Thoughts that I wanted to share about the brothers Hawthorne/ the grandest game bc I don’t wanna make a million posts about each one 💀

1: Phone girls dad literally shot himself ON. HER. BIRTHDAY. 😭😭

2: Skye Hawthorne MIGHT be in the grandest game, because when Avery got bombed and Ricky and skye got arrested for it, they found out that it actually wasn’t them which means they prob got out of jail (maybe not Ricky but probably skye) and she might be controlling one of the players

3: WE’LL PROBABLY GET TO SEE A SUNSHINE X GRUMPY TROPE!! (Mathias and Gigi)

4: we’ll see which 7 contestants avery will pick for the game!! (While I was writing that instead of contestants I accidentally put tributes 💀)

5: we might learn more about Toby’s backstory (or just the Hawthorne backstories in general, like Zara’s, nans or Alice’s)

6: speaking of Alice, SOMEHOW THAT OLD GRANDMAS GOING TO BE ALIVE

7: this isn’t really a prediction but more just like a possible hint for the grandest game, but when grayson tells his brothers about the riddle “what begins a bet? Not that”, Jameson says this

He says “what’s the opposite of a handshake?” And I found a picture online that shows multiple different options of what could be the opposite of a handshake

Basically most of the words on there kind of show “misinterpretation” or just different words for some sort of mistake, so would that mean that the “beef” (im just gonna call it that bc I don’t rlly know what went down) between tobias and thomas thomas was maybe accidental?? Or maybe they got into a disagreement that ended in thomas ending his life? All the book really shows is that one paragraph (that I highlighted in green) that talks about what Jameson thought of the riddle, and then Jameson was talking to Avery about the game (probs bc jlb didn’t wanna drop too many hints lmao) And then if you add it in with the “abet” theory ⬇️

It said that one of the opposites of a handshake were “refusal” and “disagreement”, so what if tobias had wanted thomas to aid one of his crimes and thomas refused, and maybe tobias gave him an ultimatum which is why he shot himself?? It’s so confusing bc what would tobias even do that was so horrible that thomas had to shoot himself, I really don’t know. but if anyone has some theory’s on this pls lmk! 🫶

8: holy guacamole 7 was a long one, but anyway i feel like there are definitely more hints on the grandest game in the brothers Hawthorne then there were in the final gambit, even though in (i think tig is the one that clue was from?) the inheritance games “special” edition bc idk what their called it said “hints in the final gambit”. (although one loose end from tig was David Golding, and @riddles-n-games had a good theory about that) But i read the final gambit entirely and didn’t find a single clue other than David, so that’s kinda weird (unless somebody else found something else they found interesting in that book?)

9: Eve might also be behind one of the players, or just trying to get involved with the game so she could get the cash prize or whatever else it is that that psycho needs 🙄

10: we’ll (most likely, bc I’m 99.9% sure that she’ll be in tgg) see what phone girl looks like and see which one of us were right 😜

11: kinda random but i will bet a whole 5 dollars that phone girls name is either gonna be flower related, or just straight up be lily. Or maybe both, but just think of how ironic that would be (there are calla lilys all over the cover of tgg… 🤷‍♀️)

13: so off topic but WHERE DO GRAYSON AND JAMESON GET THEIR MONEY FROM??? like I’m sure jameson probably gets some cash from his billionaire girlfriend, but what about grayson?? he says in tbh that he’s “buried in work” but what kind of work does he do?? and who does he work for?? 🤨

14: Okay this is gonna be the last one bc i need to shut up, but does anybody have an idea on what some things in the grandest game cover might symbolize? we know about the lilys and the opal rings, but other than that i CANT seem to figure out anything else on there 😭😭

Found Family!AU *Christmas Addition*

Because I’m in a hella big Christmas Mood(Tm) and I talked a lot with @hiddenbyfaeries over this.

Hi yes, Gym Leader Opal is now Ash’s Great Aunt on Giovanni’s side

And also Reluctant Great Uncle Kabu is a thing as well

So like imagine little bby Ash and Gary flying to Galar with Daisy and Delia to see Graunty Opal to make a bunch of deserts for the other Galar league officials

And Grunkle Kabu gets pulled into the shenanigans and there’s so many pictures of all the younger kids covered in flour while a younger Opal and Kabu stand on the outer side of the group smiling and laughing

even tho Rose wasn’t a chairman just yet

He was shadowing the older head Chairman who Ash and Gary absolutely adored but Ash hated Rose with a passion

But just imagine Ash leaving for his journies and both he and Gary couldn’t help make cookies but they would face time Graunty Opal and Grunkle Kabu the day of Christmas together if the two boys could

But then Ash and Gou get sent to Galar for some mission or something and Opal and Kabu find out and kinda abduct the two for baking time

And Opal does the grandma thing where they guilt trip poor Gary into coming down

And THEN Bede joins in

And suddenly there’s posts from the gym leaders and Bedes acc

And everyone is like “wait WHAT!?”

Because no one knew that Opal and Kabu even had an inkling of any other family members

besides Opal having Bede but their not even technically family and a lot of people just thought that Opal was even around Bede just to train the kid enough so that the boy could take over her gym

But then everyone realize’s its fucking Champion Ash Ketchum and most of the worlds new found favorite Professor Gary Oak

Bede just brags about meeting Ash and Gary but quickly gets embarrassed because both Opal and Kabu coo over them and take a shit time of pictures to post on their rarely used Twitter and Pokegram

So Rose comes down with Leon, and Hop who was tagging along with his older brother, and Oleana bc they were Christmas shopping for their respected families together

So the. Leon gets Piers and Marnie to come as well

And all three kids kinda freak out bc there’s Leon but also ASH KETCHUM and GARY OAK

But Ash and Gary are both glaring daggers and Rose who does them back bc he still remembers the twerps after ten years still

But then Raihan and the younger Trainers got into this little fight on who can take the best Christmas picture with Ash, Gary, and Gou

And then it becomes this kind of... contest???

Where all the Gym leaders + plus the kids would try and get the most Christmas themed picture with Ash, Gary, and Gou

Even Oleana gets in it a little with a picture here and there but it’s usually with just a single person out of the trio

Like a picture of Oleana and Gary out and about with some coffee/got chocolate and they look like their Christmas shopping

A picture with Ash and her looking cute in matching Christmas sweaters by an outside fire place that looks like it’s back behind Kabu’s house

And surprisingly a picture of Her and Gou sharing a large scarf eating candy canes while watching Gary tripping over his feet on an ice rink while Ash laughed while helping him up

But like there’s a picture Leon posts on his Twitter of The trio with the little ones looking for a Christmas tree with an added video of Ash and Gary calling each other thots and other names while disagreeing with what tree they should get while Gou and the kids are laughing in the back ground.

Raihan post a picture with Melony teaching Gary and Alister how to sled down a hill properly while Ash, Gou, and Bae pelt each other with snowballs at the bottom

Nessa posts a picture with the gang + the other gym leader + Marnie and Sonia showing off their nails that were all Christmas themed decorated

And everyone else is just e a t I n g this up

And it hits the national news and every one who knows Ash and Gary are just laughing

Then Ash’s Legendary™️ bs starts uo

So Opal post pictures and videos of the Trio playing in the snow with the Legendary Doggo’s and it’s the most like/shared/retweeted post she ever had

Opal and Kabu win though because they posted a side by side picture of the four + Daisy during their first Christmas baking session and the newest picture of the four + Gou

And Daisy ReTweets with the words “I’VE BEEN REPLACED!!!!” But it’s all in good humor

Delia finds all the pictures taken while the three are up in Galar and prints them all out and past’s them in multiple scrap books with older pictures that were taken in some places during past Christmas and that would be Opals and Kabus New Years present when Delia could finally come back up there to celebrate with everyone else

But then there’s pictures of Ash and Gary teaching Gou and the three younger trainers how to make perfect cookies and other deserts

And it’s posted to Ash’s AND Gary’s account with the words:

“Teaching the new family generation how to make the best Christmas desserts! ❤️”

And their all covered in frosting, flour, other cooking stuff

And just Christmas fluff that gives everyone more insight into Ash’s and Gary’s life

God now I can imagine Ash bringing like a shit ton of his friends who don’t have good families to a party a few days before Christmas and both Opal and Kabu just adopts them all

Opal teaching Gladion, Ritchie, and Cilan how to make traditional Christmas cakes while Kabu teaches Lillie, Alain, and a few others how to properly decorate and wrap Christmas presents

ALL OUT SNOWBALL WAR!!!!

It happens exactly at 12 in the morning

Ash comes bounding down the halls with the younger trainers (Max, Bonnie, Marnie, Bede, Hop, and a few more people) from outside with the war cry of “MERRY CHRISTMAS FUCKERS!!!!”

They bust into the rooms of people who get worked up the easiest and p e l t them in snowballs

Everyone gets into this since they were all staying and Opals mansion because it’s the only resident that could hold them all

Kabu is the only one out of the very older part of the family to get into the fight

Agatha, Delia, and Opal choose not to be apart in favor of recording and taking a lot of pictures

But everyone’s dressed I. Their winter gear and PJ’s screaming and having so much fun

That the war last HOURS until everyone’s near freezing to death

Then they would all go back and change into warmer Pajamas and the three women who stayed out would disperse hot chocolate and drinks with a bit of alcohol to the older trainers and parents/siblings who can drink

Ash and Gary would be determined that Opal and Kabu go first on opening their presents under the massive 20 something-foot tree

But that’s on the actual Christmas Day

Before that Opal, Kabu, and Melony would drag the trio and the younger trainers (like Alister, Bonnie, Max, the Alola crew and a few more kids) to go see the giant 40 foot tree in the town square near Opals gym light up

Then they would split up and go to different kinds of shops and meet back up for dinner somewhere

46. Have they ever won a contest before? If so, what for? What did they win?

Pick: I guess it has to be his fights in the Zoo, huh? He was the ‘champion’ of the blood pits. So you know, congrats you killed all your friends better than they could kill you. And he won...not dying, I guess. And people clapped for him and like would throw coins or flowers and stuff at him yknow...or food...

Opal: Doesn’t really compete in things, but personally I like to think he’s winning the contest of life bc he’s the dnd character that’s living the happiest life for the longest LOL

Guile: He was a really good fisherman back on his island! Fishing was really what their community thrived on, and Guile was particularly fond and good at spear fishing- that’s why he’s so good at throwing darts!!! Meanwhile yes he’s won a couple dart throwing contests at his local Saltmarsh bar, haha!

47. If the world were to end in 24 hours, where would they be and who would they be with?

Pick: Would like to be with Anders in just some nice scenic natural place, a forest on a hill overlooking the horizon, probably. But he doesn’t think that’s realistic so he’d want to be with the party including Callie in waterdeep or neverwinter, a pretty city. Specifically holding Callie’s hand while squished between ida and kai

Opal: Wants to be where he is most needed, probably among people that are suffering or fearful of the end, easing them and spending time with them to make them calm and ready for it. Or...yknow out there trying to stop the end of the world, he’d do that to. He kinda likes the world you know.

Guile: Is conflicted. He wants to be home with his mother and family if he knew that the end of the world was coming, he’d want to see their faces. But on the other hand a different part of him wants to be alone on a boat, just heading towards the horizon as he watches the last sunset at the edge of the world.

49. If they could have an extinct animal for a pet, what would they have?

Pick: Does a dinosaur count? One because is it an “animal” and two they’re not extinct in dnd so...? Anyway pick wants to ride a velociraptor. OR OHHH A SABERTOOTH TIGER YEAAAA

Opal: Would love to just return the simple dodo. They were nice, and animals being extinct would really fuck him up pretty badly so he’d say all of them. He wouldn’t keep it as a pet though, he’d want it to be free. Maybe get some true resurrection to bring those species back yknow.

Guile: The Pinta Island Tortoise! Turtles and Tortoises are some of his favorite animals and they’re just nice and mellow and Guile is just a vsco bitch sksksksksksksksksk 

91. Do they have a place that can go and turn off their brain?

Pick: Not really anymore, I think his brain is like mine and it really just does not stop, but it also doesn’t bother him that much, he likes always being able to think. I think his brain turns off more when he’s really active and doing things rather than having a quiet place. In fact, I’d say his brain is the most quiet during battle, he’s just on autopilot.

Opal: Opal finds peace in most places, both natural and urban, quiet and loud. Zemtris is the “sound between the sound” so normally total silence is never possible. Zemtris is the whispered words in between the plucks of a bards strings, between the chirps of crickets and whistles of wind, between the lightning and the thunder of a storm. He walks through graveyards or forests, or in towns sits in bars and just listens to all the background noise until it becomes static and he’s at peace.

Guile: Honestly goes away while he’s writing, mentally. The only character of the three that I would say has a “mind palace” so to speak. He is very meditative in his private life, often in his home or away from people, but most commonly at the shores where waves are crashing against the sand and rocks. Mechanics wise when guile meditates to get his ki points back he has to imagine the ocean or waves, and controls his breathing to be like water. All of his monk abilities are very water themed so I would say that either writing or meditation on the shore he can turn off.

94. Do they take criticism well?

Pick: Inherently defensive for sure, I mean he’s the most like me, and I used to be really defensive. But I wanted him to be like that so that as he gets older and learns he calms himself and takes criticism a lot better. But he tries to just not do things that can give him criticism in the first place so I don’t think he’s had to face it too much. Depending on what someone is critiquing him on he could just as easily just own up to it.

Opal: His life is criticism, really nothing someone can say to him will really phase him, he’s more aligned to just agree with whatever anyone says about him and move on so that they can feel better about themselves, even if it wasn’t true. He’s non confrontational by nature and doesn’t really...care what people thinks of him, he cares what people think of themselves, so if they’re going to say that Opal has done something wrong he’ll just agree and then reflect on it himself later and decide if its true or not.

Guile: Criticism of his character he probably is going to let just slide off his back because a lot of his character is you know...fake. So if you’re critiquing him of something it’s probably something he wants you to critique him on anyway, he manipulates what people think about him, he wants to be forgettable or even untrustworthy sometimes so that people just leave him alone. Where you really get him is critiquing his writing (and eventually drawing I think...I believe painters tools proficiency is on its way) because he is much more “real” on the page and you could really help or hurt him by analysis of what he creates rather than what he is.

AIDAN: Well, this was going splendidly!

It wasn’t. Not that he was surprised. This time travel was tricky stuff. They’d done their readings, of course. All the classics: 11/22/63 by Stephen King, The Sirens of Titan by Kurt Vonnegut, A Wrinkle in Time, of course; The Anubis Gates, a real thing, according to their research; The Time Machine by H.G. Wells. Bell had insisted on that one. They’d studied sorcery too. Time rifts. Portals. The Underworld (not that either of them had ever been there, even if Xan was half convinced it was their birthright). 

In the end, it’d been Uncle Howl who’d figured out most of it. Theoretically. And then, not so theoretically. It’d been a miracle they’d made it back, though too late to fix anything. They’d missed the vow renewals. Overshot themselves and now…

They were working from scratch, trying to figure out where their parents were in time. In their relationship. Which was weird and difficult and they hadn’t exactly made any progress yet. Xan was still surprised every time he ran into his dad in the office. Looking--younger and more…alive than he’d ever looked to Xan. Every time he’d ever seen him throughout his childhood, he’d always looked…gaunt and slightly terrifying. 

Now, he smiled. At Xan sometimes. It was weird. Part of him kept wanting to challenge him to a staring contest, wondering if he’d figure it out. Dad was smart, wasn’t he? He’d figure it out. But every time Xan looked for too long, he chickened out and ducked away. 

Today--

He might’ve blown it. Dad wasn’t supposed to figure out who they were. That would ruin the whole…plan. 

Xan flopped into the tent on the edge of Enchantra, just a mile from the cottage, and groaned into his pillow. Bell was already back from his shift at Chapter Three.

“I hope you had a better day than I had because--I had a terrible day,” he lamented and then  flipped onto his back, staring up at the worn canvas of the tent. “I heard Dad ranting to Uncle Simba about [insert whatever they’re calling Lou bc I still am not SURE is it just his name??? Do they call him Tonton just bc Opal still called him that???].” 

BELL: Yup– this was a disaster. 

Bellamy had assumed it was going to be a disaster. They’d studied and studied and most of their mentor texts pointed to all sorts of time hi-jinks being, yeah, total disasters. But Xan was stubborn. So was Bell. And what was the worst that could happen? A complete collapse of the time-space continuum? 

Sure. 

But it was one thing when disaster was hypothetical and another when it was reality. And that reality had set its teeth in now. Every time he’d walked into Chapter Three, he’d started sweating from every orifice, jumping like a twitchy cat. Nothing looked the way he remembered it, nothing was the way it should be– his one place of refuge transformed into a landmine of mistakes and consequence. It sucked, and now Bell couldn’t even distract himself with a good book. Cruel irony, eh? He supposed he’d asked for that when he twisted time and landed his arse in the past. 

He was glum, trudging back to camp. He felt sick to his stomach. Some of that was probably their unbalanced diet. Xan was a bad cook. Bell was even worse. 

Well, maybe Xan would have good news? 

Xan flopped down and immediately groaned. 

Or not. Cool. 

Bell glanced up from his notebook, where he’d just been doodling little swirls all over the page. “Wait, maybe– that’s a good thing? You found out where he was?” 

They technically knew where he was (Paris) but it was nice to get confirmation… that so far things were going according to the timeline they were actively trying to prevent. Looking on the positive side, one could take that as a sign that they had not collapsed the time-space continuum– yet. 

There was always tomorrow. 

AIDAN: “Yeah, he’s definitely in Paris. That’s not the point. The point is Dad saw me. Like--actually saw me.” 

Mostly, Hades had looked right through Xan at this point. Well, he’d looked at him, obviously. He had this sharp, assessing kind of gaze that made Xan want to squirm. Not because he was worried about being discovered but because…well, he wanted to impress him. This wasn’t an unusual feeling for Xan. He wanted to impress everyone. That was his goal in most situations in his life. It was…just…he’d never really had a dad to impress before. 

And his dad didn’t even know he was his dad! 

“Like looked at me for a reallllllly long time. Which could have to do with the fact I accidentally kind of…fell into his office and he could totally tell I was eavesdropping. I think I am gonna get fired and it hasn’t even been a week!” 

At least Uncle Simba had seemed sympathetic. He had also laughed at him so…he wasn’t sure if he was friend or foe at this point. 

Xan threw an arm over his face, ears bright red. “He was really pissed, though. Not at me. Well, yeah--at me, but mostly at Toulouse. I have no idea what we came back to…but it isn’t good.” 

BELL: Bell was certain that Xan was exaggerating. Xan did that. So did Opal. He was certain that he was the only person in his family that ever had an appropriately sized reaction to most situations. After all, going back in time to fix their parents’ marriage wasn’t Bell’s idea. Neither was running away to Paris to live with Toulouse. He had simply been ready to accept his dose of childhood trauma and grow into a maladapted semi-recluse adult as destiny warranted. 

That was probably why it was good he did have Xan– Bell could admit that too. 

Anyway, he was here to curb Xan when he started overreacting, like now. Uncertainty prickled in his own stomach but he decided to keep writing that off as lack of a well-rounded diet. Everything was fine, or fine-ish, or else certainly they would have received some sign about it, right? 

“Well– yeah. We knew it wasn’t going to be good,” said Bell, though he frowned deeply. Originally, they had wanted to come when things were… semi-good, at least. This was definitely worse than they imagined. 

It also didn’t help that Bell knew nothing about romance. That had been an oversight. 

“But being mad means he cares, right? That’s– that’s good. And anyway, Mum’s seen me loads now and doesn’t suspect a thing. As long as Dad doesn’t also see me, we’re good. We should just– stick to the plan.” 

He tried to sound confident, like Xan. But that was Xan’s area of expertise. 

AIDAN: “What plan?” Aidan lamented, throwing up his hands. 

It was true, though, to some extent. They didn’t really have a plan except to fix things. To come back before Toulouse left and make sure he stayed, but they’d already messed that up, hadn’t they? Sure, the leaving was still fresh, but he was gone. From what he knew of Toulouse Bonfamille, convincing him to do nearly anything was impossible. 

Aidan missed Opal. She’d be able to convince him. His big sister could do anything. Which was one of the reasons he admired her, while also finding her extremely infuriating. He had missed her for years now. That was part of why they were doing this anyway. They wanted Opal back too. He had to keep that in mind. 

“He is already gone.” Aidan rolled over on his side so he could scowl at his brother. “And, according to Dad, he left because Dad and Maman weren’t paying any attention to him. That doesn’t sound familiar at all, does it? It’s this family’s whole problem! No one pays attention to anything or anyone but themselves! How are we supposed to convince them to take him back if he’s not even in the same country? And they don’t even know who we are?” 

These questions were not said desperately. They were genuine. Aidan’s brain turned over these questions like they were puzzle pieces. Or chess pieces. He was good at chess. Bellamy was too, when he had the patience for it. Problem was: so were their parents. They would know when they were being manipulated.

“Maybe we should, uhm, try to get someone on our side? Like…an adult? Uncle Howl? Auntie Ella? Auntie Xuemei? Uncle Simba and Ber? That way they can…talk to them?” 

BELL: Er, right. Very true that the plan had fallen apart instantly after getting here and realizing… exactly… when… they’d arrived. 

Well, Uncle Howl did say that time travel spells were often tricky little buggers, prone to acting the way they wanted to act. This could mean that they’d actually ended up going to the exact moment that they needed to, even if they’d determined otherwise. 

More likely it just meant they were already fucked. Bell would give up, but he didn’t exactly know how to give up anyway. Traveling back was one thing… traveling forward, another. 

So… 

Bell bit down on his lip, not really sure how to comfort Xan when that had never been his strong suit. He was not the Ideas person. But he wracked his brain as Xan rambled, trying to at least find any bit of good news to share with his brother… oh wait, Xan was coming up with something! Phew, that was close. 

He nodded enthusiastically. He was not the Ideas person. But he was a great sidekick. Cheerleader, er, type. 

“Right! Yeah, I think that’s a good idea. I’m uh– I think I’m actually friends with Amity Blight now?” Bell tilted his head, a queasy expression passing over his face like a dark cloud, and then lifting the next second as he shook his head. He was trying not to think too hard about these things. Yeah, Amity was his boss in the future, but this probably wasn’t going to mess anything up… 

If he got back to the future and he didn’t have a job at Chapter Three anymore, he would kill Xan though. He would kill him a lot. 

“So there’s that? Maybe she could help. Or um, Auntie Xuemei’s great with secrets! I bet she wouldn’t even blink if we told her everything.” 

AIDAN: Amity Blight…could be helpful but she was what? Their age? How well did she even know their parents at this point? Aidan tried to think back on what all his mum had told him about Amity’s relationship with the family. It had all started with a demon, he knew that. And, if his job at Town Hall had any impression of the current demon situation…that was pretty recent. Which meant…Amity’s relationship with their parents was recent.

Also, she was a teenager.

They needed like…an adult.

Which left Auntie Xuemei. Who was also a bit of a mystery. It wasn’t like his mum had ever mapped out the exact details of how she became friends with all her friends! And, besides, part of the problem they’d come back to fix was the fact that Maman didn’t have any friends. She had given up any sort of social life, except where Kristoff (gag) was concerned. Which meant that Bell and him weren’t super duper close with Auntie Xuemei, but they had been…when they’d been younger. So, it stood to reason that they had not fallen out quite yet. 

“Yeah, Auntie Xuemei is gonna be our best bet, I think,” Aidan said, as confidently as one could about the manner of time travel. 

“She’s still at the Hauntley from what everyone in Town Hall says so…it shouldn’t be too hard to find her, right? Right. Should we uh…go tomorrow or…?”

BELL: Hmm, great question. Why was Xan asking him though? Xan made the decisions here. Bell simply made him feel better about his decisions. Or sometimes he’d make a few comments to amend, slightly, the decision. Maybe that’s what Xan was asking for– a ballpark time period. Bell didn’t appreciate the question anyway, since he didn’t want the eventual break in the universe to be his fault. Xan, on the other hand, could handle that pressure.

“Uh,” he started then. “Uh.” 

Yup, going well. 

He sighed and looked up, as if doing mental calculations. Well, okay. They’d been here a few weeks. Toulouse still wasn’t back from France. He’d heard about Marie Bonfamille’s boutique opening up soon, and no way would Toulouse miss that, even if he was sour with their parents. They had to take advantage of that… keep him in place… find a way to trap him here longer… so they could then also trap Hades, Bell and Lou in another place…

Auntie Xuemei could help with all of that. She could come up with a reason that Bell and Aidan couldn’t!

Right, mental calculation complete. 

This was why he liked history, by the way.

Bell glanced back to his brother, waiting eagerly– impatiently. “Yes,” he said. “We should. We should uh, tell her– we should use the upcoming boutique grand opening as a way to get to Toulouse. I’m sure Auntie Xuemei’s invited. So– tomorrow.” He nodded.

there'll be group and solo dates with each and every single contestant/per week;

if i receive more sims than expected, they shall be divided in different households randomly;

each week, one or two sims will leave the challenge according to friendship/romance bar levels;

i won't be doing official ceremonies, dialogues and no poses shall be used. the game will be as organic as possible and 100% spontaneous;

Hello! Did I just make a cute new founder on a whim and decide I need to host a BC for her?. Yes, yes I did. I do currently have an unfinished BC for my sim Cordial, which I plan to finish playing and posting at some point. Just not immediately.

The Dragonlace save will be a Berry Pastel Rainbowcy, if you could not tell by the traits. lol So this will be a BC with lots of pink and purple. You don’t have to go with the Law Enforcement Career if you don’t want to though.

The Requirements

Must be a YA pink and/or purple berry.

Opal is a lesbian, but female presenting non-binary people are welcome.

Occults are welcome.

Any LTW not focused on in the BPR challenge is fine.

Evelyn Marsh is a doctor that has recently finished her residency at a local hospital. She decided to take a short break before looking for a new job to focus on herself and possibly find love. When she came across an ad for Valerie Mayfield’s Bachelorette Challenge, Evelyn thought it was the chance at love she was looking for! Even if she and Valerie are not meant to be, it would be a nice change of pace before going back to work.

Evelyn spends her spare time cooking up a storm in her kitchen. Friends and family love coming over when she has been cooking, since it is always really tasty. It would probably come as a surprise to you then that her favorite food is Mac ‘n’ Cheese. You can do a lot with it whether it is just some boxed stuff or a fancy one made from scratch.
