You talk to Ringo?? Ringo Starr??
Not like, regularly, but I've talked to him twice, yeah. He has a house near where I grew up, and I've been in and out of music circles since I was born, effectively

What if you had severe self-esteem issues and you could clone yourself but your clone was cooler & more extroverted & better groomed than you. Would that be like. Fucked up or what.
A critical component of Chorus' power irony is that she is verrry prone to jealousy of her clones, and - given that most clones start out as perfect copies of her - they share the exact same issues. When The Chorus are alone or surrounded by enemies, they're a well-oiled machine, able to rely on one another completely. In the presence of allies, The Chorus end up at one another's throats for every scrap of attention.
The original usually wins out, since she can despawn her clones at will, and doesn't hesitate to do so. Her clones are caught between a deep-seated desperation to "win" affection and admiration, and the knowledge that if their progenitor feels threatened (which she will, if they succeed), she'll delete them from existence completely.

#ThrowbackThursday and incoherent ramblings
For the 'Bring out your ghosts' jam I reuploaded my first WIP onto itch.io.
Veil: Prophecy
Play as a Forensic Necromancer. Try and solve a murder whilst avoiding (or encouraging) an interfering Chosen One (and your past).
Written 3 years ago, it's full of bugs, typos, and inconsistencies.
It was posted at a time in my life when I was still 'in academia', and as someone who was always told I'd never achieve anything and that applying to uni was a waste of my time etc. the story was kind of a reflection of that.
A protagonist who was at odds with the concept of chosen ones, not destined for anything but able to influence the world still despite being underestimated and overlooked through sheer willpower and spite. Someone who had never been encouraged learning how to encourage others.
THIS WILL LIKELY NEVER BE COMPLETED. Though the plot threads and characters are still ones that I'd like to revisit, even if it means untangling them from this work and placing them into another.
The project was too ambitious for my first foray into writing IF, and as it turns out the period after graduating uni is really fucking busy.

Living in a tiny ass country makes it impossible to name drop. A song will come up on the radio and you go "The singer used to be in one of my lecture classes" and someone else will go "Oh I also had a lecture with them" and then you're just figuring out if you happened to take the same class by any chance and no one has become any cooler
