rebuilding the tfbogd fandom because holy hell this fandom's been dead for 7 years

ok ok so like, go watch gd fanmades. now, to understand the chronological order and the fanon lore spanning across several creators' channels, you'd had to have been there but it's not too late. disclaimer: you do NOT have to learn spanish to understand most of the lore. i promise you it'll make sense so there are three main timelines: -the la bestia timeline -the final battle of geometry dash timeline (and then there's sub-timelines but i'll get to those later) -like, anything else. [i'll edit this later to provide playlists]

lore highlights of the la bestia timeline: -the keymaster gets possessed -i think spooky dies at one point but gets revived? -plural gatekeeper real -scratch gets kidnapped -geometry dash actually gets destroyed -it turns out octocube has a sibling (we have trans rep now. AJDBWSJBCSJBCJISBSCJKSBAIC /pos) -octo's sibling is actually vv chill -oh also the gatekeeper falls in love with the player for a sec. i think it's implied that he thought the player was either octocube or rubrub? either way WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FU- -iirc scratch and/or potbor commit war crimes, so they got that goin' for 'em

lore highlights of the tfbogd (final battle of geometry dash) timeline: -the obscurity just... existing. like, more bpd-coded than spinel herself. i love this lil guy fr fr. vv kinnable for my cluster b ass. -the entire arc of octocube actually being the darkness actually fusing with obscurity but also being obscurity- it's your choice if you want to take that as canon or them being separate characters, personally i like to think they're separate. -the darkness being a girlboss fr fr. bro woke up and chose violence and im all for it -they got the whole light and dark concept better than legend of korra did which is saying something lol -the light isn't actually a "good" person, they're amoral. -hello keymaster x player fans, we have a lil' something for you! other timelines' lore highlights: -slum is kinda just gender ngl -discount bill cipher being everywhere. -yes, oculus (the ruler of levels) counts as a character. no, they're not in any fanmade *videos*, but we all accept them as a character in the series -i forget which video it is but to all the "spooky is apothiaro" mfs out there, i'm sorry

implied thingies that i turned into headcanons and now just go with it: -bpd obscurity real -aspd darkness real -octocube is the epitome of the psychosis/schizophrenia spectrum -i ship keycube and no one can stop me (i think there's some, uh........... stuff implied in one of the fanmades, all i remember is that it wasn't made by phoenix or rmr24hd) -scratch has committed war crimes (i think everyone can agree on this ngl) -biscuit is bigender or at the very least not cis (tbf she does use he/she pronouns canonically) -triple a battery obscurity real (agender aroace)

Anyways this is Neurotoxin-verse (that one fic i wrote around october haha). A bit after Bill and Dip meet, where Bill has made it a habit to break into Fords lab and set free his experiments when Dipper is busy writing his supposed magnum opus. Gideon Gleeful is a good editor but a bad person. Dipper hates him.

Stramm’s scope is nothing less than cosmic in this, his most extreme narrative composed almost solely of verbs, fuelled & shaped by the battlefields he wrote in & the ciphers he wired his poems home through. solo

3. SIX-FOUR, Alastair Larwill (Canada, 2o1o); source: unpublished manuscript. accumulative disintegrational polysyllabicism formulated as an audio illustration in a discussion of articulational deliberateness with its dedicatee, Rob Read. full quartet

"for the artists protest committee for their call from losangeles for a tower against the war", an anagrammatic poem in 3 vowels & 4 consonants. duo: curry/Mathewson

" BREATH IS ", bill bissett (Canada, 1966?); source: bill bissett, fires in th tempul OR TH JINX SHIP ND OTHR TRIPS (Vancouver, Very Stone House, 1966). one of bissett’s concrete scattertexts, here divided into a demonstration of the logic inherent in his more radical field compositions. duo: curry/Larwill

Oiseautal / Super-Bird-Song, Raoul Hausmann (France, 1918?) & Kurt Schwitters (England, 1946?) respectively; source: Raoul Hausmann & Kurt Schwitters, PIN and the story of PIN (London, UK, Gaberbocchus Press, 1962). brought together by the 1st world war & separated by the 2nd, both friends independently came to write short works based on birdsound. this interlineated arrangement by curry (2oo9?) is a step toward A Visit to the Aviary, a short suite of related material from various sources. duo: curry/Pirie

11. Calling The Vegetable Collected, jwcurry (Canada, 2oo8); source: monograph (2nd ed, Ottawa, 1cent, 2oo8). hocketed statements that build multiple syntactic paths as the fragments first cohere, then disintegrate. full quartet

12. GLiNE OR EXTRATERRESTRIAL OCCURRENCES, Vaughn Bodé (USA, 1972?); source: Vaughn Bodé, JUNKWAFFEL no.3 (Berkeley, The Print Mint, 1972). Bodé’s 5pp comic relieved of its graphic anchor, its text no less rich in its significtions despite the lack of signposts. solo

The Tibetan Memory Trick, traditional/arranged by Howard Kaylan, Ian Underwood & Mark Volman (USA, 1974); source: Flo & Eddie, ILLEGAL, IMMORAL AND FATTENING (Canadian pressing, Columbia Records Limited, 1975). spontaneous insertion into KNOTS above. everyone in the band gets put through this one for articulational, breathing & body memory development. full quartet.

15. AGATHA! WAKE UP! I’M CURED!, Richard Beland (Canada, 1992?); source: unpublished manuscript. Beland’s language lines are as plastic as his visual lines, this short prose morphing from sense to sound to resense with every step. solo

Jubilee ends "Unrelatedly, there was a recital of whisk the morning of 17 July after a night the cats had raised hell on the front lawn, a group of robins fallen by the side of the hedge as though meeting on a street corner and – now headless to prove it – plumb run out of things to say, but still prettier representations of events than the sparrows the exact size of erasers stacked up with the heads on. // Which of course are words apart." solo
