everybody on the whole fucking internet is talking about october in the sense that it's all $7 pumpkin spice lattes and christian white girl sweaters, but this october is all about coming out of an academic slump, early morning walks, lavender lattes because pumpkin spice tastes like grass. it's looking for mushrooms under logs in the rain and writing poetry in lamplight. going to football games and getting over the social anxiety just long enough to kiss a stranger. october is about starting new and discarding the old. october is walking around your tiny liberal arts college campus and wishing you were at princeton or dartmouth, which both rejected you. october is walking your bike to the shop because you ran over a thorn. october is for unrequited love. it is for delusional insane people who accidentally hurt the ones they love most. october is for fucking over your enemies with black magic you read on the internet and staying up all night for the full moon. it is friday the 13th, it is weentime, it is everything in between. october is the most wonderful time of the year.

The drawing on the left was my original idea for this greeting card. I've reworked it and reworked and reworked it more into the drawing on the right.

Next step is proofing and ink proofing and color and proofing and proofing and proofing.

We launch in a few weeks.

Ones upon a time there lived a witch. One day she decided to turn herself into a frog. And so she became known to the forest folk as the Frog-witch. Maybe she still lives there to this day, doing her witchy business, having the best time.
