The whole incident was unintentional. But no. Westerners once again attack Japanese artist and scream racism As one Twitter user has found evidence of those who accused her of racism and whitewashing (despite it being unintentional.) Are guilty themselves of purposefully black washing and erasing white and Asian characters. It's ridiculous blackwashing and erasing Asian or White characters is seen as perfectly fine. But oh no accidentally colour a black character wrong and that be racist.

There was blacktober which was literally blackwashing characters. Seriously it is not helping give Black people representation by erasing other races. Besides even if you black wash Princess Peach, she still will be white and therefore still lacks the representation. Make your own characters or give representation to those Black Characters who don't get given the exposure they deserve.

If white washing is racist then so is blackwashing. It's not one is and one isn't.
