Update on my October movie marathon:
Practical Magic is fabulous as always. Really wish I could have some midnight margaritas.
Watched Scream for the first time. It was great and I will be watching the rest of the franchise. As a side note: my first time seeing Skeet Ulrich in anything was Riverdale. How the hell does this man basically look the same? Also I'm in my Alice x FP feels now thanks.
Watching Scream and then going into the live action Scooby-Doo is hilarious especially since Matthew Lillard is in both.
My childhood heart is also very much in my Fred x Daphne feels. Growing up they were like one of my first OTPs besides Jasmine x Aladdin. So do with that knowledge what you will.

So I am a fuckin horror movie fiend. Love that shit. I'm going to watch something spooky every day in October. Maybe use that as a nucleus to write something like I did when I did Rocktober those years ago. Either way, October 1st was:
Creepshow!
Classic, iconic, fun, love George Romero and Stephen King as a team. Not a personal favorite, longer, but strong in the second half and good levity. I also didn't grow up with pulp horror comics.

1st panel -
It's October 1st!
Spooky Season has officially arrived! The advent of Halloween has begun, as well as the advent of my birthday! Needless to say, this is my favorite time of year, and I've made some plans to celebrate…
2nd panel -
October Celebration Part 1:
31 Days of Ghoulish Goodies
I'm trying to be more appreciative of the things I have, and it was this goal that inspired the first half of my Spooky Season celebration.
Starting today, throughout the month I'll be sharing some of my favorite Halloween-themed items that I've collected over the years. If possible, I'll also share where these items can be found, just in case you want to get one for yourself. :)
3rd Panel -
October Celebration Part 2:
Halloween Movie Art-athon
What would Spooky Season be without a movie marathon? Starting tonight, throughout the month I'll be watching at least 1 movie per night of the horror, creepy, or Halloween fun variety.
Here's the fun part. After each movie, I'll take to my sketchbook and draw something from the film. It could be a character, a scene, or anything else that strikes my fancy. Then, I'll post my creation the next day.
Disclaimer: Although I fully intend to stick to the daily plan, life has a funny way of interfering sometimes. If I accidentally miss a day, I apologize in advance, and I'll try to make it up of I can. :)
4th Panel -
That's all for now!
Of course, I'll be doing other Spooky Season activities such as baking, pumpkin-carving, and hopefully attending festivals and whatnot. I'll be documenting all of that as well as I see fit, so stay tuned!
In the meantime, I wish all of you the best Halloween season filled with wonderful autumn events and fun things to do.
Stay rad, Kree
