Hi, Good morning... or afternoon or night, whatever your times is. I hope I didn't bothering you by makimg another request. You didn't have to do it if you are busy or uncomfortable with it 🤗😉

Anyway, it was aboit story and headcannons. The reader is twin of Poseidon and married to Hades due Kronos who arranged it. She is very loved by her siblings and Poseidon beloved twin (the only one he respect aside from Hades). Before the marriage between her and Hades though she meet with Beelzebub (Sorry, I requesting him. You must be bored by now, but he is my favorite 🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️). They became friends and later lovers (she is immune to his curse and very strong as she is Goddess of Void, Tide, Destiny, Humanity, and Curses). When the marriage announce Beelzebub think it was for the best and try to made reader think he cheat on her by going with Lilith. Or the reader beg to Kronos to reconsider it since she love Beelzebub, thus Kronos made scene of him cheating on her with Lilith. The reader seen this and heartbroke that she end up marrying Hades, no one know the relationship between her and Beelzebub aside from Kronos who died later. When Lilith die, she wanted to comfort Beelzebub but think it would be inappropiate and she also didn't want to hurt Hades.

Hades actually know realtionship between them but held himself from saying anything for he love her so much. At Ragnarok, she was the only one who is neutral when the gods announce feath of humanity because she is goddess of humanity, she do help Valkyrie but when Poseidon died. She grow chaotic, Beelzebub see this and went to meet her in secret. He comfort her, Hades seens this and smile bitterly as he enter the inframary saying to reader that he is going to praticipate. The reader beg him to not going but he still go and went he died, she cried so hard that all her family need to comfort her, their heart break for the one who loved by all. That was breaking point of her live to humanity because when the reader see Beelzebub going to participate, she told him to kill them without mercy. And Beelzebub would do anything for her.

Zeus heard this and ask their relationship to Beelzebub who answer he love her and want her hand in marriage if he win. Poor boy need to work hard because she is very hesistant in letting him in again.

But after zues rescued his siblings, they found you. And they just decided to title you as Poseidon's twin bc you were both close? Hades + Beelzebub × Poseidon's non biological/biological twin!Reader

Years ago, you and your siblings were swallowed up by Kronos, who later on threw all of them up and out of his stomach. Being saved by the one and only zues.

But, sadly, it was only you who wasn't thrown up by Kronos, leaving you in his stomach for a while before he threw you up again. Leaving your siblings to watch in horror as you were now in the hands of their terrible father.

War emerged as they all fought with their lives. As well as Poseidon who saved you from the hands of Kronos. Kronos had found you to be his pretty princess of a daughter, and wanted what was best for you. That being, marriage. Which led to him arranging a marriage for you and hades, without any of your consent.

On the final year before you got married to hades, you met a sweet guy who genuinely looked so deep in despair..lost in his own void of darkness. You later learned that he was cursed, and alone, which made you determined to show him care. Taking pity on the poor thing.

He was surprised when he found out you were a Greek god, and was immune to his curse, which crashed onto him like a trainwreck of mixed emotions. He finally found someone who wouldn't die from his curse, and one that was willing to care for him.

Due to that, he started growing feelings from how much you coddled him and cared for him. He was used to being called names, and being an outcast to those around him. But he knew about your soon marriage with hades, which made him guilty for loving you like this. But he couldn't help it, how is he selfish for only wanting something that he never had?

You begged your father to reconsider his arrangement for your marriage to the god of the underworld. Which gave Kronos an idea. A terrible one at that. You were his daughter, he was the one to make the rules. And he was also so confident that he'd win the war against your siblings. So, he did what any loving father would do.

Make Beelzebub cheat of course! Wow he was so smart for that idea. He deserves an Oscar! (I'm being sarcastic. That's actually a terrible idea.)

"listen princess, you will be all good and pretty for your husband. Just do as papa says okay? You don't actually love that ..."Beelzebub" or whatever his name is. Trust papa."

He carefully planned his idea, and then executed it. Making you walk in on Lilith and Beelzebub's kiss. You watched in horror, running away and crying from the heartbreak you just witnessed. Little did you know that Beelzebub was set up just for this exact moment.

All of that resulted in the marriage continuing, just as Kronos had planned. Making you marry hades, who agreed. Hades knew about your relationship with Beelzebub, and your love for him. But he never once brought it up, for he love you too much. He was willing to be with you even after all that.

When Lilith died, you wanted to comfort Beelzebub and offer him your condolences. But you didn't think it was appropriate, and cause you didn't want to hurt hades by rubbing salt in his wound.

When the Ragnarok was set and ready, you were the only one neutral to the idea. But, that was until your beloved brother died in the hands of a swordsman, all because he underestimated the skilled human. Leading to his demise. That's when you shattered, becoming angry, just like the rest of the gods who had witnessed it. Beelzebub saw the fight, and remembered how dearly you loved your brother, and he made his way over to you, crying in rage at your loss. Hades had seen your exchange with Beelzebub, knowing you were heartbroken. Before he approached you, saying that he wanted to avenge his brother, making you cry harder, begging him not to.

"forgive me, (y/n). I just cannot stand here and do nothing when our dear brother got disrespected by a mortal. It is my duty to avenge him. To honor his name."

He didn't listen, ending with him dead. You sobbed your eyes out, unable to eat and sleep. Your heart hurt too much from the death of your loved ones, the ones that you cared so much about. It was ironic to think the goddess of curses, was also cursed.

But Beelzebub was determined to make you happy again, and to make you happy was by defeating the humans.

"beat their asses, beel. Don't show them mercy. Humanity is disgusting."

He stared at you lovingly, before mumbling. "...as you wish."

When he won the fight, he walked out to find you standing there. Staring at him softly and weakly. "(Y/n)? Are you okay?"

"thank goodness...I'm so glad you came back alive.."

Those words were enough to make all his denied feelings crash back onto him. All that love from you that he missed out on, after his infidelity with Lilith before she died. Zues saw this, seeing the relationship between you and Beelzebub made him the next shipper aside from Aphrodite.

"do you love her, Beelzebub?"

"...yes. more than anything. I'd do anything for her, I love her so much and I want to show her just how much I can love her."

With that, zues pushed you to give it a chance. To care for Beelzebub and love him, make up for all that you missed out on. You were going to deny until you saw the look of love in the man's eyes, the poor thing really did want you back and was willing to make you happy again. Making you sigh and reluctantly agree.

- he was overjoyed when you finally decided to give it another chance. So now you always find him bringing you bouquets of flowers with a shy little look on his face.

- zues being massive shipper, ignoring the fact that two of his brother's just died(🙄). As long as his sister was happy, it would bring joy to the rest.

- expect multiple dates, he might be shy but he IS willing. He would stutter and sweat so much out of embarrassment, but he has that cute guy rizz.

- he's always so nervous when it comes to dates, but all of that would disappear once you show up in a beautiful outfit. Maybe it really was worth the embarrassment after all.

- imagine this cutie's face when you kissed him. He was a mess, and eventually a tomato after you gave him another one.

- you and him will continue to work through the relationship despite all the hardships. And he's there to comfort you through everything, literally everything. Mans will destroy whatever tried getting in the way.

- cuddles 24/7

- you also got him to wear comfier clothes, and not those vampire looking ones. he wasn't an outcast to you, and you were willing to kill those who'd judge him for something that wasn't even his fault.

- he actually simps so bad, but his face also remains nonchalant cus he's a nonchalant chilli pepper. His face turns into a chili pepper too whenever you show him affection.

- he wants to do everything to make you forget about his infidelity, and instead, focus on your future together. This time, without anything bad happening to you both.

im taking this fuckign class on ~exploring spirituality~ bc......... i needed a credit and it fit into my schedule, lmao.

and the class is taught by a sicilian roman catholic deacon (? ?? nickycore?) and like. literally its a two hour class where we just talk about religion and our relationship with religion (cries in queer ex-religious person) but yesterday we talked about ~witnessing~ (*cough* prothletising) and the prof actually made a pretty decent point abt it (for a catholic guy) about how offering judgement or trying to '''promote''' christianity is almost never helpful/useful to struggling people and how the best thing you can do both as a christian and as A Fellow Human Being is offer help and support. and thus if/when the topic comes up with that person of 'how/why are you doing this' then give that person the God 411™ if they continue to be open to it. but offering it without being given that opportunity by that person helps no one.

and also how, as a member of the clergy, he's found it counterproductive to talk to his parish about sin, especially 'harmless' sins (the example he gave was sex before marriage), bc doing so just breeds shame, which is again not really helpful to anyone and mostly just alienating for the person at hand.

but that made me think a lot abt nicky and his morality. and how thats portrayed in ttt (Avenging Hand Of God) vs. in the movie (We've Been Offered The Opportunity To Do Good So Lets Do Some Good). and how the former always struck me as. . . .. very very arrogant, to assume the will of God

i mean 'a mistake can be forgiven'. i get it, the guy was an awful human being, but who are yoo ooo ooOUUuu to say what god can and can't forgive? you got the bitch on speed dial or something? (its also worth pointing out that theres no sign in the comic that this guy is religious. what does he care if he broke an oath before god? it makes nicky seem so out of touch for even bringing it up)

and i dont know. i mean... imo at least its clear that nicky is religious In Some Way in both movie and comic verse, but in the movie his ideas are communicated in such a way that they arent inherently 'christian' (note that in the movie nicky never actually invokes the name of god. i dont think he does so in the main comic either. which is a great detail imo! bc andy doesnt believe in god and he doesnt know if nile does! so when he offers up all these comforting ideas about Destiny and Purpose, he does so in a way that non-christians can find comfort in them, even if theyre 'christian concepts' when he thinks of them himself)

but compare that to ttt (and ill give the solo nicky story some slack bc hes talking to other christians there (other christians who use the bible as 'evidence' that theyre doing the right thing) but....... still.)

'but those people really were evil!' i mean yeah. but the point here is nicky using his faith as a weapon of condemnation rather than as a motivator to do good and Spread God's Love (Trademark™). these people are evil not because God(Nicky) Passed Judgement On Them but because they are harming and enslaving people. nicky is killing them not because He Is The Instrument Of Sinners' Damnation but because these people are doing harm, and by killing them nicky is doing good for the people they are oppressing.

nicky reasoning what hes doing here is The Will Of God rather than strategical acts of violence which will have a net positive affect on the world is SUCH a Christian Person Red Flag™ to me. yes these people were all evil but when you reason that you, personally, understand the will of god, and that you, personally, can judge or condemn people based on that will, that opens SUCH an unnerving door in regards to how you see the world (& the people in it) and how you view your own judgement.

Trying to semi-organize my thoughts on what exactly I am wanting out of spn fic and hm let's see. If I remember this post in the future, I may update it as I think of/on things and use this for reference so I, also, don't forget lol

Okay so, wants/likes:

Cas prominent. He is my, as I believe the kpop kids say, bias, so he is kind of non-negotiable. Sorry I am just not interested in fics where he is not prominent

Destiel not required but a good plus. Slight preference for intricate courtship rituals over ones where they figure things out ridiculously easy, unless it is established relationship. If the revelation comes too quick and easy then I get taken out of the moment :')

Optional: Angels treating Cas like their baby brother :3 Cas can be somewhat put out by it or not. Actually maybe bonus if he IS, bc they are all angels of the lord and relative by rank and experience, And Yet [whoever] just cannot help but be *points* Baby

canonverse is plus. canon divergence is okay but idk how close to canon I'm looking for, if it's too close to an episode rewrite I may not be into that either

bottom line my emphasis tends to be more on character and plot. I can't do plot without character, the relationships - whether ship or gen - are important to my enjoyment of a fic. I can sit thru a lot if the characters/character dynamics are good and chewy lmao like u can rly sink ur teeth into it

eldritch horror angels are a bonus. Give me unfathomable trueform angels, I feel like I don't see that enough

I feel like we get less of that as the seasons go on... I miss Cas being powerful and exuding energy that I'm sure is what had ppl assigning him as top energy. Like yes flex ur sexy sexy angel powers pls. There's one ep where my notes just say "ANGEL SMITE ANGEL SMITE / HEAAALING." Season 6 Cas where he is more out of touch with humanity and more brusque was also intriguing even tho he was like that bc of extenuating circumstances. If the wings are treated too literally I find I start getting bored, ironically. This is ironic bc I'm a slut for wingfic. born on in the village of ealdor to a simple farm maiden , merlin seemed quite unimportant to most anyone . his mother , however , knew differently when , behind closed doors , her son was magically moving objects since before he could walk . knowing that her son’s abilities would mean a death sentence over his head ever since king uther declared magic illegal in the great purge , merlin’s mother was sure to keep his abilities hidden from anyone . however , she knew his skill & life was always meant for more than ealdor . when he was eighteen she helped him pack his things & sent him away to camelot to live with an old friend : gaius , the court physician .

though unable to tell arthur about his magic , seeing as arthur’s view of it had been tainted by his father uther , merlin still committed to his destiny & secretly protected arthur from the shadows from any threat . though decisions were often tough , merlin did the best he could & eventually arthur did take the throne as king . it seemed , almost , like everything was going as it was supposed to . all up until a fateful night at the battle of camlann . though merlin was able to drive back the opposing forces & even defeat morgana , arthur’s traitorous half sister , arthur still became mortally wounded in the battle . merlin confessed to his magic to arthur & gained the king’s forgiveness but still was unable to save his life . arthur died in merlin’s arms . & as merlin was being told that arthur would return again one day when albion’s need was greatest , it came to his realization that this failure was exactly what his destiny was leading up to . he simply was never told the end .

over a thousand years have passed after arthur’s death . the king has yet to return . but merlin , bound by destiny , still waits for him .

merlin is an only child . his father was never in the picture , left before his mother even knew she was pregnant , but with how doting his mother has always been this fact hasn’t bothered him very much . after all , his mother was never entirely alone . she had a close family friend who helped raise him & there was also his aunt & his younger cousin , simon . he never felt himself to be a lonely child by any means .

he grew up in a small town in wales & was fairly well liked . people , if anything , were amused by how mischievous he could be . he was a trouble maker without even trying much . he got into odd fights against a handful of bullies but he knew how to dodge the right way to wear them out most of the time . he seemed quite very unassuming , with high cheekbones & ears too big for his head , but merlin had always been quite surprisingly crafty .

he went to school in america for medicine , something that his mother’s family friend had always brought him interested in , & came out with good or , at least , average grades without much effort . had his PhD by twenty six & has now lived in alucard for two years working as a general physician .

─ 𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐈𝐍𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 .

important note on how i play merlin : he is not just “ the greatest sorcerer to ever walk the earth ” he is also literally magic personified . “ magic itself ” , as he’s called in canon . magic put into a human form . his magic is extremely powerful with very few limitations .

anyway . he’s goofy a lot , enough that he’s rarely taken seriously , but it’s a good facade for him because he’s also almost always lying when he can be . it comes like a second nature to him . most don’t think much of him because he’s pretty unassuming but some are astoundingly interested by him . no in between .

remembers waiting for arthur for fifteen hundred years . is a little bitter & pessimistic because of this .

went to watch the hexer because i was like hmm i just want to see how it is and ITS SO MUCH BETTER THAN NETFLIX* (see note). WOW. this just goes to show that you don’t need a high budget and good cgi to make a better show. you need good writing and to follow through on the themes of the original that you’re adapting from 😳

i watched episodes 7 & 13 (adaptations of eternal flame + edge of the world and something more) and while much got cut from eternal flame it was pretty true to message... that people fear dopplers because they think that they are unique individuals, are scared that dopplers know their thoughts... also i love the scene with vespula 😭. also basically edge of the world was perfect except that the timeline was messed up so that it isn’t geralt & jaskier’s first adventure, and also if this was made today with a large budget cgi could have helped (but that’s not smth they had control over so im not complaining abt it, i think they did really super well for what they had (like with lille and her scene at the end). jaskier being in something more got cut but tbh his role in that is so unimportant and it’s really just a scene for geralt to learn that cintra was razed and to say his thoughts. yurga also wasn’t travelling in ygsith, but like, they have a limited budget and amount of sets, and it didn’t hurt the overall message. the scene where geralt and ciri reunite literally did kill me though and i cried. the actress playing ciri is really cute and small and zebrowski just picks her up and holds her like omg 😭😭

also roach dances so much, and it’s funny because it’s accurate to the story, but i think the horse that zebrowski was on was just flighty...

there are some kinda weird things the hexer did, like they kinda pulled some geralt/toruviel and jaskier/dudu lines and actions (which is just kinda confusing imo) but it wasn’t like, overbearing? idk what was going on so i just ignored that in view of the positive light. also there are some just non-canon things they added in (like geralt meets toruviel and another elf again) but it’s all really in-character (geralt doesn’t crave violence and just wants peace with them, jaskier also goes off and buys a stylin’ outfit), so i didn’t mind.

also geralt in the hexer dislikes kaer morhen because they changed it so that he was taken as a boy and not given up by visenna willingly, so geralt thus hates KM and loves visenna (instead of the opposite in the books where geralt is happy to be with his wolf brothers and is bitter towards his mother for abandoning him). so at the end when he takes ciri it’s a bit unclear as to where he’s taking her, but it makes for more of a better ending for the hexer specifically, since they didn’t make any more episodes and thus can’t go forth into the Saga Proper — at the end of the hexer, i got the implication that they’re just going to live and geralt will raise ciri as a normal child and not a witcher. geralt also mentioned his friends being dwarves, elves, and “jaskier who writes songs and sings wonderfully,” so i also am guessing that they would just travel as ciri grows up and spend time with geralt’s friends ... which is a very happy concept to consider. is kind of awkward though of course because they never got to the saga, that yennefer doesn’t have a place as her mom yet.

also i havent seen the whole thing (ive seen eps. 1, 2, and 11 besides the two i just watched) idk if they adapted sword of destiny in a good way. i know they adapted a question of price but i havent seen that ep yet. so im still thinking but just the way that they adapted most of these scenes by just taking the books and making them scripts really helped like... everything. i just enjoyed it way more because it felt like they respected what was written by taking it word for word mostly. they just changed some things to make it more appropriate for the television format (like the thing abt geralt not liking KM, etc) but they did it in a way i enjoyed (like the backstory for geralt is pretty well done, it has tension and stuff. it does change who geralt is as a character an imperceptable bit though). i know some people may hate that they just basically took the books exactly for what they are and then formatted it to fit their time frame of 13 episodes, but to me that’s the kind of adaptation i wish for.

TLDR: why does everyone hate on the hexer this shit slaps. fuck netflix lmao* (see note).

* except joey i like him he has my complete favor. even if he is a little too much of a scene-stealer and makes everyone else on screen look bad bc he does so well lol.

It’s hard for Natalia but I like her since she started in our country. I’m going with hope to see this movie. MORE TDF SPOILERS: I’m not sure we have to worry about Dani. Since, like you said, she knew adult Grace BEFORE young Grace, if she even has a small inkling towards liking women, I’m pretty sure her first thought (before knowing the backstory) wasn’t “OH LOOK A BABY I WANNA BE HER MOM”. Dani is all of us: her first thought was “HOLY SHIT SHE’S HOT”. The only mother-daughter dynamic I see is Sarah-Dani. Also I think Dani kind of “adopted” Grace in the future cause she was thankful of her sacrifice

(same anon). On another note, do you think Mackenzie is coming back if they do make related sequels? If so, how do you think they’re going to do it? I’m pretty sure one way to keep Grace alive would be to give her two cores instead of one, so that when she sacrifices herself she can “turn herself on” again. Even though the end hints at them wanting to stop it, I just wish they’d let JD happen, mostly because if they do stop Legion, then it’s just T2 all over again, with Dani instead of John.

Oh, for sure, when Dani first sees future-Grace in the present, all she’s seeing is a hot lady (incidentally some years older than her here) devoted to protecting her. But aside from this, in the future, she’d know Grace for some years when she’s an…older teen? It’s really easy to write around as a fic writer, but it is something to be aware of.

I honestly don’t know if we will get more sequels, the box office isn’t doing so hot. I basically want whatever Linda Hamilton wants, she is truly the person who I feel has the best idea of what’s good for this role, because it really is the story of Sarah Connor more than anything else. I don’t know if Mackenzie is willing to come back for it, it seems a punishing role and something more experimental for her than her than part of any particular ambition, but I’d definitely hope she does. If this becomes a new series, Grace is an integral part of it.

I get what you mean about the story repeating but I can’t imagine them not trying to stop something that catastrophic just because it’s inconvenient for the story, heh. The difference here might be that they don’t succeed? I mean, this was basically T1, so I don’t think they’re too afraid of repeating elements. It’s just going to be different because now it’s like they have two Sarahs and even Grace is going to be more helpful than the T-800 and well, it’s an entirely different time, in terms of tech. I’d also love to see it because it’s the US Border Patrol that took her pics and X-Rays, so there’s a possibility Judgment Day now basically stems from the US immigration policy and the fight will have to be against the US government. I kind of wish this movie took more of a stance, even though what it did was more than usual (which speaks to how terrible the “usual” is).

If the epilogue is just a little bit after the events of the movie, then isn’t Dani like 7-10 years older than Grace? I can’t really tell how old either of them are, but Dani’s supposed to be like 18-20, right? And Grace looks like…I dunno, 10-12? I can’t judge ages at all. D: I don’t even know how old older Grace is supposed to be. It’s also worth pointing out that if the apocalypse IS stopped, resistance leader Dani will never have to “adopt” teen Grace.

How’d you square with Terminator: Dark Fate’s intentional downplaying of Dani and Grace’s relationship? Shipping aside bc that would have taken an actual miracle to happen, the final version of the film was edited and scene-swapped to airbrush their interactions, but for what reason if they weren’t going to go all the way with it anyway? I heard the future-Dani young-Grace scenes were shot afterwards, so no wonder it felt a little hamfisted (their whole “you raised me” deal, not Dani’s destiny)

I hadn’t heard anything about that future-Dani young-Grace scene but then it must have been replacing a different storyline, because they needed some kind of reveal for their future dynamic?

I didn’t like the downplaying at all! I can only imagine they thought even the non-canon subtext they had was too much already? Which is stupid and honestly, I think it was worse for the movie. They’re the core relationship of the movie, like Sarah-Reese, and those moments were supposed to be about Dani and Grace relating on a human level in the present, away from the future and their eventual roles in it, and they just...decided to remove them? I mean, what we had was still good because they’re both such fundamentally likable people and we did believe in their bond while, you know, fighting for their lives, but those moments (especially the shoulder touch??) could have added so much!

short answer: so u take the original plot of the littlest mermaid and u plunk it down rIGHT in the middle of 1920s haiti, right

long answer (like, REALLY long answer. like REALLY long. im sorry i dont know how to summarize when there are so many good things):

“there is an island where rivers run deep…”

“where the sea, sparkling in the sun, earns it the name, ‘jewel of the antilles.’”

“an island where the poorest of peasants labor —”

“— and the wealthiest of the grand hommes lay.”

“two different worlds on one island!”

“the grand hommes, owners of the land and masters of their own fates.”

“and the peasants, eternally at the mercy of the wind and sea, would pray constantly to the gods.”

those are the four storytellers, beginning the play. lydia started the first line, then abby, then dori, then natalie, and repeat.

(oh yeah, also this is the jr version. also, i dont know everything bc i was backstage the majority of the time)

so the gods that the beach people / peasants are dancing to, theres 4 of them. asaka (played by lavanya in our production) is the goddess of the earth, erzulie (played by luke who’s closeted, so i change it to a god, erzulio) beautiful goddess of love. agwe (played by ian) is the god of the sea, and papa ge (eli, of course, and it’s literally pronounced papa gay), my personal favorite, is the sly demon of death

and this is all described in the first number “we dance”

(its so good. dont ever listen to any version besides the chatham one i can guarantee you that any non-eli papa ge, any non-luke erzulie / erzulio, any non-lavanya asaka, any non-ian agwe, any non-lydia / dori / abby / natalie storyteller will not be as good)

so basically theres this storm, and in this storm is a little girl and the gods are like “no papa ge we’re not killing her you fuck” and they irresponsibly plunk her down in a tree

and so tonton julien (ben) and mama euralie (izzy) come along & are like “holy shit a kid” (and this girl is crying her eyes out of course bc as mr adam creatively put it to the girl who played young ti moune, “you were just dropped in a tree by some randos you’ve never seen before in your entire life”) but like theyre poor and dont have a lotta food and shit so they try to leave but the gods, showing some small modicum of responsibility, like, use the force to pull them back. so these peasants adopt ti moune and name her ti moune and theres a whole big number about her growing up called “one small girl” which i quite like actually

then ti moune is grown up (sammie) and she sings about like “whats my destiny yo” all naive in “waiting for life” and sees a car which is a big ol lead-in to the next number. which brings us to

so in the beginning of “rain” theres this HILARIOUS section of dialogue with the gods picking mangos and here it is bc i cant not include it man

anyway, after that theyre all proposing things to do to get ti moune less naive, with such wonderful suggestions from these dumbasses as “splash her with a wave” and “scare her half to death”. and then erzulie is like “yeah u do that imma give her what she wants bye” and the other gods are like “????????????” and shes just like “You Heard Me” and just goes like “Love Can Conquer Anything!!!!!!! :)))))))) ❤️💞💕💚💛💙💜💝💘💗💖❣️” and papa ge is like “that’s bullshit this whole thing is bullshit that’s a scam fuck the love here’s like two reasons why” and they argue (and asaka remarks that this is “more amusing than mangos”) and the gods are all “HMMMM🤔🤔” and then they all go “A BET!”

and the gods all start like pitching in to set up this bet, so like erzulie gives her strength and asaka’s gonna guide her but then papa ge interrupts like “IM GONNA MAKE HER CHOOSE” and then johnny boy i mean ian i mean agwe then calls dibs on choosing the circumstances of the bet

and u remember that car right? well ian agwe is like “that. thats the place where the 2 worlds meet” and he creates a big ol storm and in the song he says (one of my favorite lines, actually) “rain makes the road such a dangerous place” (he did amazing in that song but i feel kinda bad bc like. he was overshadowed by the other gods who are all incredible singers, and parts of it were too low for him. like, eli can sing as high as he did, but ian really cant sing that low)

also they used the fish flags from the seussical two years ago when sammie’s sister sidne played the cat in the hat. i always found it hilarious that dori of all people they couldve chosen played a fish

ANYWAY. so the car is goin down the road and crash oh no a car accident. totally not what agwe was (shot)gunning for

and so ti moune pulls this guy outta the car right, and — by the way, now we’re in this super intense number called “pray” — and this song is real fuckin good alright.

my opinion upon this is based almost solely on the fact that within the first like ten lines of this epically long song a peasant, talking about the guy that got pulled outta the car (daniel, that’s his name), says, literally: “papa ge wants him!” i will remind you that papa ge is pronounced “papa gay” and what makes it even more astronomically fuckin funny is that both hank, the guy that played daniel, and eli, who as u may know played papa ge, are mlm.

anyway no one wants to help daniel even tho he’s Actively Dying bc Fuck The Grand Hommes, Am I Right Guys We Cant Do Anything Were Peasants And There Is Sanctity That We Must Never Talk To Look At Or Think About A Single Grand Homme, Ever™ but ti mounes gonna help him bc Fuck You Guys and she keeps him alive while tonton julien goes to find the guys family after she’s Finally persuaded the guy to do this

and ti moune doesnt sleep for Three Fucken Days by the way. thats important in the next number

also daniel is supposed to be good looking so of course ti moune Falls In Love With Him despite never having seen him before in her entire life, and also hes unconcious the Whole time. i dont understand the heterosexuals

anyway, tonton juliens at the gate to daniels family hotel and he’s like “pls let me in i need to speak to monsieur beausome!” and the gatekeepers like “get the fuck away my guy” and hes like “no but its urgent!!” and the gatekeeper SLAPS BEN [LAST NAME REDACTED]*

so ben i mean tonton recovers and like seriously gets down on his knees and begs and the gatekeeper is still like “FUCK! NO!” and then ben fucking [last name redacted]* SCREAMS SAVAGELY “I HAVE FOUND HIS SON!” HOO BOY

and then at the end of pray you hear a long high note and then one specific girl takes it HIGHER ????????? idk who it is for sure but im willing to put my money on lavanya bc jesus christ can that girl sing

*people always say bens full name when referring to him for some reason, so it’s not ben bc which ben? it’s not ben b. it’s ben [last name redacted].

so pray goes ge STRAIGHT into forever yours. not the reprise, thats later.

so. forever yours. in a STUNNING turn of events (sarcasm. absolutely the least stunning thing after the whole “papa gay wants him” in pray), the VERY fucking FIRST LINE IN THIS WHOLE FUCKING STUPID HEARTFELT SONG is literally ti moune saying “i am a tree, holding away the storm”. are you fucking serious. are you kidding me. you waste the first line on that monstrosity,

anyway basically what happens in this is ti moune is singing about tending to daniel here it is

and on that last word, “mine”, papa ge joins in and it is fuckin CHILLING, not LEAST bc eli has the voice of a fuckin angel (and sammie too, but i think eli’s is just slightly better)

so eli stalks in and the first thing papa ge does, in a True demonstration of the gay / ge agenda, is Drag The Het.

(then he goes on to say “this boy is mine”)

so eli’s also got a knife (a fake one) and this is another Important Thing so yeah

anyway sammie ti moune should “TAKE MINE FOR HIS.” (her life she meant) and papa ge is SHOOK. he just … stops. “wot”

so yeah. ti moune, in one of The most IMPRESSIVE displays of heterosexual tomfoolery and ridiculousness i have Yet Seen (scene), trades her life for this Complete Fuckin Stranger she pulled out of the car wreck whomst has not as of yet spoken a Single word to her bc HE’S BEEN UNCONSCIOUS THE WHOLE TIME!?

and heres another good line, the first gay daddy nico diangelo himself eli papa gay papa ge has had since “wot”: i am the road / leading to no return

(and this is also where eli goes REALLY high. like not for basically everyone else, but for him)

then daniels two dads apparently, grant and hugh, pick him up and take him back to the hotel and ti moune is like “NOOOOOOO” and makes mama and tonton let her leave to go find daniel, and frankly i am not very interested in this specific part of the song so fuck that i skipped it lmao lets get to lavanyas fuckin SOLO

alright. “mama will provide”. exactly what it says on the tin, taking it into account that asaka would be mother earth i guess

really all this one is is lavanya’s fuckin angelic voice and What Exists In Nature, and i cant very well put lavanya’s voice down on the page for yinz to hear can i? the only notable thing i can really think of besides this next piece a dialogue will share w u is in the beginning theres a bunch of ensemble doing weird repeating acapella and some hopping in like frogs. “COO COO coo coo cOO COO COOO” “SHAH shaSHA-ah” “buuuuu BUM! BUM! bum” its sounds slightly weirder than it is

anyway here’s the best dialogue:

now, “human heart”. jesus. i have literally cried over this song.

so erzulie goes out on stage to where hank is slowly suffering, probably, and sings this GODS DAMN BEAUTIFUL SONG about like, love n shit i guess. the storytellers and the other three gods act as a sort of choir. that’s pretty much all there is to say about human heart tho. moving on

ok so for “pray (reprise)” the gossipers (which are apparently supposed to be the storytellers, but fuck that thats lame, give my Cool Hoes lianna and taylor parts tbh) go out on stage and sing about how daniel is spending all his time w a peasant and shes a witch and yadda yadda yadda. and then theres some lame romance shit that i dont have fuckin time for

anyway, the song culminates with daniel’s father comin out on stage (lmao). which father, u ask? he had two of em? well that was grant and hugh, this one’s iain. conclusion: daniel has three polyamorous gay dads. this is the gayest production of a play ive ever seen. i mean papa ge? “papa ge wants him”? the fact that tonton means uncle so mama euralie and tonton julien arent married? “this boy is mine” coming from daddy gay himself? the fact that daniels last name means beautiful man? the “beautiful god of love” (as luke said, refusing to misgender himself in his introduction U GO LUKE)? the fact that out of the main cast (the 4 gods, the 4 storytellers, daniel, ti moune, andrea, mama euralie, and tonton julien) there are literally eight (8) actors who Arent straight (id bet that two others arent str8 and or / cis as well but im not sure)? just change daniel to danielle and itll be perfect

ayway daniel’s 3rd dad comes out on stage and tells him to stop this nonsense, young man ANYWAY NEXT SONG

in “some girls” the rich guys at the hotel all are doing a really lame colorless boring dance. then this girl andrea (ava) comes out and sings about the rumors about ti moune, that she’s stupid or wild, and daniel tells her to stop, then ti moune arrives and andrea really condescendingly asks her to dance for everyone and daniel encourages ti moune

so ti moune does a slow lame dance and then it gets loud and wild and fun! then when she’s done andrea goes to daniel and is like “she’s in love with you you oblivious fuck if you care at all you’ll tell her —” (unclear about what he’s caring about) and andrea is interrupted by ti moune who’s like “HI I HEARD MY NAME WHATCHA WANT ANDREA” and daniel goes and breaks her fuckin heart right

how he does this is he’s like “oops sorry i thought u would realize that we could never marry bc andrea and i are already engaged (since we were babies)”. daniel demonstrates an amazing amount of calmness about being forced to marry this girl he’s known all his life, and an incredible amount of insensitiveness bc TI MOUNE WAS NEVER FUCKIN TOLD THAT HE WAS ENGAGED. honestly i loathe literally every single character in this play except for the gods and the storytellers lmao

OK NOW FOR MY FAVORITE FUCKIN ONE WOW :~)

the reprise of forever mine.

so. ti moune is alone on stage and she goes like “gods please are u listening help me” and then. u hear. eli’s fucking amazing evil laugh and the gay himself appears

and he’s like u gotta keep ur promise ti moune im here to collect on that Soul

did i mention elis voice is beautiful? no i dont care, im sayin it again, eli [last name redacted] has the voice of an angel

anyway he’s like “u gave him ur soul, now u have to PAY” (the line he used here is “i am the price you’ll pay” and that sounds cool as shit)

and so “father homosexual,” as he was dubbed by luke, takes out his knife and sings “your life is forever mine” and holds the knife to ti mounes neck and ti moune yells “PLEASE DONT” and and and

he stops.

“trade your life for his.”

so papa ge gives her the knife and tells her to go stab daniel and he sings “i am the road that leads to no return” as he walks to the left side of the stage, and erzulie appears at the right side and sings human heart as papa ge continues with his verse from the first forever mine as ti moune struggles towards and away from daniel, straining, being pulled by opposite forces, love and death, and the two unite in singing “forever mine!” and ti moune casts the knife to the floor and screams “NO!”

and the music stops

and daniel sees the knife and picks it up

and says “why?!”

(fuckin bitch shoulda stabbed him when she had the chance)

and ti moune gets cast out and like, withers away at the gate neither eating nor sleeping, and then daniel comes to the gate with andrea at his wedding and sees ti moune and gives her a coin when she runs after him, and she collapses and the gods, sOMEHOW GAINING SOME MINISCULE VIEW OF THE CONSEQUENCES OF THEIR FUCKIN ACTIONS, all start CRYING. (erzulie won the bet) and erzulie hugs ti moune and papa ges probably off somewhere feeling sorry for himself bc you cant fuckin see him in the footage (nah, he’s off at the side of the stage with the other two gods neither of whomst you can see either), and mama euralie comes to sing this sad and pretty number “part of us” and then tonton and baby ti moune arrive as well for some fuckin reason,

and mama euralie says,

“and then the gods blessed her and turned her into —”

and then the gods hit their staffs on the floor (ian a bit gentlier bc his was falling apart bc he wouldnt stop fucking licking the fucking ribbons, ian) “a tree!”

and the tree comes up, forwards this time thankfully (phew) and and the tree fuckin cracks the walls of the hotel, get rekt scrubs, and the tree fuckin stalks daniel i guess, and daniels son sits by the tree and looks up and theres a peasant girl in its branches, and ti moune touches everyones hearts and also their livers, and everyone starts singing “why we tell the story”

also, fun story real quick, ive never actually seen eli dab i dont think (that’s something i need to accomplish real soon), and the dance he went off to the side and did with like, lydia, and agwe and ben [last name redacted] and daniels son and hugh — i guess all the boys in musical theater and also lydia, and the dance they have to do looks pretty damn like dabbing, and like, eli’s holding his staff so he cant do a true dab, really, but he can do a one armed one — but no. his dancing looks more like fuckin waving. ben [last name redacted] is dabbing, daniels son is dabbing, im like 80 percent sure ian’s dabbing directly behind eli, gloria’s dabbing in the back, but no, nOT ELI. im pretty sure he’s deliberately avoiding it smh

Whichever you’re feeling!If you end with death I really want to see all the (remaining) gang grieving together, whether you have them as being in a relationship or are writing Prompto/Noctis

Drunken Marriage Okay I’m picturing less the Vegas style drunken wedding but all of them around the camp fire after a long day, knocking back a few too many before thinking fuck this we’re in love let’s just get married right now.If writing Prompto/Noctis you can have Ignis or Gladio be an officiant for some obscure reason or pair this with poly group act as officiators for each other

Choosing an Engagement Ring You could pair this with having to be kind of subtle because Noct is technically promised/going to be promised, depending on when you set this, to someone else and have some nice angst while looking for the ring
