LITERARY: A Hero’s Evolution

How awestruck, the young. 

Kapow! Woosh! You best believe it! Super strength, falcon-wit make all the thieves quit With every evil plot or plane falling from the sky Heroes so enthralling show all doubt, they defy

To dash like lightning, dent cold steel, Reach the moon, talk to animals, all things surreal That’s what I want to do — be a hero, save the day I’ll defeat every villain, keep their senseless schemes at bay!

How overlooked, the dutiful.

Not all heroes wear capes, they say Always to the rescue with no repay Teachers, farmers, and healthcare workers Each one has a power yet to be discovered

Standing up for their rights They make sure to put up a good fight To be a lifelong inspiration That’s my new operation

How forsaken, the crooked.

Though akin to every hero is their inability To save and protect everything and everybody But what happens to those unfortunate ones? Those wronged but never rescued, of them, what becomes?

As one’s mind matures, they begin to see How those evil-doers and black hats truly came to be Once people, like each and every one of us But hapless fates filled them with rage and disgust

How refined, the gallant.

A new breed of hero is what the world calls for Not titans of lore nor strongmen of yore— But those that don’t revel in glory galore And for those left neglected would swear to do more

This plea, I heed to chase dreams matured With blaze made brighter and kindness assured

How are they not giving them enough time? They're not rushing these shows out, took nearly two years to get another season of Wheel of Time and looks like it will be just as long, if not longer, for Rings of Power. Whether you like these shows or not, saying they the studio is rushing them out is just nonsense.

But we don't know that. And with how Sonic had touched everyone's lives, I doubt the others didn't pick up on his tendency to forgive where forgiveness is due.

But still, thinking Nine would be alone doesn't sit right with me but again it's an assumption . Not necessarily a fact. Sure Sonic made them all promise to leave him peacefully in his new home at Grim but it shouldn't automatically mean he remains alone

One day I'm literally gonna snap and make a whole post addressing why what's wrong bc I'm tired of the inaccuracy and tired of ppl not understanding the Point TM of IDW and its version of the Matrix/Primacy and even more tired of people putting down Optimus in favor of Rodimus by essentially arguing that being unworthy means you deserve to be punished/put in pain bc you just weren't good enough to hold the Symbol of Ultimate Authority

An old friend saw me and offered me a ride, then we made plans for cookies and tea this weekend.

I have to ask how each of the routes went, how did sentinel get rid of the artifact, how did he fail to get rid of it, why did he somehow fuse

I admit my favorite route is the "he gets rid of the artifact and the changes cease" Route

If he gets rid of the artifact, its with the help of someone (probably Jazz, but I've toyed around with other characters too) helps Sentinel gets the world's shittiest dinky little ship, exactly the type of transaction where the seller isn't asking questions, and upon reaching earth I'm getting the distinct image of Sentinel literally throwing the artifact into the deepest hole he can find (deeper than the original mine)

Now, I'm imagining that Sentinel since getting the artifact has been on a ticking clock on the outer god sort of consuming / corrupting his psyche in order to make him a more fit tool for the job that is gaining sacrifices. This is why in the bad ending / sparkeater ending he's just... Not quite Sentinel anymore. His save has been overwritten and glitched. So it was a matter of not being able to get rid of it fast enough before he was in too much of an altered state of mind.

Now, I'd assume that in the fusion route he's sort of slowly sacrificed to Nyarlathotep who has been already drawing off of not only the victims but Sentinel himself, and idk whether to interpret this as "Sentinel directly becomes his new avatar" or "Sentinel squishes into his current avatar like two clay balls"

Maybe for the sparkeater route he decides Sentinel is better as a mindless puppet and maybe in the fusion route he decides Sentinel is better as a snack and/or new body to more directly control

but right now, fuck amazon and prime video in particular because at least netflix is pretty damn consistent and reliable on the most basic of accessibility options such as subtitles/captions actually syncing to their damn videos and not making it all but impossible to report playback and accessibility issues when they occur

i'm genuinely, legit excited to watch good omens season 2 here soon--except that if it's yet another show where at minimum random episodes are completely and entirely out of sync, i probably won't be able to watch it anyways
