Satisfied, Part 38

She woke up with a groan and rubbed her eyes. Someone, probably Chloe, had tucked her into bed. She smiled faintly and sat up.
A glance at her phone found a text from Chloe saying she’d gotten home safely, a text from Jason asking if she was okay (really subtle), and a text from Damian asking if she wanted to talk.
She closed her eyes, letting her phone drop to her side. She didn’t really want to talk about anything, she’d already cried herself out of tears the night before and she didn’t intend on doing that again anytime soon.
She glanced at her work. She kinda needed to get a move on, the Wayne Gala was steadily approaching, but she didn’t really have any motivation to do that. She didn’t feel like being productive at all, actually.
What she wanted, really, was a distraction. She mulled over her options. Most of her hobbies also felt like work, from designing to baking, so… what could she do?
Oh!
She pulled up a chat.
Definitelyforgottosleep: wanna hang out today
She barely had to wait for an answer.
Coffeeismygirlfriend: Sure! I’ll be there soon.
She got up and went to the bathroom to get ready, only to see the dried blood on her floor. She bit her cheek and then walked to the door. She glanced back in it’s direction and smiled when she realized her counter covered it. Good. She could deal with that later, then. She didn’t feel like cleaning.
Marinette smiled as she opened the door an hour later, fully ready.
Tim smiled. “Hey! Ready to do some work?”
She grinned and rushed past him, hooking her arm with his. “Nope!”
He blinked confusedly as he allowed her to drag him along. “Uhhhh this wasn’t expected.”
“I can see that. You work too much anyways.”
Tim groaned. “Not you, too! I thought you understood!”
“Not saying it’s a bad thing, but I don’t want to do work today.”
He looked at her like she was insane.
She grinned and pulled him into an arcade that she’d seen a few times on patrol. “Behold! I’m gonna teach you how to have fun!”
He raised his eyebrows slightly. “I know how to have fun.”
“Mmm,” she said, not agreeing or disagreeing.
They both pulled out their wallets and then eyed each other warily. Marinette crossed her arms over her chest.
“I’m the one who wanted to come.”
“I’m the one with more money.”
She rolled her eyes and, however reluctantly, put her money away. He had a point. He probably wouldn’t even register the loss.
He smiled like he’d won something and handed over his credit card. “Uhhhh just as many points as you can give us, I guess?”
The clerk looked exhausted as she nodded, handing over the plastic cards.
And, with that, they were off.
She was better at most of the straight video games. He complained about difficult controls, but she was pretty sure he just wasn’t used to playing on consoles. It made sense, he didn’t really seem the type to play video games in his off time (if he even had any offtime, of course).
Still, he gave her a pout every time he lost. “You’re cheating.”
“Yeah. I’m cheating on this game that I’ve literally never played before in my life. You’ve caught me.”
He huffed. “We’re playing something else.”
Then they moved onto games based on sports. Were they maybe a bit too good at these types of games? A bit too quick? Yes. But neither of them intended on saying anything because oh cool tickets. Still, it became obvious they had different skill sets: Tim had her beat at basketball and Marinette never lost at skeeball. They never learned who was better at air hockey because one of their hits sent the puck flying into someone’s head and they had to run away before they got sued.
Next was games of luck…
She got the lowest possible amount of tickets. Five times in a row.
Marinette kicked the machine and then cursed at the pain. “THIS IS STUPID.”
Tim, however, was trying his hardest not to laugh. “This shouldn’t even be possible.”
“Helpful,” she muttered.
He gave a small shrug as he stepped up to the machine. “Maybe it’s just rigged or something,” he said. She would have been inclined to agree... if he didn’t get a jackpot on his first try.
She huffed at his smug grin. “Shut up.”
“I didn’t say anything.”
“I could feel you judging me,” she muttered, giving his shoulder a small shove.
He grinned. “I’d never.”
She rolled her eyes. “New type of game!”
After a bit they managed to find some co-op games, and she was delighted to find that the two of them together made for a pretty formidable team. Admittedly, some of the games weren’t technically supposed to be played as co-op, but who was going to stop them from getting as many tickets as possible from this fishing game by working together? Really it was the designer’s fault for not taking that into consideration.
They ran out of credits about every hour, but did they care? Not really. Mostly because Tim never told her when this happened, usually waiting until she was distracted with a game to go recharge their cards. Did Marinette notice the fact that their cards were seemingly never ending or that sometimes they would randomly have a lot more credits? Maybe, but she was enjoying herself enough to avoid the guilt at least temporarily.
Eventually, though, the arcade was coming to a close.
They had bags upon bags of tickets hanging off their arms, but this would become their downfall. Despite being smart enough to find ways to get the most tickets at every game, they apparently weren’t smart enough to think ahead and were now struggling to untangle the tickets.
“How did you even do this, bean?”
She knocked her head against the machine she’d been leaning on. “Less talking, more untangling,” she muttered irritably, struggling with a ticket that somehow had gotten a knot in it.
They ignored the workers’ glares as they finally managed to hand over the little slip with their ticket count on it. Despite how much they’d gotten, they were forced to go to the cheapest section.
She pouted. “Man, we were cheated.”
“We could just buy the stuff, it’s a lot cheaper that way.”
She turned her gaze on him, an incredulous look on her face. “Of course not! Where’s the fun in that?”
“You would actually get what you wanted…?”
She huffed. “Boring.”
“You just said you felt cheated.”
“That’s part of the experience, Timothy.”
He rolled his eyes and they split off in search of what they could afford. Her eyes landed on the vigilante merch and a smile came to her face as she got a plan. She quickly rang herself up and headed to the bathroom to change.
She grinned at him as she stepped out in a Red Robin themed hoodie, clutching a plush version of the vigilante to her chest.
Because what’s the point of knowing your friends’ secret identities if you can’t mess with them?
He blushed, his grip tightening on the bag of prizes in his hand.
Marinette tried not to laugh as she looped her arm with his again, pulling him out into the streets. She really didn’t know where they were going, but she didn’t want to just leave when he was looking so flustered. What a wasted opportunity!
“So, Red Robin fan?” He asked after a bit.
She smiled. “Of course! He’s super smart! I mean, I know Batman is supposed to be the greatest detective of all time or whatever but, considering ages and experience, I think that Red Robin is probably going to have him beat in… I don’t know, a few years?”
Poor Tim looked like he was about to pass out, his face was so red.
She smiled and sat down with him on a park bench. People were thinning around them as night approached, but she didn’t care. What was going to happen? They get attacked? That would only really be a bad time for the criminal.
“But I’ve actually met the guy a few times. He’s really nice and genuinely cares about his job from what I’ve seen. Don’t think there’s anything bad to say about him, honestly.”
He grinned, resting an arm around her shoulders.
“He’s alright, I guess.” An odd light sparkled in his eyes and he reached into his bag. He shuffled through his things for a bit and then held up a mug…
There was a picture of Ladybug on it.
“I think she’s cooler, though.”
Marinette fought the urge to bury her face in his shoulder as a blush came to her face. Ah. So this has backfired on her, apparently. All she could manage was a quiet: “Oh?”
“Yep! I think it’s really cool that she came over from Paris, because she really didn’t have to do that. No one would have said anything if she’d disappeared when Hawkmoth was defeated, but instead she decided to help Gotham!”
They were alone, now. This was great, because she didn’t need anyone else seeing her looking like a tomato. She fiddled with the Red Robin plushie in her lap for an excuse to look away.
A hand rested on her cheek and she looked up to see him. He was still a little flushed from her own compliments, but now there was a small grin playing at his lips. “Everything alright, bean? You look a little bit flushed, are you coming down with something?”
She opened her mouth to give an excuse before something struck her. Tim wasn’t stupid, she hadn’t been lying when she had said so. He couldn’t genuinely be wondering if she was sick, the smug look on his face made that obvious. So the only reason he’d be acting like this was if he was teasing her, which meant…
“You know?”
His eyes widened slightly and then flicked to the side. His hand lowered. “And I’m guessing you do, too?”
She nodded almost imperceptibly, closing her eyes. “What gave me away?”
“I was kinda suspicious during the food fight, you were a bit too good at it for a normal civvie, but I really figured it out because of the fox necklace. The one time she wears it is the one time I’ve seen you ever have it? It was just too much of a coincidence.”
She swore in French. She’d forgotten about that! She was going to start wearing the fox miraculous casually to alleviate suspicion, but Red Robin hadn’t come by much after that and she hadn’t been completely sure it was Tim.
“And how’d you figure me out?”
She hesitated. “It was obvious, honestly.”
“Damian?”
She blinked. “What? How’d you know?”
“You wouldn’t lie to protect anyone else.”
Fair enough. “Damian and I sparred, I recognized his fight style.”
He nodded and pulled her into his side a bit more.
She leaned into his touch a little bit, slinging an arm over his stomach lazily. “What do you think I should do?” She mumbled.
He didn’t bother to ask what she was talking about. “Honestly? I don’t like you going out into the field again. You’re not well…”
“But?”
“But the Rogues are unstable and I don’t like the idea of trying to fight them all off without any knowledge of what they were going to do.”
She nodded slightly. That made sense. “That’s about what I figured, too.”
“I don’t like you going out into the field again. You’re not well,” he repeated, pressing a kiss to the top of her head. “The rest of them are probably going to be even more against the idea than me.”
“I’ll convince them.”
“Can you?”
Her head shot up to look at him and she bit at the inside of her cheek. He had a point, unfortunately. Jason was going to be against it, Bruce would probably be cautious of her because of his whole anti-murder thing, Dick would probably lean towards not letting her out again as well. She thought she might be able to convince Damian, but then again he was the only one who knew the full extent of what had happened over the past week.
She sighed and leaned into him again, closing her eyes. She buried her face in his shoulder. “Can you help?”
“Maybe,” he said softly, and she knew immediately that whatever he was going to say she wasn’t going to like it. “If you go to therapy regularly they’d probably be more okay with it.”
She cringed. There was that suggestion again: therapy. It was almost like she needed it or something. Still, she felt her normal excuse fall off her tongue: “What, am I supposed to tell them who I am?”
“Yep.”
She frowned.
“All of us have a regular therapist who sees us in costume and we talk about the job.”
“Will she tell Bruce everything I say?”
“Nope! She only has to tell him if we’re going to hurt ourselves or others.” He gave a short chuckle. “More than necessary, I mean.”
Marinette sighed. “But…”
Man, she was really running out of excuses now.
“It’s really the only way they’ll agree, bean.”
He was right, she just didn’t like it. She didn’t agree out loud, that would only make it feel more real. Instead, she curled into his side.
“We should probably head back to my apartment at some point. It’s going to get cold soon.”
“Yeah, probably,” he agreed quietly.
They didn’t move from where they were for a long time, content to lean into each other for warmth.
And, when they woke up the next morning, they decided to pretend they didn’t notice the giant sign over their necks that declared them under Rogue protection.

[image description: a photo on a dappled white and blue night sky quilt cover, showing an assortment of stim toys. From top to bottom, left to right, toys include: a purple unicorn Squeezamal, a plastic tin of Super Brain Putty, a cake scroll squishy, a DIY sponge doughnut squishy, a Mickey mini Tsum Tsum plush, a black infinity cube, a purple metal Slinky, a knobbled pink sensory shape in a pyramid, a marble maze in a sheep print, an orange-red prickled ball, a purple-spotted bean bag, a pink/white/yellow/purple knock-off Tangle Relax Therapy, four hedge balls, and a pink/blue/green Twiddle.]
Today I had to throw out one of my stim toys--a powder-filled balloon-type squishy/stress ball--because the rubber had split from age.
So I thought I’d put together a list post of the stim toys that I find durable--ones that don’t break on me (like Tangles and squishies), don’t deteriorate or become sticky as the plastic degrades (like vinyl cooler packs, silicone squishies, stretchables) or need to be thrown out after a certain amount of time through aging (like slime). If you can’t afford to keep replacing stim toys, these are the ones I’d be looking for in building a stim kit. It’s worth noting that I’m not the most forceful or aggressive stimmer due to my chronic hand pain: some of these things may not be so durable in another stimmer’s hands.
I’ll also give an honourable mention to mermaid sequins (not pictured) although I tend to find sequins on my floor (they do come off) and the pencil cases (especially the K-Mart ones) have issues of zippers stiffening over time. In the main, though, they’re reasonably durable.
For short discussions on why I like the aforementioned toys, please hit “keep reading”:
Squishables
I’m a fan of the many varieties of squishy plushies (the major brand name is Squeezamals, but there’s many knock-offs and imitations) now available. They’re a plush (usually animal) or faux fur coating over a memory foam sphere, and while they’re a little more dense than most squishies, they don’t crack, split, tear or yellow like a commercial foam squishy.
They do cost more than a commercial squishy, but they last a lot longer, and the plush can be wiped over with a damp cloth or baby wipe.
DIY squishes, the kind made from a memory foam or sponge base and covered with layers of fabric paint, are much more durable than commercial foam squishies. They’re more expensive to make, but my doughnut has lasted for almost a year with no cracking or splitting; none of my other active-use squishies has lasted anywhere close to as long.
The one commercial squishy that seems to be stacking up for durability is the Squeeze Eez scroll squishy. The paint is peeling off mine, but the squishy underneath isn’t cracking or splitting, and I carry mine in my backpack where it’s getting smushed between my wallet, water bottle and keys.
Putty
I’ve stopped using slime altogether, although I have kept a few of my favourites. It’s wet, it’s oozy, you have to wash your hands before using it, it melts with time or heat, and it isn’t that portable. Putty doesn’t have the same poking sound, but it’s clean, portable, has no residue (but is slightly drying--use hand lotion after) and while it does soften more in warmer temperatures, it doesn’t melt, mould or discolour. I can leave a tin for six months and find it in much the same state it was when last I used it.
Most brands are fairly decent. Thinking Putty is too expensive here in Australia; my favourite local brand is Ultra Putty. K-Mart’s Super Brain Putty is a little more brittle (depending on colour/formulation) but its easy to find (and the Super Cosmic Sparkle variant has the prettiness and add-ins of many fancy slimes).
All the putties I’ve liked are as perfect now as they were two years ago, whereas I’ve made and thrown out a lot of slime. The putty just seems so much more cost-effective to me.
(I also like putty over playdough; it doesn’t dry out or collect dirt and dust anywhere near as badly.)
Plush and Soft Toys
If you like fabric textures, these are always going to be among the more durable stim toys. They’re soft, they can be washed when needed and well-made plushies/soft toys are difficult to damage under most stimming conditions.
I like Miniso plush for softness and size (some are as big as pillows) and mini plush like the Disney Tsum Tsums for portability and the texture of the embroidered details and different fabrics.
Slinky
The brand name Slinky is pretty difficult to damage (unless you’re intentionally seeking to do so). I’ve got a few paint chips on mine, but that’s it. It still works as a Slinky despite these cosmetic flaws, and the thicker metal comprising the loops means it’s harder (unlike cheap knock-offs) to get the Slinky tangled in on itself or kinked in the wrong way. It’s not the most subtle or portable of toys, but the sound it makes is amazing.
I’ve used real and fake Slinkies, and if you can get the real one, I do recommend it. It’s easier to use, less prone to tangling, and sturdier; the difference in sound and hand-feel is worth the higher price.
Marble Maze and Bean Bags
Most fabric stim toys, if they’re well-sewn, are going to hold up: the worst that will happen is that a stain doesn’t completely wash out.
I will observe here that I sew my own and I double-seam everything so the fabric or thread will start to rot before it unravels or frays. The durability here may depend on the ability and time of the maker, but if you’re making your own, you have control over the sturdiness.
It’s worth noting that if you fill your bean bag with anything other than plastic pellets or aquarium gravel, you shouldn’t wash it. Unstitch a seam, remove the filling (dried beans, rice, soup mix) and wash the outer before refilling and sewing the seam back up. You can wipe over the outside fabric of bags with mould-prone fillings with a dryish-damp cloth (like a baby wipe) for minor cleaning, if you’re careful not to let the filling get wet.
Infinity Cube
I admit that this isn’t my favourite stim toy, since there isn’t a lot of variation in how I use it. Short of dropping something heavy on it, I don’t think I can break it. It hasn’t stiffened, it hasn’t cracked or broken, and can be wiped over with a baby wipe should it get dusty or dirty.
I wouldn’t toss it loose in a bag for fear of cracking a hinge, but under normal stim usage, the worst I’ve done to it is scratch it.
Tangle Relax Therapy
I love Tangles, but they’re not the most durable stim toy. They’re just not. This said, I haven’t yet managed to break my (knock off) Relax Therapy. For that reason, I’ll cautiously suggest that it may be more durable than other Tangles, perhaps in part because it isn’t designed to come apart as easily as a Tangle Jr.
Twiddle
I don’t like these as much as a Tangle, but they’re designed to break apart and clip back together more readily than a Tangle. There’s no stress on the connector pieces when I do so, in large part because they fasten together by means of a tiny ball slotting into an equally-tiny depression on the opposite piece (making it far more durable than the Tangle peg-and-slot connection). Even when I’m forceful, I see no white stress marks on the pieces.
The real issue, I’ve found, is the risk of losing a piece when the Twiddle is pulled apart.
Prickle Balls and Hedge Balls
Short of taking a pair of scissors to these (or losing the mini hedge balls under the bed) I’m not sure how I’d break these. Likely by putting them under something heavy; running over them with a 4WD might do it! The hedge balls with the stretchable fronds are more prone to breaking and tearing, but the others are just textured balls for rolling, pressing down on and massaging. I’ve had a prickle ball shoved in a bag for a couple of years and other than the ball turning black from the outer bag leeching dye, nothing’s happened to it.

Okay, so here I am with the real March YumeTwins box.

This months theme: Spring Companions
“The cold and harsh Winter Season is drawing to a close and Spring is coming! There’s so many things we love about Spring here at YumeTwins, like the fresh buds and flowers appearing and of course all the cute baby animals that are born in Springtime! But the absolute best part of Spring in Japan is the Cherry Blossom or Sakura! There’s nothing more we love than to sit under the Cherry Blossoms and have a picnic, if you have the chance to no matter where you are in the world you should try too! To get everyone excited for Spring we decided to go with the theme Spring Companions for March’s box! In this Spring Companions box you’ll find a couple of kawaii fluffy companions as well as some more useful companions with lots of pastel and vivid Spring colors, so we hope you’ll enjoy them!“
Contest Prize

Yume Prize

Disney Dreamy Plushie

Our first item is this really cute, fluffy plushie of Marie, from Arisocats (an older Disney movie, which I LOVED when I was a child). Besides Marie we could also get Dumbo, Minnie Mouse, and Miss Bunny (the girl bunny from bambi, she is extremely popular in Japan). Each character features a lovely pastel color scheme and adorable flowers, pearls, and/or star accents.
Marie is also my favorite Disney character, along with Minnie Mouse and Piglet. So I was very happy to see/get her, although the Minnie Mouse was pink so I this would have been my second choice.
Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Well we all know how much I like plushies and stuffed dolls/toys, especially when they’re huggable and soft~ This one is perfect with that in mind, it’s shape fitting right in my arms for full snuggles~
Besides that, the detail on this is really nice. Not only does it add to the dreamy aesthetic, but its done very cleanly. I just wish there was a little bit more, like maybe they could have added a few tiny stars/flowers or more pearls? It’s only a suggestion though, I still think they’re plenty cute.
I did notice a few tiny little minuscule details that bothered me though. Such as the fact they collect hair and whatever else like nobody’s business. Besides that, they also have that obnoxious seam around the middle, the one where the material is a lot thinner and stands out in comparison to the rest of the plush? I also found a few small loose yarn strands...
Anyway, none of this changes how much I like the plush. The yarns can be fixed, it won’t be hard to keep it cleaned. It’s so sweet and even though it is essentially just a head, I think it’s very nice.
Animal Face Pouch

Our next equally fluffy cuteness is this pouch, shaped like a bear, puppy, or cats head; in 7 different styles! They each have a different leather strap color and inside patterned fabric; like my bear, who has a pink dot print.
Besides being a great, small size to fit into objects, you can also attach it to your bag or items if you lack room, or even carry it around your wrist or a strap.
Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
As many pouches as I have now because of these boxes, I think this one would be one of my top favorites. It’s very fluffy and cuddly-soft, and very cute too. I love how versatile it is and it’s pretty fun, using it as a hand held purse one day to a purse accessory the next. It has decent room on the inside for being a smaller pouch, and it’s very light weight.
Cutesy Organizer Folder

If you’re a long-time reader of this blog then you will probably recognize this design; if you’re new though, then welcome :D this design/pattern is on a Tuxedo Sam cup I got (From a YumeTwins box like a year ago), and still use now.
Besides this adorable design, there is also 2 different Kirby, and a Pompompurin available.
Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
As much as I complain about getting these (due to my belief I no longer need them), I will acknowledge that they are useful- and I’m sure at some point I will need something to put important documents in, or just letters, pictures, coloring pages, or drawings I want to save and have no where else to put them.
Anyway, I love how this matches my cup, even if I realistically wouldn’t have a reason to put them together. So as you can probably tell it is bent, but at the same time I’ve been feeling this material and it’s a lot less stiff than my other files have been. I can’t really explain it but it feels really nice.
Kawaii Key Holder

Our next item is this key holder, which was available in 5 different colors and themes: this brown Rilakkuma, a pink and white Korilakkuma, 2 Sumikko Gurashi (one light blue, one light green), and a yellow gudetama.
The key holder has two clips, one for each key, as well as a two other loops to connect it to various things. The string is 65cm long.
Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
At the time I don’t personally have keys of my own (I can’t be the only one right?? I know I probably should...), but I still think this is a cute and creative item. It could also be used for other things though, and it also just makes a cute accessory.
Disney Highlighter Pen

Our next item is this cutesy double-sided highlighter featuring black and white drawings of Disney pairs; like this pink and purple one features Donald and Daisy. There was also a lime and peach one featuring Mickey and Minnie, and a blue and yellow Chip and Dale one. There are 2 other sets but they’re not in the picture.
With that in mind... I’m not a big Daisy fan and I love Minnie Mouse, so I kind of wish I got that one. But I prefer the colors on this one, so I’m not really sure which one I would have wanted if I got the choice...

This is how they look when used. They’re brighter than they look on here/in the pic though.
Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
It’s small and smooth shape makes it easy to carry in a variety of items, and highlighters can be pretty handy, so I like how it’s dual sided rather than being several separates. The quality of the highlighter is great, and I like the color contrast to the black and white design.
Tumbler Set

Our final item is this 3-set of Tumbler cups, available in either a cute pastel Rilakkuma theme, or a colorful and bright Splatoon theme (oddly enough both sets feature the same base colors but different tones, and come with yellow straws). These Tumblers come in the shape of a fast-food cup with 3 included plastic, re-usable straws, and when not being used, the cups and lids can be stacked to take up less storage space.
Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
I like Splatoon and Rilakkuma, so I would have been fine with either set. I have a bunch of lidded cups I really like to use, but I always love to add to my “collection“ so I really like these :3 the designs are unique and very fun to look at, and they seem to be really sturdy so I feel like unless you’re really careless it shouldn’t be that easy to spill using them.
I also like that you get a set of 3, so you could easily share these.
♡ Cutie Ranking ♡
Content - 4.5 out of 5. I don’t sound super-ecstatic or anything, but I actually really, really liked these items. As usual, I feel like half of it will be useful to me, while the other half might not be (for now), but I felt like all of the items are really nice quality and well thought out.
Theme: 4 out of 5. The theme is Spring Companions, and yes, I’d say in that sense these items greatly count as a companion, as you would bring them with you. But when I think spring, besides pretty pastels I think flowers play a pretty big role and I kind of wish they would have included more flowery items.
Total Rank: 9 out of 10. Like I said, I’m not 100% sold on how they carried out the theme but I do really like the items, and they offer a lot of practicality. I don’t know if I’m a bit biased because of how disgruntled the last box left me, or if I really just like this one that much more.
♡ Cutie Scale ♡
1. Animal Pouch - It’s so ultra-fluffy, I just want to cuddle it~
2. Disney Plushie - I love how soft it is, and it’s dreamy inspired design and detail is very pretty~
3. Highlighter Pen - I mentioned this above, but I really like how the white and black tube contrast the colorful ink. It’s very fun to look at.
4. Tumbler Set - I love how the bright colors contrast the rest of the items, and who doesn’t like Splatoon? I love how you get a set of them, and I like how we have 2 stylish designs based on the game, and a cutesy one covered in adorable colorful squid~
5. Key Holder - I like all the metal bits on it :3 I also think this would be a lot of fun to wear as an accessory until I actually find a more practical use with it.
6. Organizer File - This one is really cute, but out of all the items I feel like this one would either get no use, or very little use.

“Smile for the camera, Kaden,” Sting said holding up his phone with the video on. Kaden lifted his head of blonde curls, his round arms working extra hard to prop himself up. Once he saw Sting behind the camera he giggled, albeit drooling a little. His blue eyes seemed to sparkle as Sting circled the camera close to him.
Kaden lifted one arm after the other, trying to follow Sting’s movements but only managing to turn himself in a circle. Sting laughed as Kaden seemed to give up by shouting, “Ah!” and rolling over onto his back.
“Sting, have you seen my-” Rogue’s voice floated from the kitchen behind them as he walked into the living room where Sting and Kaden were. They voice stopped when they saw Kaden on the floor, now lifting his legs in the air and trying to grab at his feet. Rogue’s expression melted.
“Look!” Sting said holding up his phone while the video he just took played on loop. “Is it just me or are his eyes getting bluer by the day?”
Rogue looked at the phone and smiled sweetly. “He’s going to be so handsome, just like his father,” Rogue said and placed a quick kiss on the top of Sting’s messy hair. They both looked again at Kaden as he made a show of rolling around until he almost rolled under the couch. Sting had to catch him and sit him up before he could.
Kaden, now sitting closer to Sting and Rogue looked at them confused. He scrunched his eyebrows and gave them both a face that was just as unsure about what it was doing before as it was about why the before activity had stopped.
“Rogue...” Sting asked.
“Hm?”
“These kids are going to kill me with cuteness one day.”
Before either of them could say anything more there came a loud screech from down the hallway and pudgy footsteps charged towards them. “Speaking of!” Rogue said as he snatched the screaming, giggling child into the air when she passed them.
“I swear this one’s trying to start something this morning,” Rogue said as Ebony giggled wildly and squirmed in their arms. She moved so much that Rogue had a hard time keeping her under control and more than once she flipped over Rogue’s arms until she was hanging upside down, her dark hair hanging in thin locks.
“First, she tries to get into the Christmas presents early,” Rogue continues. “Then when I’m making her breakfast she keeps knocking into the counter and reaching for the surface so she can pull the plate of food on herself. When I finally sit her in the highchair she wears half of her food then dumps the other half in Kaden’s chair.” Rogue finished talking just in time for Ebony to escape their clutches and nearly fall over Kaden in her attempt to tackle hug him.
Sting laughed in spite of Rogue’s hardship and said, “She’s getting pickier by the day, that’s for sure.”
Rogue smiled. “Listen, I gotta go help Minerva pick up some last minute gifts will you be okay with them for a while?”
Sting looked at his two kids. Currently Ebony was grabbing the various lion plushies she always scattered around the house and blocking Kaden in. Kaden, in response, looked around at all the stuffed animals as if they were actually brick walls. He reached his arm out once but didn’t dare to touch the wall of plush, he simple stared confused, his mouth forming a bigger ‘o’ the more lions Ebony managed to find and stack.
“Look at that, they’re practically harmless. We’ll be fine.”
Rogue chuckled. “You say that now but are you going to call me twenty minutes later because Kaden starts throwing his dirty diapers?”
Sting gave Rogue a face and said, “Oh, ye of little faith. They’re babies, Rogue. The great Eucliffe Master can’t be bested by babies.” As if on cue Kaden made a noise somewhere between surprise and excitement. At the same time one of the lion plushies went flying straight into Sting’s cheek.
To Sting’s credit however, he barely flinched. Rogue chuckled again and moved a strand of his bangs that had fallen when the plushie struck it. “Sure. I’ll be back in an hour or so. Don’t forget to get them dressed. Everyone’s going to be here by noon.”
Sting gave his partner a salute from where he sat on the floor and Rogue thanked him with a kiss. Rogue was about to walk back into the kitchen toward the front door when they spun on a heel and said, “Oh, right, have you seen my k-” before they could finish Sting tossed them a shiny, jangling set of car keys. They caught it with ease.
“Found them on the floor where Kaden was playing,” Sting said, bringing his phone up again to photograph the playing children. “I think he knocked them off the coffee table. Had them halfway in his mouth by the time I stopped him.”
“Thanks,” Rogue said and they were out the door in the next moment.
Sting got a few more pictures of Ebony hugging her lion plushies and Kaden occasionally reaching tiny hands towards her. Then he stood up and clapped his hands making both babies look at him in confusion.
“Alright you two! It’s Christmas morning and I need to get you dressed and presentable for the gawkers that are coming to shower you with gifts later. Ready, cadets?”
Kaden just stared blankly at Sting. Ebony on the other hand gave a high pitched giggle and began running, as fast as her unsteady legs would carry her, out of the living room. Kaden smiled and tried to follow after his sister but only managed to power crawl.
“Oh no, you don’t!” Sting shouted after his two year old. He picked up Kaden along the way and chased after a giggling Ebony.
It was many hours later by the time Sting got the kids presentable and ready for the Christmas party. Rogue said how proud he was that Sting had managed to get them dressed so quickly. “And Kaden isn’t even trying to rip his clothes off,” they remarked. Sting took the compliment but kept his mouth shut.
It hadn’t been easy and in all honesty Sting only just managed to get his to-do list complete before Rogue got home. A to-do list which consisted of: cleaning the house up, keeping Kaden from knocking everything over while ripping his clothes off, and keeping Ebony from getting into every dangerous thing she sees. Still, Rogue didn’t need to know the knitty-gritty.
Now Sting was sitting in a room full of his laughing friends. The lights were dimmed so the tree Rogue, Yukino and him had decorated this year could glow properly. Sting had never felt more at peace with the world.
He had Rogue, sitting on the ground beneath his seat on the couch, both of their wonderful kids sitting as close to the tree as they can get with presents quite literally stacked higher than their heads. Sting had his friends, Yukino and Minerva taking up the last two spots on the couch, each holding one of their own twins that slept soundly somehow through the loud voices. Orga and Rufus were instructing Angus, their eight year old, to distribute presents to everyone and open up all the ones Orga got him first.
Sting watched happily. Everything was perfect to him. The way the red and gold lights on the tree reflected on everyone’s face and gave them a natural glow. The way Rogue was leaning their back into Sting’s knees so Sting could play with their hair and massage their shoulders. The way Kaden looked at every present in his lap with intensifying confusion until Angus would chuckle and pretend yell at him that he had to open the present to see what was inside.
“Open that one next, Ebby,” Rogue cooed pointing to an indigo wrapped child’s toy with patterned snowflakes. It took a few tries to get Ebony focused enough that she would find the present Rogue was pointing to but when she did she tried to hand it to Rogue.
They laughed and simply said, “No, Ebony this is your present. It’s for you.”
Ebony’s smile lit up and she stared at the present as if she couldn’t believe what Rogue had told her. Meanwhile Rogue leaned forward slightly so he could begin to tear open the side of the gift.
Once the seal was broken though Ebony had no problem ripping it open the rest of the way with glee. Every new tearing sound excited her and Sting watched her get lost in just ripping the paper until she had forgotten what was inside it.
There was an audible chorus of ‘wow’s when Ebony’s present finally revealed itself. She dropped the paper and looked at the gift. It was a round lion plush that had a rattle in the tail, an overly happy face, large eyes and for some reason a mirror on its stomach. Ebony was immediately entranced with it.
Sting leaned down to whisper to Rogue, “Why did you get one with a mirror on its stomach? It looks like the lion’s already ate her.”
Rogue shrugged and looked up at Sting through lazily combed bangs. “I didn’t even know that’s what it was. I just grabbed one of those presents from the community tree at work.”
Sting sighed. “Well, she’ll probably love it.”
“I think she’s discovered her new love,” Minerva said bouncing Jordan in her arms as she watched Ebony stare into the mirror on the stuffed lion. “Herself.”
Yukino giggled and in a baby voice said, “Who is that Ebony?” she leaned forward and pointed to the mirror. Ebony immediately reeled back as if she had just noticed the reflection.
She looked to Yukino, confusion setting in on her face. Then Ebony looked back at the mirror and squinted. She pointed a chubby finger to it as well, pushing so hard she left fingerprints.
“Hoo?” Ebony cooed looking once more at Yukino.
“Do you know who that is?” Yukino asked pointing again to the mirror. Ebony stared blankly at her and seemed to hold the lion plush a little further away from herself. “That’s you. That’s your reflection.”
Ebony’s mouth dropped as soon as the first sentence left Yukino’s mouth. She looked back at the mirror in shock and dropped it on the floor. Ebony for all the world acted as if she had just been told she’d won the million dollar lottery.
Everyone laughed and Ebony gazed at them all confused. Sting could practically see the wheels in her head turning trying to figure out what this new information meant and why they were all laughing.
In the process she picked up the plush again, held the mirror in front of Rogue and said, “You!” very proudly.
Rogue couldn’t keep a smile off his face. “Yeah, that’s right, Ebby. Good job!”
Ebony giggled so loudly Sting thought she might blow out her vocal chords making a noise like that at such a young age. Then she hugged the lion extremely close to her and ran off to join Angus trying to teach Kaden how to open presents in the most destructive way possible.
Sting, for the first time in a long time, felt he had everything he ever needed. Unprompted he leaned forward a bit, snaking his arms around Rogue and placing his chin on the top of Rogue’s head. His partner glanced up and placed one of their hands on his arms, humming contently.
Yes. These were the moments. The moments he had only dreamed of being able to experience years before. These were the times that made everything about his heartbreaking past worth living just so he could experience this moment right now.
“I love you,” Sting whispered into Rogue’s hair. Only they could hear. Rogue grabbed one of Sting’s hands and kissed it in return. Sting had said the only three words that could sum up everything about the emotions that held him captive. But it still wasn’t enough. Looking over at Angus playing sweetly with Kaden and Ebony, all of their parents watching with soft smiles, Sting knew nothing he could ever say would be enough. But maybe for right now just to enjoy this moment would fill that gap.

Cutie Reviews: Kawaii Box August 18
After doing all of those beauty and gacha boxes, I’ve really missed these others one. I’m so glad to be reviewing Kawaii Box again!
Remember, if you like anything in this review or would be interested in seeing what they have, visit Blippo.com to check them out. They’re constantly adding new items and it’s all for very reasonable prices.

This months theme: Too Cute For School!
This months word: Empitsu - Pencil
So this month, the theme focuses on school and cute items that not only look kawaii, but are also functional for most part!
Let’s see how they did!
Sumikko Gurashi Stickers

These little stickers are perfect for adding a touch of cuteness to a note, calendar, or planner. They range from small, to super-tiny. The other variation of these are $1.90 on Blippo.
Rating: ♥ ♥
As much as I love Sumikko Gurashi, and a lot of these stickers are ultra-cute, there’s a handful of problems with this one; a lot of them have a gold border or accent, which is pretty to look at- but as a result some of them have little bits of gold when they weren’t meant to, or they’re too covered in it or in the wrong placement. There is also one full sticker missing, and a weird diagonal line going through 4 of them, and part of what looks like a stickers lining on the side, but you can’t peel it off.
I mean everything is still usable, and a lot of them are fine- but that’s some bad quality control...
Namakemono No Makke Plushie

Next to Gudetama, a sloth is just as nice for those lazy days or those times when you need a pick-me-up. There is 4 available in this line by Amuse... and honestly, I don’t know which one I got <,<
The picture shows a pink, dark brown, brown, and white sloth. But Blippo has a different variety. If you’re interested though, the price has recently gone down to $4.45.
Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥
It’s soft and squishy, but a little firm. It’s very cute, and I love how nice the claws feel. But like the stickers, I think there might have been a few problems; besides not being centered (for anybody triggered by things like that), you can very easily see the stitching seems in various places, and I noticed it’s right foot hangs longer than it’s left and points downward. I’m not sure if it was intentional or not, but it looks like he broke his leg.
Rainbow Pon-de-Ring Donut Squishy

I’ve been waiting to review this baby! This is a Blippo original item based on the pon-de-ring, the special one of a kind donut by Mister Donut, a brand exclusively in Japan. It’s available on the website for $2.90 in both this form and keychain form.
It’s not scented as far as I know, but I do pick up a small scent from it. It has a fast rising speed but it’s very soft, which is what I consider to be the most important detail- besides being cute.
Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
It’s very cute, and I love the color scheme and shape. The one complaint I have against it is that it has a messy lining, as you might be ale to see in the picture. The lining (outside and hole) is very... it looks like whoever cut the extra material off did a poor job. That’s probably the best I can explain it. The problem with trying to peel it off is that it also pulls off little bits of the color; so I’ll be finding my smallest pair of scissors to deal with this issue later.
Let’s see how long it takes for me to find an item that doesn’t have issues.
Unfortunately it isn’t the next one.
Yori Cook Mini Whiteboard

Yori Cook is a cute little series we’ve seen in this box before. I’m not really sure what it is though, other than knowing it’s by a brand called caramel popcorn, but it has a bunch of cute animals which is good enough for me.
So anyway, this is a cute whiteboard with a marker and a hole on top so that you can easily hang it up somewhere it’d be more accessible. It’s also double-sided, one side is bare (minus the drawings) while the other features a weekly schedule.
Besides this pink set, there is also yellow, green, and blue. It’s recently gone down to $2.25.
Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
I think it’s a cute idea, and I like that they included a hole for hanging. You could loop a string through it, or use a nail if you wanted to put it up. Or you could even carry it around with you (although that might get erased a lot sooner).
The only thing is, I wish they included a string or clasp to hold the marker. I don’t really blame them for that though because I noticed a lot of these miniature ones do that.
Koinobori Plush Charm

An exclusive plush only available for $2.90 on the Blippo website, coming in pink, yellow, and indigo. This is a cute, carp streamer-inspired charm that resembles those colorful windsocks Japan is known for having.
Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
It’s a firm plush, but it’s still soft and kinda cute. I’m not a fan of yellow (as many of you know), but I don’t actually hate it here. There’s no real problem with this as far as I can see; ironically this is the first item I don’t have any issues with.
Fruity Eraser & Never Stop Dreaming Notebook

First up is this fruity eraser, which includes a cute little roller to allow you to glide it around, but you can also just take it out and use it free-hand. There is a large, colorful variety of these, each for $1.60 on Blippo.
Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥
The concept is cute, and the fruit slice is very nicely detailed, I wish it was scented~
I do have another problem though. You can’t see it in this picture, but the roller thingy on mine is broken. It keeps slipping out on the one side and doesn’t really roll for me. So it’s pretty much useless. The eraser works fine though.
Our other item is the Never Stop Dreaming notebook, it’s currently on sale for $1.95 on the website in four different colors, and there are other variations of it too.
The notebook pages are plain but the border has a design on it, which is kind of cute. It also has a band to hold it shut, and a ribbon page marker/bookmark,
Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
It’s adorable, even though I’m not a fan of such tiny notebooks, it would come in handy and it’s small size makes it easy for travel or carrying around. Again, there is a small problem- I wish I was making this stuff up. I noticed a lot of pages in mine have a lot of these dirty looking speckles that i‘m pretty sure aren’t supposed to be there.
Kawaii Octopus Pen

Our next item is this super-adorable octopus ink pen. Available in a variety of pinks and blues on the blippo website, each is now on sale for $1.68.
Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
It’s not the most decorative pen we got from a box, but I love the cute little octopus on top~ it’s so sweet looking. It’s a typical ink pen otherwise, it writes smoothly.
Magical Unicorn Pencil Pouch

Available in four, magically inspiration designs featuring rainbows and unicorns; these are perfect for carrying the pen, eraser, and whiteboard marker we got- along with many other items!
It’s currently on sale for $2.95.
Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Not only is it really cute looking, but you have a lot of room for holding classroom essentials. The seams and detail are fine, no issues there. I don’t really have much to say about this one, but after everything else that’s probably a good thing.
♥ Cutie Ranking ♥
Content - ♥ ♥ ♥ Everything was alright. I wasn’t really super-excited about anything besides the squishy and cute pen.
Quality - ♥ ♥ I rarely ever actually have to use the quality part of this, but here we are... I don’t know if everyone’s was like mine, or if I was just the lucky person who got all the issues. The items are still usable as I’ve said, with the exception of that dinky roller.
Price - ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ Unlike the past few boxes, this one actually ended only being about a dollar more than what we pay ($20.33). Which isn’t bad at all.
Theme - ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ There’s no denying that they pretty much got it. There are like one or two items I don’t really see as school appropriate- but out of 9 items, that isn’t bad.
Total Rank: 13 out of 20 Cuties. I really wanted to like this box, and initially i did until I was forced to really look at it. Usually the quality is really good, so I was kind of disappointed I found so many little problems with a lot of the items.
♥ Cutie Scale ♥
1. Mini Whiteboard - In the end, I was kind of surprised this ended up being my favorite thing. I love the clear pink border it has, and each side is versatile and features cute designs, which I really like. If they had just included something to hold the marker, it’d be perfect!
2. Sumikko Gurashi Stickers - I admit that there are several issues with these, but at the same time they don’t entirely take away from the cuteness. I’ve never seen the group look so tiny~
3. Squishy - It might be a bit messy, but it’s ultra-soft and I love the semi-rainbow coloring effect. The booklet makes it look better than it actually is though.
4. Octopus Pen - It’s so sweet looking~ It makes me smile, and I love the pale pink color~
5. Unicorn Pencil Pouch - It’s sort of like the notebook, but the colors are much more vibrant and features a little more variety in terms of design and color options.
6. Fruit Eraser - I was surprised by the quality of the orange, especially in comparison to some of the other fruits, and the roller. I like the clear piece it attaches to too.
7. Plush Charm - For me not to hate the yellow on something means it’s not that bad. I kind of like how the eye color stands out against the body color.
8. Notebook - It’s pastel designs make it look kind of elegant, rather than cute. I wish the pages had been a different color though, to make something stand out a bit more. The colors are kind of muted.
9. Namakemono Plush - As cute as it is, after looking at it for long it kind of reminds me of those partially bald baby birds...
Well, here we have it. We’ve come to the end of another review :3 I hope you guys found it enjoyable and semi-informative. Next up will be the Tokyo Treat august review, followed by Doki Doki crate.
Until then, stay cute!

Cutie Reviews: Kawaii Box July 19
Here we are guys, the Kawaii Box I’ll be reviewing tonight. I’ve had these pictures ready since Sunday but I blame my birthday and the delivery issues for the Lucky Treat as to why it took me almost a week...
Let’s hope the next one is quicker :D

Word of the month: Ryokou - Trip
“Create the best summer vacation ever with this month’s selection of kawaii goodies!“
Happy Day Pill Organizer & Kawaii Candy Wrapper Hairclips

For a summer holiday it can come in handy to have some little necessities with you, especially if they’re really cute ones. Both items are available in other designs/colors on Blippo.com.
First up is this little pill box, featuring a ball chain you can attach to a bag or purse, or even pants or belt loops for easy access to your vitamins or essential medication. I think you could even pack other tiny items, like a handy place to hold small jewelry, ear/nose plugs, contacts (maybe), little hair accessories, etc.
I’ve gotten a few other pill box containers, but they really do come in handy. Not only can I pack the above items, but I’ve also started taking vitamins these past two years, I also have an antibiotic I’m on right now, and I try to keep ibuprofen and stomach medicines on hand for me or others. Because I have a couple it also saves me room in my bed-side table.
So yeah, I’ve been making good use of them.
-------
Hair care and accessories can also be a necessity, clips provide an easy and quick method of getting hair out of the face. They also look adorable~
These clips are made to resemble wrapped candies or sweets, with a clear resin or plastic on front decorated with various items and a painted back, along with a vibrant semi-translucent clip. The clip quality is nice with little spiked pieces to weave through the hair and securely hold it, and the charm itself isn’t loose or flimsy.
I love their original hair clips (except for those neon nightmare ribbons from a few months ago), and these are very sweet and fun. The candy theme and colorful mix of vibrant and pastels makes them perfect not only for summer, but any occasion!
Aiko Headphone Case

Next up is this adorable Aiko-chan case for... I assume earbuds? It says headphone but I don’t think they would fit in there. Anyway, it features a double-sided image and an attachable pink metal piece so that you can connect this to various items, or you could even loop something else through the strap if you wanted.
The inside is a basic black, with a half-mesh piece on one of the sides. It’s compact but you could definitely fit some decent things in here besides earbuds; like everything I listed above, a hand sanitizier, small makeup items, toothpicks or ear cleaners, mints, candy, a mini notepad or sticky note set, etc.
This is really cute, but I kinda wish the design was more... summery? Like using the one from the booklet cover, which is what they usually do.
Hello Kitty Mermaid Plushie

Now this is what I’m talking about- although... this would have been a better match for the previous months box, with the mermaid items don’t you agree?
This is from a brand or company called Nakajima, and is part of a Sanrio Characters line. It’s officially worth or costs 20 Sanrio points, and I’m pretty sure its based on the much larger Hello Kitty mermaid plushies. I’ve seen a handful of them though so this could just be another catfish in the sea ;3 She has a light pink piece of tulle on her head adorned by a glittery felt star, with the same tulle around the top of the chest, and her tail is light purple with a shimmery, glittery hot pink semi-translucent fin. By the corner of her eye are two stitched stars in matching colors.
The plush is soft in the paws, but the head is more firm, with the tail just slightly softer. She’s well made and she even has a ball chain, so I could attach her to things as well if I wanted and bring her with me~
Icy Pastel Popsicle Pen

As usual we got a fun pen, and these never fail to please when it comes to fun, cuteness, and theme matching. So this month we have a multicolored pastel popsicle-shaped piece attached to the nubbin’ of a pen lid. The pen itself is a plain, thin white tube and there is a fine tip; and as usual it’s available in a few other colors. I love popsicles too, so I made sure to add it to the other pens I enjoy using.
There isn’t really much to say about the pen quality wise, other than the fact it needs a few minutes to dry. The pen can hold a line for a long time (as in, you don’t need to force flowage) and it can dot and write very easy and smooth.
Tiny Party Sparkly Stickers

As usual we also get adorable stickers, and this month we have a set of adorable, glittery, pastel items perfect for not only a fun party during summer or a get-together with friends, but also add a sweet touch to various items- like letters, notes, photo albums, picture frames, etc.
The stickers are “barely puffy“ to give them a 3D look, and what I think is adorable is on the upper corner, where it lists this:
Calories: ???
Enjoyment: 110%
Happiness: 100%
I really like all of the stickers but I think my most favorite are the candy containers, the unicorn cupcake or ice cream, and the jelly desserts.
Happy Nikukyu Polar Bear Gummies

We’ve gotten gummies like these before from Kawaii Box, and in a few other boxes, but usually they are cat or dog themed. To cool down from the warm summer weather, we’re invited to enjoy these chilling polar bear paw gummies, which as you can see are filled with a creamy gel. The bag is re-sealable and the entire bag is 102 calories- which I don’t really think is too bad. If you ate the whole bag it’d be a nice little snack.
I usually like these gummies, and they’ve never been filled before so this was a fun change. I also love soda flavors, and these are very yummy. The cooling effect lasts for a few minutes and is very soothing, it isn’t harsh or minty at all.
Korean DIY Kawaii Bracelet Set

Fun for a rainy day or just a bout of boredom or some time to yourself, we have this cute and colorful jewelry set. It consists of several colorful charms in various shapes and sizes, and it has a long bundled up stretchy string.
I pulled out the more “random charms“ to show you guys, and there was several that I only had one of, like that heart, the flower, the big, that big rose. I had multiple of the heels, but I thought they were so random and cute I couldn’t help but include them. I also noticed a lot of spare little bits of plastic I can’t do anything with, and there was one or two pieces with extra plastic I’ll need to remove before use.
However... I actually kind of like how they look in the little jar, I’m a bit hesitant about using them. I might just leave them as is. But I’ll probably use a couple pieces.
Korean DIY Kawaii Cupcake Set

I’ve done a couple of kits like this before, they’re a lot of fun and I love to see how different they are between each one. I do wish we could have a little more variety kit wise, but because they differ it’s not that bad. Plus there are color variations so you can have a lot of fun making these, then re-using them for re-ment or dolls, or just cutesy displays later.
So as you can see we have two frostings, along with 3 cupcake liners and 3 glasses, and four bottles of deco bits: Styrofoam balls, glittery green stars, fruits and random other canes, and various glittery bits.

Here are 3 I did, including 1 cupcake and 2 drinks. I’ve gone ahead and did another cupcake sometime after this pic, but I still have 2 pieces left over and a little bit of the “frosting“, which is a lot like glue in terms of consistency and feel. When you finish, it has a smooth and puffy texture, but it hardens over time and loses the squishiness.
I believe there would be enough to finish the last 2 pieces, but I’m unsure. The cupcake isn’t entirely frosting, I used spare bits to fill the bottom, a squirt of blue frosting, then filled it in white.
It’s very fun, but I will warn you, from the experience I’ve had with these types of things you definitely want tweezers to use. It will make the job loads easier and less-messy.
♥ Cutie Ranking ♥
Content - 5 out of 5: The items are well-made and really sweet, I like them all.
Theme - 2.5 out of 5: I felt like this could have been a lot better, I want to say at least half of the box was summery vacation themed
Total Rank: 8 out of 10 Cuties. I liked the items a lot, but I didn’t feel excited or super-thrilled with the box either. It was just good, not great or fantastic though, but you can’t please everyone and I still really liked it. The items are cute and colorful, and fun and practical. I can’t help but wonder what Augusts’ box will be like though, since both this one and the June one are both falling short on summer expectations. We’ll just have to wait to find out!
♥Cutie Scale ♥
1. Polar Bear Paw Gummies - These were delicious, I’d recommend them if you ever see them
2. Kawaii Hairclips - As I said above, I love the unique hair accessories we get from Blippo/Kawaii Box, I especially love these ones inspired by food items :3 I’ve worn them a couple of times and I really, really like them.
3. Popsicle Pen - It’s so cute, I just wish the pens tube wasn’t so plain. It’s a little boring, but I can understand the design choice.
4. Sparkly Stickers - I probably won’t use these because of how much I like them. Unless I just find the perfect place for them that is~
5. Pill Organizer - It’s very fun and I love the use of black as a pop of color to the soft pastels. It’s been easy to use and it came in handy freeing up space.
6. Hello Kitty Mermaid - It’s very cute and I’m obsessed with Hello Kitty, I don’t have a mermaid hello kitty, unless you count the large dress-up hello kitty doll I have, who was mermaid themed when I bought her.
7. DIY Bracelet Kit - Same as below, but I’m less-likely to actually touch it right now. I love looking at all the pieces~
8. DIY Cupcake Set - It’s very cute and fun, and relaxing too. But I’ve been there done that.
9. Aiko Case - It’s very cute and small, I won’t be using them for earbuds or headphones but I know I can find a use for it in my bed-side table or purse. I still wish they used the design from the front though...
