Pairing : Keonhee(Oneus) X Reader

Description : you loved filming vlogs of your everyday life. meanwhile your boyfriend, Keonhee, loved to be in them.

“Stop moving like that, Keonhee”, you burst into uncontrollable laughter while wheezing hard in between laughs.

Instead of acting naturally for the camera like you had specifically told him to, your boyfriend thought that it would be better if he did an aegyo relay to bring more flavour into your daily vlog. Shaking your head at his nonsense, you positioned your camera upright again to film him.

You always had a love for filming as the film major that you are. Recently, you had picked up the hobby of vlogging your everyday life just for the fun of it. You wanted to keep all the vlog entries as memories that you could look back at when you grew older. Memories that you would cherish for a lifetime.

To keep things organised, you would set a theme for every vlog you took. This time, it was supposed to have chill and laid back aesthetics. Things were going smoothly according to plan until Keonhee happened.

The two of you were taking a short walk along Han River. It was a calm Sunday after all. The weather was nice..slightly chilly, the leaves on the trees were a beautiful shade of green, and the clouds above your heads were soft and poofy.

You just had to capture the moment. You let go of Keonhee's hand that was holding yours and reached into your backpack to take out your camera. Hearing a pouty cry of protest coming from your right, you paused to raise your eyebrows at your boyfriend.

“What?”, you asked him cluelessly.

“Your hand was so waaarm, Y/N”, he adorably whined while looking at you with puppy eyes.

Reaching further into your backpack, you grabbed a hotpack and lightly tossed it to him.

“Here ya go”

“Gee, I really do have the best partner in the world”, he deadpanned.

Standing on your tiptoes, you kissed him on the cheek before smiling smugly at him. “You're absolutely right about that, sweetie”

He placed his hand affectionately on the spot that you just kissed and asked whether you were going to do a vlog. You nodded in response.

“Oooh lemme be in it, please”, Keonhee pursed his lower lip as he clinged to your arm.

“Sure, why not..just act natural Keonhee”

While he was preparing himself for whatever reason he needed to prepare himself, you had already pressed the record button and was filming some scenic shots of Han River.

Everything was perfect. But the second your camera panned to where Keonhee was, you couldn't keep your composure.

There he was, acting not naturally at all.

“Ah, Keonhee is shy”, he exclaimed while shielding his face away from your camera in an exaggerated manner.

He continued switching from one aegyo to another as if he had been practising for years and waiting for this very moment to come. You were left dumbfounded at his cute antics. So instead, you decided to abandon the theme you had set before and go with whatever Keonhee decided to do.

Following him around the park was fun to do, especially when people around started giving weird looks at Keonhee who was practically gracing the whole place with his presence. He was twirling around, hopping up and down like a bunny, and running around the park like a lost child. Seeing him being so carefree and unbothered left a huge lovestruck look on your face. This was the man who had your heart.

“O..okay, done”, you switched off your camera and left it slung around your neck.

Editing for you would always start in the middle of night so now you had loads of time to relax.

By the time you finished your vlog, the two of you were absolutely hungry. Thankfully, there was a convenient store nearby.

“Keonhee, do you want anything from the store?”, you turned to your boyfriend while removing the camera strap from your neck.

“Nah, it's okay I feel like ordering fried chicken”, he gave you a toothy grin while motioning to his phone.

So you left him there sitting under a tree to go to the store.

The rest of the day went by quickly. Keonhee had work the next day so he had to leave early. The two of you parted ways at the train station. He took the train on the opposite side and like a whole drama, he kept waving at you till the doors closed on him. You tried to hide your smile when his face dropped. Giving him a flying kiss, he grabbed for it and pocketed the kiss in his coat. You were the epitome of a cheesy couple.

Once you were home, you straight away went to take a nice, warm shower. It'd been a long day after all. When you finished, you sat on your bed to check on the clips you captured. But as you switched your camera on, you were left puzzled. A blank screen. You didn't remember recording a black screen.

Noticing the video icon in the corner of the screen, you clicked.

The start was full of shuffling and rustling before a gasp could be heard. Immediately, the blank screen turned into your boyfriend's face looking directly at the camera. He smiled sheepishly while scratching his temple.

“Heh, I wanted to surprise you Y/N but I forgot to remove the lens cover”, Keonhee's face was turning red in embarrassment and you could hear his lisp thickening.

You melted at his adorableness.

“So you're walking towards the store right now-”, he cut himself off.

“-oh God, you're so adorable with your little waddles”

“Anyway, I decided to make a small video dedicated to you”, his eyes looked into the camera softly.

“Y/N, I want you to know that you are the most wonderful person I've ever met. Remember the time when we first bumped into each other at school? That was absolutely planned, not on my part though. I had a crush on you but was too scared to ask you out. So Hwanwoong decided to push me in your direction when you were walking towards us. I'm sooo sorry you fell on your face. I made sure Hwanwoong got a scolding of his life from Yonghoon-hyung”

You let out a soft chuckle as you looked back at the memory. That fall made you hit your face hard. But you didn't want to make Keonhee feel bad so instead..

“I was slightly freaked out when you started laughing your head off with your face still on the floor”

“That's when I was really glad Hwanwoong did what he did because without him, I would've never plucked up the courage to go speak to you”

“I love you with all my heart, Y/N..please know that. I gotta end this soon because I can already see your bald head from here”, he laughed at his own joke.

You weren't bald. You just had short hair hiding under your beanie.
