starting to keep an ongoing list of writing crimes being committed by the TBB writers. i charge them with Ignoring, Withholding, or Underdeveloping Certain On-screen Important Emotional Moments and/or Conversations
like
Echo finding out Fives is dead
Cody finding Rex listed as killed in action
Rex finding out Cody is still alive and has defected from the Empire
Crosshair finding out Tech is dead
the initial conversation(s) when Crosshair rejoins Hunter and Wrecker in S3; the awkward flight together to Pabu
Hunter and Wrecker's reaction to Omega turning herself over to the Empire to be taken to Tantiss again (and Crosshair allowing it to happen) (and finding out there isn't a tracker on the ship)
have i missed anything 😒

I love Obi dearly and while yes in some way people do write him a bit far off in fics but also at the same time I'm thinking like really have they really gone too far
I mean sure we know Obi is a strong capable guy and he can do things on his own accord without guidance or help but also if people do complain about how Obi is very ooc for having Anakin or Cody coming to his rescue all the time it's like you all do not remember the actual second prequel movie of his rescue scene though to say Anakin isn't any better but still point remains with Obi mainly

[ Nikke spoilers for mid September 2024 update mini story / my comments on it. ]
Closeted trans dudes dressing up at the family function like:
It's such a familiar scene, for family to see you dressing up out of obligation and then being like, 'Oh, NOW you're so beautiful, you should do this more often.' And internally, your body is screaming that it feels so wrong, why did you perform your perceived gender for this event! Or like, for me personally too, the whole missing the vibe of the event and dressing up way more than anyone else, and then feeling so out of place. I've joked before about Red Hood having older brother vibes, maybe she has trans vibes for me too now, lol.
Also, strange that Liliweiss is saying 'for the future' to Red Hood. Who, y'know, is basically terminally ill (corrupted). Red Hood doesn't 'have' a future, she just has the present and past. At this point in this mini-story thing (I'm assuming it takes place around the time of the Red Ash event), is Liliweiss aware of the plans to integrate Red Hood into Rapi, and therefore 'have' a future? Or am I just reading into this way too much? Lol. Just sounded like a really weird and inconsiderate thing to say to her.
-
That aside, why the fuck did y'all vote the dress over the other two Red Hood skins?! I'm so disappointed, the other two were way cooler and not out of character:
((I mean, I guess it's technically in-character since it's canon now, and has to do with 'old music' but c'mon, man...))
Image description below cut:
First image: Red Hood from Nikke: Goddess of Victory is in a strappy and revealing dress. It's the same colour as her hair. She's embarrassed and standing next to a gramophone, while holding a champagne glass. She is also wearing fingerless half-palm leather gloves. Text: Red Hood: Oh jeez, I can't do this! I just can't!
Next two images: Text: Dialogue:
Commander: You did well in that outfit.
Red Hood: Anything was better than staying at that party, even fighting raptures. I've never been so glad to have a bunch of them show up.
Rapunzel: Your dress is all dirty, though. And the hem is all torn...
Red Hood: Who cares? It's not like I'm going to be wearing this ever again.
Liliweiss: Why not? I thought you'd be keeping it for the future.
Red Hood: No thanks. Not a chance.
Snow White: That's too bad. At least I finally got to see you all dressed up. Can I at least take a picture for posterity?
Red Hood: Absolutely not. I don't want to leave any evidence of this humiliating sight.
Last three images are the Red Hood skins/appearances that we voted on. First image is the feminine dress with the gramophone mentioned before, which won the poll. Second image is Red Hood on a motorcycle with a leather jacket, crop top, mini shorts, and thigh highs. Third image is Red Hood standing next to a wolf, and she is wearing form-fitted high-rise pants, a strappy harness bra-top and collar, and a cropped blazer.

I'd like to think its Generally Agreed Upon by Mol and her ragtag group of rapscallions that Zevlor is off limits for any amount of shenanigans. It's good sense at least, and at most he's protecting them when no one will. Silfy adores him, because she's really only in it because she cares for her brother. I like the idea that Silfy follows Zevlor around like a lost duckling when she calls it quits on pickpocketing. // ANONYMOUS
I would say that might be the case as well, if only because, while exploring the Underdark, I found this letter in a bottle:
And ever since then I have just had this headcanon that Zevlor is one of the ones who spoke with the little ones who were orphaned. Did his best to explain to each on their own comprehension level what had happened, why their parents weren't there. Why they wouldn't be ever again. And comforted them. [ Even if it was one of the hardest things he's ever done. ]
I also think he was the one who charged Asharak with protecting the kids.
[ What's more, while this goes more with @spareastory who I'm still getting set up, I think Asharak had been a weapons instructor for the Hellriders, which is why he's the one who takes it upon himself to teach the kids, give them some peace of mind, or at least give them even the smallest hope that they could protect themselves even if the adults couldn't protect them, for whatever reason.
I also think, as another aside, that Asharak gave Guex his own armor from his Hellrider days after Guex was traumatized by what happened to the young Tiefling, to the point that he decided he had to learn how to fight. "You need it more than I do, my friend, if you're to become a skilled fighter. If I have need of armor, I can find something when we reach the Gate." ]
Anyway, Zevlor always checked in with the kids and put on a brave front for them, tried to reassure them—just like he does with everyone else—and he talked to Asharak regularly about what he needed in order to help the kids, was there anything else he could do to help, etc, which would no doubt explain if Mol did, in fact, have him as 'off limits'. She seems to repay kindness in kind, to look after those who look out for her and hers. [ Which is why it hurts her so much when Zevlor 'gives up' during the ambush. "Zevlor had hope. Where'd it get him?" I believe was the gist. ]
And, oh goodness, Anon. The image of Silfy following Zevlor around is just too cute! I feel like he has such Dad vibes. When he realizes she's following, he always walks slower for her, and if they're going through a densely crowded area, he'll offer her his hand.
"Come along, Silfy. We don't want you getting lost in this crowd."

||. Thinking quietly about Thor and his friends. How they all filled a space in him and outside of him that Thor needed fulfilled... The most obvious being in the group's battle formation, but even outside of that too.
Volstagg with his jolly nature helping Thor keep morale up, being the glue that keeps the warriors together, especially when it comes to making group compromises and hard decisions.
Hogun with his straight-laced practicality , the way he'd be able to offer an outside perspective to Asgard's ways — something invaluable to Thor.
Fandral for all of his apparent womanizing likely keeping up with the courts of Asgard and so Thor would be in the know in a much more close manner through what Fandral knows, and what he's able to find out in Thor's stead. And he's quite personable, in a manner much more suited to crowds than Thor... so that makes the finding of information that much easier, and quicker to relay. (Thor may be a prince, but he's also got Homeschooler Energy out the wazzoo.)
Thinking about Sif and Thor being something of childhood friends... Or as close to childhood friends as someone like Thor can have, when you live in a palace your whole life and are largely confined to its walls with your tutors and your parents and your brother for company keep. But Sif would be the exception, I'd imagine, if indeed she is of noble birth the way I'd suspect it.... and Thor and Sif would have gotten along splendidly, especially once he finds out her desire to become a shield-maiden, and then that leads into learning about the Valkyrie, and of course then Thor would want Sif to be HIS Valkyrie, because of all the people who are mighty and brave and compassionate, and who would then deserve to be his esteemed commander of guard, surely why WOULDN'T it be Lady Sif?
And of course there's Loki, who completes many of Thor's loose ends and falterings in plenty of ways, but that's it's own story and its own post for a different time.
Thor picked his warriors well and he picked them wisely. There's not a single quest or mission they can't overcome because each of their strengths buoy the other's weaknesses. Together, when in sync, they're all six of them a well-oiled machine, and it's really no wonder that they, together, become "Asgard's Finest", and it's really no wonder that they were all to be Thor's council as King. (If only all of them lived...)

Picturing Chakotay forever upset about the Threshold thing and Tuvok forever amused by it. (Janeway is just over it)
Starfleet Command: So...the warp ten incident.
Janeway: -sighs-
Chakotay: -already glaring at Tuvok who has steepled his fingers in his meditative pose-
Tuvok: Yes the...warp ten incident........I apologize. It is...difficult to discuss.
Chakotay: -glare intensifies-
Janeway: -looking out the window-
Starfleet Command: Of course. Please, take your time. It must have been quite unsettling.
Chakotay: If it unsettles you so much Tuvok please don’t feel pressured to continue.
Tuvok: (ignoring him) I actually believe the commander is more knowledgeable on the subject than I. His report was quite illuminating. Have you read it?
Chakotay: I don’t think they need to rea-
Tuvok: I believe they should read it. To get the ‘full picture’.
Janeway: Maybe they can read the commander’s report later. We wouldn’t want to trouble them wit-
Tuvok: -pulls a PADD from his bag- I have taken the liberty of bringing the report with me.
Chakotay: -teeth grit- Wow. How thoughtful of you.
Tuvok: -staring him dead in the eye as he hands it over to the brass- Thank you. You will also note I have highlighted several passages of interest.
Chakotay: Of course you did.

I always cry thinking that when Sayuri strips her bondage, from the length of her long hair, to the bindings on her hands, there is no protest. Only a small kiss on the forehead as the Aunts wish her well, knowing they could not contain her or ever hope to, she is greater than a mere assassin for hire or a Geiko who dances to thrill a crowd. Their fear is confirmed, none of them were equipped to handle the magnitude of a being strong willed like her, but she wishes them well, knowing it is the end of her hiding behind the notoriety of such a name. Now, she must walk alone, into a death battle that would grant her the strength to stand again && find merit in the depths of her own hideous cruelty.
