Queenstown is indeed, truly a magical place, especially with its breathtaking mountain views. It's no surprise that movies like Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter have chosen this location for their fantasy scenes!

The combination of stunning landscapes and vibrant scenery makes Queenstown a haven for filmmakers and fantasy lovers alike. How incredible it have been to walk in the footsteps of your favorite movie characters and witness these picturesque backdrops in person.

...And of course, the Onsen hot pool and spa experience!

I've heard so many rave reviews about it the reason, I came to experience!

The idea of relaxing and immersing oneself in these luxurious hot pools is absolutely divine. It's definitely a must-try for anyone visiting Queenstown.

He took me on a swanky dinner cruise on the T.S.S earnslaw ⚓ (read more about that in a previous post) and I took him to the @onsenhotpools 🛀 both of which produced less material waste than a typical Valentines day gift. Onsen is the place maybe nobody tells you about no-nos. There are two towels, simply big and small. Leave the big one at your room or locker and bring small one with you. We've had some unpleasant moments travelling last year but there were good moments as well. This is one of them. This was early spring where there was still some snow in the mountains but it wasn't too cold with the right clothing. We stayed in a old wooden room with its own traditional looking fireplace where the doors didn't even have a lock. They did give a short wooden stick where you can wedge it between the door and the wall to prevent it from opening.
