Ologs are little guys that I’ve been planning on illustrating for quite a while now. They are small jerboa like aliens who’ve adapted human like intelligence due to them being main food source for quite a few creatures that they share their planet with. Their tiny squishy body’s making them more than venerable to predations. They have 4 eyes that have the ability to separately look around leaving them with few blind spots and less opportunities for predators to land a surprise attack.

They also have insect like wings that are made out of an extremely reflective material, these often being used as a magnifying glass where they are able to direct sunlight onto dry grass and make wild fires. Why they do this? Simply to bring destruction as the little natural born arsonists that they are. They hate being seen as weak and small and to combat this they use large displays such as Olog made wild fires just to prove a point. Another thing these wings are used for is balance and to show off at your annual flirtatious date.

They are small in size, approximately reaching around 20 to 35 inches depending on the individual, standing around the height of a normal house cat. Their defence mechanism when under threat is to release a repulsive scent that smells like decomposition and a really nasty fart, but when this doesn’t work they will furiously flap their glittery wings in an attempt to scare away or blind their opponent.

I’m happy that the film adaption of the Lord of the Rings didn’t do the Scouring of the Shire, but if it did happen within Bruce’s verse… hoo boy.

He crossed Middle Earth to escape war and Mordor destroyed the very home and sanctuary he found.

Needless to say, the gloves are off and these poor Orcs are going to find out why Ologs are called ‘battle trolls’.

You didnt specify if you wanted yandere bruz or a gendered reader, so I tried to leave it ambiguous :) Sorry if its too short!

It didnt matter what Bruz did- he always made you feel small. That fact may sound obvious to anyone else, considering he is an Olog and you are a human.

But when he suddenly grabbed you, placed you on a bed and loomed over you... thats when you felt like the smallest, most vulnerable being ever. He practically purred at the sight of you, nervous and trembing as his massive body threatened to crush you if he allowed his weight to squish you. You always went still- something Bruz loved. "Just look at yourself... laying there for me... what is it? are you scared big bad Bruz might squish ya?" He asks with amusement. His hand comes over to caress your cheek lovingly. "You better not move then, you woudnt want me to accidentally lean on you and break your pretty little body..." He leans down to nuzzle against you, his arms dipping the matress under you. he carefully kissed your neck, before gracing his teeth against it.

You coudnt help but shiver and whimper, both in fear and in pleasure, you knew this was a dangerous game- for you. Bruz only chuckled as his other hand went to part your legs, you allowed it, barely resisting, earning another pleased grunt from Bruz. "Thats it. You only job is to lie there quietly and take it." his hand began to massage your privates, his eyes hungry and his breathing getting heavier. "You are mine to use."

Some sexual differences between the female and male Ologs. Males have an upturned face that makes them constantly look angry and if it wasn’t obvious enough their bright blue colouring that runs down from their face to their body. Males have a noticeable large plum body making them look like a little vibrant tennis balls, this makes them unevenly balanced as they are top heavy due to their long slim tails.

If it wasn’t for their wings which have more than one purpose mainly used for mating dances and to balance that little body. Another thing unique between the female and males is their complete different ways of locomotion, where males prefer to hop fitting to their body build making it easier to move without tumbling down while females prefer to run normally though they do tend to hop time to time keeping their long foot claws off the ground.

Females are a tad bit larger than your typical southern male Olog, having body’s that are are evenly balanced due to their much longer and thicker tails. This allows for much smaller and less visible wings making them less noticeable for predators. They have down turned eyes giving them the appearance of constantly being sad even though this might not be the case.

Compared to males they have much smaller antennae giving them less sensory input though this does not make them useless, as they serve the same purpose (picking up on chemical differences in the air). They have 2 large nails used for digging and barrow as females are responsible for creating miniature underground connections, where many female Olog create working communities underground, helping each other out and alerting each other of outside threats. Females have also been found to have larger brains though it hasn’t been observed that size difference makes any significant differences to intelligence.

Here’s the size differences, I’m doing this in Pepsi can math for a better visual representation and coz I can’t do math for shit.

Yandere Brûz Headcanons

For @moonstonevulture and @dirtymeanuruk (and myself 🥴😏)

Before Being Broken:

Brûz is dangerous for how he is both needy and insecure. He masks this well with his Warmonger bravado, but make no mistake: having you anywhere that isn’t either on his shoulder or in his arms makes him nervous to the point of becoming violent, and you wouldn’t want him to getting all upset, would you?

Some of his bad habits and traits include:

Having a constant need to have you within arms reach (being within his eyesight is nowhere near enough for him)

Hating you being within a meter of any other uruk or olog (and yes, it does extend to his blood brothers to a certain extent)

Never letting you have any meaningful relationships with anyone that isn't him (or an acquaintance with his blood brothers)

Nearly crushing you in his grip whenever he decides that you're done socializing for the day

Nearly crushing you in his grip when his jealousy rears its ugly head

Threatening anyone that he believes could (or would) threaten your relationship

Constantly begs you for attention and affirmation

Completely touched starved and is always picking you up and holding you close to his face

Probably has a special set of armour made just for you (you know, for ownership protection)

Likes to squeeze you hard on purpose, liking how fragile you feel under his grasp but it also makes him feel protective, as you are too squishy to be left alone anywhere in Mordor...

After Being Broken:

He's not what he used to be... Brûz is broken in mind and soul but not in body. He still remembers your touch and your scent, even if he doesn't understand why. He's no less dangerous than he was before, perhaps he's more dangerous now than ever before. You are a safety blanket that he cannot survive without. You are always attached to his person, one way or another. Even if he can't say your name anymore, he won't let you forget that he is where you belong.

Many of his old habits and traits remain, but he's much more fragile and needy and he doesn't hide it behind his bravado or use his words to get what he wants.

Rarely puts you down (if ever)

There never was much privacy, but now there is none

You will be covered in drool, tears and snot 24/7

If you aren't touching him in someway, he becomes outright hysterical

His fits are constant and never stop, but you are the only thing that keeps him somewhat grounded and keeps him from flying off the handle

He will get violent often and you will have bruises and broken bones

Your voice is soothing but he doesn't understand what you are saying (he doesn't even recognize his name but the sound soothes him nonetheless)

Glass Man (2006) by Ted Larson and Bob Allen, OLogic, CA, USA. Glass Man is the first real prototype of AMP, the "Automated Music Personality". The lower photo shows the prototype drivetrain for AMP, built at the same time.

The first step was to get rid of the surplus parts and integrate consumer-grade components and motors. There were two robots made: One was a full 3D-printed prototype that was fragile as glass, and the other was just the drive system with our existing electronics mounted on it.

We broke both of these prototypes more times than I can remember. Every time it broke, I would call up Bob, and he would come over and we would figure out a clever way to glue it back together. After tons of trial and error we eventually had something that worked, and then it was time to make the real product. Of Uruks and... Attire

We know for a fact that orcs are far from the primitive beasts that most believe them to be; first Tolkien confirmed uruks' love-hate for things of value and beauty, then the Middle Earth games give us more insight.

Not only we see uruks dressed in all kinds of garbs: from the leather, bone and fur attire of Ferals, to the elaborate ritualistic armour of Mystics; from the practical and generally unadorned uniform of the Machine tribe, to the terror-inspiring, uncomfortable armour of the Terror tribe; and so on. Considering the existence of cults, marginal groups and clans from inside a tribe, those differentiations vary even more, especially if we consider that orcs incorporate into their culture anything that they seem valuable/beautiful/practical. And that their economy is based on trading spoils of war. So we have orcs who will wear human/elven clothes and pieces of armour, as shown by these pictures:

Although stained and a little ruined, orcs still wash and hang their clothes to dry.

This is reinforced by Talion himself, who once noticed how orcs (not just the higher ups) wear accessories (he mentions rings and necklaces) of elven and human craft; by those ologs who wear tiny dwarf helmets; by all those orcs who fight with longswords instead of the classical scimitar.
