Since eye colors [presumably] can't change the way hair colors do, do they represent a more fundamental, core aspect of a rose's identity/personality, or are eyes related to something else entirely? Because you've hinted a couple times that they mean SOMETHING. Also, would a rose reject colored eye contacts the same way they reject hair dye?

Been biting my tongue a little about this, but since I've now shared some basic facts about Rose biology, I think I can now share this without sounding completely insane! Eye color has nothing to do with your personal magic or identity...

But it DOES relate to your family's color and identity >:3 Also no, eye contacts function perfectly normally. There's no magic in your eyes that want to fight and be seen. But you need special connections to get contacts in the first place, so a Rose wearing them is not very common or likely.

one fun speech quirk rouxls has is that he very rarely refers to other characters by their actual name, instead by whatever nickname/insult/…title, i guess? he comes up with. the only exception i can find (although i may be wrong, im not very good at searching the dialogue dump admittedly and REALLY wish there was an option to sort by character) is him referring to lancer by name like once (you could argue he calls king and queen by their names, but we don’t know kings name and it could just be titles and queens name technically isn’t queen so yknow. semantics.). HOWEVER he does refer to himself in the third person by name very often! i think it’s very fun that he only gives himself that honor while assigning “worm” or whatever to everyone else, it’s very fun to see his stupid fucking ego working like that lol

In the old commonplace version of rjk events where rk never broke up and Jamie later joins the relationship (so rk still remain publicly facing whilst rjk is kept secret, at least in the beginning) I love to imagine Jamie sets his phone background to a picture like that brett-juno hand holding one after some event rk attended, because he can't get over how good they both look and how sexy they are, and then in the locker room the next day the boys all see it and are like "??? damn bro you really ship them, huh." And Jamie is just like 🥰😘 Yeah I do 😍☺️

Hmm, probably better for pretending to be a blue rose that Lapis has brown hair, blond hair would stay healthier without all the need for bleach, but it also looks too much like an actual rose color for those who see her roots. While the brown just looks concerning for her mental health.

Whodathunk sounding brown/depressed was going to be the best possible option for a human pretending to be a Prophetic Hero!! Not Lapis! and she's stupidly lucky it worked out in her favor! XD
