Today marks the third month of a prosperous year thus far. The Uchiha clan welcomes their 7th victory on the field with the gentle Spring sun and the fresh Equinox blossoms. Their encampment sat on a river's edge surrounded by beautiful maples and flourishing plains with a quiet creek descending down a flat stone decline.

Near the edge of the river stones stood Izuna Uchiha, the youngest of his brothers, alone with nothing on his person except a single sword and his wits. His eyes were set on the path, waiting their new guests to arrive.

And, when they eventually came traversing up the soft Earthen path, Izuna stepped from his serene spot to greet the leader of this caravan along with what appeared to be a girl nestled inside the coach.

"Good afternoon," he spoke with a cordial bow," I hope your trip was kind and easy on your way here."

The Uchiha princeling took a wide step to the side, allowing their guests the space to exit and time to take in the scenery.

"Fine...but I hope you know I'm going to complain about it for the entire time." Not much point in taking a shower now, he had patrol later that night and would only get mucked up and sweaty again, what a waste of time, it seemed illogical. He seemed to grumble along with his train of thought, gathering a couple of clean towels before heading off to the bathroom.

The kazekage looked up from his files, his expression as neutral as ever as the other approached. It was unlike her to make her presence known following one of his meetings. They were used to Gaara being occupied for hours at a time. Free time was… obsolete for the kazekage, not to mention she had her own life now. Still, he remained silent watching and waiting. Perhaps she needed something and if not, well, he supposed he could spare some time all the same. He wouldn't go so far as to say that being kazekage had solved all of their family issues, but he knew being occupied with his new title kept them from worrying about him. With no bijuu inside of him anymore, it was one less thing Kankuro and Temari had to deal with. That alone, was enough to ease some tensions, even if it had been at the expense of Gaara's strength.

Brown eyes met the starry night sky as Shikamaru lifted his eyelids. It was strange, because he had taken a nap during noon and it usually ever lasted only an hour. Could he have slept through the day? He had been tired, always tired, but had he really been that tired?

The Nara sat up and was hit in the face with a dust of sandy wind. Some got in his eye and he rubbed it before pushing himself up, dusting himself off from sand.

...Sand? But the grass... His tree. The creek. None of it was there. He had been surrounded by greenery and now suddenly he wasn't even in Konoha.

Squinting ahead, he saw the entrance to Suna's village and, even though baffled, he made his way towards it. How on earth...? Had he only been dreaming, perhaps. He was on his way here for... something. Great. Hopefully the memories of that would return fast enough.

He reached the entrance and let the guards know who he was, and they let him through. Alright... Well, there was no other place he could go than up to Gaara, right? So, to the Kazekage building he went...

" o-oh! s-sasuke-kun! t-there you are. " temari calls him over as she hands him a basket of roses. " a-aren't these what y-you were looking for? " she asked with a small smile.

    Temari was quite sweet in this world. He accepted the basket and watched her smile. Quite a difference between the Temari he had seen. Come to think of it, his counterpart in this world seems to like to run around with these roses, Temari must have paid attention to that. Attentive. He reached into the basket and handed her one of the roses. “Thank you. Take one.”

Sasuke bit back the harsh reply that had been on his lips. Temari was just worried about him, that was all.

"...I'm fine. I can keep training." He said, managing to give her a small smile. "Don't worry, I know my limits." He didn't say that he wasn't going to push past those limits, though... he didn't want to lie to her.

“Oro? this one does?” he runs a hand through his hair, it was dry and greasy and covered in split ends. It really was in such poor condition. But what could he do? He was a poor man walking the earth looking for a way to atone.

He was shocked to see Leaf nin gang up on a lonely Sand nin. Especially since the war and putting it all behind them and all that jazz. He strides forward and sharply grabs one of the offenders hand.

“Now thats not very polite. She is a guest here.” Jiraiya says calm and icy. He turns to her and offers a smile. “We aren’t usually so mean. Could I get you something to smooth things over?”
