Winter 2022 Anime Opinions

From least to fav here are my overall thoughts:

Urusei Yatsura (2022)

I am just not the target audience for this. This is probably a nostalgia ridden show that people who watched the original will love and enjoy but I am not that person and with the two eps I watched I had enough. The jokes were not funny to me all characters were annoying and yeah the animation is nice but I will not put myself through something I will not enjoy for it tbh. Watch it if you liked the original ig

Tonikaku Kawaii: SeifukU

I dislike tonikaku with a passion it gives go girl give us nothing to the negative 20 no flavor no taste still the same shiz as the show so yeah. Watch it if you liked the series lmao its more of the same

Shinobi no Ittoki

I guess…… Its really kinda bland and I can’t pinpoint why. The concept is interesting but it just doesn’t hold up in its execution and I dont care for it run sorry do better I guess

Fumetsu no Anata e 2nd Season

I try so hard to care, SO hard. Since season 1 I have found this show to be kinda…. All over. Like the only storyline I cared about was the one with the kid with the mask last season and since that its just been meh to me. Like, we already kinda know how everything is going to go and all the arcs are kinda the same, they show us someone, we care for them for like half an episode, they die, repeat.

Bocchi the Rock! 

I TRIES SO HARD TO CARE TOO I AM SO SORRY. This has been like the number 1 show this year but I… I dont know I just dont like it ASDFGHJ I am not a big fan of cute girls doing nothing specially mixed with the uwu social anxiety quirky. Like they dont paint it in a bad light like most shows do and the art style is very unique but I just dont… Give a shit adfgdhjf I tried I promise but hey if you are into this shows probs the one for you.

This one is boring I am ngl. Its not bad but like… Its not good either. Ive seen this trope done SO many times its just boring. It hasn’t done anything bad per se but I just dont really care for it much. I like my romance with spicier ships so yeah I mean if you like cute royal same old same old couples then watch it.

This is trash but it goes higher just because Its what it is and delivers just what I expected. The reincarnated person is annoying as fuck but the girls have cute dynamics so that's why it goes higher. Its just 3 minutes skits of the girls being cute so yeah its okay

Koukyuu no Karasu

I feel like this is a good show but I am just not the target for this adsfgh its a show you gotta pay attention to understand and a lot of history goes behind it and it just kinda bored me but I know its not bad. I just dont think its for me but that's okay I might keep watching it.

Eternal Boys 

Its okay. Its a nice concept and I have only watched like 3 eps but its a nice message I guess. Its short and whatever so it doesn't take much time to watch but its not something revolutionary. I like idol shows so maybe I am giving it more than what it is.

Mob Psycho

This is the one that gets me cancelled part 2 SKSKSK. I am not going to lie besties, I am not the biggest mob psyhco fan. Its okay, I just never got into the hyper around it sorry :(( I really wish I could because I know its a good story and I ddi like that last episode a lot but like,,,,, I feel like the story was over last season ASDFGH But hey I am glad y'all enjoyed it a lot!

Boku no Hero Academia 6th Season

I am ngl, I am like on ep 2 of bnha season 6 but have seen the Dabi scene like 20 times thanks to social media and I got no choice but to Stan. I dont like this arc of bnha as y'all know but it seems more interesting than last season and I like the way the animation direction is going so I will give them points for it.

Its cute girls doing silly lil stuff and I am not a big fan of the genre like I said but this one is more entertaining for me, maybe because I am more into DIY shit but its cute!! Nothing big happens tbh but its a soft watch to put in the background if y'all enjoy this

Romantic Killer

This was cute! A refreshing romcom from the ones weve gotten recently tbh. I liked it even though I have a different interpretation of the road they took it in the end but it was a fun show to watch with some nice gags and cute characters, defo give it a go!

Renai Flops

Okay hear me out. This one is in a weird place but hear me out. I hate everything this anime stands for because it was such a cliche weird and ecchi but it was such an interesting train wreck I HAD to keep on watching every episode and when I least expected it I was suddenly on ep 6 and the twist left me screAmiNG. It kinda goes downhill again after ep 7 but just because it took me so off guard (dont wanna spoil it but aloO) it goes high up, gg 1 for the ecchi trash 0 for Maria this round.

Yowamushi Pedal: Limit Break

Ngl this season of yowapeda hasn't been as hyped as I hoped for me but I care so much about the characters I will place it high up SKSKSKSK its basically more of the same; I honestly miss the upperclassman a lot but its okay my babies appear like for .2 frames and I start sobbing

Akuyaku Reijou nano de Last Boss wo Kattemimashita 

okaY is this trash??? yes. Do I care??? nO. I LOVE MY SILLY LIL TROPES OKAY ITS FUNNY AND SILLY AND DUMB AND THEY ARE CUTE SO IT GOES UP OKAY I LIKE HAMEFURA WHAT DO YALL EXPECT FROM ME. still kinda trash but like, guilty pleasure trash.

4-nin wa Sorezore Uso wo Tsuku

THIS IS HOW YOU DO CUTE GIRLS (AND TSUKASA LY BESTIE) DOING CUTE STUFF IN A GOOD WAY. If you like Saiki K you'll like this show. I dont know how to explain it but it gives the energy from Saiki K and I loved it they are very important and relevant.

Spy x Family Part 2 

Its more of the same of part 1 y'all know spy x family its a good show I love them all I love when my families are found go stream it look at Bond and Anya being best family

Guys guys my favorite comfort soccer players are finally animated!!! Watch it. If y'all follow me y'all know I am annoying about blue lock. Its the only anime that has Bachira AND Reo imagine the odds!!! Its a great sports anime and the characters are great and I love it and its my comfort okay

Stella x Striker

Because I’m shipping trash and a few small posts dragged me into this. Some of this is from my discussions with @sleepyhoneybunn and some is just stuff I came up with. Now I’m imaging Blitzo saying Stella needs to “get railed by some fucking imp dick, maybe then she’ll calm the fuck down.”

This ended up way longer than I expected.

I imagine Stella being very defensive and angry for a while once she realizes she starts to have feelings. She’s super conflicted and not sure what to do. She has an image to uphold. Not just because she’s royalty but because in Hell any form of weakness can paint a massive target on your back.

Striker is probably much the same, but better at hiding it. There’s no way he’s fallen for some blue blood demon royalty, especially not some uppity bird like Stella Goetia.

It doesn’t stop him from flirting though. Stella being all huffy and denying that she likes him and he just smirks, chuckling. “Sure ya don’t, darlin~”

Stella is probably an angry version of Ashley. “Oh, Stella~” “ASDFGH! That’s Lady Goetia to you, imp!”

They totally end up fucking before anything happens between them. They do it on Stella and Stolas’s bed. Turnabout is FairPlay after all. "HA! Now I've slept with an imp in our bed! How does that feel you wanker???!!"

Stolas is both confused and amused. “How was it?” Stella is pissed he’s not as angry as she wants him to be.

Striker starts realizing that he enjoys annoying Stella. Never going so far as for her to pull the funding for him to assassinate her husband, but a few flirty remarks here and there make her turn red and it’s hilarious.

Slowly but surely, less time is spent plotting to assassinate Stolas and more time is spent together. Simply talking. Striker sneaks in all the time. Stella hates that he hardly calls ahead, especially since she hates the idea of this dirty imp climbing her walls. Striker just says he needs to know how to get in and out undetected, for the job, of course.

Stella having a depressed moment in one of the other rooms, having a moment of weakness and heartbreak and she just hears that rattle. Striker snuck in (again) and immediately puts on her cold noblewoman armor. She’s not in love with Stolas, but not only is he putting the family at risk, it makes her feel like she wasn’t good enough. Like she’s being disrespected. Not that she’d ever tell Stolas that. She might tell Striker though, after too many drinks of expensive wine.

Striker isn’t that great with feelings, his own or anyone else’s for that matter. But the fact that he even tries shows a lot. He helps the lady to bed and stays until she’s asleep. He’d stay all night but he can’t risk getting caught.

Their relationship, for a long time, is a bunch of secret rendezvous filled with flirting and irritated denial, by Striker and Stella respectively. The damn cowboy gets bolder with every visit. Stella is still a massive tsundere but she hasn’t killed him yet so... They only had sex the one time at this point. Striker doesn’t push for it again, but he still enjoys flustering the prim and proper lady.

Imagine him stealing a smooch and slipping away, sneaking a rose into her hair before vanishing into the night. Stella turns bright red and screams with rage. Later on she’s standing on a balcony, holding the rose with a small smile on her face.

It’s been established that Striker can sing and play guitar. Him crooning a love song for Stella has her torn between being a tsundere and swooning like a lovestruck girl. He’d totally do the cliche playing for her while she’s on a balcony. She’s trying to look irritated but she can’t fight the smile. How long has it been since she’s been romanced?

Stella secretly trying on his hat in a ‘morning after’ situation. Striker catches her and purrs. “Ya look good with my hat on. Maybe I should let ya keep it~” he winks and Stella turns red. “As if I’d ever wear this filthy patch of fabric! ...in public.”

Stella always patches up his wounds. Under the guise of him not getting blood all over her expensive carpets. It’s not like she cares about the imp. Of course not...

Striker has to admit, sneaking around with Stolas’s wife makes him super smug. It’s just a fun dalliance, a small way to stick it to the tall bird man. It’s not like he cares about her. No fucking way...

SPOILERY ETERNALS REVIEW/THOUGHTS UNDER THE CUT PLEASE?? 💖

okay, so. i'll put together a likes/dislikes list and then conclude with my overall opinions. why am i writing this like the last sentence of my intro paragraph for a uni paper asdfgh

what i fucked with:

so much representation!!! a little gay family and an emotional homosexual onscreen kiss with one of the main characters!! hell fckin yeah! a deaf main character?? YES!! the beautiful bollywood scene!!! the main main character being an asian woman when it could have been any of the other white and/or male characters?? YESYESYES!! that made me very happy

the costume design was amazing, as was the set design. i did read that eternals was filmed more onsite than marvel films usually are, which is great. it was a gorgeous movie to watch

also cause everyone in it is so gorgeous?? richard madden? gemma chan? angelina jolie? be still my beating heart

i really loved how all the eternals had different powers, and how they complimented each other. it was really cool to watch the way they fought together

the relationship between thena and gil was everything.

i also think the concept of sprite and her age issues was really well done. i found her annoying at the end but that was kind of the point, i can't imagine how frustrated she must have been

the fuckin. oh my god. the ikea table joke. my friend and i DIED. that is a contender for funniest marvel joke of all time

i think the concept of the movie was actually kinda really dope and interesting. like, the idea that celestials are born of intelligent life and that's why the eternals were sent to protect human life and serve this greater purpose? cool. it felt original and interesting, and didn't content too much with existing marvel lore.

what was maybe kind of wack:

we saw the movie at 20:45, and the movie theatre didn't serve popcorn after 20:00 because of some inconsistent dutch covid rules and so we couldn't have popcorn. this has nothing to do with the movie but it made me sad so it's going in here anyway

this didn't bother me as much as it did my bestie -- i obviously facetimed her as soon as i got home -- but she was right in pointing out that there was a bit of a problem with the lack of chronology. sometimes the flashback scenes weren't indicated as such soon enough, but mostly the problem was how this influenced the building of characters and relationships

because all of the backstory (just of the characters and their developing relationships) isn't until later in the movie, it's harder to care about them until then. they want us to mourn a relationship and mourn a character before we even know them

which is part of the reason i didn't find ikarus and sersi that convincing. i did ship them in the beginning, but my bestie didn't at all. they tell us they're in love without first showing us how they fell in love, and when they do show us, it's in a few short basic scenes

(also, this isn't necessarily bad but ? a sex scene? in a marvel movie?? i don't know her)

but yeah, i think that not only their relationship, but the relationships between all of them would have been more convincing with more initial scenes of them just bonding and joking around and being a family. we only got references to that, and then the scenes where they're all yelling at each other

which ties to what i would have loved: a montage scene with fun music that shows what they were all up to through the ages. apart from that one short hiroshima scene, all we got was modern day and BC. i want to see phastos finally invent the steam engine! i want sersi in a flapper dress! i want ikaris to be madden back in the kit from cinderella fit!! it also would have been a great way to let the audience get to know the characters better in order to fall in love with them, and a way for the relationships to develop

even though i shipped them, i wasn't invested enough in ikaris' and sersi's realtionship, which might be the crux of it. i liked dane too much and there wasn't enough set up for them. there's that writing rule about romance, and how a good romance is written in such a way that they don't need to kiss in order for you to realize it's romantic. they barely had that.

who was the villain? while i think it can be nice to have ambiguity, the fact that it kept switching around in this movie was a bit confusing. i sometimes forgot who they were fighting.

the really cheesy music over the dramatic moments was too much sometimes. i couldn't help but laugh when it was taking itself way too seriously

which leads me to my last point. they thought they were being so dramatic. they thought they were being so clever. they had ikaris fucking YEET himself into the sun after he messed up once (1), and i was laughing. it was fucking hilarious, and i know that that's not what they were going for. it your defining dramatic moment comes across as ridiculous, you fucked up

what is harry styles doing in the mcu. baby no, run while you can. i think he'll do a great job and i love him but i'll need some time because right now i don't wike it.

conclusion: 6.5/10

i was very much entertained and i had a good time and i fell in love with some characters, but i would have been more in love with them with just a few additional scenes. it was a beautiful movie to watch and had some absolutely hilarious anecdotes that made me laugh out loud. i wish i would have had popcorn. ikarus yeeting himself into the sun is ridiculous. the half point is for the ikea joke.

Like, he's super charming, but in a way that's very sweet and genuine, in the way that makes his lovers feel so warm and loved. Like how daydreams and cotton candy feel like. This smooth lad is like. The most gentlemanly charming guy. He's the kind that will flirt by kissing the back of the hand, offering his coat, and shooting a wink. A classy, almost old fashioned kind of flirting which is... Very effective. Obviously he uses his power to manipulate 9.5/10 a good flirt with a side of evil

His kind of flirting is the sweetest kind. He will just shower you in a bunch of love and sweetness until you feel all mushy. Kinda like a hug. On the other hand... When he feels a bit more gutsy, his flirting gets a bit more suggestive and physical, yet still very on brand. He'll gently bush his lovers hair behind their ear. He'll hug them from behind and kiss their neck. One soft lad 9/10

Virgil

He has that rough kind of flirting style that just sorta makes his lovers weak in the knees. His trademark is the kabedon, a smirk and a simple 'hey'. His eye contact is very intense. The only thing is that when he Can't Deal when his lovers flirt back. A very effective flirt 8/10

Boy can ATTEMPT to flirt. As a treat. But seriously, when he tries, it comes off as a little awkward but he's persistent. He will try his best to flirt but inevitably ends up at the flirtee half the time 6/10 a good try-er

How does the mun decide which muses they want to add to their blog? Have they ever decided to remove a muse due to lost interest/other reasons?

well, there’s 2 ‘levels’ of having a muse for me; wanting to play them as a mun, and the element that’s more like having an imaginary friend, and each muse has a varying level of both;  the latter always kicks in when i have a reply tab open and only uses my thoughts beforehand as a guideline.

Some I’ve added totally on purpose, while others operate nearly by themselves and just speak up whenever; when they won’t shut up is when I usually relent and add em, cause, might as well.  I add any muse like that so long as they won’t hurt anyone IRL.

about all of my single-ship muses lean towards the unplanned;  I always get a lil miffed that I can’t ‘share’ em and let em love other muses, especially things I ship-;; if i can manage a way to get em to, I may successfully move ‘em to multi.

Tobey and Sterling are well planned, tho. Other OCs are on the basis of ‘i found this really cool FC so i’ll look at these icons and see what oc pops up’

But I have quite a few boys who, are here because they took a look @  felix-muse and went ‘oh that one, that’s mine’ so i’m like ‘ASDFGH u stop that’ including Sans, Robin, Bailey, and Kamui.

Sans was a muse i kinda had for my friend’s selfship, and then he switched gears when she left tumblr (and decided to flirt out of nowhere. without warning.)

I never planned to have Robin or Kamui largely due to having verses for that, and other people doing them justice.

it’s like i find it embarrassing but i’m not about to like fighting imaginary people that hard on their ‘ships lmfao. probably just reflects IRL tendencies;;;  i don’t ‘date’, i just give guys chances until i break up or get married ig;;;

my last #blog update definitely proves I’ve removed some; when the muse is inactive for a while, I assume I’m not interested, at least for the time being. For muses I keep despite being inactive...probably just not in the mood for their bullshit, lol.

TREVOR! oh my goodness i’m sort of at a loss as to how to start this. when i first followed you i never imagined we’d end up with, like?? a hundred ships and five billion threads (that are still all in my drafts, btw) but HERE WE ARE. you are such a talented writer, and it’s proven by the way you can so expertly navigate between so many very different characters, not to mention a number of characters that are particularly difficult to get right (like henry)! but you do get them right, you put so much thought into them, and they have their own distinct voices and motivations, and those hold true to them even when you put them in situations that change other things about them. like?? there’s always a core that makes them very much still, definitively, That Character, and it works so well. 

AND NOT ONLY THAT, but you are one of the easiest people to talk to ooc that i have ever come across?? i’m not very good at the whole ooc chatting thing asdfg ask anyone, but whether we’re chatting about random things or discussing our characters or refining a plot, you are such a great person to talk to, and just?? such a positive presence to have on the dash. you have such a reasonable approach to this wild place/hobby, and it is so so so appreciated. 

anyway, to wrap this up, i know i said we already have five billion threads and that i owe, like, all of them BUT i don’t care how much my drafts folder grows, gimme all of the plots - you are that much fun to write with!

Kunoichi Tsubaki no Mune no Uchi

I dont… I dont know about the one peeps asdfghj it seems wrong what I am watching, like its trying to appease to some sort of loli thing and it makes me very uncomfortable. I dont like that they just hate on man for (???) reason and that it seems more like a bait than anything. Some cute character dynamics but not enough to save it for me.

Aharen-san wa Hakarenai

this show is SO boring ASDFGHJ I am so sorry if you like it but like,,,, I really wanted to like it but,,,,, its just sO slow nothing happens nothing goes on no character stands out the animation is average at best… It gives ‘go girl give us nothing’ energy. Its like Komi san but without its two likable characters so its just boring as I have nothing to look forward to.

speaking of komi san ASDFGHJ I tend to not speak about this show here because I dont want an influx of hardcore Stans coming to attack but komi san is just…. An average show imo :// I dont like when shows romanticize in a way social anxiety and introversion because its something I deal with and the way they uwu about it makes me :/// iffy. Also Yamai may be toeing the line of my most hated fictional character ever. Every time she comes on screen I audibly supreme a groan, I hate everything she says I hate how she sexualizes Komi I hate that her whole character trait is being the “psychotic lesbian” so straight white boys can make fun of on twitter, I hate it. To be fair I hate almost all the characters here, they are almost all cringey and just, not real people whatsoever. The only characters savable are Tadano, Najimi and Onemine, the rest are trash. I dont like this show I am sorry ;w;

Otome Game Sekai wa Mob ni Kibishii Sekai desu

This show goes from being extremely boring to extremely mid, no in between asdfgh I like when Angelica and Olivia are being girlfriends and…. Thats about it. I think the princes are all boring, Leon has its moments here and there and its just very random lmao. I think the concept in itself has more potential than the actual delivery but hey I mean I am still watching it so thats that.

Dance Dance Danseur

AA PLEASE DONT HATE ME BECAUSE I REALLY REALLY REALLY WANTED TO LIKE AND LOVE THIS SHOW AND,,,,, I dont hate it, its just not for me ;w; I like the message but I am not gonna lie familia, I find Ballet extremely boring :( And this is no shade to anyone who enjoys it but I’ve never been a dancer myself so its just very hard for me to connect with whats happening. I guess its like someone who doesn’t like or enjoys art watched Blue period, they will most likely be bored half the time. And I don’t mean it in a way that you cant connect with something you haven’t experienced because I like learning about new things and stuff but asdfgh idk man most of the episodes are just kind of boring to me :( and the characters aren’t strong enough to keep me interested but I do think the message is cool so points for it ^^

Kawaii dake ja Nai Shikimori-san

This show is cute, in a boring way but still cute. Like,,,, nothing happens ASDFGHJ But I think the dynamic is adorable so I can forgive it. I normally like ships and dynamics that have a bit more banter and this one is pretty tame and easy but I mean its an alright watch, there are some good moments here and there.

Love all play

This show is like a rollercoaster because one week I think its amazing, poetic, a master piece, and then the next its cliche and nothing happens SKSKSKKS So I am not sure where to rank it. I think it started off not as my favorite and then I got to know the team and I thought their dynamic was really fun and then it died down again so I mean yeah, very okay-ish sports anime, nothing much more to say lol.

Gunjou no Fanfare

I dont know if I like or hate this show ASDFGHJ I have a love-hate thing with this because I don’t like horses so like whenever it dwells into horse territory (which is like, the main theme of the show) it kinda loses me but then some of the characters (shoutout to Hayato, Sakuraba and Aki truly the only ones ever) are interesting but then they go back to the uninteresting parts and idk ASDFG I do think the whole idol struggle with Yuu was nice and innovative but then by ep 7 it was lowkey resolved so like ?? Idk, watch it for Hayato I guess clink clink

Summertime Render

This show also goes up and down for me too lmaoo, because I went into it and I loved it, proceeded to read the manga in like a week and because of it my enjoyment greatly decreased ASDFGHJK I dont know how to delve into this without spoilers but the pacing of the show is,,,, weird. Weird in the sense that it leaves you kind of questioning things and tbh theres barely any character development to anyone. The animation is pretty tho and I really enjoy the eeriness to it but I think I went in with higher expectations than I should have rip

Kakkou no Iinazuke

This is a trainwreck, but I like train wrecks so I can cant somehow stop watching and I am flabbergasted each week more by it. As the good Latina I am, I’ve watched my fair share of telenovelas and this is the most telenovela esque trope ever but in anime format it makes it somehow 10 times more ridiculous. Tell me that the concept of being switched at birth only to be reunited years later by fate and THEN arranged a MARRIAGE (!!!!) by your parents with your switched person because they wanted to unite the families or something isn’t the most INSANE thing ever ASDFGHJ HOW DO YOU GET FROM POINT A TO B HELLO??? But hey I like mess so I mean I am all for it clink clink. The only thing I hate is the sister thing, I hope she is not a serious love interested because like I get she ain’t his biological sister but,,,,,,, my dudes she grew up as her SIBLING how do you go from that to crush like byE.

Tomodachi Game

You know, I know that y’all like shitting on tomodachi game but its one of my favorite mangas so therefore I love it ASDFGHJ. The thing with tomodachi game (and I commented it in a previous note) is that an anime adaption is very difficult to do well because of the way its a snowball effect sort of story (idk how to explain it without getting into spoilers). JUST READ THE MANGA OKAY AND IF YOU WATCH IT DO IT FOR KEI THE MANGA IS SO GOOD. Be careful with the triggers tho, read them before watching or reading, it delves into some very dark topics.

Koi wa Sekai Seifuku no Ato de

Koiseka is the ugliest romcom ever but I forgive it because its also the dumbest romcom ever SKKSKS I love enemies to lovers and secret dating so all the tropes are taken into account and I appreciate the flavor. I hate the animation but they are all so cute and its very dumb and the plot isn’t anything to really write home about but its cute so give it a go if you want a chill romance where you don’t have to think much other than the red power ranger likes villain.

Rikei ga Koi ni Ochita no de Shoumei shitemita. Heart

Rikekoi is in a weird spot for me because there have been things I liked and disliked from this season but just because I love the concept of STEM people being completely awful at flirting it goes up skskks. People are liking this season more than the last but idk, I think I got to differ because I rEALLY liked season 1 ;w; not saying s2 is bad its just… The pacing seems a bit off and the plot seems to go around in circles at some points where it shouldn’t imo. Not enough Ibarada and Inukai either so //sad noises

Paripi Koumei

This was supposed to be my gag show of the season but I gotta admit when I am wrong and this one really surprised me ngl. It’s like,,,,, crack,,,, but taken seriously,,,, but it somewhat works?? I think I would love it more if I was more into the music industry but it still slaps and the characters are very cute, I love Kabe, Eiko and Nanami and the latter two should kiss. Defo give it a watch ^^

Ao Ashi

I am a weak bitch for sports anime and this wasn’t the exception and Ao Ashi did nOT disappoint everyone cheer. I don’t now if its because I actually understand football or what but I love this show, I am reading the manga and I am already like on chapter 140 lmaoo. The animation is great, the characters too, I enjoy the pacing and plot, although it seems a bit draggy at first its very good give it a go. Do it for Kuroda, Koi, Togashi and Otomo truly the only men ever.

Tiger & Bunny 2

The following ones are all very ties to number one spot because they make me happy and are my comfort shows so I will ramble. Tiger and bunny is a show I discovered like, a month ago, and it consumed me completely asdfgh. I love superhero societies done well (not like ehemm other shows) and I think tiger and bunny nails it. The realism behind the struggles of actually building a hero corporation are shown and the characters on this show are SO good. There is not a single character from the main cast that is unlikeable imo and the way it follows each of their stories and struggles makes for interesting dynamics and storytellings. The ships are also top tier, we got no other choice but to Stan everyone go watch this and give Kotetsu some love he needs it.

Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Ultra Romantic

I don’t think I have much to say regarding love is war other than it slaps, it always had slapped and it will, as a matter of fact, continue to slap. The comedy on this show is AMAZINg and the dynamics are hilarious. The arc that is coming up is very good and yeah,,, I honestly don’t know why not many people talk about Love is War on Tumblr but its really good lol go consume good romance media.

Heroine Tarumono! Kiraware Heroine to Naisho no Oshigoto

shoutout to like, the other 3 people who watch, enjoy and digest this show with me because I am ngl, its becoming a comfort show ASDFGHJK ITS SO GOOD OKAY I LIKE IDOL SHOWS YES. Is it technically better produced than love is war or had a more well built story than tiger and bunny? No, probably no, not really. Do I enjoy it and it makes me happy every single week I look forward to it? You bet it does! Herotaru is just a very idol show but I love the character dynamics and I love Hiyori my queen my everything and the silly little idol boys with their silly little enemies to lovers routine they are the entire circus and-….. I think its neat okay? Okay, now everyone reading this needs to go watch Herotaru, do it for Hiyori best girl.

Spy x Family

omg can you say epIC proportions !!! I think everyone and their mothers has heard of spy x family at this point so I won’t ramble about how good it is but !!! So good !!! The storytelling is great and they’ve adapted the manga fantastically imo. I love Anya and the kids (Damian my soN) as well as the adult story line with Yor and Loid so yeah !!! Probs gonna be best anime of the year we got no choice but to ascend !

~ is a c.i.t. bc he’s not old enough to be a real counselor ~ ~ plays with the kids a l o t ~ ~ is the one giving snacks out ~ ~ really steals the snacks all the time tbh ~

so first thing’s first

jeongin is a c.i.t aka a counselor in training since he’s not old enough to be a full counselor

you, a counselor/c.i.t for the older girls ranging from 9 to 13, were sent down to the 7 to 8 year olds’ area of play to get some food since the older girls ran out

and you just walk in seeing this guy around your age stuffing food into his pockets and a mouth full of pretzels is just???

“uhm, hi?”

the boy jumps in horror, turning to see who had caught him.

“I DIDN’T STEAL ANYTHING!” was the boy’s reply and you couldn’t help but scrunch your nose up, watching as some pieces of food escaped his mouth through his muffled shriek

“i’m not saying you did,” you replied smoothly, walking closer to get a look at the assortment of snacks in the cupboard. “mind if i take some for the older girls?”

it was then, when you were standing right beside him, that jeongin registered what was going on.

oh...you were cute.

swallowing the large mouthful, he rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. “y-yeah, sure! just...don’t tell anyone I’m secretly stealing food.”

peering at his staff shirt, you shrugged, “you work here. doesn’t that give you a valid excuse to be eating food? i’m sure you won’t get in trouble.”

jeongin didn’t reply but simply nodded his head acknowledging what you said. and then mentally smacking himself in the head by realizing you looked like you needed help carrying the three tubs of snacks, he instinctively outstretched his arms.

“need help with that?”

“huh?” you had totally forgotten he was standing beside you and assumed he just left you.

“it’s just...you look like you’re struggling so...”

“oh! well, could you? i could make two trips if i have to, if you’re too busy. that’s al––”

“woah, no! i want to help. besides, busy? you just caught me sneaking the camp’s food into my freaking pockets.”

the boy took two of the tubs out of your hands, leaving you to only carry one of them. the walk to the girl’s common area––it was basically the center between all the girls’ sleeping cabins––was a long one so you were hoping the boy would initiate some sort of conversation to make the tension less noticeable.

“i’m jeongin by the way,” the boy introduced, smiling at you cutely.

oh boy, you thought, cute smile? just end me now.

“y/n.” you couldn’t help but grin back.

“so you’re a counselor/c.i.t. for the older girls? how’s that?”

raising your eyebrows in thought, you shrugged, “it’s fine. the girl’s are super competitive with each other which is both a positive and a negative and they could be pretty bratty. but aside from that, it’s a fun job. You? you’re with the younger ones?”

“yeah,” jeongin hummed with a soft smile. “they’re just too dang cute! and they haven’t really grown enough to be complete troublemakers so they’re not that hard to deal with.”

the two of you talked about anything and everything that popped into your minds and for what felt like two minutes was actually much longer than that.

you arrived at the girls’ section of the campground and you involuntarily pouted. 

it was a shame you had to say bye to the cute boy. 

“i uh...hope i see you around?” jeongin stammered, the latter part of his statement sounding more like a question.

smiling back at him, you nodded, “you, too.”

and you did.

in fact, you almost saw the guy daily after that.

you often sneaked to the younger kids’ common area to find jeongin and to your content, most times he was there. other times, he would actually use his break to find you wherever you were.

“y/n!” he’d shout with glee, grinning widely when he saw you show up.

soon enough, fellow counselors would catch on to the two of you and your blossoming friendship and of course, they would ship.

“i saw your girlfriend today,” chan, who was a counselor for the older boys, teased his younger friend.

“hyung~” jeongin would whine, covering his flushed cheeks. 

unbeknownst to him, you were receiving the same pestering.

“you should come by more often,” minho blurted when you were randomly passing him by on one of the fields.

“huh?”

“jeongin does a really good job when you’re around...like he’s trying to impress you or something,” minho shrugging before smirking, “think about it.” and then he’d leave with a wink.

and to make things more embarrassing for the two of you, the campers started to catch on. 

“y/n and jeongin aren’t even counselors for the same group and they hang out all the time,” you once heard one of the older girls whisper in a hushed tone to another girl when you were walking along one of the camp trails.

“aren’t they cute together?!” the other girl shrieked causing you to choke on your own breath. then they’d snap their gaze to you and sheepishly giggle and scamper off.

you stood, blushing a bright red, with only one thought

i have to settle this between us

“so,” you mumbled, sitting on the opposite side of jeongin on the wooden cafeteria bench and table.

his head shot up like a deer in headlights and he was trying not to blush even being in your presence. 

“h-hey y/n!”

“what’s up?” your eyebrows were furrowed, noticing how nervous the boy looked.

“n-nothing. my hyungs just keep bothering me and i think it’s getting to me...”

groaning in remembrance, you rolled your eyes, “gosh, same. they sure like to tease me.”

“what did they tease you about?” jeongin piped, avoiding all eye contact with you.

“you,” your reply was blunt and you looked like you were hardly fazed.

but boy, were you shaking on the inside. 

“me?”

“mhm, something about visiting you more and making you happy,” you shrugged, pinching your thigh under the table to stop from grinning at the thought.

“oh...”

“you?”

“huh?”

“what do they bother you about?”

“yes! wait no, not like that. it does but...ugh,” jeongin covered his face with hands in frustration. 

“but?” 

“it’s just a reminder that you’re actually not.”

for the first time, jeongin turned to look at you dead in the eyes. 

“would...would you like me to be?” you mumbled, looking around the cafeteria, wondering if anyone was actually watching the cringey exchange.

and of course, his hyungs were your audience. 

half of them had there thumbs up, wearing wide grins and nods of encouragement.

the other half, well, they looked like they wanted to be anywhere else but there with their covered faces and scrunched up noses.

They were my first otp in the fandom and although I have fallen down a wlw hole that I will probably never come back from, they still mean the world to me and I am so excited for their events this year.2.)
