Human version of Cuppiccino!!!
This is her in her dress for the gala! Purple just looks really good on her
Her hair is in the protective goddess braids style ^^ don't know if I got that across in my artstyle well but she is meant to be mixed race here lol

I'm not feeling particularly inspired lately, so thanks to the peoples who sparkled up this idea in the tags of one of my previous work.
This can also be read as another continuation of this

i just finished rewatching gravity falls for the first time since i was dipper and mabel’s age, and somehow i only remembered AFTER it was all said and done that today is their birthday. poetic. i’m in emotional shambles.
i hope everything works out. i hope my twin brother and i stay close forever. this show gives me a lot of hope and determination and i hope i never lose that, or my childlike sense of wonder and whimsy. you know, the important stuff. i’ve also decided just now that i’m going to stop being self-conscious about getting sappy. i love this show with all of my heart and it’s been my dream for a long time now to someday create something that can inspire sincerity in others as much as gravity falls has inspired me to always strive for authenticity. that was a long run-on sentence but i hope it makes sense.
thank you alex hirsch for creating the perfect show!

That moment you realize the weird gritty dark Pinocchio game you got an ad for on YouTube isn’t a casual rpg but a goddam Soulslike and you’re bad at fighting in casual-er games already. But you already paid for it and your gamer mom wants to see what it’s deal is so she’s watching you play

less magic that's beautiful and ethereal and wondrous. more magic that's grotesque and horrifying. yes.
things that were never meant to move breaking themselves to obey the demands of magic. the pieces grind against each other in a way that would surely be painful, chipping off jagged ends until they can't fit back together without the magic that hurt them to begin with
especially filtered through something like the veil, magic is unnatural and scars the user and the person or thing upon which it's being used. it's like working in a foundry; you can know all the safety precautions but the longer you spend with the molten metal the more you get used to it - you build scar tissue where the burns keep reoccurring and don't feel the heat as much. you accept the small hurts as the price of using molten lead or sulphur or whatever.
you can cast a walking bomb curse, sure, but you have to deal with the gory spatter that's Going To Happen when you generate enough internal pressure in a body to make it explode, and also if you do it Too Much you get kickback pressure that can cause a burst cranial blood vessel if you're not fucking careful
you want to set a firestorm onto your enemies? you can but you're going to burn your hands on the casting and burn your esophagus and lungs breathing in that superheated air and also mar the landscape irreparably

its one thing for a woman to blow off steam about how shes treated at the hands of the patriarchy, to say ‘god i hate men’ and leave it at that, its quite another to genuinely believe that anything (arbitrarily) associated with men or masculinity is, in and of itself, bad, and anything (arbitrarily) associated with women or femininity is, in and of itself, good. For sure, feel free to engage in positivity around the things that women are so often shamed for, but when you see people saying that stuff is inherently ‘divine’ or that certain body parts are blanket ‘bad’ or ‘evil’...maybe just ask yourself why someone would pass that kind of judgement on a concept or object that has no inherent moral weight.

In response to the gravel thing, big wheels are the only thing that's gonna work in gravel. Little wheels tend to get stuck, which is why that all terrain rollater that the other anon shared had such big back wheels.
In terms of people not being jerks about it, i think that a rollator (like one of the reds ones with the solid wheels) is the one that's least likely to have people being jerks about it.
Also, In my experience, making it look like it's for a young person (like if you put stickers and stuff all over it like you were talking about doing), it will make it very clear it's yours and make you seem 'inspirational' to ignorant people rather than anger inducing.
When I used one of my grandfather's old canes when I was 13, random people, particularly old people, got very mad at me and told me that 'i was so young, i should enjoy it, not be using a cane.'
But when I got a new child-sized pink cane and put lisa frank stickers and chibi cephalopod stickers on it and got a little sparkly tassel on the wriststrap, all of a sudden I was 'so brave' and they were 'so proud of me.'
Thanks! I think I'm probably going to end up with one that can't really do gravel, but if it can handle grass and occasionally like dirt paths I think it'll work out? As much as I'd like to do the whole picnics in the park thing, realistically I'm going to use it most often in like grocery stores and stuff like that
And oof, I never really thought of that as the trade off, but it is a really good suggestion. I was going to put stickers on it anyway (because I can and also why not lol) but making it look obviously mine instead of my dad's will probably help a lot. I've only had people call me brave or inspirational for like...existing with health issues a few times? And it was uncomfortable and weird every time! but honestly less disruptive to my day than the angry people
I got the "you're too young, enjoy life while you can" thing too!! I was in a rented wheelchair at the state fair because I'd just gotten through with a full month of bedrest from having a very bad case of mono and my resting heart rate would not come down from the 140s! Same hat! But like, terrible same hat, sorry you had to deal with it. There should be a thing for same hat, but the hat was bad lol

Something I love about NRFTI is that the presumably normal human main character meets up with his online friend and one of them has animal ears and a tail and he's like super chill with that like it's completely normal. And the other friend has a body temperature that should definitely be concerning like the dude is running a constant fever and feels like a stove-top and that also just normal to Adam, his friend is a personal space heater and that's not concerning. That other guy is half animal and that's totally chill and cool, no pun intended as that guy's body temp is like pure fucking ice constantly
And then he meets back up with his childhood best friend and previous partner... and it's completely and totally not weird that they're now a fuckin catboy. They have cat ears and a tail and in fact.. That is so perfectly fine with Adam that they're back together and implied to have.. literally fucked.
AND THEN.
He meets two more online friends.
And..
One of them is a whole ass half human half... dragon.
A DRAGON HUMAN HYBRID
And that's normal enough for him to just get in the busted up old creepy white van with the... dragon
And the other guy, the one driving, is apparently half fish
And its,...,,,,,, just another Tuesday
