I love how Hoyo is trying so hard to make Cyno seem intimidating but we all see his "desperate puppy that wants attention" side

Anyways

Your desert dweller pining idea gave me reincarnated tragic lovers vibes

Like reader was with Kasala in the past before the forbidden knowledge was brought to the desert, infecting them with eleazar and killing them

Which was probably part of why Kasala didn't fear death in the end knowing it means reuniting with the one he loved

Then centuries later you both are reincarnated in the same era as an eremite and Cyno. Ultimately meeting and falling in love just like in your past lives but now separated because of readers loyalty to the scarlet king

(Heck maybe it was the same in that past but switched with Kasala's devotion to his lord and reader being the one pining)

And then when the truth of the two gods are revealed you both get flashbacks of your last moments together centuries ago, the sight of reader's scale covered body slowly losing life with Kasala sitting right by holding tightly to their hand, unwilling to let go even if he has accepted this reality

The least could be done is letting your final sight of him be a happy one

"I love you even in the face of death, there nothing that could take this away..."

As reader close their eyes a small smile is visible on their pale face, clearly at peace with Kasala's words

"... but perhaps...in a new world, we can peacefully live together"

Side note: imagine Kasala or Cyno(to be a tease) calling you his eternal love or something similar. I wouldn't even need to have eleazar to die they'd just kill me with that

learning each other’s little details about body language and facial expressions and little things they do and figuring out which ones are more a cultural thing with respective species and what’s unique to them alone 🥰 and GOD. I’m such a sucker for the “really specific gesture that’s almost definitely interpreted as romantic in nature in their society that the other doesn’t know about” trope (cough cough Star Trek Vulcan kisses with the hands), like hmm Grian touching his fingers to Scar’s lips or touching noses as like a friendly comfort thing, but it just makes Scar all flustered. Scar casually crushing Grian in a very tight hug or something else, and Grian being very caught off guard and flushed from the immense amount of physical contact that he’s not accustomed to (it’s just a hug to Scar but a lot more to Gri). Finding ways to communicate through a language barrier, especially if it’s similar to mutually formed sign language, that gradually gets more intimate and touch-based and just a part of them as they grow to like each other more and more. Making each other flustered when one of them sits and looks so intensely over all the unique little features they aren’t used to, like Grian tracing all of Scar’s scars, or being fascinated with his hands and holding them in his own to press and move and watch all the small muscles and tendons and joints move. Scar petting the soft, feather like bristles (bear with me here lol) that mesh with Grian’s skin along his cheeks and shoulders, seeing the little patterns and colors and textures of each one, or feeling the texture of the tiny but sharp talons at Grian’s fingertips, and comparing their hands together. God I just really love human and alien falling in love and scarian makes it even better aaAAAAA 🥰🥰

Sorry I’m back again I’m brainrotting the human/alien au idea so freakin hard like, HHHH ITS SO GOOD. They do their best to make food from their own planets or just cultures in general and loving seeing their partners eyes just light up at some flavor or texture they’ve never had before and loving it to pieces. Learning new little details about each other all the time and TICKLE SPOTS. Both of them being delighted to figure out they’re both ticklish, even if it’s in weirdly different ways (like Scar being ticklish under his arms and the back of his neck, and Gri being ticklish on his shoulders or thighs) and just taking advantage of it when they’re playful 🥰. Finding little things they do or noises they make very endearing, Grian having never heard someone snore in his life before, and hearing Scar make soft little rumbles when he’s sleeping and Gri thinking it’s adorable, or Scar figuring out Grian’s little face feathers puff up when he’s embarrassed or frustrated. Heartbeats and pulse points!! Grian discovering Scar’s heartbeat and just in awe of how loud it is and being able to feel it if he smushes his face against Scar’s chest. Gri not really having a central circulatory muscle and just having much more noticeable pulse points in certain places like his neck and joints and wrists, or maybe having something similar to a heart but in a very different place than Scar does, and Scar wanting to learn all about it. Gah, I love this so much >_<

OH MY GOD I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT THIS AAAAAAA I'M SO SORRY ARAH

I had a crazy October and then I was Violently Ill and Lurking on this hellsite BUT I'M BACK (until I feel awkward and go back to lurking again)!!!

I'M SO EXCITED FOR NEW SEASON. So I've been watching traffic series since Third Life and I've been so completely obsessed with it that it ends up consuming my entire being for a while.

I loved the simplicity of Third Life tbh, seeing how the factions formed, alliances formed and broken, all of them playing with their three lives. Honestly though, just the desertduo brainrot. It's so real. I'll be going about my day and suddenly BOOM! Desertduo brainrot.

Last Life, I'll be honest, the thing i loved the most was Joel going absolutely INSANE. He is so pathetic but dangerous I love him to bits. Also Mumbo Jumbo. No I will not elaborate. (yes i will, THAT ENDER CRYSTAL. HE SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN SO MANY KILLS FOR THAT. Mumbo Jumbo deserved better). And Cleo. GOD. I am so completely obsessed with Cleo in every series she's a part of. AND ALSO ETHO AND BDUBS. The boogeyman system was really fun, going in to each episode and not knowing who was going to be Inflicted with the Curse, reading chat to see who kills who, keeping track of number of lives and deaths of every character, god i could go on. I've watched every pov from Last Life (no I did not touch grass but I see no correlation) and. Every single one of them was amazing. I loved it all to bits.

Also watched every pov of Double Life but PEARL. Pearl was hands down my favourite that season. I was slightly sad about having fewer episodes but i did love the soulmate system! Anything that gives me Joel and Etho together in my books is S tier so. No complaints. It was so cool because it made sure that people who hadn't necessarily interacted before had to adapt and play together in order to survive and it's just. So cool. How do they come up with these. How do they manage to live in our brains after all these months/years. I Do Not Understand. Incomprehensible. But I'm so glad they do because it is so fun to watch.

Every Friday evening (Tuesday before), I'd settle in with some snacks and watch every pov, make a playlist for each week and just. Get lost in their world for a little bit. I love them all so much.

Since we know that Thoma takes care of strays in his free time, I couldn't help but Imagine what his dynamic would be with a reader who has some sort of veterinary background yk? Like, imagine the reader comes to Inazuma city, and like on their first day in the new place they see Thoma feeding the strays under the sakura tree right and they're like, huh cute, tho they have to move on and get back to business. Tho, after since they've properly settled in, they also start caring for the strays in their own way–– checking them for illnesses, treating any wounds they may get, and bringing them food on days where they notice Thoma hadn't come around to his schedule. At this point tho, neither of them have really met, though they're aware of each others' existence yk?? At one point tho, their schedules do accidentally line up, and Thoma and the reader have like a meet cute n shit but omg my brain hadn't finished the brainrot so that's like all i got rn kjnadkjsndas

I feel like THOMA would be the one who’d catch vet!reader while you were checking on the strays—you’re weekly checkup, you call it. However, you find yourself usually drawn to the place even if it was not part of your schedule. Must’ve been your curiosity with the boy who always drops by just to feed and pet them each time he gets. It’s a rather rare sight, you’d think. People would usually ignore strays and at moments they pet or feed them, it’d normally be a one-time thing. This boy, however, genuinely cared for them enough to sacrifice his time and effort for their care.

“I didn’t know we now have a veterinarian in town,” he chirps and for a bit, you jumped at the surprise, however easing down when you saw who it was.

“I didn’t know there are people like you either,” you stood up and brushed the dirt off of you, finding a curve of a smile climbing up your lips, “It’s nice to finally have met you, I always see you around here. These strays wouldn’t have been receiving care if you’re not here,” you paused as you bow down in respect, “On behalf of them, I must thank you,”

He awkwardly chuckles as you saw him scratch the back of his neck, however grinning before crouching down to scratch the ears of that one dog who seeks for his attention. Silence engulfed the both of you but before it could even fester further, he speaks.

“You know, how about we thank each other through a meal?” he looks up and flashes a warm look towards you, however interrupted when the dog on his arms barked enthusiastically, making him chuckle, “See? Even this buddy agrees!”
