Not sure if this means anything at all hahaha but apparantly I’m analyzing their drinks now

I noticed that in the Rink-o-Mania scene, Mike and El both have milkshakes, Will does not (he’s got his hand in a… plastic bag?? Idek why they gave him that)

Once they get home and have that dinner tho, everyone at the table has a Coke can BUT El.

I was thinking it probably just symbolizes who’s the «outsider» in that moment, like Will was obviously the outsider in the rink scene, but after the whole Angela thing the dynamics changed and now El’s the one frozen out. It’s such a small detail tho but like it’s still a choice that has been made.

Not saying this is proof or anything, just an observation on the film-making choices!
