The shadows and anger about him seemed to melt away, a wide smirk growing in their absence. Well, he certainly could enjoy some lovely company this evening.

Taking the handkerchief from the younger lady, he quickly wiped off the remaining lipstick before slinking over to the palkia, whispering a small thank you to Venus and handing it back. He was here to impress, not anything else. “I do apologize for my outburst, I… ehm…simply dislike being publicly embarrassed is all.” He starts, giving a glance to the dialga he snapped at but a few moments prior. That was her brother? How amusing.

“Perhaps I was a bit too harsh, mm? My apologies.” Giving a deep bow, the man slid back up and gently took the hand of the lady in pink, placing a chaste kiss upon her knuckles. “Whom may I have the pleasure of interacting with this evening?” He asked, looking up with his dark red eyes.

Saw your latest art, and Geeta and Diantha are definitely rumoured to be dating despite just being friends. These two idiots will spend the day with each other then share a bed and be confused about the rumours

Also I know you have your Villain Diantha AU, and her whole reason is that she wants to get rid of those she herself deems “filth” or “to far gone” so that the world is a better place and she can rule/dictate the planet

But what about the other champions? If in separated AUs why would they become the villains of their worlds? What caused them to go down a separate path then their original counterparts?

No but fr tho imagine all the fucking rumours Dia has to hear from her manager abt her and Geeta tho hahaha these two are like the definition of kissing the homies goodnight and they can somewhat do it in the most platonic way like they'll sleep together whenever they're staying at another champion's or each other's place and the first time Geeta joined them the others also thought she and Dia were dating hahaha

Ngl tho, the villain Dia au was originally villain Lance bc I did write two chapters of it too, and he got Giratina from Cyrus hahaha so in a nutshell it's the same corrupted Galar League bc of Rose thing and Lance went all knight mode and killed Rose for Diantha. But another concept I thought that maybe he did snap sometime before that bc people kinda look down on him despite being the Indigo Champion now, as they know Red and Green are still around and those two just probs gave Lance that title bc they dont want it anymore, leading different lives now. And Lance didn't really take that well bc hey, he's a strong trainer y'know, ofc he's Champion, but still people kinda see him as a stand in for Red and Green and he fucking hates it, so during the tournament he went above and beyond to try and beat everyone, and if they're close to winning against him, well.. Dragonite's Hyper Beam will be the last thing they'll see

Idk how'd Steven would be villain tho bc of all the champions I see him as the kindest and the most open minded, so he'd probs have no problems other than the ones he buried for so long na. I do wanna say that maybe he does see Wallace struggling tho, and maybe he would want to change the world for him and Lisia bc hey, those two are his family now too, he loves them very much, and he doesn't like seeing Wallace struggle anymore, so maybe he would do a Diantha and change the world for the one he loves. Tho, unlike Dia, I imagine Steven as a villain to be the kind that's extremely inconspicuous, more so than Diantha. Like legitimately no one knows he's behind every shitty thing that's happening to those who don't like Wallace, bc unlike Dia who showed herself to Malva, Steven kept quiet and just watched from the sidelines

Same w Wallace ngl, but I also think that if smth were to happen to Lisia, he would snap and lash out on everyone. Think of Team Aqua, but tenfold, it didn't help he's the Guardian of Sootopolis too, this mf knows where Kyogre is and knows just what to do for the legendary Mon to bow to his will, and soon everyone will die in the same sorrowful waters that drowned him

God villain Cynthia is also reallyyyyy *wild hand gestures* cause like imagine her similar to Volo, acting all friendly then stabbing the trainer in the back. She knows abt Galactic and tried to "help" Dawn and Barry on stopping them, but she never really stopped them y'know, if you catch my drift. Like she's equally curious what Cyrus would do, what would happen if they open the portal to the Distortion World, and she did find out abt it. She watched Cyrus die in front of her, watched Dawn battle Giratina, and stared Giratina dead in the eyes, telling it that if he joins her, he'll finally escape the Distortion World and let the people see just how much more powerful he is compared to Arceus. And ough smth smth Giratina seeing Volo in Cynthia's place, sees the potential in Cynthia, and God imagine if Giratina did possess Cynthia tho, and Cynthia's playing along too bc now people really know she's unbeatable, now that she's a god.

Iris and Hau I can't imagine them as villains but I can imagine the others becoming villains for them. like,, back then I had this concept, y'know the song Hell's Coming With Me by Poor Man's Poison? I have this thought that people really looked down on them so much that the two became ashamed of showing themselves to the public, but Iris was pissed y'know, and made a vow that when she and Hau returns then all hell will break lose, she will make sure of it. The people thought she was just bluffing, but then suddenly all the champions went against the people of their region, against those who look down on Iris and Hau especially, and the two are just happy y'know that the other champions are "taking care" of em by taking out the people who shit talked them

Leon,, same w Wallace?? Like if smth happened to Hop? Cause he does care abt his bro y'know. But I also wanna add that maybe Rose did smth to Hop when Leon was acting out of line and that was the final straw for Leon and really up and killed Rose, bc Lee really couldn't bare the thought of smth happening to his brother, and if he's going to make sure nothing bad ever happens to the one he loves too (so basically like Diantha, do you see now why these two make me so fucking ill like cjmsndmd)

Ough Geeta my guy so in my hcs she's like,, she's struggling w feeling empathy, y'know, any sort of emotion really. And she's trying, and Diantha's helping her and such, but I also wanna say in the Villain Geeta au, as much as she loves Diantha, she also doesn't listen to her much. So most of the time she feels kinda empty, even though Diantha's helping her. I wanna say in this au, she did know what happened to Sada/Turo, and she was there when it happened, she knows what will happen, but she never warned them of the danger, bc maybe if smth happened to them she'd feel something too. And when they died, she didn't feel anything but the thrill of watching them dying over their own research. She didn't understand why, perhaps they weren't that close, but there's smth abt it y'know, watching others suffer that makes her feel some sort of thing, and it made her feel alive. Tho w this bc I'm trash for these two, if Dia did get hurt tho, that's when Geeta would really feel absolute anger, if those who hurt Dia won't die naturally, then she'll kill them herself. After all, it's one thing to feel that thrill watching someone die, imagine how much more she'd feel if she's the one to actually kill them

General Pokemon theory time, but may cause arguments:

Giratina isn't a bad guy.

What if (and hold comments 'til I'm done please)

What if Giratina doesn't like being a destruction god as much as people don't like being destroyed?

But Arceus, Dialga and Palkia just kept making stuff so much that when Giratina tried to make anything, she (Gir gives me goth girl vibes, don't @ me on this) has to destroy something else that was made to make the new thing. But people decide to focus on the destruction rather than the recreation and proclaim her to be a destruction God.

This makes her upset, but she decides to go with it, since her father and brothers (again, Dialga and Palkia feel like jock older brothers fighting over who's sport is better, while Arceus feels like a single Dad just trying to get his children to get along) are all creating so much that she starts to realize that there's too much stuff already.

Or what if Giratina was specifically made by Arceus when he discovered that he had made too much stuff, and Giratina is essentially a cosmic vacuum cleaner?

Which leads me to why I'm posting this, just because I keep noticing it in a lot of other people's PLA posts: what if Giratina didn't actually want to make the space-time rifts? What if they are just side-effects of her trying to not get dragged into whatever scenes Volo's trying to pull, and she'd really rather not be bothered by humans at all and just stay home?

I just keep noticing people saying that it's Giratina's fault that Ingo is in Hisuie or that Giratina wants to destroy the world but ...

What if she's honestly just upset for being basically dragged out of bed by one of her Dad's tiny creations and doesn't want anything to do with them most of the time?

Nex, transformed into his old Giratina form, slowly approached the other Giratina.

"It's uncommon to meet another of my kind who has also been corrupted by the Distortion World, although I'm guessing the nature of my corruption is very different from yours."

Nex's body glitched for a few seconds before stabilizing.

"If I may ask, how has the Distortion World corrupted you?"

Giratina’s eyes scanned the other, narrowing upon the question. “Bold to assume I would want to tell you.” He started, watching as the fellow pokemon’s form glitched before his eyes.

He raised but only one eyebrow. “That’s it? That’s the nature of your corruption?” As Nex’s body stabilized, he let out a low chuckle. “How cute.”

“Every waking day I am in constant pain and agony. I haven’t eaten a mean in eons, and yet you dare to hold a candle to my form? How callous!” He spat vitriol towards the pokemon. “PERHAPS WHEN YOUR WORLD DECIDES TO EAT YOU THEN YOU CAN COMPARE YOURSELF TO THE LIKES OF ME!!” He screamed, voice booming off of the strange walls that made his home. Palkia moved away quickly, summoning her spear. It didn’t take him long to realize how scared she was.

Another voice caught his attention, formal, one holding power. Respectful.

He listened quietly, face contorting at the question. Why the hells did everyone wish to know? It baffled him, confusing to the point of humor. A dry laugh left him, groing in volume.

“Very well then! I shall grant your wish!” Taking a bow, he moved towards the edge of a cliff. A bright glow gleamed from his chest, a misshapen golden orb materializing out from it into his palm. As the glow dimmed, he held in his palm the one thing that held him together. For a moment, all was silent. A quiet that made Giratina feel like it would be ok, that he would maintain his form once more.

And then he felt it, the familiar pain that sent him lurching forward. The orb fell from his grasp into the dirt with a loud thud. Giratina coughed and sputtered, teetering ever closer to the edge of the cliff until, with a wide grin, he fell.”

“GIRATINA?!” Palkia rushed forward, standing by Calama with confusion. Looking over the edge she awaited movement, looking to see even a glimpse of her brother. Eventually, she was answered.

A large hand rose up, slamming down on the floating island. Red claws dug into the dirt as another hand rose up to do the same. An ear piercing howl came from below the land, growing in volume as the owner pulled himself up out of the void. Skin melted off into strange black pools at their feet, bright red chains clattering around his wrists each time he moved. Soon rose his visage, a twisted version of the handsome young man that stood before them prior. Now sat gaping black holes in his face, a twisted hole of a smile replacing the sinister grin he had when he fell.

The long lucious hair that whipped about on its own was now stringy, greasy and unkept. If one were to look over the edge, they could see just how rotted away his body was, his spine clearly visible from his skin melting away. Golden ribs sprouted out instead of porcelain ones, the shimmering bones glittering in the dim distorted daylight. The air seemed to still, slowing as he took a breath. The sound was strange, a hiss of hair that left the strange jaw that had become his mothpiece.

Blinking, red glows emanated from the hollows of Giratina’s eyes, sharp teeth becoming visible as he talked.

Palkia looked upon her brother with horror. “Brother…what has this place done to you?” came her whispered question.

The tall mountain stood proud, a familiar sight to the pair walking from the rift made by their father. The key difference between the one they knew and this, was the clear and distinct temple that stood at the too, crafted immaculately for this world’s Arceus and the family he loved.

The man snickered. How quaint.

“I can send you home just as quickly as we came.” snapped the woman, a pointed glare towards him that only made his amusement grow.

“You promised.” He clicked his tounge at her remark. “I promised I would be on my best behavior, I never stared what my best was now did I.” His voice deep and velvety smooth held amusement in it. “Come now dear sister, we are here to attend a ball correct?”

Her eyes watched as he ascended the steps to the gala, shadows whipping about his form until he was dressed in something more suitable for a formal event. She was simply glad he was able to maintain this look rather than his true form. She soon followed suit, her own form shimmering until she worse something equally as fitting.

“Just know that I won’t hesitate to tell Father if you act out.” She hissed. “We are here to find a potential anomaly, not for pleasure.”

“Please. The Almighty Sinnoh cannot do anything worse that what he has already. You don’t know the half of it.”

A lump formed in her throat at the thought. As the approached the large doors, he offered her his arm. “Shall we?”

She found herself hesitating, before taking his arm. “Just make sure no men hit on me without my authority.”

“I wouldn’t dream of it.”

Palkia and Giratina have arrived at the Gala!

Dagon @ gira and Palkia) Hello are you the pair my little sister said was searching for me? Was thete something you needed?

Palkia, sighing in relief, answered the dialga promptly. “Yes! We were hoping you could advise us on paradoxes if you have had any in your world? Our brother forsaw one coming to ours and has been working himself sick to prevent it. Any information you could give us would be wholeheartedly appreciated.”

Giratina nodded in agreement. How ironic that the Dialga he snapped at earlier for being wholly unhelpful was the one who they needed to aid their own brother. It was almost funny, if not for the information Parisa had told him earlier. It didn’t take long for him to notice a smaller legend next to him, one who had a sense of familiarity about her, despite both of them never meeting.

Red eyes scanned her for but a moment, before realizing what she was. This reshiram, somehow, found her way here from their own universe. There was no mistaking the aura of his father, his world, resting on her. A soft glow emanated from her being, unmistakable to ignore. He wasn’t sure whether to snicker or to stay stunned.

Palkia, listening to the dialga, found herself rudly being elbowed by her brother. When she finally turned to look at him, she followed his point only to see what he saw. Her eyes went wide as she looked dumbfounded, causing her brother to laugh.

“I’ll take care of this.” he whispered. “You just get what we need.” She nodded.

“Excuse me, Miss? Mind if we take a stroll together?”

“Ah! I’m sorry, but I was talking to my friend here I-“

“Now I don’t believe I’ve had the pleasure of meeting a Reshiram before, can you tell me more about it?” Leading the albino deity away, the last quip she was able to get out was a farewell to the dialga.

“Apologies for that, we want to make sure she gets back to our universe safely.” Palkia stated, turning her attention back to the fellow god before her. “Please, do go on. From what your sister said, you’ve been working hard to ensure a paradox doesn’t occur again… How have you done so?”

Shadows whip about him as he seems agitated, scoffing with frustration. Using the sleeve of his coat, he goes to wipe the lipstick off, smearing it more on his nose. “Can’t you both go find some water or a wet rag?!” Nothing had changed other than his anger. Good. He didn’t need the curse to trigger. Perhaps he could isolate himself and wait it out.

Giratina looked over at the Dialga, eyes furrowing. He was from this world, it wasn’t hard to figure that out. His aura felt stronger than the others that were present. Perhaps if he was in a better state of mind, Gir might have mentioned that his sister was looking for the time god. Now however, his mind was racing elsewhere, doing his best to avoid eye contact from anyone.

Cursed Crush is still in effect!

Emerging in the balcony, it seemed like the night was slowly beginning to wind down. The wooden deck beneath his shoes creaked as he stood overlooking the garden.

He hated looking foolish. He hated being embarrassed. He hated others being stupid. The entire situation hit somewhere sore. He had come here on buisness, and while he was going to enjoy the night on his own terms, something had gone awry.

He had never felt something like that before. It was a stupid curse, something meant to play with his emotions and prey on his heart. It was, mostly, harmless. So then why was he missing that warmth?

Did he really want to love? He never needed it before. But then, he’d also never been with anyone before. Before he had a family, and that was enough. Or at least it was.

Something new had gripped him, and now he felt the tug of home wearing on him. Sighing into the wind, he resigned to find his sister.

Hearing the legend’s tone caught Giratina’s ears. Turning on his heel, his face was planted firmly in a frown. No mischevious glint resided in his eyes.

“You seem to be quite omnipotent for a legend who knows nothing of my universe.” Striding towards the man, he paused, looking him up and down. Giratina knew easily what he was, not that it mattered. He had been alive long enough to know of what happened in his universe, that was what he cared about.

“Let me ask you this,” he paused “If you had a rogue Enamorous place a love curse on you, how would you feel? How about having unwanted lips placed upon you leaving a mark? I’m positive you would be as disgusted and embarrassed as I am.”

The thing that pissed him off, was this legend talking as if he knew what transpired between him and his father. The way he acted like it was responsible for his ‘childish’ behavior. It made his blood boil.

“Since you act like you know my universe so well, why not describe to me exactly what happened between my father and I? And please, don’t leave a single detail out.” His tone was almost excited, if not for the venom seeping under it. “I personally think it is an extremely petty blow to bring up something you have no place to mention, let alone idea of what happened. Even if every other universe is similar, that does not make it fair to assume what happened in mine.” Pacing the legend, like a lion stalking it’s prey, red eyes bore down on the iced man like hot embers. “I could assume much about you right now. I could assume you are just as temperamental and childish as I, using cruder language to get your point across. Acting higher than I simply because I lost my temperment over something relatively reasonable. I could assume what you are, what your so called ‘story’ is.”

Stopping, he leaned down. “Just because you have all that power, does not mean you can act like you know everything.”

“Your power would mean nothing in my universe. No matter which form you took. So I’d advise you tread lightly with your words. You know nothing of what you speak.”

Watching her form recede into the tower, the man huffed, work finished. He was sure he would feel the presence of his sister arrive back in the universe soon enough as well, reporting to ‘Almighty Sinnoh’ about their findings. Everyone was accounted for, nothing had uprooted since they had left. He would surely be happy with their work.

Turning, he began to walk down the path away from the tower. Perhaps when he returned he would be able to speak his own piece too, or-

“Agh! What?!” His voice hissed, as he stumbled over something. His foot seemed to be caught. It wasn’t until he looked down that he saw it.

Shadows, reaching up to touch him, wrapping around his form. Using his strength, he tried to wrench himself free of the chains fighting to bind him. ‘I won’t go back!! Not now! Try and stop me then!’ Tightening upon his wrists, shackles pulled taught as they dragged the god further down into the now open pit. The world seemed to bend and break as the sheer power of the abyss. A final scream tore from his mouth before he was dragged under once more.

It didn’t take long for his body to be dumped back in the place he called home, dropped on the cold unforgiving ground that he knew too well. Gasping for air, his form lost the formal attire he wore, reverting back to something more regal. It seemed like his efforts went unappreciated by the almighty god mortals oh so beloved.

Standing, Giratina brushed himself off, and refamiliarized himself with the distortion world. The only home he had, one as uncaring as he was. Rushing water floating past, as islands rearranged themselves to carve a path to traverse. The moon was high, a red hue decorated it as it shone through the overworld to his in pools of water shimmering across the land. A night all ghost types could revel in.

Sensing a presence unknown to him, he sighed. “Make yourself known, or leave my domain. What do you require of me now?”
