Where could Katsuki even begin with Izuku? It was like, wherever he ended, Izuku began, and where Izuku ended, Katsuki began. Fated childhood friends and rivals turned lovers. If the concept of soulmates was real, Izuku surely was his.

Though, he'd never be caught dead saying those thoughts out loud. Holy fuck, that was really damn gay.

"He's someone I need to protect--" He paused. "No, he's someone I want to protect." He smiled a little. "He's the reason why I'm a hero, and not just some bullshit celebrity in it for the money and fame; an actual hero who wants to save people because that's the only way to win."

"We push each other to be the best that we can be with no half-assing it. Not even death could keep me apart from him, so I guess you could say that I'm head-over-heels gay as fuck for that nerd."

"He's fuckin' amazing, Quirk or no Quirk. His smile could light up the entire damn room and makes me think I'll explode if I stare at it for too long. He's so fuckin' cute it makes me wanna bite him. I get lost in his eyes all the fuckin' time--" He paused, realizing that he was now rambling on much like Izuku would do while muttering about heroes. He flushed deeply at the thought. Fuck.

Shouto was conflicted.

Ever since Izuku had returned from his mission with Endeavor, Shouto wasn't sure how to approach his best friend. Along with the emotions of relief and happiness were also feelings of betrayal, anger, and sadness. It didn't help that there was the added complication of love tossed into the mix. While he had destroyed the letter of Izuku confessing his feelings to him, he never forgot what was written there.

He replayed the words in his head over and over ever since he read those words.

"I love you, Shocchan!"

Though, once he found the bravery to confront Izuku, he quickly found that the other had found every excuse in the world to avoid talking to him. It was training, needing to speak to Bakugou or All Might, or out right slipping away whenever Shouto dropped his guard. In addition to that, Shouto's family kept him plenty busy ever since they all moved into U.A.

After two days of the cat and mouse game, Shouto spotted Izuku leaving the kitchen. He called out to him immediately and when his friend had continued walking forward, the other teen had finally had enough.

Narrowing his eyes at the back of Izuku's head, Shouto gave a pointed step forward with his right leg. The temperature in the room dropped drastically before a line of ice shot forward and locked his best friend's feet to the carpet.

"Izuku--" he said again with added weight in his voice. "I know what you're doing." He began to close the distance between them. "Stop avoiding me." He was sure that saying his friend's first name would catch his attention.

Honestly the whole events made him want to kill those braying imbeciles over their sheer audacity. Allowing cowardice and hollow excuses to stay their hands at actual intervention yet never hesitating for a second to berate a child for doing what they could not. Reckless certainly, but not worthy of such slanderous treatment.

For as much as this world clung to naive delusions, it would have its uses in due course. And like any plan, it began with intel and agents. Both of which he was about to acquire.

“They are too craven to say it, but you should still be proud of your accomplishment youngling.” The ageless called out to the youth, having trailed him to somewhere more private. “You triumphed where they faltered, and only their hubris prevented them from properly acknowledging you.”

Katsuki laughed so loud that he was sure Kirishima heard him through the wall. Even without seeing Izuku, he was sure his boyfriend was pouting up a damn storm right now. It wasn't anything a bowl of katsudon couldn't fix.

Oh, Katsuki noticed Izuku pointedly avoiding his question. "You didn't answer my question either, nerd!" Katsuki typed back immediately. "Maybe make your password harder than something related to All Might and I wouldn't be able to guess it so easily!"

@oncforallxbroccoli sent an (Unprompted Ask) (Always Accepting): "Happy Birthday Eri-chan!" Izuku grinned, as he approached the young girl before crouching down to her level and holding out a small gift bag. Inside the bag were two small plushies; one of a rabbit and the other a unicorn. 

Her eyes light up when she sees Izuku, but they also light up at the small gift bag too. The bag he picked out for it was just so pretty to her. “I think I’m supposed to say thank you Deku?” Eri asked as she smiles at him. She looks at the bag again before looking at him. “Is that for me?”

"To be fair, I didn't actually think that Bakugou would actually hack into Midoriya's account." Though, he should've because the other blond took everything as a challenge.

Katsuki knew that Izuku had been dealing with a lot of bullshit lately. Between losing his Quirk and having the trauma of seeing his boyfriend dead on the ground, Izuku had been through it.

Of course, Katsuki wanted to do something extra special for Izuku. Something to cement his commitment to him.

So, using up a large chunk of his savings, he bought them both something to match. He spent the entire day spoiling his boyfriend rotten. He'd made him breakfast in bed, took him out on a proper date in the city, and once they were back in the dorms, he dragged Izuku over to the couch and sat down next to him. "Oi, I got yo--" He corrected himself. "--us, something."

"I was gonna wait until maybe the end of second or third year to get this type of thing, but after all the bullshit we survived, I don't see the point in waiting anymore." Using his good arm, he reached into his pocket and brought out a black jewelry box. He handed it over to Izuku while trying to fight down a flush. "...I wasn't bullshitting you when I said I wanted to be with you for the rest of our lives."

Inside of the box, Izuku would find a gold promise ring that had small ruby gems across the top. Inside was the inscription that read "win to save." Katsuki pulled a necklace out from under his shirt. Hanging on the end of the chain was a matching ring that was inlaid with emerald. His ring's inscription read "save to win."

"It's a promise ring," he said to his boyfriend. "Means that in two years, we're making this shit official." He grinned wryly. "Gonna marry you, nerd." He leaned forward, kissing the side of Izuku's head. "Happy birthday, Izuku."

Bri! Bri! Bri! I noticed you first from your interactions with @explodcor and I loved seeing your shenanigans on the dash. And then, iirc, we wrote a bit on my Hinata/Terra blog and I began to like your portrayal of your muses even more. But I absolutely love our interactions with Ochako, especially the confession thread with Izuku (for obvious reasons). I love the slow burn of it all, how they are awkward but also holding the other in high regard. I love how they slowly realize things about themselves (and possibly develop their relationship and themselves further). I love how we can theorize things about mha and just open discussions like that and you're just laid back (from what I've seen) but super friendly and you are a delight on my dash (so much that I sometimes want to remind you of particular threads but still don't because I am not and don't want to come off as pushy). You are just fun! On a different note, I've been even thinking of mayybe doing polyamory ship thing for your Deku and @explodcor or their Deku and your Bakugo if either of you are okay (because I feel group threads are fun).

Shouto blinked when Midoriya held out the gift bag towards him. “...Thank you, Midoriya,” he murmured before taking beginning to open it up. A soft smile crossed his face when he saw the soba bowl. “The bowl is really pretty...” 

He then raised an eyebrow when Bakugou was mentioned. Unable to help himself, he tilted his head. “He would? But I thought he said that we weren’t friends?”

He’s not shoving the notebook in his hands into his backpack quickly to ensure that Kacchan didn’t get it. Nope, that’s not what he’s doing at the moment. He /absolutely/ didn’t have a whole page dedicated to just Kacchan’s physical physique.
