Did Fat Joe show his Whole Hand?

Safe to say that Jose Cartagena has been an outspoken HipHop Revisionist. In recent Years, Joe along w/ John Leguizamo & Crazy Legs have been offering their narrative on who created HipHop Music & Culture. The Pioneers have stepped to the Mic & set The Record straight on WHAT happened, WHEN it happened, & WHO was there. Fat Joe, like KRS One is caught in a contradiction. Kris is actually 'Of The Culture', so he has a Lane available to say: mea culpa & come back into the Fold. Joe on the other hand, didn't respect his place as a Guest in the House of HipHop- as a result, he's getting his privileges revoked. I appreciate the degree that Joe chose to Stand on his Square, because it reminded many of Us of previous Bad Behavior.

In his Barbershop interview w/ Math Hoffa, Fat Joe had a few cringe moments. He disrespected Lord Jamar by saying that he was a 'Looney Tune looking to go viral', & called him the 'wackest member of Brand Nubian'. That said, his most cringe worthy statement had to be referring to FBA as a 'Radical Black Hate Group' that only wants to associate w/ their Own. He defined FBA as: 'Foundational Black Authority', & called Our Lineage 'a bunch of broke N-s'... Black Alpha, Lord Jamar, Phil Scott, & Jason Black were among the first to respond; All pointed out his White Supremacist Talking Points. If we're being honest, Joe sounded like a straight up Conquistador.

As We come to the End of Our 'Year Of Affirmation', We find Ourselves Standing firmly on Our Convictions & calling out ANYONE that questions them. Fat Joe, like many others who were allowed access into Our Culture are discovering an unexpected Reality- Houseguests don't get House keys. These Folks have been given so many passes over so many Years, that they actually believe that they KNOW Us. This is the same Story, from Michael Rappaport to Drake & Cardi B. Fat Joe's tantrum was ill timed; Our Collective Antennas were up, & Everyone heard the same language. Black Alpha in particular, pointed out how Joe wasn't even talking about HipHop anymore... This thing has many layers.

We all see that this attitude towards Indigenous Black Americans is nothing new. We know the History of the Immigrant Experience in America; the Ethnicity changes, but their actions are too similar to just be a coincidence. We saw it w/ the Irish, Italian, & Eastern European (Slav & Askenazi); now We see it w/ 'Black & Brown' Immigrants. The Black- Latino Dynamic is complicated, because Hispanic/ Latino Culture is rooted in Colorism (Blanqueamiento). Their Society is divided by how close one is to their 'Castilian Roots'. How does someone aspire to Whiteness in an Area where folks are 'Black & Proud'? When We look at Latin American Leaders like Fidel Castro & Hugo Chavez, who touted their Afrikan Roots & included Afro- Latinos in the Body Politic, We see how they were demonized as Bad Men.

ALL of their predecessors kept the Afro- Cuban & Afro- Venezuelan Population in a State of Poverty & Oppression. It's clear that the 'Blanco' contingent preferred the leadership of Fulgencio Batista (Zaldivar), Ramon Jose Velasquez, & Rafael Caldera Rodriguez. We need to look no further than Miami, where folks like Gloria Estefan are STILL lamenting the Cuban Revolution. Fat Joe glossed over 'Radical Puerto Rican Extremists' as he focused on FBA, but can We call it 'Extremist Behavior' when The Majority of The Population practices it at Home, & bring it w/ them when they Immigrate Here? Black People aren't respected in Hispanic/ Latino Culture, they're victimized. Latino Police Officers can be more Anti- Black than Irish & Italian Officers; certainly more aggressive towards Blackfolk. Again, Joe is silent on this Note.

As I said, this thing has layers. In the same way that Great Britain left the door open for America to step in & assume the role of Dominant World Power; AmeriKKKa is leaving the door open for Hispanics/ Latinos to hold the reins of Power over Black America- as long as they acknowledge their Position in White Supremacy. In the same manner that Whitefolk & Azkenazis assumed Ownership of Jazz, Big Band, Country, & Rock N Roll; Latinos think that they can assume Ownership of HipHop. They were successful in taking 'Tango' from the Afro- Argentinians that created 'The Forbidden Dance', but We're a Lineage of Fighters! If we're being honest, We have to acknowledge how the Latino influence on HipHop has done more harm than good. Stand Outs, like Mantronix & Immortal Technique are revered as Legends in The Game. Super Lover Cee & Casanova Rud also deserve an honorable mention. Now I could be wrong, but I haven't heard ANY of them side w/ Fat Joe.

Joe has been on many Platforms trying to push his narrative. He has emboldened other Puerto Ricans (Nuyoricans) to chime in on 'Out Of State' Cats speaking on something that started in NYC. Content Creators point out how HipHop may have been BORN in NYC, but was CONCEIVED in The South. Jason Black & Black Alpha point out the cultural differences between Us & Non ADOS/ FBA Communities, & how little they know about Our Lineage. First off, the Slave Experience in AmeriKKKa affected Us differently than it did those in Latin America & the Caribbean. While they exhibit Tribalism & Colorism, We exhibit Unity. From the East Coast to the West Coast, & from the Great Lakes to the Gulf- Blackfolk are an Extended Family. Those of Us in the Northeast & Out West tout Our Southern Roots like a Badge of Honor. We are the Descendants of those who survived AmeriKKKa's Killing Fields. Immigrants don't have that experience, & therefore can't truly understand what motivates Us Culturally.

Another clear cultural difference between Us & Non ADOS/ FBA Ethnicities, is how We deal w/ White Supremacy. We have a Global Reputation of fighting White Supremacy, no matter where it exists. As a Collective, Immigrant Groups tend to be Anglophiles; They aspire to Whiteness. They 'Get In where they Fit In', & that classically means harboring Anti- Black Sentiment. Fat Joe & Busta Rhymes aren't exceptions, but typical examples of how these people move. They Rock w/ Us- copying Our 'cultural mannerisms', until they get a 'Come Up'; then they shift to White Supremacist Talking Points & Anti-Black Sentiment. Busta thought he 'Made It', & began an onslaught of disrespectful opinions regarding Black America. He began w/ disenfranchising Blackfolk from HipHop, & went on to say that 'American Culture' comes from Latin America & The Caribbean. The Man had a much anticipated World Tour scheduled, but the backlash from ADOS/ FBA has led to Investors pulling out & the Tour being Canceled. This Tour was supposed to solidify Busta's Legacy, but he's been reduced to doing a wacky Walmart Commercial... Safe to say that he made a misstep.

As bad as Busta has been, Fat Joe has been worse. He admits that he's "the product of The Product", but somehow believes that he knows about Events that happened before he was born. His arrogance has revealed an Anti- Black Racist sentiment that is pretty common among his people. Content Creators have pointed out Joe's excessive use of The N- Word, & how he ignored pleas from his Fans to stop using it. As a Native New Yorker who spent his Formidable Years in Spanish Harlem, then lived in Bushwick for 4Yrs & Inwood for 5Yrs- I can say w/ certainty that NO ONE uses the N- Word more than Hispanics/ Latinos. Dominicans top The List, but Puerto Ricans & Cubans aren't far behind them. Caribbean Folk are also pretty frequent w/ their use of the N- Word; is it a coincidence that many of the Rappers spewing this word aren't from 'The Soil''? Regardless, what We are witnessing, is a clear effect of Delineation. As We Circle Our Wagons, the Opportunists (i.e. Tethers) are getting nervous. They depend on Us believing in 'Coalitions' that benefit them to Our detriment. Times have Changed! These folks no longer have Us to lean on for Financial, Social, or Political Support. Since these people believe they're Superior to Us, they should have No Problem w/ Going it Alone in the 'Wilderness of North America'.

Shall we begin?

At the end of Elan's 3 v 1 duel, we get a look at the Zoworts ID and the fact that he has 7 wins and no losses.

When Bel is speaking to the Peil witches, we get another look at Aerial's profile. What's new here are the terms on the bottom right, those being

I could not tell you what any of these mean, BUT I have recorded them for convenience.

The text on Nuno's tablet is very difficult to make out, but we can for sure read CONTROL SYSTEM on the header at the top, so we know that's what he's looking at here. I'll give my best guess as to what the 3 sub-headers say, from top to bottom.

I-MSEACTRL-SYS I-MSEECTRL-SYS 5011-ONCODE

If my transcription is right, the first two are probably meant to be read as something like I - MOBILE SUIT [EA/EE] CONTROL SYSTEM

I'm not as confident in the bottom one though, i think i have ONCODE correctly but I'm not sure if the first half is really 5011, which would be Aerial's Permet Code ID. But it's the only interpretation that makes sense to me because I can only read it otherwise as SETH-ONCODE. And I have my doubts about that one.

Some broader looks at Aliya's divination table

Of course, everyone and their mother would tell you this, but Aliyah points to the stone that landed on the Roman Numeral for 12, wondering if it represents 'a brother' of Suletta's. This is foreshadowing the Eri reveal, as Aerial + the Eri clones that pilot each one of its GUND Bits adds up to 12, meaning Suletta has 12 sisters.

Of course, the stone in the middle represents her mother, and Aliyah comments that it's very big.

I can't help but wonder if Miorine is represented somewhere here as well?

This scene is where we finally get to see the title of the book Elan is reading. As I stated before, this book is The World as Will and Representation (Translated in the show proper as The World as Will and Idea) by Arthur Schopenhauer. The importance of this book to understanding Elan's character cannot be overstated, and it's worthy of its own post, but simplified as far down as possible (and also acknowledging that I have yet to read the essay myself, it's long...I'll get to it though, I promise...)

The two most essential ideas of this work in their relation to Elan are that:

All human suffering and conflict is a result of the "Will" that exists within us: An ever striving force that pushes us to pursue our innermost desires.

In order to reduce the inherent pain and suffering that comes with life's cruelty, one can minimize their desires, and deny the force of their will.

In simpler terms, if you never desire anything from your life, even the idea of living itself, you will never be made to suffer from the lack of it.

From the shows beginning, we can see how Elan completely embodies this philosophy. He denies love, he denies his emotions, he never acts of his own accord, only following the orders he's been given by Bel and the Peil witches.

But that changes when he meets Suletta, because Suletta awakens within him one of his deepest desires. To find someone who is like him, someone who understands him.

But when he realizes that Suletta isn't an Enhanced Person, that he's still completely alone, he can't handle it.

Because he allowed himself to want for something, he invited suffering back into his life when it was something he was not allowed to have.

And now that he's opened his heart to desire, it's not something that can be closed. For the rest of our time with him, we see how this incident with Suletta has broken the spell. When he duels Guel, he tortures him. Shaddiq repeatedly acknowledges that there's been something different about him ever since he was with Suletta.

In the multiple scenes when Elan sees the candle of the birthday cake when he closes his eyes, the flame represents how his will has been relit. It's the flame of his desire. And despite his continued insistence that it doesn't exist, that he still doesn't want anything, doesn't need anything, the flame only keeps growing.

It sparks up when Suletta sings the birthday song to him.

And it all comes to a head during their duel. He immediately starts listing off the things Suletta has that he doesn't. Friends, family, a past and future, even hope. And laments that it's just not fair, demands to know why she can't let him have one thing.

When he fully accepts himself, and remembers the person who celebrated his birthday, he realizes that it was wrong to assume that he had nothing, and to continue to believe that he could never have anything.

But, tragically, in fully accepting his desire, he also had no choice but to accept the suffering that comes with it. And, well.

Yknow.

Anyway in this scene we can see the path that he wants Suletta to take in the testing sector.

We can see that Lauda's Dilanza is registered as such in Asticassia, and its ID code is MD-003 1L. Despite being registered as such, both Elan and Rouji refer to it as "Regolith" in this duel.

This is the Pharact's navigation system. At the bottom, the warning says: ALERT: MALFUNCTION JOINT SENSOR: ACTIVE MINOR DAMAGE FROM [???] STATIC ELECTRICITY.

We can see that the Pharact is showing that the static electricity is damaging its joints. This is where Elan gets the idea of how to defeat Guel.

This shows up on the display when Guel is hit by the Pharact's stun beams for the first time. Though my transcription might not be fully accurate, we can at least glean from this that mobile suit components seem to have their own internal codes used by their various systems. That's cool!

When Guel is immobilized by the static electricity, the warning on his screen reads ANAMOLY DETECTION

Bonus: When Guel first makes it through the stun lasers and approaches Elan, you can actually see the monitor start writing out "TARGET LOCKED" before cutting to the next scene.

They really must have had a whole team of people working on these UI elements and they REALLY gave it their all!

Anyway, that's all!! Sorry that this one kinda took a detour down the Elan train for a bit there! I always get carried away with these things...

Uhh as a reward.... hmm...

One time I saw Shaddiq referred to as "Malibu Sephiroth" and I've never been able to forget it. It's so real. God Damnit.

Collard Greens to go: Kamala Harris' Historic Defeat still reverberates

The Harris-Walz Ticket's historic loss to the Trump- Vance Ticket still has people talking. I wanted to get a feel for how People were reacting before commenting. Political Pundits & Democratic Shills have been experiencing near meltdowns on Camera, following Donald Trump's historical Comeback. MSNBC & CNN have posted significant declines in viewership; Losses of up to 54% for Programs like Joy Reid's 'The ReidOut', 'Alex Wagner Tonight', 'All In w/ Chris Hayes', & 'The Last Word' w/ Lawrence O'Donnell have Liberals literally scrambling for answers. The two Networks hint at impending layoffs, but it appears to be the New Normal in the weeks following Kamala Harris' embarrassing loss.

The Conversation started with What Happened?! Several Political Polls had Harris in contention, if not up Nationally. Even 'Presidential Predicter', Allan Lichtman was befuddled by Trump's decisive win. The Talking Heads were unraveling in Real Time. Democratic Shills took to the Airwaves with a laundry list of reasons for Kamala's Defeat. It was a Collective of Racists & Misogynists that had No Regard for a Woman's Right of Expression. It's no surprise that they wouldn't vote for a Woman Of Color to be President. The Groups that were singled out were:

Hispanic/ Latino Men

Arab Americans

Young Adults

White Women

Many glossed over the role that Black America played in Election Returns, but they can't ignore the low Voter turnout in Philadelphia, Atlanta, Milwaukee, Chicago, & Detroit. Democratic Shills like Sunny Hostin & Angela Rye are doubling down on DNC rhetoric; but others like Charlemagne (Da Clod), Joy Reid, & Roland Martin are trying to pivot to Black First Politics. We're hearing that the 'Black & Brown Coalition' is an illusion, & People Of Color didn't stand with Blackfolk in backing the Harris-Walz Ticket. Ironically, NONE of the Groups blamed showed any real interest in Kamala Harris. Turnout at her Rallies was lower than Trump's, & she has been accused by many of bussing Supporters to her Events.

The Democratic Party is in full Spin Mode. Alexandria Ocasio- Cortez was dumbfounded by Bronx Voters that voted for her AND Donald Trump. Jason Black, Jimmy Dore, & Sabrina Salvati were among the first to point out that AOC removed the 'pronouns' from her Social Media Pages. The Woke Agenda is being spotlighted, & Progressives are redefining what that means. We can expect Democrats to shift back to the Centrist Politics of the Bill Clinton Era, but Blackfolk are hip to that tactic. We have drawn a Line in the Sand, & Dems really don't know what to do about it. As I said before, Black America sits in the 'Catbird Seat'.

Democratic Shills say that Kamala did everything she could, but did she? What about showing her Supporters at Howard University how to be graceful in the face of Defeat? Harris couldn't be concerned with saying a few words to those College Students who waited hours for her to make an appearance. This act sparked conversation in the Grassroots about how Kamala doesn't have ANY regard for Black America; especially after getting 'molly whopped' by Trump. She blatantly ignored Black Specific Issues, & rolled out Celebrities to shame Us into supporting a Campaign that had NOTHING for Us.

As bad as Kamala's defeat was, her Campaign Expenditures have sparked even more conversation. Harris raised more than $1B (upwards of $1.5B according to Fox News) from donors, but her Campaign is roughly $20M in debt. That may explain why they are STILL asking for donations after the fact. How did the Harris- Walz Campaign spend over $1B in 100+ Days? Monty Brewster has nothing on Kamala Harris! According to Reports, Kamala's Campaign spent:

Nearly $50M on a Text Message Campaign

$10M for Beyonce's 5 minute Speech

$5M for Meghan The Stallion

$2M for The Urban League

$1.2M for Eminem

$1M for Oprah's Harpo Productions

$500,000 for Al Sharpton's National Action Network

$350,000 for Roland Martin's Black Star Network

$100,000 to construct a (temporary) replica Set for her appearance on the 'Call Her Daddy' Podcast

This is on top of spending Hundreds of Millions on Mainstream Media Ad Buys, along with reports that Social Media Influencers were being paid to post Pro- Harris Content & attend the DNC National Convention. Clearly, Harris' Presidential Campaign was a Money Grab. Rumors of embezzlement are growing. Conservatives are talking about taking Legal Action. Meanwhile, Harris Loyalists have been Radio Silent. Rumor has it that Barack & Michelle Obama left the Country; Barack is said to be disgusted with Election Results. I think that Barack backed a Candidate that he knew wasn't ready for Prime Time. He threw his Social Capital behind her, only to lose The Election & his Legacy at the same time. Barry's not alone; that Old Guard of The Clintons, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Maxine Waters, Jim Clyburn, et al are probably feeling the same as Obama. All of them lost Political Influence.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump is filling Cabinet Positions faster than he did in his 1st Term. Matt Gaetz may have been too controversial (for obvious reasons), but Trump is fulfilling a Promise to stack his Administration with like-minded individuals. Elon Musk, Tom Holman, RFK Jr, Tulsi Gabbard, Vivek Ramaswami, Linda McMahon, Pete Hegseth, Scott Turner, Sebastian Gorka, Brooke Rollins, & Scott Bessent are Trump Loyalists. These were the folks On Stage at MAGA Rallies. Trump Supporters are excited by these picks; as excited, as Democrats are terrified. Dems have good reason to be concerned. The GOP had a pretty good Election Cycle:

They won The White House

They hold a majority in the U.S. Senate

They hold a majority in the House of Representatives

They may have another opportunity to appoint two (or more) Supreme Court Justices

Trump's pick of Matt Gaetz for Attorney General could be his way of Testing the Waters. We ALL know how Donald Trump moves. He's coming strong Out the Gate, & appears to be testing the extent of his influence. At his core, Trump is a Builder. He knows the importance of a strong foundation. In this case, that means putting people he can trust in positions that will push the Trump Agenda. His alternate choice of Pam Bondi for Attorney General shouldn't come as a surprise. Bondi has been a passionate Trump Loyalist over the Years. She's the former Attorney General of Florida & carries less baggage than Gaetz, so she has a very good chance of getting Confirmed.

Kamala Harris has been keeping a low profile, but judging from footage of her at Public Events, Kamala is bitter about her defeat. She hasn't spoken with Tim Walz, & it appears that there's friction between her & The Bidens. Black Alpha Network says that Doug Emhoff may be bowing out of their Marriage. His indiscretions played a role in her defeat, but Doug appears unwilling to Ride the Storm. Safe to say that the Gravy Train has been derailed. Democratic Shills are scurrying like roaches to avoid being tagged as a 'Paid Political Operative'. It makes me question the Democratic Agenda.

I have said that America has been determined to get Black Hands dirty, since Our Great Grand Parents returned Home from WW 1. Jaime Harrison is the face of the DNC, so he gets the blame for the Democratic Party's lopsided loss. The Congressional Black Caucus pushed Kamala's Platform, knowing that there was NOTHING for their Constituents. They tried to strong arm Us into accepting an Agenda of Illegal Immigration & Rising Tide Policies that will further marginalize Us. Black Uplift means shifting the current Balance of Power, & NONE of Kamala's Policy offerings did that. This past Election put ALL of them On Notice.

Mainstream Media would love to blame the GOPs Election Day Trifecta on Black America, but doing so would be complicated. We're depicted as unsophisticated & childish, so they don't want to present a scenario where We acted with intellect & intent. They keep a keen eye on Black America, so they see the budding renaissance unfolding. They fear throwing gas on the fire, so they're fixating on Donald Trump's Cabinet Picks. According to NBC Exit Polls:

White Men voted 37% for Harris, 60% for Trump

White Women Voted 47% for Harris, 53% for Trump

Black Men voted 77% for Harris, 21% for Trump

Black Women voted 91% for Harris, 7% for Trump

Hispanic/ Latino Men voted 43% for Harris, 55% for Trump

Hispanic/ Latina Women voted 60% for Harris, 38% for Trump

All Others voted 48% for Harris, 46% for Trump

It's hard to blame Black Americans for a Democratic Loss, when We continue to vote Democrat at the highest percentage. That said, State Results show that Black Voter numbers were down. Nationally, they were down roughly 5%. I have said that it only takes 4% of the Population to start a Movement. Donald Trump lost Georgia in 2020 by '11,800 votes', but he won by over 115,000 votes this time. It's the Same Story in other 'Urban Centers'. We can't attribute Trump's Win to Arab or Muslim Americans, because their numbers are too small. Hispanics/ Latinos as a Collective, voted for the GOP at the highest percentage since George W. Bush in 2004. That said, Hispanic/ Latino Voters have an established track record of voting Democrat for a couple of Elections, only to shift over to the GOP.

This Election has raised a few questions. 1st & foremost, is the size of the Black American Population. Mainstream Media keeps Us at 12%- 13%. This goes back to Emancipation, but it's pretty clear that Our numbers are higher than that. Millions of Us 'Rode the Couch', & it shows up in the State Exit Polls. Black America IS a Political Power Base. Democratic Shills underestimated the Political Maturity of this Base & not only lost big, they awakened a Sleeping Giant. Young Family got to flex their muscles, & discovered their hidden strength. Moving forward, Dems will have to engage Us like EVERYONE ELSE, or risk future losses. Gavin Newsome is priming himself for a 2028 Run, but his betrayal of Black Californians on Reparations has doomed his ambition before it can begin. Josh Shapiro should take note.

As for Kamala Harris, her political career is likely over. Sonia Sotomayor refused to retire, so she won't be placed on the Supreme Court. A Democratic Shill suggested that Joe Biden should retire, so Kamala could be the 1st Woman President. At this point, I doubt that she could win in California. Harris may end up teaching Law at Howard University... While others wring their hands over Donald Trump, the Black Grassroots are taking a Victory Lap. The Democratic Party played Chicken w/ Us & learned a hard lesson. We aren't looking for recognition, or tokens of appreciation. We want Real Tangibles! We're just rolling up Our sleeves, so folks should get used to the New Normal. American Politics won't be the same.
