone.
But no. Put him in front of Sylvie Brett and any intelligence he has flies right out the window. She fogs up his brain and all he can think about is how close she is after so long without her.
He’s a man dying of thirst in the desert and she’s the oasis that’s just out of reach. These last few days are the nearest he’s been to water in far too many months. Being without her has been a new and strange sort of torture. Thankfully, he’s had the boys and Portland Fire and Rescue to serve as a distraction most days.
But in the quiet moments…
All he wants is her.

hey, i just wanted to thank you for looking on the bright side of this cinematic. everyone else i follow has been saying it didn't tell us anything lore-wise and only ever point out the bad stuff and while i know that's important (i've done it myself) your blog has been a nice oasis of positivity. because we did learn things from this short! and people just don't seem to be picking up on it :(
I have my own deep criticisms with the short to be frank, but for me, when it comes to things like shorts and installments my process works best when I focus on the positives at first and, after mulling over the negatives, present the criticism in a meditated way. It’s how I can best maintain my personal sanity and avoid exhaustion. It’s just how I personally work.
I do understand that the short did not explore things that many wanted to see—that is, specifically about McCree’s time in Deadlock twenty years ago and generally his backstory. However, I feel that this short is more “Infiltration” than it is “Honor and Glory” in that it is more concerned with unspooling the narrative present and setting up the future than it is with clarifying the past. The overall narrative of Overwatch is in its first act still, and there is still so much to still set up before moving to act two; I can write about this later, but trust me.
But! I agree! We did learn a lot about McCree from this short. Without referencing what we learned through Ashe’s origin video or bio:
He is not aimlessly wandering around North America. He has specific business he is attending to. Previously, this was unclear.
He supports the Recall. Compare to Jack, who is apparently against it. McCree is concerned about Overwatch, its mission, and the upcoming conflicts to the point that he is compelled to find them the best aid possible to ensure their highest chance of success.
He thought about the Recall thoroughly, specifically about the best way for Overwatch to succeed, and determined he wanted to answer by finding someone else to send to them. He appears to believe that the future battles Overwatch will face needs more support than he as a lone agent can provide to them—or they require a different skillset entirely. (See this post for more about this point.)
He holds no hard feelings toward his former associates in Deadlock. He actually hopes that their dealings would go more amicably than they did in this short.
He continues to hold a deep sentimentality for the people who made up the surrogate families in his life, Deadlock and Overwatch, even if his departure from those groups had bad circumstances. Look at how he approaches Ashe, BOB, and Echo. There’s even some sentimentality in his off-hand reference to Winston. This is new for Deadlock. For Overwatch, we saw some of this in spawn interactions, but since spawn interactions are more imagined dialogues, it’s nice to have something more solid.
He has a long and contentious history with Ashe, and their relationship was formerly close. Though she is vocally antagonistic toward him, she is quietly similarly sentimental about him.
He is not joining the Recall, though it is unclear if this means not at all or simply not until after his business is taken care of. However, it’s possible the “long story” exchange carries a promise of seeing Echo again soon, so perhaps he hopes to work with them in some capacity in the near future?
Immensely tactically minded—and I broke it down here. Well, we finally got explicit textual evidence of this. Before the short, it was plenty implied through his recruitment into Blackwatch, having been taught by Reyes, and position at Reyes’ right hand. (Retribution was an odd moment for him because it is emotionally charged, clearly sending him off-kilter, and much of his dialogue is with Moira, who aggressively believes him inferior to her. So, it’s a different side of him.)
Peacekeeper was in his possession before he joined Blackwatch.
Since I saw this mentioned several times, it pretty much confirmed “Deadeye” is fancy game mechanics and UI. This isn’t actually new since the description of the in-game ability literally says that he’s just taking the time to aim. Still, people say the short said nothing about it, and I disagree: the short shows that McCree is simply that good.
There’s also plenty of speculation fuel, for example:
Because he knows that Overwatch needs something they don’t seem to realize they need, this possibly implies that he knows something about the upcoming trials that Overwatch is not yet aware of. This is in line with the recurring theme regarding the looming conflict, “There is more to this than you know. This is bigger than you realize.”
If the above is correct, then it fits neatly into existing theories that he is working with Sombra in some capacity, either indirectly through her leaking things to him or as a more direct partnership. Consider how the files of McCree in Sombra’s hacker den in Castillo suggests she’s keeping close tabs on him.
For me, his “They want me, but really they need you” carries in it the same tonal promise as Genji’s “The world is changing once again, Hanzo, and it’s time to pick a side” and Sombra’s “There is something bigger going on. It will affect everyone and everything.” It feels like the three of them are preparing themselves and others for whatever they believe is coming. How much can we speculate that they’re working in tandem? It feels very Blackwatch come again, similar to recalled Overwatch.
What is McCree’s business he’s attending to? I personally want to speculate that it’s more of what he’s doing now: picking up people that he believes the Recall needs but could not contact. But, who knows. There’s much possibility, but it felt like it was in that vein of professional business.
Overall, the short is more concerned with looking forward than it is looking backward. Most of the critical narrative questions about McCree before this short centered on what he is doing in the present and what his plans for the future are. It is fair to spend time answering these questions and setting up these threads. As I said, “Reunion” is more “Infiltration” than “Honor and Glory”.

Oasis ‘reunion’ dates revealed as Noel and Liam Gallagher consider Knebworth gigs
Hannah Hope
AFTER I revealed last week that Liam Gallagher’s agents had put forward plans for Oasis to perform four nights at Knebworth in 2025, I can reveal they are considering doing the gigs in June of that year.
The summer comeback concerts would mark the 30th anniversary of (What’s The Story) Morning Glory?, Oasis’s 22million-selling 1995 album and see them perform to up to 125,000 fans a night.
A source said: “Agents are provisionally looking at dates in June, which would see fans enjoying Oasis again with the chance of the sun shining.
“Of course, even if it did pour down with rain, fans would still show up for the historic reunion.”
The news sparked some lively name-calling between brothers Liam and Noel this week, but I’m told the siblings are just enjoying upping the ante publicly.
Noel labelled his brother Liam a “coward”, while Liam blasted his big bro on Twitter.
My mole adds: “For Liam and Noel, this public slanging match is all part of the show – they know it gets everyone’s attention and keeps people guessing.
“Both are set to release solo albums soon and are each due to tour next year, so it helps to keep people riveted.”
I don't want to believe this is a show they have consciously put on and enjoying particularly. But, they like the attention they get anyway.

Hero 30 needs a map
Long rambly thing. So I was feeling frustrated and a little hyper-fixated on OW earlier this afternoon because the game itself feels very dull right now.  My partner @starsherit - who I met through Overwatch - helped me work through my irritation, but they provided a perspective I literally had never thought about before:
There hasn’t been a post-launch hero who did not have a map.
Let me try to explain this a bit:
Plenty of launch heroes didn’t really have a specific map associated with them.  D.Va, Lúcio, Mei, Symmetra, Junkrat/Roadhog, even Reinhardt all come to mind.  That initially seemed fine: the developers were releasing both new heroes and new maps at a consistent pace.  First we had Ana, who was associated with the Temple of Anubis, and then Eichenwalde, which was also part of the first post-launch animation “The Last Bastion.”
Then we had the Sombra ARG, Sombra’s release, and “Infiltration.”  These all occurred at Blizzcon 2016.
But then something a little odd happened.
The next map was Oasis.
And it was not...connected to any characters.
...Yet.
Like Ilios and Lijiang, Oasis initially was...“free-floating”.  Yes, it was coherent and consistent with the rest of the Overwatch universe, but it had no real ties to the main plot.  Eichenwalde at least had Balderich and the Crusader battle to ground it, but Oasis had nothing.
Except a single interaction:
Sombra: So what are we doing here, boss?
Reaper: I need to pay a visit to a friend.
And that led to a lot of speculation about who Reaper’s “friend” was, if Mercy was somehow associated with Oasis, etc.  But this was quickly lost in the hype over Numbani, Doomfist’s missing gauntlet, and the release of Orisa.
Orisa was followed by Horizon Lunar Colony.
And that brought Hammond hype.
(You might see where I’m going with this.)
[TL;DR: Hero 30 is probably associated with the next map.  Based on the lore and fan reactions, this map is very likely a Vishkar-based map.  It’s possible the map might be something else, but Vishkar is currently the last “major” plotline (aside from Mercy’s story) to be explored.  A Vishkar map will advance the plot, give more lore to Lúcio and Symmetra, and likely provide teasers for Sanjay Korpal.]
After Horizon, Doomfist arrived.  The next map was Junkertown, which despite initial fandom reactions, actually contained hints about Hammond/Wrecking Ball that very few people picked up on (if that).
And then, with Blizzcon 2017, we got Moira.
Many people (who hadn’t picked up on the Reaper-Sombra interaction or her cameo in Masquerade) were very confused.  Where was Hammond (presumed by most of the fandom to be a chimp)?  Or the Junkertown Queen?  But those of us who had been waiting for Reaper’s “friend” to show up were ecstatic!  One full year later, Moira connected Oasis to the main plot!  There was a bunch of new lore details on the map to dig into!  It was an exciting time.  Sure, yeah, there was also the cute new map Blizzard World, but it felt like an afterthought.
Come around to early 2018.  Brigitte was released and she effectively killed Dive comp at most casual levels, while slowly encouraging the rise of GOATS.  The first new map of the year was Rialto, made specifically for Retribution, and then turned into a payload map (with a whole bunch of balancing problems).  But no one needed a story for Rialto’s existence because, well, it already had one.
July 2018, we got Wrecking Ball, one full year after the launch of HLC and almost a full year after Junkertown.  People were surprised he’s a hamster even though it never technically said he was a monkey, ape, or specifically a chimp.  People were even more surprised that he was actually part of the Junkertown plotline (in a small way).  But at the very least, he had been teased in advance.
In August 2018, we got Busan, which - like Junkertown and Eichenwalde - filled in a previously empty “gap” in the maps, giving D.Va a real location and setting for her character.
And now...Blizzcon 2018.
We got Ashe, who feels like a complete shot in the dark.  Nothing had really implied her existence.  We also got Echo, but then we’re immediately told that Echo “isn’t ready” and will not be Hero 30.
Myself and a few other lore fans were confused: for the last six to eight months, in-game interactions had implied that Sanjay Korpal and the rest of the Vishkar plot was steadily being brought to the forefront of the story.  Lúcio, Symmetra, Doomfist, Moira, and Sombra had a bunch of new interactions that seemed to be slowly hyping Sanjay up the way that the Reaper-Sombra interaction had hinted at Moira’s existence.
But - and this was my partner’s main point -
There was no new map.
And we knew there wouldn’t be one, Jeff told us as much, but it never really struck me how important maps were for heroes until Gonzo put it that way.  The map wasn’t quite ready for Blizzcon 2018 - understandable because Busan had been so massive to develop - but maybe the new map is very closely associated with Hero 30 or even Hero 31, and the team didn’t want that to be overshadowed by the main reveal, Ashe.
Which is effectively what Jeff implied in his pre-Blizzcon developer update.
Here’s how the actual pattern shakes out:
Ana > associated with a launch map (Anubis)
Sombra > associated with a launch map (Dorado)
Orisa > associated with a launch map (Numbani)
Doomfist > associated with a launch map (Numbani)
Moira > associated with a post-launch map (Oasis)
Brigitte > associated with a post-launch map (Eichenwalde)
Wrecking Ball > associated with two post-launch maps (HLC and Junkertown)
Ashe > associated with a launch map (Route 66)
So where does that put us now?
A new map IS being worked on.  And, from a lore perspective, it is almost guaranteed to be a “missing” map for two current heroes and likely one particular future hero:
A Vishkar map.
Lúcio and Symmetra are noticeable “missing” a map.  Reinhardt (Eichenwalde), Mei (Ecopoint), Junkrat and Roadhog (Junkertown), and D.Va (Busan) all have maps now.  The four remaining launch heroes who are still “missing” a map are Lúcio, Symmetra, Mercy, and Torbjörn (but Torb does have some interesting lines for stuff like Volskaya Industries).
It is entirely possible Sanjay is Hero 30 or 31 but the map which helps establish his character wasn’t ready for Blizzcon 2018 - or rather, the team didn’t want to launch it at Blizzcon because it would’ve been downplayed like Oasis and Blizzard World before it.
While this doesn’t override the slew of problems I have with Ashe, it does make her the “easy” choice: release her in tandem with the “Reunion” short (and then be very honest that Echo isn’t ready).  It also makes sense why she was barely teased before Blizzcon: she’s associated with a launch map that hasn’t been touched up in over two years.  If you look at Ana, Sombra, and Doomfist, all of them had teasers on their own associated maps well before their releases.  Ashe, however, was not developed until they started making the “Reunion” short, so she has no actual teasers on Route 66.
Meanwhile, the post-launch maps either teased specific heroes (Oasis and Moira, HLC and Wrecking Ball), or were inherently associated with them (Eichenwalde being strongly associated with Reinhardt and Brigitte, etc).
So what can we guess for Hero 30?
They need a map.
There are at least three maps in the game currently that hint at future heroes, but two of them likely combine for just one:
Lijiang: Whether we like it or not, Lijiang Tower hints that Harold Winston is still alive.
Ilios/Petra: hints at a new archaeologist or geologist character eventually being revealed.
And the next map?  The one currently being worked on?
Here are my guesses:
Vishkar: Effectively a matter of “when” not “if.”  It might be Utopaea itself, or it could be the Vishkar building in Rio de Janeiro.  Either way, it would immediately further the Vishkar storyline, provide new lore for Lúcio and Symmetra, and establish teasers for Sanjay Korpal.
An underwater map: either an Ecopoint (Ecopoint: Hawaii) or the Gwishin Omnium.  Could be used to establish an upcoming Hero (or possibly Echo in some way).  A fan-requested map now that Horizon Lunar Colony and Busan have been made.
Interesting, in Jeff’s little disclaimer in the pre-Blizzcon Developer Update, he says this (bold is for emphasis):
“To be honest, we felt like [Oasis and Blizzard World] got a little bit lost in the shuffle both during the timing of announcing at Blizzcon and also the time at which we release them - they didn’t have as big of an impact as we really wanted, and we feel like a new map is something very, very special.  So we are definitely working on new map content - we know that’s something that you all love and all request often, so don’t think that by us not announcing something at Blizzcon, it does not mean that there’s no work going on, we’re definitely working on new map content.  You’re just not going to have any new map content announced at Blizzcon.”
They want us to react to this upcoming map completely “free” from the Blizzcon hype.
This is combined with the fact that, according to Jeff, Hero 30 is already fully playable internally at Blizzard, and that the team always has 2-3 heroes “ready to go” in case something goes wrong with one of them.
Now, this doesn’t guarantee that Sanjay is Hero 30, but it likely narrows down Hero 30′s identity to three major options: Sanjay, so long as a Vishkar map is released in the next two months; Harold Winston, for a “curveball” reveal; or a new archaeologist/geologist associated with Ilios, Petra, and Ayutthaya.  Hero 30 could be something different than these -
But it’s the maps which will provide more clues.

Even More Questions and Speculations
Did Lucio have Salim and Aisha's bodies?
Asra said Lucio muttered Emperor, Empress (daddy and mummy Satrinava) and Chariot (Morga) but didn't mention The Lovers. Does he know where they are? Also, baby Asra looked freshly orphaned when Lucio first came into town 17 years ago...  🤔
IF Lucio has Asra's parents, then did they make Lucio’s magic golden arm?
Weelll... The arm looks like advanced magic, and we got two kidnapped talented magicians that Lucio could be keeping in a dungeon somewhere. Given the kind of respect that the townspeople and Saguaro show to Asra, powerful magic isn't that common in Vesuvia or in Nopal. It's hard to think of anyone else but his parents who could've made it. :/ It could also explain why their spirits are in the oasis because, eh, who likes working for Lucio when you can yeet into rainbow land?
I still think Salim is related to the Satrinavas. It’s a good reason why devs had to hide Asra’s family name.
Are we going to see the entire family, Asra, Aisha, Salim, MC all under the sway of the compulsion ?
The compulsion that Asra went into arcana Realms to escape works in Asra's oasis. I’m on edge about this. Hopefully it doesn’t come while they’re having their reunion, that would be so fucked up. Hopefully Asra’s parents know how to deal with this. Can’t imagine the Devil not trying eventually, but please let the poor family have at least have a good hug and talk. I just want them to be happy.
In any case, Lucio trying to find his mother? *sits down with wine* This is going to be good.
She won’t be as powerful as she was, she’d be way older now, but that family drama? So good. Hopefully she calls him Montag in front of everyone.

Lore Compilation - Hero: Zenyatta
This post is the [Tanks | Damage | Ana | Brigitte | Lúcio | Mercy | Moira] in a project I’m carrying out to compile all the lore on every individual hero, scattered through the various pieces of media we’re provided with. While I’m sure many people already know all of this, it’s intended to be a good starting point for people who don’t, and a good reference point to those who do. This post will include links to official media, screenshots and descriptions of voice lines.
This post will not include sprays, nor any kind of analysis, speculation or theories. However, it is important to note that every piece of media is being given to us through the perspective of an unreliable narrator, so while the material is canon, it may not be the truth of the situation.
(Rest under the cut.)

Maps:
Zenyatta’s  ‘home map’ is Nepal. Unfortunately, the player cannot find any of his belongings there.
He has voiceline interactions on the following maps:
Hanamura: "So this is where you grew up? You must show me around." (to a friendly Genji)
Horizon Lunar Colony:
"The damage doesn’t look so bad from up here." (when using the telescope)
"An omnic on the moon is not so special. There are more robots than humans in space."
Junkertown:
“It is sad to see a place that might have known peace reduced to this.”
“I feel most unwelcome here.”
King's Row: "If only human and omnic could learn to live in peace here..."
Nepal:
"It is good to return, but am I still welcome here?"
"I have not returned here for many years. I wonder if my brothers and sisters will be pleased to see me."
"I can feel the embrace of the Iris so strongly here."
Numbani: "How wonderful! A place where omnic and human live as equals."
Oasis: "What a fascinating place! Can science alone unlock the path to enlightenment?"
He also sings karaoke on Busan!
Voiceline Interactions:
Bastion:
Zenyatta: Tell me your thoughts, my friend. Bastion: [friendly beeping]
Doomfist:
Zenyatta: I believe that you could find peace. If you were to search within yourself. Doomfist: What is tranquillity but stagnation?
Genji:
Zenyatta: It is good to fight alongside one of my brightest pupils. Genji: And you, master. / (Oni / Sparrow Genji) That was another life.
Zenyatta: Genji, how was your reunion with your brother? Genji: He’s still not ready for time to flow forwards again. Zenyatta: Time is a river. It may be stopped for a while but it will always flow the same direction.
They also have a specific interaction for King’s Row and Eichenwalde.
Genji: Does the suffering of the Omnics here trouble you, master? Zenyatta: It does. My brother, Mondatta, gave much to improve their lives... but it was not to be.
Hanzo:
Zenyatta: I sense within you the same rage that once consumed your brother. Hanzo: We are NOTHING alike.
Moira:
Moira: I must know how you function. Zenyatta: Existence is a mystery, isn't it?
Orisa:
Zenyatta: Do you have any dreams, my friend? Orisa: I do not dream as humans do, but it is my desire to become the hero Efi believes that I am.
Orisa: Tekartha Zenyatta. I wish to learn about the Iris. Zenyatta: I would be happy to teach you. It is rare that I meet one with such an unformed mind.
Pharah:
Pharah: An omnic in my squad took his own life rather than be controlled by an AI. Zenyatta: A noble, but tragic sacrifice. I hope that you will honor it.
Symmetra:
Zenyatta: Symmetra, You speak of law and order but you must know that life is chaotic by its very nature. Symmetra: Hmm! To be lectured about chaos and disorder from a machine.
Symmetra: What can you know of life? Zenyatta: Only that which I have observed, experienced and processed. All is one within the Iris.
Torbjörn:
Zenyatta:  I hear that you have taken in an omnic, Torbjörn. Torbjörn: I don’t want to talk about it.

Married With Children: Liam Gallagher
William John Paul Gallagher or Liam was born on September 21, 1972 in Manchester, England. At the age of ten, his mother Peggy took Liam and his siblings away from his father Thomas for his abuse. After Oasis had become successful, his father appeared at a bar, which caused the singer to later threaten to break his legs on the phone if he ever saw him again. Coincidentally, Noel was the one at that bar, who calmed his brother down to avoid any physical altercation. Liam had a bit of a rebellious youth, especially during his teen years when he had a propensity for stealing bicycles. He would attend St. Bernard’s RC Primary School and St. Barlow’s Catholic High School. A common false story was that at 16 he was expelled for fighting, but he only received a three month suspension eventually receiving his graduation certificate. At a younger age, Liam seemed to enjoy sports more than music until a rival student injured his head with a hammer. He began to be increasingly drawn towards music as an interest, not athletics. The future Oasis frontman fell in love with the idea of being the singer in a rock and roll band. Liam started listening to bands like the Beatles, the Stone Roses, the La's, the Who, the Kinks, the Jam, and T. Rex. By far, his favorite artist emerged as John Lennon, who years later the singer would joke was him just reincarnated. As his interest in music increased, Liam would sometimes assist his brother Noel as a roadie for Inspiral Carpets.
After the breakup of Oasis, Liam started a new band including Gem Archer, Andy Bell, and Chris Sharrock called Beady Eye. He made this brief announcement in November 2009, “Oasis are done, this is something new.” He later went into more detail during an MTV interview. “We've been demoing some songs that we've had for a bit. Just doing that, on the quiet, not making a big fuss about it. After Christmas we might go in the studio and record them and hopefully have an album out in July." One year later Beady Eye released their first singles, “Different Gear” and “Still Rolling.” In February 2011, the group released its debut album entitled Different Gear, Still Speeding. The album had been preceded by the singles. The songwriting on the album is listed as co-writers between Gallagher, Bell, and Archer. Both The Independent and the BBC felt that the album improved upon the final album by Oasis. New Musical Express liked the record’s simple premise, while calling the track “Bring the Light” a very nice surprise. Q and Mojo both agreed that the LP surpassed the expectations before the release thinking that it would not be this good. In March 2012, Liam announced that the group would actually perform Oasis material at their shows beginning with a set before a Stone Roses concert. Speculation soon began and has not stopped since that an Oasis reunion is on its way. The world is still waiting for that reunion, which will probably never take place. In August of that same year, Beady Eye performed “Wonderwall” as part of the Summer Olympics closing ceremony in London. Beady Eye’s second album would be released in June 2013 entitled BE. In promotion of the album, the group played a secret show at Glastonbury that year. Unfortunately, the sales of the release proved to be much less than hoped for dashing any plans for a substantial world tour. Unlike the critical response to their debut, BE received more of a mixed reaction with some publications disliking the poor lyrics and shoddy production. In October 2014, Liam announced that he would be disbanding the group permanently.
For the next couple of years, Gallagher resisted putting out a solo album, until he made the decision to put out some solo material in 2017. The singer made it clear that this did not mean he would be embarking on a solo, but simply he a backlog of songs that needed to be done proper. The first single “Wall of Glass” came out in May 2017 coinciniding with a music video for the track. His first show as a solo performer would happen within a month as a fundraiser for victims of the Manchester terror attack. In June, he made a surprise appearance at the One Love benefit concert performing “Live Forever” with Chris Martin of Coldplay. Throughout the summer Liam performed new material at a number of festivals including Glastonbury, Rock am Ring, Benneiscasm, Exit, Reading and Leeds, and Pinkpop. The singer began a set at Lollapalooza but left the stage twenty minutes later apologizing to fans on Twitter citing vocal problems. His debut release As You Were was released in October 2017 confirming a successful comeback for Gallagher as it debuted at number one on the UK charts. As You Were sold the highest number of vinyl records in its first week in over twenty years. He even earned a headline slot at the Isle of Wight festival the following year alongside acts like Kasabian, the Killers, and Depeche Mode. In June 2019, the singer released the first single from his second solo album entitled “Shockwave.” The same day as the release of the single was the release of a documentary entitled As It Was profiling Liam’s road to his first solo and its success. Singles “The River,”“Once,” and “One of Us” followed in the next couple of months prior to the album’s release. Why Me? Why Not would officially come out in September 2019. One month prior Gallagher performed an acoustic show for MTV Unplugged at Hull City Hall bringing things full circle since the early years of Oasis. He would be joined on stage by former Oasis member Bonehead during the show. Most critics reacted positively to the new record feeling that it built upon what he had started with his debut. In January 2020, the singer released an acoustic ep featuring a combination of his solo material and Oasis songs. A third solo album is now in the works entitled C’mon You Know due in May 2022. The first single has been released called “Everything’s Electric,” which he co-wrote and performed with Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters.
Throughout the years, Liam Gallagher has gotten into his fair share of trouble. Here are some of the highlights. After an argument on an airline going to Australia over a scone, Liam would be banned from Cathay Pacific Airlines. Around that same time, he would be arrested for head-butting a fan wanting a photograph with him. Criminal charges would be dropped, but the civil case led to Gallagher settling out of court for an undisclosed sum. In 2006, Liam would get into a fight with soccer player Paul Gascogne in a London bar ending with the Oasis frontman setting a fire extinguisher off in his face. In 2010, he accepted the Brit Award for Oasis thanking all the members of the group, except for his brother in a profane speech. He then gave the award to a person in the crowd. As early as 1994, his words were creating quite a stir as noted by his comments about Americans. “Americans want grungy people, stabbing themselves in the head on stage. They get a bright bunch like us, with deodorant on, they don't get it." He also made some negative comments about his brother Noel around that same time leading to Noel leaving for a short time. Some things never change with the Gallagher brothers.
In his personal life, Liam first married actress Patti Kensit in April 1997, but only two months later the singer began an affair with fellow singer Lisa Moorish in Los Angeles. This led to the birth of a daughter that he only first met in 2018. Molly would later changer her surname to Moorish-Gallagher. He and Patti had a son Lennon Francis born in 1999, but the couple divorced in 2000. In 2001, he had a second son with Nicole Appleton, whom he married in 2008 after an eight year courtship. From 2011-2012, Gallagher had an affair with journalist Liza Ghorbani, which led to a daughter Gemma born in 2013. Five months after separating from Appleton the affair was publicly reported just as he had begun to date his personal assistant, Debbie Gwyther. In 2014, the former Oasis frontman moved in with his mother in her home in Ireland, while at the same time had next to no relationship with Noel. He continued to ask him to participate in an Oasis reunion to help with his financial strains, but the pleas fell on deaf ears. He had planned to marry Gwyther in the summer of 2020, but the pandemic postponed those plans. Liam has been a lifelong supporter of Manchester City, but also follows Celtic F.C. as well. His favorite films are Quadrophenia, Scarface, Seven, and Trainspotting. His close friends include musicians Richard Ashcroft, Ian Brown, Jarvis Cocker, Miles Kane, Lee Mavers, Gary Mounfield, Dave Grohl, and the late Taylor Hawkins. He is also an avid jogger in his spare time, but more recently his doctors have advised him to run less due to hip issues. In 2021 while performing at Isle of Wight festival, the singer feel out of a helicopter suffering bruises and cuts to his face, but he quickly recovered with no long term effects.

Smutathon prompt: Reunion sex (any type of reunion - big reunions after being brainwashed, little reunions after completely a mission, anything)
A year late, but inspiration finally struck. IW spoilers. Heavily inspired by @blessedharlot‘s speculations about IW 4.
Listen to this
“What the fuck,” Bucky states. “Steve, why are you staring at me like that?”
“Seriously, man,” Sam chimes in. “I know you’re basically like a super large puppy, but are you really going to cry?”
“Shut up.” Steve tries to hold it together. “It’s just- We’ve been here- I’ve been here before. So many times.”
“Like, in Wakanda?” Sam asks. “Duh. Also, not that often.”
Steve takes Bucky’s hand and stares at it. Bucky gets more weirded out by the second. “No, look, we’ve been- we’ve been at this point before,” Rhodey explains. “We reversed time- infinity stone, really complicated, long story- basically we tried and tried again until it all worked out.”
“What?” Bucky asks uncomfortably. “What usually happens?”
“You turn to dust,” Steve whispers, still staring at Bucky’s hand, which is doing exactly nothing. “You walk onto this clearing and you say my name and then you turn to dust.”
“You’re in the bushes,” Rhodey says to Sam. “I call for you, but when I arrive, all that’s left is ashes.”
“Wow,” Sam says. “That sucks.”
Steve snorts, lets go of Bucky’s hand and wipes at his eyes. “Yeah. Sucks. Especially if you see it a gazillion times.”
“Cap, that’s almost a swear word,” Rhodey replies, tongue in cheek.
“So, you watched us die over and over again?” Bucky asks.
“Boy, it was more complicated than that,” Rhodey says. “But that’s what it felt like.”
“Wait, so- who survived? Originally?” Sam asks.
“Rhodes and me”, Steve replies. “Thor. Natasha. Bruce. General Okoye. Rocket. Some others, but not here.”
“Who’s Rocket?” Bucky repeats dumbfounded.
“The talking raccoon,” Rhodey explains. “You know, that one. There’s only one, really.”
“Natasha seems to take it all in stride,” Sam remarks.
Natasha is standing around, rubbing her ribs absent-mindedly. Steve snorts. “Yeah, just let her pretend she cares about none of you at all. And don’t talk about the fact that she moved heaven and earth to reverse it.”
“How rude.” Sam grins.
“That’s all some crazy shit, man,” Bucky adds.
“I still can’t believe it actually worked out,” Rhodey agrees. “I mean, we were desperate.”
“Let’s just- let’s just go back,” Steve mutters. “Find T’Challa.”
“Wait,” Bucky interrupts. “So T’Challa- T’Challa also died? Who ruled Wakanda then?”
“Who do you think?” Okoye replies out of nowhere.
Steve sighs. “Let’s just- let’s just get back.”
She’s in the kitchen.
It’s the middle of the night and everyone fell into bed a long time ago. They’re probably not all sleeping. Especially Steve. Too much happened.
But Natasha is up, making tea. Her hair is blonde. He wonders about that. She looks over briefly and goes back to rummaging through the cupboards.
He’s not sure whether he wanted to find her or not. He only knows how it turned out. Now he can just wait and see what happens next.
He crosses his arms and leans against the doorframe. “So. I died.”
Natasha snorts. “Couple of times, yes.” She pulls a mug out of the cupboard and, after a moment of hesitation, a second one. “Nothing new for you.”
“I guess it’s different,” he says. “Turning to dust.”
She overplays a slight tremor in her hand by grabbing onto the counter. “Do you- remember?”
That could mean so goddamn many things. He decides not to push it. “Turning to dust? Kind of. It never happened, though, right?”
She shakes her head. “Not in this timeline.”
“But I remember it,” he insists. “You remember it.”
She turns her head to look away. “I do. Clear as day.”
“It seems like a dream to me.” He shakes his head. “A nightmare, maybe. It all seems like a dream.”
She turns back to him and whispers: “Better than this world?”
He sighs. “There is this place. It’s… not from this world. It’s orange, shallow water everywhere, like an oasis. Incredibly calm.”
She nods. “The Soul World.”
“That part really feels like a dream.” He approaches the counter where she’s leaning. “I was… happy. It felt weird, like I had forgotten how to… but I was happy. I remember that much.”
She looks up at him. He always forgets how short she is. “What made you happy?”
There’s a point where he can’t talk around it anymore, if he even wanted to. He sighs. “You were there.”
“Hm.” Her hands slide a little closer to him. The water starts boiling, somewhere, maybe in a different universe, in a parallel timeline. “Younger me?”
He looks at her stomach, her shoulder, her neck. “Before I ever hurt you.”
She nods, like everything makes sense. Or like she understands. “Simpler times?”
He snorts. “When was it ever simple?” He startles when the kettle turns itself off. “I guess- I knew it wasn’t real. In the back of my head. Like- just trying to hold on to something ephemeral, I guess.”
“Oh, do I know that feeling,” she mutters and pours the water into the mugs.
“It wouldn’t be the same,” he says. “We were different people, in a very different situation.”
“No,” she agrees. “It wouldn’t.”
“You were over ten years younger,” he continues. “You were so young, and so broken. And I- I’m not even sure I know who I am now.”
“You’ll figure it out,” she says. “Soon enough. It’s hard, but you will make it.”
“I didn’t know who I was back then either,” he states. “Maybe it doesn’t matter.”
“Maybe it doesn’t matter who we are or who we were,” Natasha says, putting the mugs away and stepping right in front of him. “Not right now, at least. Not here.”
His hand touches her hip so easily. Her blue eyes stay focused on his. There is no discomfort in her body, none at all. Her fingers reach around his forearm, the right one. “Just now?” he whispers.
“Just now,” she promises, and her left hand goes to the back of his neck and the next moment they’re a pulling mess of crashing lips, interwoven limbs and shared breath. No thinking. No comparisons. He lifts her onto the counter and she pulls him back to her, like a rubber band, crashing her body against his. There’s no past, no future. Just now. Just them.
Her hands are in his hair, while his grab her hips and pull her forward, without ever leaving an inch between their lips. She’s warm. He nestles at her shirt, but without enough dedication to pull it off. Instead he rips himself away from her lips and starts kissing down her neck. She groans and tugs him even further down. “Gosh, your hair is long.”
He grins, biting her neck. “Like it?”
“It’s longer than mine,” Natasha replies, sounding almost complaining. “Yes. Don’t stop.”
He pulls at the neckline of her shirt but it won’t go far enough, so he just licks over her collarbone. She snorts and pushes him away to pull the whole shirt over her head, and he uses the opportunity to do the same. Of course she grabs his hair to pull him back, and the rubber band snaps again.
He grabs her ass to pull her off the counter so he can fiddle with the button of her pants. She slaps his hand away and does it herself, kissing him passionately, hand wrapped around his neck. One leg off and she’s back on the counter, not even bothering with the second one. Fine with him. He pushes her panties to the side and slides a human finger into her, crooking it immediately. She drops her chin against her neck, leaving his lips but keeping her forehead pressed against his. He can’t tear his eyes away from her face and the cracks of bliss when he pushes against a certain sweet spot.
The noises are something else entirely. She is getting tighter and her right hand is patting aimlessly around his crotch. His eyes fall closed, listening to her whimpering. He presses the flat of his hand against her and she starts moving her hips. All he can do is push and pull with his finger, and judging by her breathless moaning, he better do it hard and fast.
Her fingers dig into his thigh. Her wetness starts running from his finger down the rest of his hand. He opens his eyes to her biting her lip, eyes pressed shut. She clenches around his finger, once. Her back arches, sending her chest flying against his body. He keeps going.
A gasp rips her lips apart and then she clenches again, much harder, and suddenly she buckles all over, her whole upper body falling against him, face buried in his shoulder, his neck. He hooks his finger inside of her and pulls hard, making her tense and gasp again, and then he lets go.
She’s panting against his neck and he hesitantly wraps his left arm around her, pulling her even closer. She doesn’t do anything except breathe. He wishes it could always be like that. She is warm, even warmer than before. She feels boneless. Her legs are loose around his hips, but she holds up just fine when he takes a step back.
She’s just sitting there, eyes closed, half undressed, breathing. He rinses his hand, watching her. He wonders where she’s been, all those years. What she was doing, how she was coping. He wonders who she is now and what made her be that way.
She opens her eyes and all thoughts about the past fade away. The rubber band pulls him back. She studies his face while opening his pants. He can’t tell what she is thinking, if anything. He doesn’t ask and she doesn’t tell. He pushes his pants down and she raises her hip to slip her panties off on one side. He pulls her hips towards the edge of the counter and presses against her and then he’s already inside of her.
She sighs and he remembers that noise, distinctly, and he waits until she pulls at his right shoulder to start moving. His balls uncomfortably hit the counter, making him groan, and she pushes her left hand between them to take care of that. Her right arm drags him halfway onto her so she can bite his earlobe. He closes his eyes and tries to think of something else, anything else, but there is nothing but her.
She utters a breathless moan and pushes her hips a little more forward, resting mostly on her right elbow, and he fucks into her harder. She grins for a moment, fondling his balls, until another moan rips through. Her eyes are pressed shut. His right hand clenches into a fist, right next to her face. He leans forward, downward to devour everything her lips have to give.
The sound of skin hitting skin gets louder but he mostly hears her muffled mewling. He puts all his weight on his left arm, freeing the right one. He grabs her ass, first, then he somehow snakes his hand between them. Just holding it there, because the movement of his hips does the rest. Her head drops on the counter and her chest arches up.
Her hands both scramble to grab onto the edge of the counter, anchoring herself, and he barely has time to wish for her raking them all over his back before she seems to remember, digging the nails of her left hand into the skin over his shoulder blade, moaning, pulling. He tries to breathe, but it doesn’t matter, her chest is pressed against him, the fabric of her sports bra rubbing against his bare skin, her nails scratching over his back. Her right hand grips his metal shoulder, his waist, his ass, as if to assure herself that he is solid, that he is here.
He can barely hold it together anymore, moving just a little bit faster, and he’s not sure whether the sobbing noise comes from him or her or both of them. Doesn’t matter, he only feels her warm, wet tightness and the painful sensation of her nails drawing red lines over his back, and when she clenches, he loses it, coming while she pulses around him, barely hearing her moaning over the blood rushing through his ears. He collapses onto her before she is even fully through it, and that’s it.
He doesn’t move for several minutes, just listening to their slowing heartbeats, and when he does and sees her opening her eyes, he knows it was a mistake. She’s closing herself off again, already, before he is even off of her, and he sees it and knows that nothing he could say or do will make a difference. Just shutting everything, everyone out, as she knows how to do, as she was taught. He can only accept it and move on.
She cards her fingers through his hair, expression unreadable, but when she leans up and kisses him, it’s at least partly sincere. She studies his face, his eyes with a curious expression, and he wonders what she sees. Then she grabs the hair at the back of his neck and stares at the ceiling. “This never happened.”
It’s cold, even for her, but he nods anyway. It seems fair, given how much he has hurt her over the years, how much pain he caused her at every opportunity. He never expected more. Less, in fact.
He’s just moving to pull out of her, which seems like the only appropriate course of action, when someone on the other end of the room clears their throat, and he looks up and it’s Steve, standing just behind the open door, eyes directed pointedly at the ceiling. He steps back, plucking their clothing from the floor and wordlessly hands Natasha her shirt. She slips her other leg back into her panties and pants first before she pulls her shirt over her head while he’s still dealing with his belt. “It’s fine,” she says, carefully neutral. “Just go. Don’t worry.”
He looks over at Steve, who’s still pretending he doesn’t notice them at all, except for one quick side glance that hitches on his scarred metal shoulder. Natasha, fully dressed, hair perfectly back in place, throws tea bags into the mugs, with all the calm in the world. He pulls his shirt on, shrugs and decides to talk to Steve sometime else. He takes a mug of lukewarm tea and leaves.
Natasha puts sugar in her tea, which she never does, and stirs carefully before putting the spoon in the sink and moving around the counter, mug in hand. Steve snorts. “Ross was right. The nerve on you.”
“Look who’s talking,” Natasha returns coolly, sipping from her mug. “Been standing there for long?”
“No,” Steve replies sourly. “Long enough, though.”
Natasha drags the tea bag carefully around. “Don’t tell anyone about this.”
“Are you kidding?” Steve asks incredulously. “That’s what’s most important to you right now?”
Natasha sighs. “Just… don’t.”
Steve snorts again. “What, you think I never noticed? All this time? I just didn’t know you were… that intimate.”
“That’s over,” Natasha declares coldly. “That’s not me anymore.”
“Yeah, that certainly looked like you,” Steve returns sourly.
“We’re not picking up where we left off.” Natasha shakes her head. “I just… I wanted to go back. Just this once.”
“Sure, fine, whatever.” Steve rolls his eyes. “But did you have to do it in the kitchen, without even closing the door?”
“That’s your problem?” Natasha deadpans. “Decency?”
“I don’t know,” Steve answers honestly. “I don’t know if I even have a problem. You tell me.”
Natasha rubs at her eyes, sighing. “We’re different people now. I’ve changed so much and I don’t even know him anymore. And there is no way we can go back.”
“Okay,” Steve says. “And who said you had to?”
“Me,” Natasha answers honestly. “I wanted to go back. I wanted everything to be as it was, before all the pain and hurt came in between. But I know that’s impossible. So I just… grabbed onto what I could get.”
Steve sighs and leans next to her against the counter, arms crossed. “I mean, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t understand that. I’d have loved for Bucky and me to just continue our friendship like before the war. But I always knew that was delusional. We could never, even for a second, ignore the past 70 years. And I guess he was afraid that I expected him to be the same, and it took time and work to convince him otherwise and to build something new, and we’re probably not even there yet, but… I mean, you don’t have to throw out everything and start from scratch.”
Natasha snorts. “Yeah, I don’t know. That sounds exhausting.”
“Oh, come on,” Steve returns. “We just saved the world. Have you got anything else to do?”
Natasha rolls her eyes. “I just don’t know how it would turn out. And I hate uncertainty.”
“Yeah, I know,” Steve says. “You don’t have to decide right away. In fact, you can take as long as you want to figure that out. And if you decided against it… I’m sure Bucky would understand that.”
“Yeah,” Natasha agrees slowly. “He probably would.”
“As for me,” Steve adds. “I’d be glad if you two could figure something out that does not consist of constantly avoiding each other.”
Natasha grins. “But, Steve, who the hell cares about you?”
Steve rolls his eyes. “Thanks. And next time, for the love of God, close the door.”

Liam Gallagher has unequivocally ruled out an Oasis reunion.
Speculation that the '90s Britpop band would reform was reignited when Gallagher posted a cryptic message on Twitter this week suggesting he and his brother Noel had made up after the pair's almost decade-long feud.
Speaking to The Age on Wednesday night, Liam confirmed the pair have called a truce.
"I got a little thing through the door from his management team and so I think there's been a bit of a reach-out and a bit of a truce," he said.
"It's all good - season of goodwill and all that, you know?"
Gallagher seemed baffled that his tweet had generated so much excitement online - "I don't look at the internet, what's it saying then? About a reunion and that?" - and said there would be "no more slagging".
"All is good in my neck of the woods," he said, before adding that fans should not expect this to mean an Oasis reunion was on the cards.
"God no, no. Oasis isn't getting back together, not at all. I'm doing my thing, he's doing his thing and that is the end of it," he said.
"It's still the same - it's just that I've called a truce on it and he's called a truce on it and no more slagging."
