Which OC is currently being mentally rotated?

I'm always either rotating a single OC or a duo of OCs in my mind, or flipping through them rapidly like a book of photos. Today's a single rotation day, and it's Rissa. What about you?

Another daughter & mom combo for my OC-tober clan Lavellan spread! Days 3 & 4, Rissa and Vera Namathari.

Vera took shelter with the dalish some 20+ years ago as she ran away from Tevinter, and Rissa was born soon after Vera's arrival to clan Lavellan.

To everyone's surprise, the girl developed magic and eventually became Keeper Deshanna's Second! She tries her best with studying but truly thrives in shapeshifting and exploration.

at this point my dnd characters are just like little action figures i put in situations. at this point i have so many aus and so many iterations of them that they're just multipurpose ocs. and by extension my friends dnd characters have become like oc in laws fo me. sometimes i play around with them a bit in aus bc i like to think that asja, iselrora, and leucif would be friends in every universe. and also bc i like them :]

Oc-tober day 28: Ess Lavellan & Rissa Namathari

They're not related, I'm just trying to cram the rest of my ocs into the remaining days, haha.

Rissa is my ttrpg character, but she makes a cameo in my DA:I longfic as Deshanna's Second. Ess on the other hand is part of my main worldstate Lavellan clan, and is too young to be apprenticed yet but pretty good for her age in ice magic! Her exact age is a bit open, but I imagine she's a bit older than Nava (maybe 8 at the start of DA:I?)

As time goes on and Astralis takes Deshanna's place as Keeper, Rissa will become his First, and once she's old enough, Ess will take the spot of his Second. With said inky being away a lot during DA:I, Rissa takes on a lot of his responsibilities after Wycome.

Rissa is a shapeshifter and tends to observe people of the clan rather than interacting personally, so the clan sometimes doesn't really know how to act with her, and having her take a temporary keeper's role after Wycome doesn't come without doubts, but she truly does take her tasks seriously, and loves the clan wholeheartedly.

NEW AND IMPROVED OC BINGO (1/5)

Does anyone else remember in Ye Olde Writeblr Days of Yore when we were all making OC bingo cards? I was looking back through my old ones and realized they could really use some updating. So...the trend doesn't have to be dead if I say it's back, right? We can have a revival?

Anyway, here is Part 1 of the New and Improved OC Bingo with Rissa and Ione's cards! They never even got to have cards the first time around because they weren't developed enough yet to fill all the squares!

yes im heartbroken that my oc ace isnt real bc i want more content of him that i dont have to make but also im so glad that he isnt real bc nobody understands him like i do. nobody would understand how his grief shaped him. nobody would truly understand his weird reluctant but also undying devotion to the soul goddess like i do. nobody would understand that he missed rowan more as an idea than as who he actually was like i do. nobody would understand that he fears nothing more than death by fire like i do. nobody understands his refusal to die because whenever he looks up to someone they die & his refusal to do that to his younger siblings like i do. nobody would understand that he never wanted to be who he is and if rowan had never died, he might actually hate this version of himself like i do. nobody would understand his fear of hurting people but willingness to do anything to protect people he loves like i do. nobody understands his dissonance with who he is like i do. nobody understands how nothing he ever does really feels like his alone like i do.

i genuinely do think i would be insufferable if anyone had a bad take about him. as such i will shut my mouth now
