Finally finished my Christmas card design for this year. I knew Polly had to be in it since this will be the first Christmas without her, so decided on "Polly's Christmas Party", featuring all the cats I know.

Buffy (sister's cat) is telling an elaborate story to an uninterested Polly. Hammy is distracted by a toy on the floor. Teddy (Hammy's brother who belongs to a friend) is dancing with Bonnie (dad's cat) and Gilbert (mum's cat) is a little drunk and spilling his wine over Zimmy (sister's other cat). Really pleased with how it turned out!

Focusing div elements with React

Is it possible to focus div (or any other elements) using the focus() method?

I've set a tabIndex to a div element:

<div ref="dropdown" tabIndex="1"></div>

And I can see it gets focused when I click on it, however, I'm trying to dynamically focus the element like this:

setActive(state) { ReactDOM.findDOMNode(this.refs.dropdown).focus();}

Or like this:

this.refs.dropdown.focus();

But the component doesn't get focus when the event is triggered. How can I do this? Is there any other (not input) element I can use for this?

React-native how to move screen up on textinput

I have a login screen created using react-native.

How can I shift my screen up when the user is typing in the textInput?

Do I listen to the onFocus() event and use css styling to change the style of the view?
